I bought these because the FisherPrice Precious Planet Bubble Books Let's Rhyme and Let's Count that my son owned had been torn by him after much use. Those books were his favorites and he spent a good amount of time "reading" them, so I bought this pack to replace the ones he owned earlier. Somehow the pictures didn't interest him and he keeps going back to his older ones although they are completely tattered.If your little one likes reading books, you might try these. They are made of plastic kind of material that is stain and water resistant so you can wash them with water/soap. They are quite durable too and since they are soft (have foam inside), they can be turned/twisted by kids with no harm done. They also make excellent bath toys. You can try this set that teaches everyday basics or the Precious Planet set that teaches counting, rhymes, colors etc. Both are good, though my son preferred the other set, I believe it depends upon kids to kids.
