I thought this would be genius for my infant who loved playing with the tags on all of her toys and blankets. She showed almost zero interest in it, though. Earlyears Curiosity Cube

This is an exceptional sensory stimulating toy. Ideal for infants as young as 4 or 5 months. Having 6 different ways to explore this toy, it will also keeps an infant's interest throughout their quickly developing first year.

There is a mirror that spins, 2 wire bead tracks with 2 beads each (different shapes), a spining and clicking circular divice with finger 2 impressions allowing you to teach your child how to turn the disk, an abacus type section with green and orange disks, a spiral "pole" with an orange disk that will fall down the spirals when turned, and finally a cylinder with 4 levels of plastic swiss cheese type bariers allowing very tiny beads to fall through making a "rain stick" type sound. This too spins.

It is small enough to take in the car, easy to carry, light yet very sturdy. I have no concerns about any part of this breaking or coming apart. Because it is light weight, it is very easy for the child to manipulate. It will hold their attention, teach them about basic physical properties and laws (such as gravity), and will last through at least 2 children.

My baby's arm/elbow got stuck inside this toy. I tried to free her but the toy is very well made that I can't break it. My baby's constricted arm started to turn purple after 15 minutes, so I had to call 911. It took 3 firefighters to get her arm off from the toy. I think this toy should be recalled.

I bought this for my 7 month old who was learning to sit on her own. She seemed to like boxes -diaper wipe box, kleenex box, etc -so I thought this would be a definite hit. For the first month, she was definitely interested in it but it didn't hold her attenton for more than a few minutes -perhaps she wasn't at the recommended age? I still thought it was pretty cool though and I don't know how a baby's arm could get stuck in this (as somebody else wrote) -My baby never had a problem with that. The item description says that it requires 2 AA batteries but I don't think that's correct as there is definitely no battery compartment on this cube!

This video was taken when she was about 9 months old. There are 3 sides she likes more than the others and she will pretty much only plays with those 3 sides. Now just hitting 11 months, she will play with this on occassion but only for a couple of minutes before she finds something else more exciting.

We received this as a gift when my son was 6 months old and at the time he loved spining the mirror and the little barrel of beads. As he got older, he started to learn how to use all the other functions on the cube. He is 10 months now and I have to admit he plays with it less frequently but every so often, he will sit there and play with it for a good 5-10 min. Overall, I think this toy was awesome!!

I bought this for my son when he was 5mo.s old. I pulled it out for him at 6mo.s and he had no iterest. I pulled it out again at 7mo.s and he LOVES it. It really works his hand eye coordination. It is small enough so now that he is sitting up, he can move it around and change it to what interests him at the moment. It has been really good for his independent play time.

K's Kids Inchworm

We received this "inchworm" for our baby girl just before she was born. When she was about 4 weeks old, I started bringing it out as a toy for her to follow and turn her head. She was entranced the bright colors and the great smile, she loved it. As she has grown she has become more intrigued with it pulling on the antennas to get them to rattle, hugging it and of course putting the little feet in her mouth. She still loves the smile and enjoys staring at it. She also likes the mirror on the back, but the face and antennas are her favorite.

I highly recommend this as a great first toy. Its simple and yet perfect for the first few months of your little one's life:) I'm really impressed with the quality of the product too.

My son is 4 months old and just LOVES this toy! I would say that this is a must have!

I think my 3 1/2 year old and I love this more than our baby.

Got it for him when he was 3 months old. He is 9 months now and barely goes to it. At first it was possibly a nice thing to chew on, but he has other toys and objects that he prefers. The mirror quickly ruined. Its permanently fogged up. Not sure what happened there. The squeeky sound in the head is nearly impossible for my older son to manipulate with his small hands. It seems fun to wrestle...thats what I would do if it was my size. I will be passing this on in hopes some other baby will appreciate it more.

Olivia EZ-On Romper Costume

It's not as nice as I thought it would be. I'm not sure I would purchase this one again.

The fabric wasn't the best and the legs didn't stay Velcroed closed between carrying our 2 year old when she needed a break. But we could layer clothes under it and it went on easily. I stuffed tissues in the ears to keep them upright. So not perfect but totally fine for the price.

Infantino Activity Stacker

Our twins have had this since they were around 4 months and it has been a highy played with toy, they still play with it now at 12 months. The materials and construction are great, we have had no issues with any of the pieces and I would classify them as having gone through heavy use so far.

This stacker toy is better than most in my opinion because each piece is unique with various shapes, materials, and sizes so kids find every part of this toy interestng as opposed to stacker toys that are simply different sizes of the same shape and material.

Because this toy is primarily soft materials it is safe for young infants. This stacker is also easy to pack and we take it with us on most trips because it fits in any bag and the kids are always happy to play with it.

I thought this would be great for my 6 month old who is constantly putting anything and everything in her mouth. It's really neat that there are so many different rings and the base squeaks (she likes that part--instant smile). The colors are vibrant and there are a ton of different textures. I bought this baby for my nephew when his new baby brother arrived. It is the perfect size for a 17 month old. He loved it. This baby is soft and lovable with a sweet face. My nephew was fascinated by the baby's toes. This is a simple and well made product. It has even survived a "bed bug" clean up in the dryer, although, I wouldn't recommend a trip through the dryer unless it is an absolute must.

I bought this doll for my two year old for Christmas. The doll is very cute , the right size for a child her age and very detailed. I loved the way it looked.

This item is poorly constructed. It is only Feb. and this doll is falling apart. All the seams that connect the arms and legs to the body are coming apart. There appears to be a zip tie that holds this items to the body , and that has poked through the cloth and made holes on each of the legs and arms.

I am so disappointed . It is my daughter's favorite baby , and it really is very cute.

I specifically wanted a boy doll for my toddler son. After a lot of searching i decided on this one. This doll is cute and cuddly. However, the plastic ties they use to secure the appendages and neck poked through the material and ripped and frayed it. I'm not sure why the manufacturer didn't cut the excess plastic off before putting the fabric around it. I tried to get a replacement on Amazon but, they were out of stock. So, I ended up cutting the extra plastic off myself and removing it, and then sewing up the material where it had poked through. It's fine now and my son loves it but, what a pain.

Crayola Beginnings Baby Slide and See

I bought this for my 23 month old granddaughter. She instantly loved this toy. She was so fascinated by the change in color and within a matter of minutes was able to name a couple of the colors on her own. This is a fun toy that allows you to play and teach at the same time. It is also small,light weight,and durable great as a take-along toy for car trips. She enjoys playing with it alone as well as with others.

I got this as a hand me down and thought i was missing a part for months until i finally looked the product up. I guess I had it figured out without any context so, it's easy to use! interesting, seemingly useless, but it does create conversation about color (primary, secondary, how an orange is orange, etc). I would absolutely pay nothing for it again.

I got this for my one year old she has played with it some but it just doesn't seem to hold her interest much. She play with her blocks more than this toy. I also bought her the Crayola Pop and See, and she had the same reaction to those, just no interest. I thought the slide and see would be of more interest since she really seems attracted to bright colors. Not really the case with this toy. Maybe she will like it when she is a bit older, even though the recommended ages are 6 mo +.

Sesame Street Baby Purse Playset

This is a really great toy and we were excited to give it to our daughter at her first birthday. The only drawback is she can't open the purse by herself. You have to push the handle very hard towards the back to get it to open. It took our three year old quite a while to do it and sometimes she can't and has to ask us for help. We had a similar problem with the Sesame Purse that was made a few years ago. They need to redesign the purse so that is is easy to open. It could possiby be a heavy duty cloth bag with velcro closure or something along that line. The toys inside are great so we generally leave them out of the purse for her to play with.

We bought this toy to try to occupy our 18 month old on a long plane trip. It worked,... at least for a while. The plastic purse contain several items including lipstick, keys, cell phone, change purse and others. Our daughter does enjoy playing with this although she prefers toys that do something (come part, make noise, have moving parts). The cell phone does open and squeak when you press the buttons and the change purse rattles but the other items really don't do anything so she became a little bored with them. Still she did like this toy and enjoyed imitating mom by putting on lipstick, "talking" on the phone etc. The toy itself is pretty durable and has survived several drops on the floor without breaking.

Overall I would recommend this toy for any young toddler that likes to imitate mom or play "make believe." At the price that it is selling for it is also a pretty good value.

My daughter received this as a gift when she turned one and I didn't give it to her right away thinking she was too young. Once I showed it to her at age 14 months, she absolutely loved it! She pretends to be painting her lips and mine with the big plastic lipstick. She loves opening, closing and shaking the coin purse (it's great because there's only the "sound" of coins so no mess to pick up). And she opens and closes the cell phone while pretending to talk on it. She's 16 months old now and totally understands that it's "her purse" and LOVES emptying and filling it. One of her favorites!

Ordered this for my 14-month old son after he saw it at a family member's house. Considering it was less than $10 and he loves the thing, I couldn't be happier.

It plays a few songs and lights up and all that, only problem is; we usually only hear one song since the little guy loves to push the heart (on/off button). Nearly every time it turns back on it sings the same song. Small price to pay for the boy's happiness though!

Little Tikes Garden Table

Bought this for my baby's 1st birthday. We set it up the night before her party. She came down in the morning and was super excited to play with it. It was easy to assemble I thought my hubby would have to do the work but there wasn't anything tricky to do. I haven't played outside with it yet since it's still cold here but it's definitely going to entertain her this summer I am sure. It is really small so it's good for 1 year and up though the box says 1 1/2 years. I am anxious to see how much she likes it this summer.

My one year old enjoys this toy. The drain plug is her favorite part and this makes a great water table.

For my about to be 2 yr old grandaughter ..june 10, and while they are cute and she has played with them, she will quickly outgrow these as they are much much smaller than I had imagined them to be I guess, she isn't particularly a tall toddler, these are imho suited in SIZE for a 9-18m old.

But they are cute, Im sure we will find more than one use for the table as it will hold water.....I can see mudpie makin in the near future :) but due to the error in my judging the size of these two toys, I fully expect her to ve well outgrown both by the time its too cold to play outside with them any longer.
