Fisher-Price Rainforest Nest 'n Play Animals

Fisher-Price Rainforest Nest 'n Play AnimalsThese are really cute, but lack much function. I am all for children using their imagination in play, but if one is going to buy a "toy" it should offer some interactive ability. It is too bulky for the assigned age group, the baby cannot grip the nesting box pieces to put them together and having a parent do it doesn't making it any move exciting. A much better toy for the 46 month and up age is the Tiny Love Musical Stack & Play.

I understand the reviews from others about these nest-n-play animals. They are very soft, so I can see how it may be difficult for a very small child to be able to get them to stack properly. I actually ordered them because I was thinking of using them to organize various items (like diaper cream, powder, etc.) in the nursery. I may be able to use the largest for this purpose, but not the other two. The picture (even with the baby) makes them look larger than they are.

Buy Fisher-Price Rainforest Nest 'n Play Animals Now

This was the first toy (other than plush animals) I bought for my baby, who was around 3 months old at the time. It was one of the few toys I could find for that age. When it arrived, I was sort of unimpressed. But over time (the baby is now 8 months old), this toy has grown on both of us.

It is true, as others have said, there's not much to do here. The nesting function is still beyond my child's awareness so he pretty much just grabs the boxes and holds them. The largest one, the elephant, is definitely the favorite. It has an appealing face, crinkly ears, a ribbon for hair, and 3D butterflies sewn onto the sides. Baby just seems drawn to the sweetness of the largest block.

The tiny purple monkey doll that fits into the smallest block seemed kind of like a throwaway added-on accessory to me, but the baby sometimes will play with that thing for 30 min or more. It is nice to watch him just study it and take comfort in it.

Now with the baby a little bit older, we also use the largest block as a holder for the baby's Peek-a-Blocks and he enjoys removing them one-by-one. We also use the largest elephant block as a HAT! And that is probably the most fun of all. It is hilarious.

Recommended because it's simple, cute, inexpensive, doesn't make noise, and as he ages, the baby develops different ways to enjoy the simple pleasure that can be found here.

My baby loves this toy. He has since he was about 10 weeks old. He first started out swatting the faces which make either krinkle or rattle noises. The heads of the zebra and lion flip over. He loves to flip them around. The boxes are soft and light. He will pick them up and bring them to his mouth. I like to unstack the three boxes and put them in a semi circle around him. He independently plays with them for up to 30 minutes which is a long time for a baby that's not quite 3 months old. He verbalizes a lot when these toys are out. We've gotten much more response out of this simple colorful toy than anything else.

These are cute and colorful. He likes to put other things in the blocks too. The one thing I'm not sure of is washing. The box says nothing about it. I'm worried that they might not hold their shape in the washer, because they are soft.

Fisher-Price Go Baby Go! Cruise-Around Activity Lion

Fisher-Price Go Baby Go! Cruise-Around Activity LionMy daughter just turned 10-months and she's been climbing and standing up on me but there really wasn't a place that was suitable in our home. The couches are over tile and our baby's play area didn't have anything for her to practice standing or cruising. I read reviews for other toys and most were mixed "a door the trapped fingers", "tipped over", "slid on the floor", "not entertaining", etc. When this was released even without the reviews I bought it for my daughter and I was very surprised and happy over this purchase. It doesn't slide on the carpet or a thin rug. The feet that come with it are wide and provide traction, so it's never slid even when she leans with all her body weight on it. It's never tipped over. She's able to lean and pull on the toy with all her weight while standing and SITTING down. There are no parts that with trap or pinch her fingers. I would only change the color of the ball underneath, since it's clear it's not as noticable next to the yellow of the toy unless she's crawling up to it. I also wish there were noise makers on the top (currently they're on the side). Otherwise great toy if your child is standing-cruising-sitting down.

I just got this for my son and right out of the box the eyes were half rubbed off. I debated just returning it but decided that besides being a complete hassle, my 7 month old probably wouldn't care about that anyway. So I put it together which was fairly easy and then put it on the floor for my son to play with. He absolutely loves his Stride to Ride Lion which looks similar so I figured he would love this as well. Now, while he may like this toy "okay", I have to say that I do not think it is worth the price. The spinning ball on the top doesn't spin easily, the lights and sounds are nothing spectacular and I don't know why the green and red button-things on the top are there since they just go up and down. Overalll I think this toy is pretty boring and simple and feel that it is definately not going to be enough to keep my son's attention.

Buy Fisher-Price Go Baby Go! Cruise-Around Activity Lion Now

That is the reason behind buying this toy. Our baby is at the stage where she seeks to find something, anything to pull up with. The problem is that we have few things in the house for that and it all leads to landing on a concrete floor. This lion can sit on our cushioned rug area and does not slip.

I luv how there are many areas of interest to keep the little one busy when standing up gets tiring after a while. The ball hanging under the lion bridge is especially entertaining since it makes a noise when hit.

The eye of our lion was partially rubbed out (looks to be a common issue).. bad packaging if you ask me, but easily fixed with a permanent black marker.

All in all, good purchase and does what it says.

P.S. there is volume control on the toy.. awesome feature! The lion's laugh sounds too much like Barney but more annoying.

My son started pulling up on the furniture at 5 months. He isn't ready to walk yet but needed something other than the TV stand for support. This is awesome! It is not mobile so you don't have to worry about it moving. Now at 6 months it supports his 18 pound frame. It is entertaining to him. Teaches cause and effect. He loves it, I love it. A reviewer said it was too short. My son is 26 3/4 inches and it is the perfect height. I would suggest for a kid that is mobile but not ready to walk.

When I bought this toy, my baby was would sit and play. Now she can hold on to the toy, standup by herslef and play. she loves playing with this toy. she is able to operate/navigate all the items...the rollers, flower, etc, except the lady bug. She finds it hard to move it up and down. But I am sure, soon she will be able to enjoy that too.

Only one con though would be to some how have grip on the paws so that it doesnot slide away on the floor. It doesnot have good grip, so always make sure that is it resting against the wall or couch. I always keep an eye on my baby to make sure she doesn't fall.

Boikido Wooden Musical Blocks 12 Pc Set

Boikido Wooden Musical Blocks 12 Pc SetAlthough the Boikido musical blocks are well-made and colorful, I was disappointed that they were not more musical. We have plastic building blocks with pellets in them and our 9-month-old granddaughter loves to shake them and make noise, so I thought musical blocks would be perfect for her. However, not only are the Boikido blocks not particularly musical, they don't even make very interesting sounds. Had I known that in advance, I wouldn't have purchased them.

Like the big set this has fun whimsical pieces that are a great size for toddler and preschooler play.

I wouldn't really call it a musical set, a better description would be noise makers and it is really only like 4 or five pieces that make noise.

I would imagine that if you bought this as a stand alone expecting musical interaction you may be disappoined.

I am rating mine as an add on to the bigger set whith no big expectations on the "musical" factor.

Both my 1 and 2 year old love these blocks. The bright colors and sounds really keep them engaged. Having different shapes really makes them think. I think this set is a perfect starter set for toddlers.

I like how the blocks are wooden, but painted with pretty a various colors. I love how each block has a sound or something interesting inside it. I like that there are different shapes (circular, half circle) I'm sure they will be even more fun as my LO grows and can learn to stack them by herself instead of just knocking over my towers. =) But, she likes to hold them and shake them. (she is 7 months old)

I highly recommend this product!!

Kelsyus Water Hammock

Kelsyus Water HammockI was looking for a compact, portable floatation device on which to pleasantly drift around the pool. I saw someone using one of these collapsible hammocks, and it seemed like just the thing. The Kelsyus Floating Hammock is 66 x 40 inches (167 x 101 cm), collapses to a 19-inch (49 cm) disc, and inflates in 14 breaths. The outer, dark blue inflatable ring and pillow are made of a substantial nylon that seems pretty durable. The inner mesh, which suspends you partly submerged in the water, is a lightweight, light blue mesh. The pillow and outer ring inflate separately. Each takes me 7 puffs. If there is any difficulty, it's in punching the valve in quickly enough to seal it without letting air escape. But it takes no great time or effort to inflate the hammock. It won't leave you gasping for air.

The dark blue nylon is matte but looks a little slick when wet. The light blue meshing also covers the pillow on one side. I assume this is an attempt to keep the head rest dry. The pillow does keep my head comfortably out of the water at all times. When in the hammock, the top of my chest is out of the water, my midsection partly submerged, and legs slightly or mostly submerged depending on where I rest my feet (spread them apart for less submersion). This will be a matter of preference, but I would rather be submerged less. I'm also a lightweight person, 5'4" tall, so I'm not sure to what extent a heavier or taller person would be submerged in the water. A tall person's feet might dangle off the end. The instructions say the hammock will hold up to 250 pounds (113 kg).

The hammock is easy to get into and quite comfortable for floating around. It's a little difficult sometimes to get it to go where you want, or stop it from drifting where you don't want, as steering has to be done entirely with the arms. I don't find it quite as comfortable when lying on my stomach as on my back, and that position submerges me too much. I've been pleased with the hammock, though. It's a great alternative to lounging on a chair half the day, which can get pretty boring. You can feel the water and soak in the sun at the same time. I leave the hammock to dry in the sun, then deflate it, lie it flat, and fold it in thirds. If you do that, it collapses into a disc almost automatically. It packs into a round carrying case with handle that's easy to tote around.

I was lucky enough to try this product at a friend's pool one day, and decided I had to get one for our summer vacation on a lake. It is very easy to get on, unlike many other pool floats, and actually cradles you slightly below the surface of the water, allowing you to remain cool in the sun. Only the outside inflates, so even without a pump, it is easy to inflate. The center of the float is mesh, so aboout 3 inches of water envelopes you when you get in. It worked just as well on a lake as in the pool, and is highly recommended for comfortI had to fight the entire family for possession! Another great feature is that once the air is out, if folds up flat for easy carrying and storage. I am going to order more for my family's vacation next year....

Excellent product. I especially like the way it folds for carrying. We took it on a 9 hour flight with us to Aruba. It was easy to manage and store on the flight. In the surf of Aruba, it was perfect size for one grandma, one daughter, and two granddaughters to float the waves.

I bought this as a gift for my wife. She loves to lounge in the pool. This float allows the water to surround you and let's you sunbathe without getting too hot. You can deflate the pillow and fold it to take it with you. It's very lightweight, but pretty durable. You can use this even if you are over 200 pounds.

I purchased this float because I was going on a vacation in the Caribbean and the hotel where I stayed had a lazy river. The float came in a nice compact size and it easily fit in my suitcase for travel. It is extremely easy to inflate. I used the float in the pool and in the ocean and it worked great. Once I was done with the float, it easily collapsed and fit right back into it's carrying case with ease.

Playmobil 1.2.3 Farmer W/ Tractor

Playmobil 1.2.3 Farmer W/ TractorWe have a few of the playmobil 123 sets. The tractor is one of our 2yr old sons favorite. He pushes it around the floor and talks to the farmer and the cow. His animals from other sets get to ride in the trailer also. These have been stepped on and thrown across the room and they aren't scratched and so far nothing has broken. He does have trouble hooking the trailer to the tractor. I love how all the pieces are interchangeable with other sets. He has lots of toys but the playmobil sets are the ones he pulls out first.

My 15-month-old son loves this toy, it is durable, yet detailed unlike many of the toys for his age. He loves to take the cow in and out of the tractor and "drive" it all around the house. All playmobil toys are great, but if you are going for durability, Playmobil 1.2.3 is the way to go!

My 5 year old autistic son loves the playmobil 123 line. The tractor and trailer come apart and go together easily. And he loves the cow. Good buy for the money. My 2 year old daughter also enjoys the toy. My 5 year old is more into the advance playmobil...not this line.

My 5 and 4 year old love Playmobil products, but I was also very hesitant to let my 2 year old play because of the small pieces. Even the figures have small pieces and accessories that are easily removed. I recently purchased this tractor, the mom and stroller, and the animal train and they've been a big hit with my 2 year old. She now has her own Playmobil and can play right alongside brother and sister. The pieces are large and have no small pieces to remove. They're perfect for small hands. I've even caught my older kids getting into the "baby" Playmobil bucket. While Playmobil products are pricier than some of the alternatives, I have no problem with the higher price tag as the quality is fantastic. These toys are definitely the kind of thing you can pass down to future generations.

Smart Trike Zoo 3 in 1 Kids Tricycle

Smart Trike Zoo 3 In 1 CowI agree with the previous opinion that instructions are poorly done and it took me probably 30 min. to put it together, but there is a 3.5 min video on amazon check it out and you'll see it is not that hard.

When we go out my kid almost always chooses this bike over stroller or car (Step 2 Whisper Ride Buggy Blue) and it is my favorite as well. It is very easy for a parent to steer, removable safety harness makes it very comfortable and safe ride for a kid. Removable canopy is very handy especially in SoCal.

We purchased this bike well in advance for my kids first birthday and bike spent a few months in the box before I even attempted to put it together. I was very disappointed when I found that part of the canopy was damaged during shipping. I contacted Dana at Smart trikes and was pleasantly surprised because the only thing that she asked me was to email her picture of the broken part and shipping address replacement part was UPSed with no other questions asked. Smart trike comes with a great customer service when you need it.

My son is by no means large. He got this for Christmas 2010. He is now 19 months old, 30 lbs, and 34 inches tall. He's the size of a 2-3 year old and no longer fits in this trike. He actually stopped fitting in this trike about two months ago when he was 28-29 lbs and 32-33 inches. He could barely fit in the seat and the straps won't "click" once he's in the seat.

This is really too bad because it is really cute and he likes it; he just looks far too uncomfortable riding in it.

The issue is that his legs are too long. Imagine trying to ride a trike that is too small for your legs. His knees are far too bent making it very awkward.

This wouldn't be a problem if the main shaft of the trike actually allowed for the seat to slide back. If it does slide back, we couldn't figure out how to do it.

Speaking of assembly, the parent steering mechanism that attaches to the back never really worked for us. The fittings were way too tight for most of the assembly and we couldn't get the holes to line up so that we could put the pin in, no matter how hard we pushed and tried to tap it into place. Any one else have this problem?

Despite having this trike, we're looking into purchasing the Kettler and/or the Radio Flyer trikes as these are truly adjustable.

If you don't mind some shaky steering from the parent steering and a useless sunshade...my kid loves it! BTW my kid is small, I would not recommend this for a "bigger" kid.

I brought this for my second son's 1st birthday. We have had it for a year now, as he is turning 2.

I am constantly having mom's inquire about the trike wherever we go, and I thought maybe I should post some of my comments where I brought it.

First off I should admit that my husband put the trike together so I can't comment on the difficulty. Took him 15min without difficulty, but he is an engineer and good at technical details. There was nothing broken or missing. The front pedals did spin when they were suppose to be disengaged, but that only lasted 3 days until it got worn in.

I saw a lot of bad/mixed reviews when I bought so I thought I'd comment on some of the things I'd seen posted.

1) I saw a lot of comments that it didn't steer straight. Ours worked prefect for 2 weeks then suddenly started veering all over the place and I thought oh no. I looked down and realized my 1 year old was trying to steer. There is no way to lock out your toddler from taking control, but I easily over power my little guy so it is never a problem. If you are having problems steering make sure the culprit is not your little angel :)

2) The sun shade is great, but not meant for strong winds. Also if it rubs against your child's blonde hair over the course of a long walk you may look down to discover your child has pink hair ( which luckily washed out). Easy to remove the shade.

3) the bucket on the back won't take a heavy load. I use to put my purse in the bucket but it has a tendency to dump the bucket and purse (i do have a heavy purse). Since it didn't carry my purse I figured I didn't need it right now and removed it. I'll put it back when we turn it into a dedicated trike.

4) The seat and seatbelt and surrounding safety bars still fit my 2 year old fine and there is still some growing room. Granted my child runs on the smaller side (26-27lbs). Most trikes don't have seat belts, so once he out grows them I'll stop using the belt. ( And one good thing about the safety bars only fitting small children is my 5 year can't steal his brothers trike, which thankfully saves me one sibling fight).

5) The toy phone got played with the first day and I don't think he ever touched it again. The cup holder at the front fits his sippy perfectly.

6) the saddle bag on the handle doesn't fit much. I like to carry a bottle of sunscreen in it for the days I forget the apply before leaving the house. Maybe an extra diaper, pack of wipes, bucket hat and some sunglasses.

7) My only real con about trike is pulling the trike backwards is a bit unstable. I use to pull my strollers through store doors backwards holding the door with my body. The first time I tried it with trike I nearly tipped it. Luckily the trike fits through doors going forward nicely so I haven't had any issues since.

8) both my kids refused to sit in a stroller from 11 months on. This is a great alternative. My son loves to ride in it. He tries to climb in without help.

9) one warning. Don't wear your Sunday best shoes or open toed sandals. My son likes to drag his feet on the ground despite having both the foot rest and foot pedals for options. It doesn't seem to be hurting his stride ride sneakers, but I could see some little kid somewhere scuffing up their nice shoes.

10) I love the grow-with-it factor. How much money have I spent on toys, clothes and baby gear that only lasted for 6months before the child grew out of it? It's wonderful to spend money on something that is going to be useable for years! A year of use, I've already gotten my money's worth, the next 2 years will just icing on the cake.

My 1 year old son loves riding in it, it has a great frog color. It didnt take much time to assemble. The sun shade is a bit low, so it's not very practical. Overall, i'm happy with it and so is my son.

Batman with Muscle Chest Child Costume - Kid's Costumes

Batman Muscle Chest Sm Child CostumeI bought this costume for my 3 1/2 year old son for Halloween 2010. He has worn it several times for many different parties and it is still in great shape. He absolutely loves it! One of the best features about this product is that the cape is attached to the mask so that if someone accidentally steps on the cape from behind it slightly jerks his head back this is much more preferable than the vast majority of Batman costumes that have a cape that ties around the neck causing strangulation issues. The mask is also made of some type of neoprene material so it is very soft and it can be flipped up so he doesn't have to look through the eyeholes if he so chooses.

The costume is great but the material has ripped on many of the seams. Not great quality for the price but my son loves it so I guess that's all that matters. Hopefully, it will hold up!

Buy Batman with Muscle Chest Child Costume - Kid's Costumes Now

I purchased this costume for my 8 year old and to be on the safe size I bought the 10-12 which is a size Large. The costume fits him fine on the body, (which to me says that they run small in the body part of the costume, he's not heavy at all,) yet the costume is super long. I had to shorten the costume quite a bit. And he's by no means a short boy. So be aware of this.

Also, the Mask with attached cape is of a very small size. The cape is long and fine but the attached face mask only comes down to his forehead. I'm wondering if the cape and mask are of a one size fits all type. So, I will have to do some work to make the mask fit or buy him another cheap mask to go with the costume.

Overall, for the price, the costume is of an ok quality but the sizing seems to have some major issues. Just be aware of this when you order.

I spent a lot of time trying to decide between this size and the "toddler" size. Ordered the confusing size "medium 8-10" for age 5-7. However, it actually is sized for age 8-10 I think. My son is a pretty tall 6 yr old, so this was way off. The yellow utility belt that the package is supposed to have was missing. The cape was attached to the head mask and the ears do not stick up but lie flat against the head. The only thing that was "good" about this costume was the muscle chest. However, I do not recommend this product. Would not buy it again even if it fit correctly.

Plan Toy Baby Walker

Plan Toy Baby WalkerThis is a good walker for babies who have strong balance already and who are very close to walking or already walking. Otherwise the bar being in the back can cause it to flip back when baby puts too much weight on the bar. The walker does not turn w/out tilting it back and using the rear wheels, so I have to help my baby turn it. The product makers needed to include two screw end cap things (don't know what they're called) that are set inside the wood in order to rotate the bar to the lower height.

I think it is actually helping my baby to develop the right muscles for walking, unlike what they say about the round walkers (the kind that surround the baby). I like that it has a knob to tighten so the walker slows down.

It's bright and pretty to look at, better than those big plastic things. The blocks are of good quality.

My baby likes it !

This is one of the best and affordable walkers on the market for the high quality it is. It's solid and sturdy wood with non-slip wheels (good for tile and wooden floors). It's well balanced and has an adjustable handle-bar for two heights, as well as a tension wheel to adjust the speed that your little one is walking. Forget the plastic ones--the wheel base is usually too small so they kick the wheels as they walk, they're too light-weight so topple easily, and the plastic wheels are inefficient and slippery on anything other than carpet (which has to be thin or the wheels will get bogged down). My daughter has used this walker since 10 months of age and she loves it! She could have used it earlier, but it took me some time to find the right one (we had borrowed an awful plastic one and learned our lesson when she toppled over while pushing it). We'll get years of use out of it as it's also fun to put things in and push around.

Buy Plan Toy Baby Walker Now

This is a wonderfully well-made, durable wooden walker. The option to adjust the rear wheel resistance is excellent, except when a young child attempts to pull it backward to walk with it again. In that case, the front of the walker tips upward and often falls. Also, if my one-year-old son put a little too much weight on the handle either from behind or attempting to reach it from the front of the walker, or tried to pull up on it, it toppled over with him or sideways onto him. (The handle of the walker is what would actually fall on him, as the base is too low to the ground to do so.) He hurt his lip pretty badly on the handle one of the times he fell. I understand this is "user error" but how can you explain proper use to a one-year-old? I think Plan Baby could compensate for this by weighting the base a little more to help prevent it from tipping so easily. As much as my son enjoyed pushing this toy around and playing with the wooden blocks, I had to return it because I couldn't stand to see him fall over any more.

The overall idea and design of the walker is great, but it needs modifications. I wanted to offer other moms (especially those with rambunctious little boys) an honest review of my experience. I'm truly disappointed that it didn't work out for us.

My 11month old daughter loves this walker. we looked everywhere for a wooden walker and are really pleased with the Plan Toys quality. The wheels can be tightened so that less confident walkers do not go too fast, even on a wood floor. As they get more confident the wheels can be loosened. The bricks are very durable and although she is too small to build with them yet she loves to bash them together they even stand up to some chewing! I am sure this is toy that will last great purchase!

We got this for my 11 month-old daughter for Easter. She was already pulling up and cruising at the time, so we thought it was time for a walker. I love Plan Toys, so I jumped for this. Well, it ended up being a very bad idea. As much as this toy is adorable and all the things you're used to getting from Plan Toys, it is NOT a walker. Walkers are for babies who still need a little help walking. This thing feels like it weighs about 1 lb. Not only did it fall over constantly when she tried pulling up on it we also had the experience of it toppling sideways if she tried to turn it. I know it's meant for walking in a straight line, but any kid will try to turn it. She is not a heavy baby (6th percentile in weight) or an exceptionally strong baby, so that was just unacceptable. The only thing we let her use were the blocks that came with it (which are excellent) and we ended up returning it and buying the Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon instead. Much heavier, sturdier, and has a bumper on the front so they don't ruin your walls and furniture while walking. We have had no problems with the new product.

I gave this product 2 stars only because I think it would be fun for a child who is already walking and running very well on their own and who wouldn't fall over when the product topples on turns. Also, the blocks were excellent quality, so I bought a set separately.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Peek-a-Boo Cuckoo

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Peek-a-Boo CuckooIn some cases the more a child enjoys a toy, song, book, or whatever, the more annoying the parents will find it. So far the "Fisher-Price Peek-A-Boo Cuckoo" has found its way into our daughter's heavy play-time rotation, but had not caused too many headaches for the grown-ups.

One of the things that she likes is that she can push the button at the top of the clock and an illuminated bird pops out. Our daughter is 10 months-old and she learned how to push the button almost immediately. Each time it brings a smile to her face.

The bird is one feature but there are many more

By pressing the middle of the clock-hands (which do rotate) you are able to play songs.

The dial at the top can be rotated to the "Sun" postion to play daytime songs or to the "Moon" to play nighttime sings.

A little side is key makes a clicking sound which represents winding the clock.

Rings are attached to the side... I am not sure why they are there, but my daughter plays with them.

The clock is not too loud and it offers a nice variety of sounds and music. This is what helps to keep the annoyance factor to a minimum.

Final verdict A nice inexpensive toy that children from ages 6-24months will enjoy.

5 Stars

Got this when it was on sale before Christmas for my 8 month old baby. Didn't have any expectations for it because it was so inexpensive but have been very happy with it. There are two modes -an ABC/counting/teaching and a music mode. My baby especially loves to grab at the little cuckoo birdie that's hidden and pull it out. She reaches for this toy every time so for what the low price, it is definitely worth the money. The music is fun and the toy seems very durable.

Purchased the Fisher-Price Peek-A-Boo clock for 13 mo old who had shown facination with household cuckoo and other clocks. Toy arrived securely packaged and in perfect condition. Our toddler immediately began to play with it and quickly discovered the large buttons and how to release the cuckoo. She spent 20 minutes sitting and exploring the toy which is remarkable as her usual attention span is about 3 minuntes per toy! She continues to enjoy and "dance" to the music of the clock every day. As she gets older, I expect that she will start to learn from the built in educational material. The toy has been dropped many times and has suffered multiple assaults by tiny hands upon the cuckoo bird yet remains intact indicating good durability.I rated it 4 stars only because the hands do not move independently therefore is will not be useful as a means to learn to tell time. This is not an issue at for us at present but I will be watching for a second toy clock with this capablility in the future

I got this for my ten month old. She loves it. The first thing she noticed was that she could pull open the door to the cuckoo and reveal the bird which starts a song. She loves the song. She has recently figured out that she can push the button that holds on the clock hands for more songs and loves that too. I actually prop this up in the corner of her crib so she'll see it when she wakes up from a nap or in the morning and play with it. The toy still has room to grow because she hasn't yet discovered that she can spin the sun/moon wheel and that she can turn the key. She also doesn't know she can open the bird's door by pushing the button on the top of the clock. I've been very pleased with this.

Bottom line: Good buy for the price particularly if you can grab it on sale. Consider it as a crib toy. Takes up very little room in the crib standing up in a corner and doesn't trigger easily by accident if bumped at night.

We purchased this clock for our 18 month old daughter who has started to take an interest in clocks, picking them out of books and pointing out the clocks on the wall. We wanted an early teaching clock that was safe for her age and also could grow with her and teach her numbers and time when it came time for it. I saw this online and the reviews were good so my husband went out to get it. When he came home with it I was very surprised to see that the hands do not move independently which means you can not point at different times on the clock. Worse yet, when you put the big hand on the o'clock (12) the little hand is almost never on another number so it is never __ o'clock! It is cute and maybe a good baby toy but is not good for growing interest in clocks and how they work! We went back on a search and found the Melissa & Doug shape sorter clock which although it is recommended for 3+ she can grow into it with a little supervision and help now and lots more learning later!

Infantino Sort & Spin Hippo

Infantino Sort & Spin HippoMy daughter is 10 months old and is starting to really enjoy playing with this toy. We have to help her get the blocks aligned properly but she loves to finish pushing them in and them help us push the knob that spins the shapes back out. She also likes to play with the blocks by themselves.

Hello Kitty Plush with Heart "I Love You"- Yellow

Hello Kitty Plush with Heart 'I Love You'- YellowI was really excited to get this for my friend because she really wanted it. When i got it i took it out of the package and first thing i notice that is wrong with it is that there is a big hole in the backside of the heart. And where the pants are supposed to be sewed on they are starting to pull apart on both legs at the seam. This was a big let down when i got it. Will not buy anything from this company again was NOT WORTH IT

Playskool Blockimals - Farm 1

Playskool Blockimals - Farm 1I bought a bunch of these for our daughter's easter basket when she was 8 or 9 months old. She had no interest in them at the time, but now that she is 14 months old, she will play with them. They are not really as 'cool' to her as I thought they'd be....I thought b/c they open and close into a block and then the character/animal will move and make a sound...thought she'd really like it. She will definitely play with them now, but only a minute or two here and there. We do have a decent amount of toys, but I would not say these are favorites....but not bad. Definitely no fun for her at 8 or 9 months or anytime up until now, though.

Corolle Babicorolle Babipouce Pink Striped Doll

Corolle Babicorolle Babipouce Pink Striped DollFirst of all, we have this baby and the box says 0+. So this is my daughter's first baby doll. She got it at 6 months. It is her favorite we have to take it everywhere. It is so cute and cuddly and it washes beautiful with no special care. Everyone asks us where we bought this doll.

We bought this doll as a Christmas present for our daughter who was 16 months. We loved how soft it is, the plush velour outfit, and the fact that it can suck its thumb or index finger just like our little girl does. Our daughter took to it immediately and it is now her special Lovey "Bahbah" (baby) that she takes everywhere with her. Highly recommended as a first doll for a infant or toddler.

This was purchased for my daughter for her birthday, and I remember thinking that baby dolls for toddlers were a dime a dozen. Not so! This is the best doll on the market and is, by far, my daughter's favorite. For one thing, the baby sucks on her finger... my daughter is also a thumb-sucker. This baby smells SO good and so soft and cuddly that it was only after receiving her that my daughter started cuddling and kissing and treating dolls like REAL babies. I highly recommend the purchase of this doll for any little girl... it will be around for a very long time!

I fell in love with it by the picture. It's even cuter in person. Very soft and just the right size for a first baby doll. Price was right, size was right. Everything is good with this item.

My daughter is nearly 5 and has had this doll for 2 years. She will not sleep without her "soft baby". We have even replaced it twice! The vinyl is very soft and the velour body makes anyone want to snuggle. My daughter carries this doll EVERYWHERE and plays with it throughout the day, everyday. People ask us where to get one all the time...it is THAT cute. As a mom, I STRONGLY recommend this doll for any child that likes to pack around dolls/stuffed animals and for any child that likes to snuggle with something at night. I also recommend it because it is so easy to clean...just throw it in the washer.
