My parents got this for my 2 year old, since every time he talks to them on the phone he asks for a tractor ride. We only use this inside, and for that its perfect. The assembly took about 15 minutes, including decal application. I think its a sturdier plastic than similar ride-on toys we've tried.

My 8 month old wore this for almost 5 hours and was as happy as could be in it. She loved to flap the gloved flipper hands. The separate headpiece was comfy and roomy enough to layer a hooded sweatshirt underneath. I would say it was true to size. We purchased a size larger than needed to make it right for layering clothes underneath. The fabric is only medium weight and is ultra soft. It is actually a bit slick so had to be extra careful when holding her not to lose our grip. We received many compliments that it was one of the cutest infant costumes they had seen. I believe this was a good purchase. The greens and pattern of the fabric were well done and look even better than the product photo. The turtle shell is thick and cushiony.

This costume is so cute and my toddler loves it. However it is made of thin material that makes it appear cheap. The head was a bit large and the turtle's nose was a little uneven. I thought about returning but once I put it on my toddler he looked adorable! So I just hand sewed the nose and neck straps and the costume was perfect! I will just add some sweats underneath for trick or treating.

Lamaze Mittens The Kitten Cloth Book

I've never purchased a Lamaze cloth book product before, but the photos of the items available are so colorful, and the cloth books looked well constructed. I'm glad I went ahead and ordered. The colors in person are amazing and draw baby's attention to them. The raised reliefs on certain portions of the photos are an interesting addition and the baby just loves to finger them, as if it is soothing to do so as he watches TV and hugs the cloth book. Yes, very well constructed of a slightly satiny material. Love it, as does the baby! I'll be back to get more.

This was my first Lamaze purchase. My book came from the UK and I was amazed how fast I received my book. It was shipped right away with free shipping and I received the book at least two weeks earlier than promised. The kitten's head on the cover is puffy and is the most interesting part of the book because it makes the crinkly sound when touched. The book itself has no words, but each page is very colorful and self explanatory. On each page there is one thing that has a different texture for the baby or child to touch. You have a fish, chair, milk, flower, dog, butterfly, moon, and a ball of yarn with a texture that represents that object. The binding and handle is a soft satin that a young child would enjoy touching. In fact all the pages are very soft to the touch. A very cute book of a curious kitten.

Combi BPA Free Teether

This Combi teether (8 month) is a sturdy well-made toy in nice, modern, colors, and is BPA-free too. It's surprisingly lightweight, allows you to thread a pacifier-holder ribbon through so it doesn't drop on the floor and comes in a clear, hard-plastic 'bubble' for keeping it clean..and that's where the positives end. The teether is advertised as being made especially great for back teeth/emerging molars, but the four 'tabs' that stick out are far too short to reach! My then-9-month old tried in vain to jam it in his mouth to alleviate his teething pain, but it just didn't reach. In addition, only 2 of the 4 pieces that jut out are even usable! I have absolutely no idea why the design team put the 2 'support pillars' right under 2 of the tabs instead of strategically placed in between them, but that automatically cancels out their effectiveness as they barely have room to be nibbled on with front teeth! DESIGN FAIL! Even now at 14 months, he'll occasionally give the teether another shot but I can almost see the disgust in his eyes when he quickly realizes it's a sham. The rattle too is a joke. The few miniscule beads in the underside are barely loud enough to make noise, let alone entertain/distract a child; something I look for in toys because one toy that does at least two jobs is a godsend to parents who need to `buy a little time' and keep a baby entertained just a bit longer..

A re-design would definitely help this teether accomplish what it set out to do-calm molars in an effective way while looking good at the same time!

The little teething nub on this is so small. My son hardly ever put it in his mouth, he simply enjoyed shaking it like a rattle because it has little beads inside. I thought it was a cool idea, but it wasn't a hit like I had hoped...

My daughter chews on everything but these Combi Teethers are made for the size of your baby. She can easily hold them and they fit her mouth. They also have little beads in them that rattle around. My 6.5 month old loves this teether. He sits back, holds it, turns it around in his mouth, chews it. He chews everything, but aside from the toys on his excersaucer, and the tubing on his breathing tube, I think this is his favorite. He even holds it himelf, instead of expecting me to. He has 5 teeth already, and it seems to be a really nice texture for teeth. He never really liked the refrigerated kind of teether, and the vibrating kind only so-so. The yellow bump parts can go on his tongue, and don't gag him, or he cam put them to the side by where his molars will probably go. He really chomps on it to. It looks like he has a giant wad of gum in his mouth. Then sometimes he bites down then pulls on it. Lots of different ways. It seems like he is practicing biting and chewing.

The only thing I might be concered about is the spot where the little beads are, because there are holes in the plastic, so if you don't keep it clean, I wonder if it would get gross in there.

This teether works great for babies of all ages. It is especially good for younger babies due to it's small size.

My son has been using this teether since he was about 3 months old and absolutely loves it. He's able to easily hold and manipulate it on his own. He can reach both his front and his back teeth with it.

The orange part of the teether is appximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The yellow nubs are approximately 1 inch. The opening in the center is approximately 1 1/2 inches.

The only thing I don't like about this teether is the rattle. There are two small holes on the bottom of the rattle. Water gets into these holes when I clean the teether and is very difficult to get the water back out creating a potential breeding ground for mold. If your baby chews on this part of the teether then the rattle can also fill up with drool which is very difficult to clean out. I check this part of the teether frequently to make sure there is no mold developing.

Jr. Airline Pilot, size 6 to 12 Months,

Our first grandchild, a boy, is due in a month. Our now-rotund daughter is married to an airline pilot, so my 80-something year old mother-in-law wanted to give them an airline pilot's outfit at the baby shower, and it was up to me to find it. I was a bit hesitant on this one, since it is listed as a "costume," remembering some less-than-comfortable Halloween costumes from earlier days, but this seems to be very nice quality and quite comfortable. Time will tell whether the young lad likes it as much as all the ladies at the baby shower did (they adored it) but I know my mother-in-law likes it, so that's always good I haven't always done good things in her eyes (I did steal her daughter away, after all).

Will make a great Halloween outfit. Needs a hat to go along with it. Price was very good. Helps to make this time special.

Fisher-Price Little Superstar Bop 'n Beats Drum Set

I thought this would be a great toy, I mean, a drum set for a baby. But this just isn't a drum set, it is a badly designed hard plastic toy that makes noise. And half the time it doesn't even make drum like sounds but sings for you. Or yells at you. I mean, hit that plastic drum and half the time it will sing for you "babadoo ba ba ba". Common. That is just simply dumb. If there had been a button for the toy so that it only made drum sound in mode one and did this stupid singing/yelling in the mode two I might have liked it a little better. Or make more parts that do the yelling if you so wish. But the "beebeede beebabooo Yeahh" is even irritating to my seven month old. This could so easily have been a great toy. I thought more highly of Fisher Price than this. Slight modifications on the sound would have made it nicer and make some of the hard plastic soft (for my teething 7 month old). And why not have more parts that move and rattle to make sounds on their own, what is wrong with that? As is it is not a very nice toy. I was so disappointed!

I purchased this for my daughter after my husband saw it in a store (he's a musician) and my daughter was thrilled with it immediately (5.5 months old then.) She "got it" right away and never seems to tire of it. I was pleased with the sturdy construction and the dual volumes. I like that it plays both scats, and each instrument individually. It's bright, colorful, and I love that all the pieces have smiling faces, as babies really identify and enjoy faces on EVERYTHING. This was well worth the money and I have recommended it to many other mom's in my online groups. It's a great toy!

UPDATE: My daughter is now 15 months old and still plays with this toy. I just wanted to add that it is still going strong and holds her interest.

Got this as a gift for my daughter this past Christmas. I know, I know, if it's enjoyable for baby it shouldn't matter to dad, but I was hoping that there would be more musical features with this toy (I have to agree with reviewer Sigrun Hreinsdottir, the scatting "biddabeebopbopboo" is a tad irritating) and my daughter only plays with it sporadically, it doesn't really hold her interest. If there's one toy I would recommend it would be the LeapFrog Learn & Groove Musical Table, I got this for her last Christmas and she STILL enjoys playing with it (I'll be writing a separate review for that, but let me say beforehand that I do highly recommend it). In all fairness to this product, my nephews seem to enjoy it.

My Pal Al Multi Sensory Baby Learning Toy

My son is 4 1/2 months old. I just got this for him a short time ago. For the moment, he's mainly trying to either hug or eat it. He loves it though. He plays with the different sections. He really likes the textures and sounds it makes. I think in another couple of weeks, it'll be even more popular.

My pal Al has become a favorite stuffed toy for our active 6 month old. The colors, sounds and textures keep him interested often for a half hour at a time, and the body is a great size for him to hold. The seams are strong, and the limbs seem secure. My only complaint is that the toy is not more compact. It is very long, which makes it difficult to throw in the diaper bag or bring in the stroller.

WOW Fireboat Felix - Bath Toys (2 Piece Set)

We have been very happy with this product line over all. Our grandson (20 mos.) loves the plane and fire engine. The boat, however, doesn't float in the bath very well tends to flip more easily than it floats. The squirting feature is ok but not enough to make it a good bath toy.

My 3 year old grandson likes it very much. It's really much more than a bath toy. He plays with it outside, I guess cleaning would be in line for bathtub toy fun.

PARENTS OF YOUNG TODDLERS WITH TEETH --BEWARE OF THIS TOY!!

Edushape Ltd's Chubby EduBlocks are extremely unsafe for the young age group they are marketed toward, and I feel their current availability to children as young as 6 months needs to be swiftly addressed by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) before any children become ill or die after choking on or swallowing the foam that the blocks are made from. This is a seriously dangerous toy when used by the age group it is designed for!

The Edushape Ltd's Chubby EduBlocks are multi-color, larger-size, stacking foam blocks made in China that the manufacturer recommends as a safe toy for children 6 months and up. We received the Chubby EduBlocks as a Christmas gift for my 17 month old daughter and we had this toy in our home for a little over a week and a half before she chewed off the tip of a block and ingested an undetermined amount of the smelly colored foam yesterday. This incident happened in less than 5 minutes, and occurred while I was in the room with her.

She was sitting on the couch, playing with one red Chubby EduBlock, and I turned my back on her briefly to put a DVD on the TV for her. While I put the movie on, she proceeded to chew off several pieces of varying sizes of the foam block tip before I understood what was occurring. I have documented in a separate photograph the size of some of the red foam pieces I removed from her mouth and found scattered in her lap, but several of the chewed-off foam pieces were about half of an inch in length, certainly large enough for a younger child to choke on. My daughter thankfully did not choke on the foam, but I believe she ingested one or several of the small foam pieces before I identified their source and was able to clear her mouth of foam and take the toy away from her.

Generally speaking, we exercise much caution before introducing a new toy to our beloved baby, and this toy seemed to be safe enough at first glance since the blocks are soft and are marketed as both educational and non-toxic. I trusted that ASTM safety standards had been considered and I also assumed that the foam had been tested during manufacturing and was strong enough not to crumble or break into bits in a child's hand or mouth. In retrospect, I see I should have done more research before trusting my daughter with an Edushape toy, since many may recognize the Edushape Ltd. name as the same one that also distributed the 18,000 units of "Mini Stars Building Sets" that had to be recalled in July of 2011 because of similar choking hazards. I additionally have read that 40 units of Snap Beads distributed by Edushape in 2009 were also recalled by the Chinese manufacturer, Xiamen Xinlu Machinery Co., Ltd.

I see now that ANY young child with teeth can easily chew off and either choke on or ingest the foam tip from an Edushape Chubby EduBlock, and I am astounded that this product was ever considered "safe" by anyone in the industry in the first place! ...Especially given this company's poor track record with recalled toys! On top of the severe choking and ingestion hazard the foam poses, the blocks also have a distinctly chemical smell. Exactly what chemicals are in this foam product now that my 25lb daughter is at work digesting them? I recommend the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) investigate with serious scrutiny any and all materials data Edushape Ltd and their Chinese manufacturer can provide, because these blocks stink badly of chemicals, and they were ingested very quickly by my daughter.

I am currently in dialogue with Jeff Malmud, Edushape Ltd. USA's National Sales Manager to resolve our issue with the return of this defective or thoughtlessly designed toy. He has been very gracious with the return of this item which was originally purchased through amazon.com as a gift.

K's Kids Jumbo Go Go Go Toy

I didn't listen to all the reviews I read regarding this toy. I just had to buy it and now I am living with the remorse and disappointment. My child is bored to death and it's unstable. First the 'see me' mirror is that plastic stuff that distorts so you really can't 'see' anything but a blur. Second the 'key' can be turned by a baby but it won't get the sounds and lights to work, as it requires nearly sub-human strength by an adult, not to mention coordination. Third if your baby likes to 'move and groove' there's no back support so they can flip right out the back. It's cute, but a complete waste of money.

My infant likes to have this soft place to sit, and watch...and I don't worry about him tipping OVER. The Toddler sits in it whenever he isn't in there....and sometimes even tries to while he is. She plays with the car ignition, and dances to the songs, and honks the horn...which are not very loud or annoying. Just musical.

I read all the reviews and was on the fence about ordering based on the last negative review. But I really wanted this car and I am really glad I ordered it...I LOVE IT! My 7 month old grandson loves it. The key is a simple turn and it makes the car starting up noise and music plays. The horn is an easy tap--no superhuman strength needed here. If someone had problems with it, it was a malfunction and should have exchanged the item. This company has excellent customer service. I received the car within 3 days of ordering it. If your baby can't sit upright on the floor, then you should wait before putting them in this car. It is not made to support them from falling. While the car is a little on the expensive side, it is absolutely durable, colorful, and a big soft pillow for the baby to climb in and out of without harsh edges or toppling over like his other plastic toys. I love hearing his laughter as he climbs in and out of it. He's having a ball! See above picture, Tristan's New Car. I am sure he will get a lot of use out of it. K's Kids are great toys!!!

This was one of our 4 month daughter's favorite Christmas presents. She loves to sit in it and look around at us. Her Dad also shakes the car and makes Vroom noises, which she thinks is hysterical. She is able to make the horn blow by herself, but she needs help to turn the key in the ignition. Once we do though, she smiles at the lights and the music. Great for a baby who loves sitting up (like ours).

I like this music box very much, and the music sounds good. However, I could not make it rotate automatically until now. There is no instruction about how it works. I can only make it give sound by rotating it with my hand, and now it is locked in the drawer.... Who can help me with it?

Toddlerz Toddlin' Tunes Puppy

This is a fun little dog. My daughter is only 10 months old but she loves to listen to me play it, and also to bang on the keys herself. Of course she eats the mallet more than she uses it to hit the xylophone part, but that is to be expected. I'm not sure why it says 3-5 years. I guess that's how old you have to be to play actual songs, but even my little one loves the instant gratification of poking the keys and getting a sound. It is nice to be able to watch her pick one sound and notice that it is different than the sound made by the next key.

My boys have fun with this toy, but the string that holds the little bone shaped mallot isn't long enough. My almost 3 year old gets annoyed with it because he can't reach the other end of the keys with the mallot. Plus, he wants badly to drag it behind him and watch the puppy's tail move, but it's not long enough for him to stand up and pull it behind him. Both of my boys (the youngest is 11 months) have fun banging away on the keys. It's fun to listen to their "songs"!

This toys caught my eye when I was at a children's birthday party. With Christmas around the corner, I felt this would be an excellent gift for my 10 mo. old grandchild. It's colorful,fun, and easy to play. The little dog is so cute. His tale wags as he's pulled along!

I was disappointed to see that this toy did not have a one octave scale, if it did I would give it a glowing review even though the string is too short but you can easily fix that. I work with two year old children with developmental delays and I know that they enjoy singing along and pretending to play simple tunes on a xylophone which you cannot do on this toy. If I had known that it did not have 8 keys I would not have bought it. I think for the price it sells for, it could have had two more notes.

Mover Baby Walker Natural

We love the Moover. We purchased another walker first but it was too hard for our son to stay on his feet while pushing it. He was constantly falling forward because the walker moved too quickly. You can adjust the tension on the Moover's wheels so we could slow it down when he was first learning to walk. He's walking on his own now but he likes to use the Moover as a cart. It's proven to be durable. My son dropped a canned good on it from a few feet up and I expected to find a crack in the cart where it landed but the Moover held up. Other things we like: natural wood, sturdy construction, "bumpers" on the wheels (prevents scratches on walls/baseboards), and it's easy to assemble.

Disney Baby Minnie Infant / Toddler Costume

I have never written a review before, but wanted to after reading the reviews before I bought this costume. It seemed most people were complaining about the size... but it fit my 18-month old daughter perfectly. She's in the 50th percentile for height and weight, and the costume fit like a glove. It wasn't tight on her arms at all (didn't even leave marks or anything) and I didn't have to cut it. It did differ slightly from the picture, but was super cute anyways. Everyone loved it on her. I googled the costume before purchasing and one of the halloween sites that had the costume had a size chart posted. I would recommend checking that out before buying, just to be sure about the size... but it fit my daughter and she looked great.

Also, it was only one piece... so if you are planning on having your little one in the costume for any length of time, diaper changes might be difficult. Since we were only using it for trick-or-treating, it wasn't an issue.

I was very upset when receiving this costume!! It looked NOTHING like the picture!!! No hood, short sleeved, very cheap. Now I have to find something else for my 5 month old in 3 weeks and have the hassle of sending it back.

The qulity was not as good as the disney store, however; it was slightly cheaper. my 1 year old daughter looked very cute and recived many compliments. I would reccomend this product, and company.

My 18 month old daughter was very uncomfortable in this outfit. I cut the elastic on the arms for extra room, but the material was still too scratchy. I thought it ran really small, as she is very petite as it is. The price and look were great, but not practical for a young toddler.
