My 1 year old loves books, unfortunately they all end up in his mouth so he can't play with them unsupervised, that is why this book is perfect. He can chew it and toss it around without any problems. He loves the bright colors and vivid contrast on each page. The paint is very durable, lots of handling and chewing without any paint chipping or damage.This is not a book that we will sit and read together because there is simply not much of a story. But as a tool to help your little one loves books it is a must!!!
