Mini Tinkle Crinkle 8 inch - Primary Colors

We received this toy as a hand-me-down from another mother of twins when our boys were infants, but around six months of age is when they really discovered it. It wasn't available on Amazon or anywhere else at that time, and unfortunately we only had one, so they had to share it. I ended up just buying the larger version so they would each have one (which is actually the one pictured in the "customer images" section), but it wasn't as popular and was rarely played with.

I think the attraction is that it fits perfectly in a child's grasp. Both boys just loved holding it, and periodically giving it a shake to hear the rattle. It is such a simple thing-literally just a soft rattle about six or eight inches long-but it was their absolute favorite toy from ages 6-12 months. They fought over it constantly.

It's made of a soft plush, very durable, and held up beautifully to multiple machine washings (my sons chewed on it constantly and it held up to that, too).

If you only buy one rattle, this is the one you want. It provided hours of contentment on car trips, and was indispensible at bedtime. I just wish I'd had two. Again, just keep in mind that it is very small. If you want the larger one shown in the customer images section; that one is about 20 inches long (I'm going on memory for both, since we no longer have either of them) and costs around $10. I'm stocking up on them now, so I have them on hand for future baby gifts.

crinkle? i must be missing something...this toy does NOT "crinkle". it has a small rattle, which is fine but it is not what i thought I was buying. I thought it was actually one of the crinkle-noise toys. My granddaughter has a crinkle book which she loves so I ordered this Mini Tinkle Crinkle. But, alas, there is no "crinkling' in this one. Am actually curious as to why it was even has the work "crinkle" in it's name,

The mini tinkle crinkle is the perfect toy for my little man! He is the third little boy in my family to fall in love with the worm! I bought extras just in case he looses it!!!! Best car toy/ chewy ever!!!!!

I originally wanted the larger version of this worm, but I'm actually glad I got this one instead. It's the perfect size for my 6-month-old to grab on to. The rattle in the tail end provides enough amusement, teaching babies cause and effect. The head and the tail are very chewable, great for teething babies. The colors are nice and bright as well. Recommended for all babies!

I'd been looking for baby gifts on Amazon to include in a package I was sending to my brother and sister-in-law a while back to congratulate them on the birth of their 5th, and this little guy looked so adorable (and reasonably priced just a little over $6 including shipping, and Gund is such a quality brand) that I couldn't resist... but they live out of town so I was a little disappointed I didn't get to see it (though they did tell me how cute it was.) I remembered it when I was trying to find something cute to put into a Halloween bag for my 7 month old grandson last week, and went ahead and ordered another one. Oh my gosh it is just TOO cute! Perfect size for his little hand to wrap around and hold, and so soft! The rattle is in its tail, and its face is so sweet I'll definitely be ordering more of these in the future to include with baby gifts, and if the recipients are in town, it will be an adorable topper for a larger gift, tied in place with some colorful curling ribbons. As my grandson gets older, it'll be one more item to teach colors with I know it'll be a favorite.
