My dog is a determined chewer, and normally goes through stuffed toys in a matter of minutes, this toy has held up well! We also purchased the purple cow and green gator by the same manufacturer, the cow held up well too, the gator did not. I would highly recommend this toy.

THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE STURDIEST DOG TOY AROUND. THE EYES AND NOSE ARE SEWN IN NOT PLASTIC BUTTONS THAT GET CHEWED OUT IN A MATTER OF MINUTES. THIS THING IS MADE TO TAKE INCREDIBLE ABUSE! THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE (AND HARDLY WORTH MENTIONING) IS THAT THE SQUEEKY THING IS HARD TO FIND BUT THAT'S BECAUSE THE HIPPO IS SO FAT. HEY! BUT HIPPOS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FAT, RIGHT? CAN'T BELIEVE THE PRICE FOR SUCH A GREAT TOY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. MY PUPPY IS 8 MONTHS OLD. NUFF SAID! ARF!
