16 dollars is the suggested retail price! This item sells for 16 dollars at target and it is made by the "B.Toys" brand. That being said, it's a great bath toy and it's impressively big. We bought it as a birthday present for our daughter who loves boats and baffs and feeshes. Gonna write up a better review once she opens it but just wanted to let you guys know that manufacture's suggested retail price is 16 bucks.. paying 40 for this is absurd!

I bought this toy at Target. I really like the color palate and all the components including some functional components like a comb, nail brush and bathing cups. I like how all the parts fit inside the boat for storage. It is fun to play with. Our friend's four year old really loves it and can easily hook the fish with the fishing rod. Our 10 month old even enjoys playing with some parts like the cups and the captain of the boat. It is not very durable though, we've only had it for a couple of months and the wind-up wheel on the ferry is broken, as well as half of the tails on the fish. The wind-up wheel snapped when I was winding it, so if you do get it, be cautious about winding it up too much. The fish tails are just a little fragile. Two of them have completely snapped off and the other two are fractured. Only the fish that is also a nailbrush is not showing any signs of wear and tear because it is made of sturdier material. If you are looking for durability this is not a good purchase.

I am currently in the process of trying to get a hold of their corporate office after the blue & red paint on the stern-wheel part rubbed off onto my baby's body and onto my hands when I removed it from the tub! My son is a very busy little guy. He won't stay in one spot very long until he starts whining to be picked up. This boat, however keeps him entertained as long as I need. When I'm getting ready in the morning to go to work, I sit him down on the bathroom rug, and put the boat in front of him. Within seconds, he has ripped to top of the boat off to find all the little fish inside. He loves to grab a fish in each hand and put them in his mouth. He then loves to click the fish together or on the boat itself to make as much noise as he can. During his bath, we use the stackable cups which have little holes like a shower so water goes through. He loves to feel the water with his hands that pours out of them. I have more fun fishing with the rod than he does, but I'm sure he'll grow into this. I did, however, decide to put the fishing rod away unless I'm actually sitting with him playing due to the shape of it for choking, or eye injury concerns. Every piece is made of very sturdy construction, and will probably last longer than you'll need it to. You will not be disappointed in this toy!

Baby Ganz My First Teddy - Blue

The bear for appearance-sake and for feel gets a 5. Very soft and cozy. However I just was shocked at how small it was. It's about 3 times the size of a beany baby.

We are constantly playing with this puzzle at our house -I also got the "pets" and "farmyard" ones for her. The pieces are very thick and durable cardboard, and about the size of an adult palm. The assembled animals can easily cover an adult hand, and there is no danger of small parts (the "smallest" would be half the size of my palm). When the pieces are dropped, they make a satisfying "click-click" sound when they hit each other (my toddler sometimes just drops the pieces onto the floor just for the sound)...yes, the pieces are THAT thick. While my child still has difficulty putting the puzzles together, she is able to identify the pieces that make up each animal, and has learned the names of the animals after we put them together with her. The set comes with 6 animals (turtle, starfish, octopus, seahorse, fish, and crab), with the octopus and crab being the only 2 animals that have 3 puzzle parts to them. I'm satisfied with this product because not only does it teach her the animals and how to match the parts together, but because the pieces are large and easy to find when it's clean up time, and the box itself is sturdy enough to withstand constant opening and closing, and is good for storage. Great product!!!!

I bought this toy for my 10mth old son and he LOVES it! It's very sturdy and perfectly sized for little hands. It is loud though, which isn't a concern in our case but might bother some people. It lights up and the horn toots, also if you push down on the driver or the button under the driver it will rev up and drive off about 8ft then stop and giggle! Way too cute! It does run on carpet fairly well. The driver is a decent size and his arms, legs, head, and hat all move. My son carries the driver with him just about everywhere.

This little truck seems very well made and the lights, movement, and noise are all a hit with my son. I like that the little person in the truck come sout and is large enough for little hands and too big to be a choking hazzard.

It was a little on the expensive side when I bought it. Otherwise, my only concern is that when the truck is "moving" and gets caught on something or cannot proceed forward that the motor makes a ginding type sound that made my husband comment that it won't last very long. But we will see; we've only had this since Christmas.

Sassy LeapFrog Baby Colors and Tunes Octopus

I was a little worried about the volume issue mentioned by a previous commenter. When the toy arrived the first thing I did was check everything out. I do not find this to be a particularly loud toy. As long a the child didn't squeeze it in the middle of the night, I don't think there would be a problem (It would be a little disturbing to wake up to the tinny, sing-song octopus voice).

It's very cute, and I think all little ones would enjoy the colors and sounds!

I bought this for my 6 month old granddaughter. She is now 9 months old and still loves it. She seems to be attracted to things that are blue, she plays with this toy daily. She likes the rhyming best!

As I expected my baby boy at 4 months old really took interest in this toy. He is teething and likes to chew on every appendage, even the ribbon "hair". He is delighted by the sounds, especially the rhyme mode, and works well to divert him from cranky moments during play. The back of the octopus' head has a velcro opening, which enables you to possibly wash the fabric body, but I have not tried to do it yet. However, the Yellow tentacle's touchpad receiver became broken after only a couple of weeks of very light play, which is disappointing. Overall, he does not seem to know the difference, and plays with it in various ways. It is a good toy for parent-child interactive play.

Sesame Street Juggling Teether Toy

We bought the Elmo teether because it is BPA free. The balls are rounded and thick, so our baby has something to put her mouth around (vs. the less comforting flat teethers). We put it in the freezer and it stays cold for a decent amount of time. I'm not sure what is inside the balls, it has a foamy look, but it isn't just distilled water like most "cooling" teethers. Elmo contains a rattle, so that adds another element of interest for our baby. It is a super buy (under five bucks) for a bpa free teether/rattle. I wish it had come out sooner and I hadn't wasted twice the price on the Natursutten cooling teether.

My daughter always tends to bite the plastic portion of this teether which is bad for her gums. You will be better off buying a teether that is all round chewable.

I purchased this for my second son, my first son he is two and has the Puppy. These huggy buddies are really cute and my kids love them. They love cuddling with them while they sleep. Keep in mind that their heads are a little large so for a baby under the age of 6 months, the huggy buddy is going to look rather large.

One other thing you might want to note...the inside is a satin like fabric which my kids love to hold in their hands while they sleep. If you wash it with bibs or other items with velcro (which a lot of kids clothes has velcro) it can catch the satin and snag the material.

I had originally purchased a blue teddy bear and puppy for baby shower gifts based on the great reviews by amazon customers. I thought they were adorable and so did the recipients. When my newest grandchild (a little girl) was about to be born, I decided on the giraffe because my son & d-inlaw had put an enormous stuffed giraffe in her room. Brought it w/me when she was born & they loved it. While she is just 6 weeks now, I am sure she will love it too give her a couple of months. Thought it was really cuter than the picture, very soft & cuddly & well made. It's already been washed & placed in the crib. This "lovie" is the best. My son received the giraffe from the gift shop at the hospital on the day he was born. I had forgotten all about it until he was about 8 months old. Over the course of the next few months, he became very attached and loves this things. He is now 19 months old and still sleeps with it and loves to hug it when he needs comfort. It's not called a HuggyBuddy for no reason it's large & substantial enough for them to grasp and squeeze, unlike some of the other flimsy lovies out there. It's his buddy. It's held up very well through multiple (and I mean multiple) washings. I put it on delicate cycle and dry it on med-low heat. It's definitely not as fluffy as it was when it was new... but that gives it more character. The important thing is that it's held up very well, at least in the 11 months of non-stop use thus far. We had to buy a second in case something ever happens to it. :)

My son has been using this since he was 6 months old. He is now 14 months old and he is still using it. It is very soft and cuddly. Also it is easy to wash. I threw it in the washing machine several times. I usually hang it to dry though, I never tried to put it in the dryer.

My only complain is that the fur comes easily it seems. Many times in the morning we would find the giraffe's fur stuck on my son's mouth.

My 3-year-old grandson was so excited to get another tool to add to his collection, but after five minutes with this, he was in tears. He didn't have the coordination to pull a cord while holding on the saw, and if he did, the saw didn't run for very long. Perhaps an older child would find it easier to work, but since so many kids have battery-operated toys that work until they're turned off, children may be frustrated with this one. On the plus side, the toy is well-constructed and the right size for 3-6 year olds.

For my 3 and 2 year old boys. Sounds just like a circular saw and they absolutely love it. I love the fact that it doesn't take batteries.

SwimWays Sun Canopy Baby Float - Disney Cars

I love this floaty!! My son was 9 mths when I got it (10 mths now) and he loves it too! He likes water, but he gets a little nervous when I walk in the pool with him, gets a little clingy. I bought this for him and now he loves the pool, doesn't even flinch. He sits in it with his legs in the water, and his weight makes some water come up, so hes about waist deep, and theres enough room in their for a toy or two to keep him extra happy. I just push him around in that, making the usual goofy car noises we parents are great at, and he has a ball. Makes swim time so much nicer. Of course you shouldn't ever leave a child alone in it (duh) but its nice to give him a gentle shove and then doggy paddle next to him. He's safe, and I get a little exercise in the mix. Thumbs up for this one!

We bought this for our baby this summer, but had a hard time keeping our 2 year old out of it. It held up to our kids jumping on it and playing on it. The only problem I could come up with is that your baby might be to far from the water to actually enjoy it. You don't really have to worry about them falling in because the float surrounds them. We even put some toys in front of our baby so that he had something to do while in the float.

LeapFrog Learn & Groove Counting Maracas

I'd had my eye on these for a while, because our 18-month-old son loves music and has had a great time with the Laugh and Learn Piano from Fisher Price. When I finally received the maracas, though, he didn't seem at all interested. In fact, he seemed to dislike the noises they make. One is just a plastic maraca with shaker beads inside, which didn't much interest him. The other is a battery-powered one that lights different colors and has three settings (numbers, colors and music) in English and Spanish. After a while, he would pick up the one that has lights and sounds and check it out. Now he really seems to like it, although he gets bored if it's on the music setting, because it plays the same short refrain over and over again. (I get bored, too.) The reason I didn't give this toy five stars is because of the limited musical selections. All of the Fisher Price toys have numerous song options, which helps to toy to stay "fresh." This one only holds his attention for a few minutes at a time. I gave four stars for durability because we've only had them a month. In that time, though, he has chucked them around a fair amount, and they seem OK.

I got these for my 1 year old Nephew for christmas, I wanted something he could grow with a bit but still enjoy now that was educational. He loved shaking the maracas and watching the colors change and he was even trying to mimic the voice counting colors and numbers a few times.

Definitely a great choice for any young kid who loves music.

Bought this item for my recently year old twins. They love them. I was surprised to find that only one maraca was interactive. They are not very interested yet in the maraca that just rattles but I think this is a toy they will grow with. The twins love music so it is nice to be able to combine their love of music with learning.

We purchased this for our 15 month old granddaughter for Christmas this year and she just loves them. She has more fun with these than anything else she received. They have various settings for learning numbers, colors, etc., which at this point we need to change for her. But, she'll bring them to us and ask us to change it to a different setting! She'll be enjoying and learning from this product for a long time. We're very impressed with this product!

This toy is fun for a while, but really gets charming when the batteries run down:

If it is set to anything besides making music (either counting or colours), the background music will play normally (reminiscent of a Caribbean carnival), but the words will get long and drawn out, as if they were being played from cassette tape on a device with dying batteries. The lights and everything else works fine otherwise; it's really quite strange and I can't imagine why it would operate this way.

Usually a rather cheery female voice counts to ten or declares the colour of the light when you jostle the toy, but when the voice gets stretched out like this, it sounds more like a creepy ogre inside, groaning in agony from the agitation while happy xylophone music plays behind.

At first, this happens only occasionally with a word slipping here and there, but before you know it, the poltergeist takes over completely and your child is learning the art of exorcism.

This might be what you're looking for in a toy, or it might not.

Kid O Squirrel Pull Toy

I bought this toy last year for my nephew, who is now 18 months old. First of all, it's gorgeous to look at, and generally of very high quality. I love how when you pull it, the squirrel's little tail thumps up and down... so cute. There are some issues, though. First of all, the cord is very short (I'm assuming it's a safety thing, so they don't get wrapped up in it). Adding to this is the fact that the cord comes in 2 pieces with a connecting plastic bit that snaps off, really easily. I assume that's also for safety, in case it gets caught in something, but it's so annoying. I ended up tying the cord in a knot because every time he played with it the darn thing snapped off. Then there's the general design of the squirrel. He falls over really easily because the wheels are so narrow. For a long time my nephew would just drag him on his side and just get bored with him. He finally is getting it that if he's patient and watches what he's doing, his squirrel will stay upright and do something cool (he has to walk backwards to do this, which I kind of don't like). That look of joy because he accomplished something is just golden. So, overall, I feel I have to keep looking for a better pull toy that will be easier for the little one to enjoy. He'll probably keep playing with this one, but it just requires so much effort for a little kid.

My kid loves this rolling squirrel she has named Kiko. It is well put together without too many moving part. Its color is what attracted her and she loves it. If your child points this out grab one, it will make them happy.
