The 10-page board book features a simple story involving an airplane and a car. It doesn't have detailed instructions for building since there are only a few pieces, but it does show pictures of how the airplane and car should be assembled. The pieces in the book are to-scale (actual size), so it may be easier for little kids to understand how the pieces fit together.
This is one of three available sets in the Bricks & Books collection as of this review (November, 2012). The other two sets are "Busy Farm" (LEGO DUPLO 6759 Busy Farm) with 15 pieces and "Grow Caterpillar Grow!" (LEGO DUPLO 6758 Grow Caterpillar Grow) with 17 pieces. "Let's Go! Vroom!" has only 12 pieces, but it has a car which is a pretty cool piece.
The quality is great, as you would expect from Lego. A retail price of $12.99 is a bit high for 12 pieces, but part of that price is for the book. If you prefer bricks, then there are other sets (without the book) that are a better value. If you are interested in the book, this is a very cute set.
Now that my preschooler has played with it a few times, I think the novelty has worn off. As expected, the pieces to this set have now been comingled with her other Duplo pieces and the book sits on her bookshelf. Still, it's a cute set that should entertain your child for some time. It was a very nice gift to receive, and I would consider buying it as a gift for another 2-3 year old. This was very fun for my 3 year old the first couple times we did it, but after that, he was tired of the story, and enjoyed just playing with the blocks by themselves.

My son is 2 and loves these he can build the cars and it is not too difficult. Would recommend this productMy Grandson loves legos, he loves to build and knock down so it provides him hours of fun, just a good toy to learn withBought this for my 1 year old. He likes playing with the pieces. We still need to put together for him. However, the two year old girl I watch during the day, loves to build them according to the story. This is our second Read & Build set. They are a great toy.
