I was doubtful when this came. The beads felt like plastic to me. I tried it on our baby though and she has been wearing it for months.

When we started using it she was drooling a full bib's size worth of soaked shirt multiple times a day. We saw an immediate reduction in her drooling. The few times I've taken it off (we don't let her wear it in the bath) and forgotten to put it back on we've noticed it's missing when we pick her up and her shirt is soaked with drool.

It hasn't hurt her, and it seems to have helped her, and we like the look of it.

Shame on me for not reading the dimensions, but I thought I was getting a "lovie" for an infant, maybe 12" square. This is more like an infant area rug! Product confusion aside, I do love this thing as a baby play mat. It is so very soft and cute. The back of the giraffe is soft and plush, while the underside is silky. Baby can play with the ears and "horns" during tummy time. Throw it in the wash if it gets dirty. I think I will get more use out of this than what I actually thought I was buying...

This blanket is so perfect! Super great quality and my son now has 2! One for home and one for Grammies house. He loves it and it covers his pillow perfect for bed time. He loves to have it layed over his pillow to cuddle with it. He and I truly love this great little blanky!

I don't know why Amazon has this come up with a toy review, but this is not a toy. It's a party decoration. As such, it is fine. It is easy to assemble, just fold and insert a few tabs. They stay independently. I used mine indoors only. And they added a lot of color with little effort and money. They lasted through the party and I was able to reflatten them and save them. I can't remember if I needed to use tape to secure them.

I bought this as a gift for our niece my goal was to find the most annoying toy on the market. I think it worked. It is NOT a toy I would purchase for my own home as it can get on your nerves quickly, but it does entertain our 1 year old niece and it would work as a great gag gift and/or gift from grandparents meant to annoy the baby's parents :)

While these blocks are at the higher end of the price scale they are worth every penny. I bought my 18 month old son two sets and they are extremely well made. The wood is a high quality. There are no rough edges as I've seen on some wooden blocks. The paint is durable and can withstand everyday abuse from toddlers. So far no chips. Each one is a little piece of art and different in it's own way. From metallic paint to bells, pearls and mirrors, each one is unique and offers a different element to playtime. These will stand the test of time and I intend to pass them on to my grandchildren. I am looking forward to buying more sets in the future.

My daughter has these and I bought these as a gift for a friend's 2 year old. My daughter has been playing with these since she was 2 and she's now 5! Amazing what you can do with 10 blocks if you have a good imagination.

I have bought HABA block sets for gifts for years and each time someone opens it there are great compliments on the style and uniqueness......and I know that they are very well made in Germany and will definately be something that can be handed down to the next generation. These blocks are really colorful and fun. The different shapes make creating towers super creative and interesting. My son got them for his first birthday and all he did was chew on them, but now he's almost two and loves stacking them. We keep these in a bowl on our kitchen table and adults even like to play with them when we're just hanging out. Love these and plan to order more Haba blocks!!
