This is a fun toy for any baby; they seem drawn to the colors, rattling balls inside, and music (although an adult's help is required to push the button until the child is older).

Since it's inflatable, it's great for travel, too.

Therapeutic play suggestions:

Have your child lay over the roller to play with a puzzle or activity center on the floor in front of him.

Have your child sit straddling the roller to play a game. For example, place a puzzle base on the couch, with the child straddling the roller facing the puzzle base. Sit behind your child and hold the puzzle pieces so that he has to reach up and behind him to reach the piece, then switch sides for the next piece.

My son loves this toy. He likes to roll it back and forth then look at the balls inside through one of the two windows. He also gets a good laugh when we play peek a boo through the two windows. The balls inside jingle enough to get his attention but not so loud that they would be annoying.And there is a little music button but it is hard to push and he is more interested in the balls inside anyways.

A friend of ours bought this for our son who is eight months old now. I just ordered our third one. He LOVES to crawl after it and play with it. It truly is one of his favorite toys. However, if you are too rough (which doesn't take much) with them, they seem to start loosing air. So, it is definitely a winner for my son, but loser because it seems to break easily. This will be my last one!
