We purchased the spinning top for our great grandson for his 1st birthday. Our children and grandchildren had one and really enjoyed them. Our great grandson took the spinning top out of the box and immediately began playing with it. It is one of his favorite toys to play with. The top has very bright colors and is especially well made.

I fell in love with this classic spinning top the moment I saw it! I purchased it for my 1.5 year old and I don't know if it was more for him or myself. I planned on keeping it long after he was finished playing with it. On a shelf with the rest of my FAO Schwarz collection. However, just a few months after purchasing it will no longer spin. I'm trying to find a possible way to repair it, but can't seem to find anyone else who has this issue.

what a piece of overpriced junk. The kids played with it for a little while, but it is flimsey and broke on the second day. $50 !!! Holy Crap! Why hasn't some Chinese company started banging these things out for $10 free shipping on ebay yet?
