I bought this for my 12mo old and he won't touch it. The slide is short so his legs hit the floor while his bum is still at the top, so there isn't much "sliding". He loves any kinda of ball and the basketball is perfect size for his little hands, so he throws it around all the time. The attached baseball is sorta heavy and the blue handle/stem is starting to bend and stretch. That is just from it hanging because he doesn't play with that since it won't bounce or roll. I imagine it will break soon.
It's cute and good idea, but it is smaller than I expected and not the big hit with my son I hoped it would be.

I saw the manufacturer's recommended age of up to 5 years on Amazon when I bought this to my 18 months old kid. I thought she would have a lot of sliding before she outgrows this toy. She hardly can slide even at her age now, the slide is about as long as her leg (she is taller than average, but I don't see any kid over 24 months sliding on this toy). what was Step 2 thinking when they recommend this for up to 5 years? For some reason, my daughter seems to like it and kept her busy for quite a while, so I decided to keep it. However, it won't be long before she completely outgrows it. the other sport activities on the side are nearly useless. For a toy listed over $60, Step 2 should consider an adjustable slide to include kids older that 2. As it is right now, I do not recommend this slide for age 2 or above. So, consider how long your kid will have before it outgrows this toy and decide if it is worth it.I bought this for my son's first birthday. It is so small, like 6 inches off the ground. His feet hit the ground on the slide when he sits at the top of it. He uses it more to climb on top and stand on. The baseball is not high enough off the ground to actually swing at it. You would swing like it is a golf club its so low. Wouldn't have bought if I knew it was so tiny.
