Ty Baby Pups - Pink Dog Baby Pups - Pink Dog

Ty Baby Pups - Pink Dog Baby Pups - Pink DogMy mom brought this puppy to the hospital when our daughter was born, and it has been her favorite stuffed animal all along. She is now eleven months old, and although she doesn't have any items that she HAS to have with her at all times, this puppy is definitely one of her favorites. And it's super cute! I would have no hesitation buying it as a baby gift or as a gift for any little girl.

My two-year-old daughter received pink puppy when she was born and will not sleep without her special friend. It looks relatively new despite being flattened twice each day for sleep (kiddo sleeps on top of the toy) and being washed at least 5 times (inside a pillow case, air dry). We will be purchasing a couple of backups.

My daughter received this puppy as a gift when she was one. Right away she loved it, and over time she has grown really attached to it. She sleeps with it and takes it to daycare with her. She kisses it all the time. I purchased three more just in case something unfortunate should happen to hers. If my daughter ends up not needing them, they would still make excellent gifts for other children.

We needed to find a "scruffy/scruffilina" like her older brother and sister. By using Amazon, we were able to find a number of the "Ty" brand small puppies and our 3-year old daughter was delighted to find this one with pink spots.

Pro: Very soft and surprisingly durable. Reasonable cost. Good initial amount of filling to be soft and yet "grasp-able" by small hands. We've had ours for almost 2 years now and it is holding up wonderfully given that our kid takes it everywhere... I mean everywhere! The only signs of age are that the fabric is matting a little (but still very soft) and a couple of threads have loosened up (we tied them off and cut the excess). Although not recommended, it can be machine washed and dried. Fabric cleans up nicely from all sorts of dirt. Limited educational value unless you start teaching the child about a dog's needs (feeding, bathing, etc).

Con: The filing collapses after about a year of intense use, so the doggie appears "deflated". Colors fade a bit with machine washing and sunlight exposure.

Overall, our child loves this doggie so much that we bought 2 additional ones just in case the original busts or is lost.
