I bought this book for my twin grandchildren (now 9 months old). The four pages for photos were just right for mommy, daddy, and one for each baby. Of course, the book goes in their mouths first. They do turn the pages and look at the photos. I think that they will discover how to remove the photos from under the plastic page soon.I bought this for a class project, not a baby/child. Note that there is no velco to close the photo pocket so I'm thinking any child with a pincer grasp could get the photos out. Also, it's a tight fit for 4x6 photos.
Most of all, the colors are not a vibrant as shown online. But overall, awesome product. We bought this for our grandson when we went away on a trip so he would remember us when we got back. I wanted something very sturdy, but not plastic. The colors and designs are engaging, and you can put good sized pictures in it. He has always seemed to enjoy this a great deal. This is the perfect first picture album! Even without pictures it captured my 5 month old's attention and she is so happy when it is in her hands. Her favorite part is the tag of course! The bright happy faces and patterns are great and it is a great way to help babies establish recognition of family and friends who they may not see every day. It is a little spendy but worth the money in my opinion. I even put it through the wash (prior to pictures being put in) and it came out fine (skipped the dryer though).
