Lil Characters Infant Lamb Costume, Off White/Pink/Light Blue

As far as costumes for kids go, the quality of this one is a little better than most. I like that it's lined and that there are a few pieces. The multiple pieces (hat, booties, and bodysuit) work well for toddlers who might only put up with part of the suit. I washed the outfit after Halloween and line-dried it. It came out looking great, so maybe another kid will be able to wear it next year.

The design of the outfit is darling. The little bow is a great touch. The ears and tail wobble in all the cutest ways when your little one walks in this. We put it back on the day after Halloween to get some more pictures and a few more giggles for the parents!

We bought the 6-12 month size for our ~14# 7 month old. It looked like the pictures and was very cute on. The body was really large on our daughter, but the hood fit perfectly (so might be small on babies that fit the body portion) and the "hoof booties" stayed on well. We found the costume a little too warm for indoor parties so our daughter ended up being a "shorn" sheep, which was pretty cute too. I would prefer the bow was smaller, and/or removable, and the "dip" in the forehead better edged (it is a little rougher than in the photos) but all in all we liked the costume.

This is a pretty cute costume. My son is a 2T and the costume fit very well. It actually had a little room to spare, however, the hat was way way way too small. But by cutting the material under the chin and sewing a ribbon to tie it worked out great. Good quality!

We got this for our 3 month old (long and skinny). It was loose on her width-wise, but fit pretty well length-wise. The legs tended to ride up when we held her, so I'd suggest leggings or something underneath if it's chilly outside. The "hooves" were huge for her, but still stayed on. Overall, a really cute suit, decently made, easy to wash.

Bought both Spotty and Dotty as soon as I saw them on Amazon. It's hard to get anything WotWots in the states, so I jumped on it. I was really impressed with the quality, they are really, really well made. Nice, thick material, really good stitching, I'm confidant that Spotty and Dotty will be around a good long time! I highly recommend these toys, if you have a WotWot fan in the house, you will not regret this purchase! Only complaint (and it's really inconsequential) is the "eco" packaging. They come in little brown "bag" type packages, with a picture of the Wot inside on the front, and tied off with a matching ribbon, very cute. (I'm actually thinking of framing them to hang in her room, the are so pretty!) But if your gonna have "eco" packaging, please use an adhesive that ACTUALLY WORKS!! They arrived in a UPS box, and all of the seams had come apart. Luckily I put them in Easter baskets, didn't need the packaging, but I have no idea how they would sell these on store shelves. Don't let that stop you, these are GREAT toys!

I bought for my grandson, unknown just what exactly a "WotWot" was. He giggled with delight and he told me it was now his bestfriend! Wot more could I ask for? It is well made and so very lovable.

Precious Moments Prayer Pal - Boy in Pajamas

We got one of these for my son when he was born he just turned 5 and the batteries finally gave out so we had to replace it (my 3.5 yr old has his own). It is an important part of our bedtime routine and even travels with us so it can "watch over" my son while he sleeps. I wouldn't recommend it as a toy, since squeezing it illicits the prayer.

I personally thought the doll was creepy, but my nephew absolutely loved it. I think the combination of the big eyes, little lispy kid voice, and the simple fact that its a doll just got to me. But it did the job, in that my nephew and extremely religious sister were happy!

These were super cute. They talk a little weird. But at least they are in English. They are also over priced. After I bought them I found them in stores for half the price.

That aside, my three month old daughter LOVES this rattle! It's the first toy she's had yet that she's actually become attached to. The size is a perfect fit for her little hands, and in the first few days she's had it her dexterity has noticeably improved. Of course it goes right into her mouth, so I keep it clean and honestly I feel good about her having a natural wooden toy that she can gum on.

Another reviewer mentioned that the wood is rough, and I had the same reaction when I first opened it, but I decided that if my daughter liked it I could always take some sandpaper to it. In the end, that wasn't necessary. After washing it and leaving it to dry thoroughly, I simply rubbed some cooking oil into it and the texture is lovely now. Still nice and tactile, feels like natural wood as it should, but it's not dry and coarse as it was at first.

My daughter likes this. It is smaller than I expected. It eases my mind to have her put this in her mouth over plastics.

This rattle is very light and small enough for my baby to comfortably hold it. She enjoys chewing on it and it doesn't get soaked through or splinter. My only complaint is that it's not noisey enough for a rattle.

At first our son wasn't into it, but once he started teething, he loved it! It's a great size and we brought it around everywhere--a five star product! Unfortunately, the other day it broke apart. Granted, he was banging it on the table, but I think toys ought to be able to withstand that, since I would imagine a lot of 8-month olds will bang toys on the table. Well, next thing you know the toy has come apart and the little wooden balls could have easily slipped off into his mouth. Luckily they didn't, but I imagine it would have been a major choking hazard. Now it's in the trash. I'm just glad it happened in front of me so I could take it away quickly. Too bad.

My 7 month old son loves to play with the balls & he loves hearing the music play everytime he kicks it or reaches in. He's hasn't quite old enough to actually "make a basket" without help. The one complaint I have is that when you try to pick up the toy, from the top of basket, it falls apart. There is no way to lock the top & bottom parts together. That causes concern since my son could pick it up & have the bottom fall on him & he gets hurt.

Reading the box I thought it would be a wonderful toy for my 8 month old. However, everytime he pulls on the net the entire top half comes apart. That's know fun because he cannot put it back together. It should have a locking mechanism so that it would not come apart.

We got this toy at Christmas when Ethan was 5 mos., he is now 10 mos. He likes to spin the side spinner but that's about all. I agree that the hoop falls off MUCH too easily and it was really hard to put the bottom pieces together. It seemed silly they weren't already connected. I received this toy for Easter for my Twins in thier baskets. I have to say that the nicest part of the toy is the three brightly colored balls. I am a big Fisher Price fan and I like the adjustable volume and the music is not too overbearing but the toy is not made well. The hoop attachement falls off way to easily (everytime) and having to re-assemble it each time its touched is annoying. With three small kids, I need a toy to hold up for play. It's not worth the money and I would not give this to anyone else.

My mom bought this toy for my son when he was nine months old and he loves it! Music plays and lights flash when he puts the balls in the hoop. He figured out the point of the game right away. The balls are brightly colored and he will crawl all over the house to retrieve them. The hoop attachment does come off of the base easily but that is because it is reversible (the bottom of the toy can either be a basket to contain the balls or a platform that allows the balls to roll away so baby has to crawl after them) and it has never been a problem for us. We clap and cheer when he makes a basket and he gets really excited. This toy is very interactive because adults can easily play baskets with the child even grandad likes getting in on the action! This is always the first toy my son chooses to play when we go to Grandma's house.

Earlyears Surprise Inside Elephant

My daughter received this toy for her 1st birthday and we have gotten hours of enjoyment from it. Almost 2 months later she knows the name of each toy hidden inside the elephant and will fish inside for the appropriate item when asked where it (ball, little elephant, mouse, flower or peanuts) is. She then will present different people with her "finds." She's taken to hiding other toys inside the elephant also. It's easy to take along on visits. Just a great toy.

I gave this to my 19-month-old neice as a Christmas gift, and she immediately wanted to play with it. She loves taking out and putting in all of the pieces, which are easy for her to grasp and manipulate. A wonderful toy!

Great toy my 7 month old son loves it. Or I should say lovED it... because he got sick, so I washed it... and it fell apart. I just never thought that a toy for a young child would not be able to be washed especially a soft toy. I intentionally avoid plastic toys, and like soft ones because I always assume I can throw them in the washer. Not the case here. The material that keeps the elephant stiff to create the box shape came out, and it's crumpled flat now... and the material is crumbled all over the smaller pieces!

Just be warned, you can't clean this item!!

Skip Hop Treetop Friends Night and Day Discovery Toy

This is our go to toy right now. Our baby is almost 3 months old and for the past month she has loved looking at this toy and trying to grab it when we hang it in front of her. She seems to really look at it, unlike a few other toys I have ordered her. I love how it comes with a hanging strap and I can really attach it to anything. Once she starts teething I really think she will enjoy the grooved leaf to chew on. It's really such a cute toy, I will be buying more of the Treetop toys.

I bought this toy because I get all these e-mails from these places telling me what my baby should be doing this week. Well one week (at a very young age) the email said that the baby should have a favorite toy. Well we didn't even have very many toys for the baby yet because she could barely hold on to anything at that point. So being the self consciouse mom that I am I went on the internet and searched for the top rated toys for 3 month old babies. This owl toy was number one on many sites so I ordered it without another thought. She likes it. It's small so she can hold it. The only two complaintes I have (and they arne't really bad ones) are that it sheds this fabric when she hold it or puts it in her mouth. It's not thread... I'm not sure what it is but it definately comes from the toy because you can see it on the toy. The other bothersome thing is EVERYONE who sees the toy comments on how owls are nocternal and the sleeping owl should be on the night side instead of the daytime one. But having said all that we love it! And SHE loves it, which in the end is all that matters!

The part that attaches to the toy is very thin and can break. I will be contacting the company to let them know.

Sesame Street Full Body Puppets

The Elmo puppet is soft and cuddly, and good quality. My son giggles when he sees it. Only issue is the 'puppet' mouth is hard to open and close. It's really stiff and my hand gets sore after a minute or two.

This Snuffy puppet is made from very soft material and is sewn together well. You put your hand in through the tummy area and opening/closing the mouth raises/lowers the snuffle (trunk). My daughter loves it and thinks it is so funny. I love the Gund puppets, they are well made and so cute and cuddly.

We bought this Elmo puppet to play with our 5 month old son. He really enjoys the puppet. When you first buy it, the mouth is slightly difficult to move, but after 30 min of play it moves easily. Also the puppet is very soft and has bendable arms.

Although large enough for an adult to use, the puppet will still be good for a child size hand.

My only complaint is that the body of the puppet is a little wide (probably to allow for large arms).

As a precaution, I ordered an "emergency Baby", in case Baby #1 got lost or needed a wash. This little doll is so soft and cuddly, and she is very durable. My 4-month-old daughter just got this teether blanket yesterday and is already attached at the hip to it. She loves to shove the face of it into her mouth and squish the crinkly backing on it. California Costumes Goin' Ape Bodysuit

My friend always wanted a monkey suit. It fits him good because he's not super tall and is very skinny. It only has a tie back so when he moves his arms a certain way the back opens up. He just wears a black shirt underneath. He likes it. It looks real and has had a lot of fun with it. The only flaw which we knew about from previous reviews; is that it loses hair. A lot of hair. One of the hands, most of the hair came off but all and all you can't tell on the suit. So, for the price I think it's good.

I'm 6'1" and 220lbs (wear 38/34 pants and L or XL shirts). While this costume was great it was smaller than expected. First off, there was a 4"-5" gap between the bottom of the legs and my shoes. The upper body portion was also a bit short for me since I could feel it wasn't too happy if I bent over forwards all the way. The wasite had plenty of room to spare. The arm legth was good with a little overlap of the sleeves and gloves and the mask fit just fine. The thumb of the gloves was pretty small while the fingers were really long, which resulted in a little difficulty using my hands but wasn't an issue so long as I was paying attention to what I was doing. It would of been nice if the back had more than just the one tie string at the top but it worked fine. I cut a vagina to make my costume a woman while also providing me with a way to relieve myself.

The body suite is a bit warm but not too bad. Wearing the mask is what really made me hot since there wasn't much ventilation. I bought a fat cigar that I stuck in the mouth to hold it open more but it didn't seem to help much. Also, I didn't get long enough staws to drink with while wearing the mask so I ended up having it pulled up on my head most of the night (eating seemed impossible).

Mary Meyer Earthmates Fuzz that Wuzz, Shoezzzz Horse, 10-Inches

I purchased this little horse as a Christmas gift for my nephew who has a much-loved, smaller toy horse of similar coloring to the one pictured. Unfortunately the toy that arrived looks nothing like the toy pictured in the photo. The one that arrived is not laying down, is posed in a more anthropomorphic pose (i.e. not at all like a real horse), and is colored more like a bay with a black mane and tail. The toy that was sent to me was Mary Meyer's Wuzzie Pony, not Shoezzz horse.

I first encountered "Fuzz that Wuzz" in a bookstore, and liked the idea of creating plush toys from soda bottles. Especially as I drink a lot of diet soda, and send the bottles off for (I hope) recycling.

So when shopping for my niece's first birthday I picked up four critters from this series: a cow, a horse, a bear, and an elephant. All seem to be well made, and baby friendly. They tend to be on the more stuffed and therefore more rigid side of plush, and while soft enough they are not as luxurious as some plush. Thus they are better suited for play than for cuddling.

Shoezzzz is a relaxed little horse who lies down with his legs extended.

MINI-NEST BALL POOL

This is a wonderful little ball pit for young children. I am a daycare provider and I rotate my bigger toys monthly. The children are always thrilled when this one comes out. They have been having so much fun with it I have kept it out longer than usual. The only issue is there are not enough balls. I bought a package of extras at another store and added them to make the ball pit just right. I love simple toys with lots of play value. This fits the bill perfectly!

Gund Baby Snoodle Puppy, Blue

It goes in the washing machine and comes out looking great! The colors are bright and cheerful, and the nose, eyes and red tail attract a baby's attention. This is not a soft animal, but it is still a winner. I bought a Snoodle Puppy for my granddaughter two years ago. She loved the texture of the fine wale corduroy, and she loved fingering and chewing on the smooth ears and tail. Now I plan to buy another puppy for my new granddaughter because her older sister does not want to share her much-loved stuffed animals.

My son is 7 months old and really enjoys these shakers.

Pros:

Each makes a different sound.

Durable and easy to clean.

Keeps my son's attention for a while.

Can be used as characters in imaginary play with blocks for older children.

Cons:

Some of the green coloring comes off with continued use. (I would still purchase again despite this.)

Younger infants may have a hard time gripping or picking these up. My son had difficulty at first but got the hang of it quickly.

I'm not sure how long my son will want to play with these.

Overall, I am pleased with this toy and would recommend this toy to others.

They're cute, clean and simple. My son carries them around and noms on them happily. I plan on gifting a set as soon as possible!

These things are adorable! They weigh less than I thought they would, but as soon as I set them down in front of my six month old son, he grabbed one, started shaking it, and put it in his mouth. Each one makes a slightly different sound, so it's fun for him to shake them. The light weight makes them easier for him to throw or push off of stuff, which means I have to pick them up for him constantly, but he likes them and that's what matters. They also got here super fast!
