I got this tractor for my three-year old grandson to replace one just like that he loved. I let him roll the original one down his slide several times, but we ended up wrecking it by doing that! It would hit the ground and tumble over and over and it finally broke the bucket that is on it. We both learned from that. It actually is a very strong toy and fun to use in the sandbox, so if it's used the way it was intended it will last a long time. I would highly recommend it for little ones.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Minnie Laptop Junior

For being Disney, this toy does not have much to it. It only plays a few songs and only teaches numbers 1, 2, & 3, and letters A, B, & C. Also teaches very basic shapes and colors. Would have liked to know this before purchasing. I would not have gotten it otherwise. However, my daughter is in love with all things Minnie Mouse so it does keep her busy for a little while.

For 10$ I believe I got what I paid for. My daughter is almost 1 And loves to open and close MY laptop do I bought her this little Minnie laptop and it's entertaining for her. But can't imagine it being useful for much longer. It's a boring toy for an older kid and I WOULD DEFENITELY not buy it for $22 like its listen on here. Because then I'd be VERY upset at how useless the toy actually is

I received this laptop as a baby gift and gave it away. It is horrible. It has a few buttons and when you press them, minnie mouse sqeaks in a barely understandable voice while random little lightbulbs light up.

By the time my daughter is old enough to understand that the voice is saying words and not just squeaking, I imagine she'll know her colors anyway. You really don't want your kid learning how to speak from Minnie.

On top of all this, unless you have a laptop from 1992, this is going to be barely familiar to your child as a laptop.

Horrible toy. It's a whole lot of plastic wrapped around a few buttons that make a few tiny lightbulbs light up while a super annoying voice squeaks. Even if your daughter loves Minnie ... this is going to be too babyish for her.

We have picked up several of these types of pieces during our train building/buying marathon that has lasted many years now. These are typical brio quality. They are well built, sturdy pieces. They have been helpful. We have found you need a variety of sizes and shapes to fill in the odd opening. These have been more than helpful because you can make your track go straight without having it go too far straight and running off the table.

Disney Baby Winnie the Pooh Baby Rattle (Styles May Vary)

I was dissapointed with this rattle, it doesn't make much noise and is very poor quality. I bought this for my grandaughter, because she has a Winnie the Pooh theme and I look for everything with the Pooh. The only thing good about this one is that it has a picture of Winnie the Pooh, otherwise not worth it.

Hape Little Copter

This is a great size for little hands, seems very durable and well built. Simple, not a lot of parts to get broken! Easy to spin propeller (which my son loves!) very cute toy:)

Nice quality solid construction and no issues with paint coming off or parts breaking so far (a few months after purchase). Unlike what one of the other reviewers reported, our propeller spins fine so she must have gotten a lemon. I also bought the Little Dump Truck and Little Plane, but out of the three this one is my 12mo old's favorite, I think because of the propeller. If you only want to get one I recommend this one, but if you're interested in getting the whole set I don't think you can go wrong there either! Very pleased with the Hape products I have purchased excellent quality wooden toys that seem like they'll really last.

This is one of our baby's favorite toys. She loves to crinkle the pages, lift the baby face up and down, and look at herself in the mirror. It never seems to get old. When the book is out of her reach she will motion towards it until someone hands it to her!

By the way, I do not understand M. A. Spyker's review -this person seems to think that the product contains lead simply because it made in China and has bright colors. I would advise this person to CHECK THE LABEL. Most new children's products have a "CE" mark or other indication of lead testing. If not, CALL OR EMAIL THE MANUFACTURER. I have done so on several occasions when I am uncertain about a product's safety. If Ms. Spyker has any evidence supporting her claim that this product was made with lead paint, I hope that she will share it. Otherwise, I hope she will refrain from publishing alarmist commentary.

I love this doll. I think she's adorable, unique, and spunky. My 14 month old daughter likes carrying her around and loves taking her shoes off. She's a fun doll for little kids without being overly feminine, which I appreciate. For some reason she's cheaper than other Haba dolls, which I don't understand, but is definitely a bonus. ..and durable! These are the perfect size for my 6 month old's hands. He can pick them up, transfer them from hand to hand. He loves to chew on them and suck on them (ew!). They can be easily tossed into the washing machine, which is a must for any toy used by a teething baby.

He also digs the crate they came in. Strangely enough, so does my 4 yr old, who I had to locate and retrieve the toys from several times the first day.

Gave this as a gift to a friend of mine who is a vegetarian and just had a baby. Vilac Car with Stripes - Red

My 2 and 3 year olds (boy and girl) are just getting into cars, and these work so well! They roll smoothly, and they have a great painted finish that has withstood banging, crashing, and dropping, all without chipping! My only complaint is that it would be nice to see some accurate skin tone portrayals for the drivers. As the white mother of two black children, I have to work really hard to ensure that their toys don't end up reflecting a sea of white. While Vilac's drivers are orange or peach, I have yet to find brown, black, or tan.

Ultimately, you can't go wrong with Vilac's high quality products.

My First Birthday Photo Album

This photo album is one of my favorite gift ideas.... I usually open it up and print out a few pictures to get the album started and make sure all the pages are straightened out (they come a little crumpled, but as soon as you smooth them out it looks great! I really like how you can wipe down pages since they get so sticky from those little cake hands :)

Cute thing to have as a keepsake for baby, but it's a little difficult to get the pictures in the pages

The Booda Soft Bite Medium Carrot Dog Toy is our dog's favorite toy! She adores it! More durable than most of the toys we have tried, this carrot is one of the few toys that she has not destroyed within 24 hours. The squeaker has a great sound, better than those in other squeaker toys we have tried. The squealer is easy for her to work and loud and interesting enough to keep her interested but not so loud or irritating to be obnoxious --which is a real plus since she loves to play with it over and over and over again. Our puppy loves the sound so much that she enjoys experimenting with the different sounds she can make even more than chewing it! The shape makes it easy for her to carry it in her mouth for such games as fetch. She also likes to cuddle with her head on this soft toy.

We adopted a rescue puppy who was terrified of just about everything, including toys. Her initial reaction to this toy was wonderful! This toy helped her come out of her shell and be less afraid of noise in general. I was not sure if the toy would be scary or not but once she found the squeaker noises, she just loved being able to play and make noise herself, making all sorts of variations and rhythms. Although there are many additional things we are doing to help her, this toy was an important step in breaking through her fears. Playing with this toy seemed to embolden her, bringing out this sense of delight and play in her. In addition to an overall very high recommendation of this product for puppies in general, I would add a special recommendation for special needs or rescue puppies as a possible tool to help initial bonding to the owner and to help him/her break through their fears. We now order this product in multiple quantities so we can have one in every room!

I used to buy this toy at Petsmart for $5 each. All 3 labs and 2 peeks play with this toy constantly. They play with it until it is so gross I have to throw it out and give them a new one. I buy 10 at a time because this has been the favorite toy for all 6 for years and it NEVER gets old. I don't know if it is the color or shape but they are all crazy about it. Each will pick it up and just carry it around in their mouth forever. I am sitting here right now watching my black lab trying to get it to squeek over and over.

This toy is adorable, however, the day we received it both leaves fell right off the top...which to me is a chocking concern. If you're going to make a dog toy (and ours is not a huge chewer, they simply fell off while she was carrying the carrot around in her mouth by the leaves) you should make it sturdy! I would not suggest this dog toy.

Baby Shower Scratch & Win Game

My hostess used these at one of my baby showers. It was a very cute idea for an entrance/exit game or raffle prize, and everyone loves to play the lotto. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the silver covering you have to scrape off the card was really thick and sticky. You needed a coin versus just your fingernail and the left over silver residue got all over our hands and the table they were sitting on. Not a big deal if you plan ahead of time to do these on a disposable table cloth, etc. I just wouldn't hand them out for being to scrape off over their laps or clothes.

I hosted a baby shower for my sister and this was a big hit! Just remember to include the winning ticket if you use less than 12 tickets, or exclude duplicate winning tickets if you use more than 12.

Fisher-Price Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo Train

We love zoo talkers products in general...my kids got the zoo itself and the safari truck for Christmas. My daughter also loves trains so this seemed like a logical choice and she loves it! And the white tiger and koala are awesome! :)

I bought this for my 8-month old granddaughter. I was looking for things to keep her entertained

while sitting on the floor. It's hard to keep her still. It worked. She loved it immediately.

She danced to the music, loved grabbing the animals/people/wheels. She turned it over to examine

and pulled it apart. She liked watching me wheel it around and turning the ferris wheel. I recommend this toy.

I've bought several set of Fisher Price Little People over the years as gifts, and never been disappointed. I thought this gift would be a home run since it was Little People, animals and a train, but in this instance it wasn't as big of a hit as I thought it would be.

I didn't realize when I bought it that it is really meant to be a companion piece to the larger Zoo Talkers set. The quality of the set is Fisher Price, so it's cute, kids love the animals, the sounds and the colors, it's fairly durable and can withstand a lot of use, but unfortunately not all of the pieces make the noises like I thought they would since they were all sold together as a set. A big disappointment since the little one that I bought it for doesn't have the larger Zoo Talker set. I think this is basically a way for the toy manufacturer to sell more of both sets. Since the Zoo Talkers set doesn't have these animals included in the train set, but not all of the animals in the train set will work and make the sounds unless you have the larger Zoo set. I don't like that. I think that every piece sold with the set should work with the set without having to purchase another set to get them to work. This may be a way for them to try and sell more of everything, but instead it has made me a bit wary of buying more from them without checking online reviews first.

If you are looking for just a train, this might be fine but a little overpriced for what it does. If you have the larger Zoo Talkers set, I think you will probably really love it, but if you don't you may want to reconsider a different Little People set (like maybe the Farm).

My husband bought one of these at ToysRUs for our grandson's second birthday. What the product info doesn't tell you is that the sounds you get don't go with the animals that come with the train. You just get generic zoo sounds, played along with a very loud and annoying instrumental tune. Luckily, I had time to look for something else, and could return the FP zoo train. I ordered the iPlay Funtime Tractor from amazon, and it's a great toy!!!! My grandson loves it, and it has some educational value, unlike this zoo train.

If you're shopping for a toddler, you might want to see this zoo train IN PERSON before you buy it, to avoid having to return it. I wish that Fisher Price would reissue its original circus train: no batteries, just a handsome locomotive with a horn to push, and several great train cars to hitch and unhitch. The animals that came with the original circus train were posable and sturdy, and didn't look like blobs of plastic, which is what the present FP zoo animals look like.

This is our 2nd Zoo Talkers Toy. We also have the larger Zoo playset. This makes a nice complementary item to the larger set although you do not need to have both. I have two young children and I find my less active, more imaginative child enjoys playing with Zoo Talkers. There is not a lot of fancy things to it. You have your animals, the train, the Ferris wheel. The animals "talk" when you place them in the Ferris wheel. Of course your children are going to want to place every small toy they own in the Ferris wheel and they all won't talk but still fun to spin things around. You can order more animals to go with this, for more of the "talking" fun if that's what your kids enjoy. Mine could care less about that part at their young age (2.5 and 1). They are more into make the train go places and spinning the Ferris wheel around.

Taggies Buddy Dog Chime Ball

This ball is a great size and the chime noise is just right. Not annoying and my daughter loved hers so I thought I'd pick one up for my soon to be son. Can't wait to use it! Love taggies!! Soooo soft!

My son LT absolutely loves this taggies dog chime ball. He is currently 5-months old and loves tugging on the attached multi-colored ribbons, which eventually makes their way to his mouth. Sometimes, he lays calmly on his back just touching and feeling the ribbons and gently stroking them against his face. When on tummy-time, he often reaches for the ball and attempts to tug on one of its ribbonsit certainly encourages crawling and he tends to forget he's on his tummy!
