I bought this toy for my 7.5 month old because she likes to bang her toys together...I thought this little drum would be perfect for her and she'd enjoy hitting the balls with the hammer. There is no way a baby or toddler could hit these balls down into the drum. I had a hard time doing it myself. Returning it back to the store.
My son loves this toy. He doesn't use the hammer. He loves to shake it, take the balls in and out of the compartment, and play with the balls. Also, they get much easier to hammer once it has been used a lot.

i got it as a gift and thought that it would be perfect for my 1 yr old son but its too hard to tap the balls down in the drum i have to hit it really hard to get them down dont waste ur money on this
