my son just doesn't get it. we have had it since he was 3 months and he is now 11 months. I bought it because I thought he would like to chew on the antena. But he has maybe once.It is really well made, nice materials an had crinkley leaves and a bell. It has held up to numerous washings (he has spit up on it quite a few times) and still looks brand new. No fading or pilling. I would reccomend trying it out. It does look fun and anything haba is GREAT
