I've had this nightlight for a few months only, with very gentle use. I use it as a night light in my infant's room, and it provided just the perfect amount of light for feeding, changing, etc. He loved the changing colors, so it was a great distraction during fussy diaper changes without being too bright. I used to leave the unit on the charger during the day, but then I noticed that the plastic was getting discolored from the small "charging" light burning through the day (maybe?). So I kept it off the charger unless it needed to charge. Once the green, fully-charged light shone, I removed it from its base. And then, out of nowhere, it stopped working. I removed it from its base one day and the unit just would not come on. Thankfully it's a fairly inexpensive item, so I don't feel like I was swindled. But I still would not recommend anyone buy this.

love it forever! this is great, i broke the charger for my childs original tykelyte so i had to order another set, which worked out great i have two tykelytes now to charge off and on, its a wonderful nytelyte:)

I had it for 5 months and my kids loved it. After gentle use, it simply stopped working. The charge was still charging, but the light wouldn't turn on anymore. Seek product alternatives. Do not buy from this manufacturer. There is no published customer service on the internet, so my only alternative was to return the light to Amazon for a refund.

My daughter received a Mobi Glomate light for her birthday several months ago. We didn't charge it regularly and the battery now holds absolutely no charge. The green charge light turns on when we put the Glomate on the charging dock, but it will not turn on at all when we remove it from the dock. We don't have a receipt since she received the light as a gift. I decided to try calling customer service to see if there was anything they could do. I was quickly on the phone with a real person (I didn't have to spend a lot of time talking to a computer) and was instructed to send them an email with my mailing address and they would send out a replacement. Mobi informed me that they didn't currently have any Glomate replacements, but they could send me an Animalamp instead. The replacement Animalamp was on my doorstep 3 days later. I am very impressed with the fast responses I received from Mobi customer service and the replacement lamp is adorable. My daugher will love it!

The Deglingos Discovery Activity Toy

He was much bigger than I expected, but my baby seems very happy with everything about Ratos... especially the vibration feature. If she is grumpy I can just pull his leg to make him vibrate and she cheers up! He has many textures and many different ways to play/eat him. He squeaks, crinkles, vibrates, and has a rattling ring!

I would highly recommend him. Plus he is hilarious looking.

I got Ronoronos at a half-off deal four months ago, when my baby was four months old. It was a hit from day one. He loves the ring the best, especially now that he's teething, but I have noticed that he also likes to chew a little on the softer legs too. One leg has a squeaker in the heel,another leg is a rattle, and another leg is just plain. The tail pulls for the vibration feature, which always makes my son smile.

This is a pricey toy and not machine-washable, but we love it.

I ordered the dog activity toy. It's alright, though over priced for what it is. The worst part is that the tummy part of it is a Super Rough burlap! Who puts a scratchy rought burlap patch on an otherwise snuggly baby toy? I will be returning it and exchanging it for perhaps one of the stuffed animals instead. Rough scratchy fabric does not belong on a baby toy, sorry...very disappointed. So glad I purchased through Amazon, they make returns easy and their customer service is amazing :) Thanks Amazon!

Playskool Mr. Potato Head Toy BROWN

I bought this for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas. I wasn't sure she would even like it but ever since we opened it she keep asking for her "Mr. tater head!" This is definitely a classic...been around for years. I would have given it a 5 start rating except some of the pieces, especially the arms can be tough to put in.

The back door compartment falls off easily and it is difficult for my son (18 months) to get the features in & out. He does like playing with it though but gets frustrated a lot with the door & pieces.

My 6 month old twin boys LOVE this toy. They enjoy the attenae and feet, for playing with and chewing on. They like that they can grab the toy firmly by the ring that has the beads. The teether tail is also a big hit. We've also seen them teething on the attachment ring, which is a convenient shape for them to hold onto. We should have bought two, because our boys enjoy this toy so much. It's a big hit.

I received this cute toy from a friend of mine with the Eric Carle book at my baby shower. My 4-month son LOVES it but scared us tremendously the other day when he began CHOKING on the antenna. This toy is a lot of fun and very durable, nothing came off of it. However, like most kids his age, he loves sucking and chewing on things. As he was sucking on the antenna, he twisted the toy upside down and let go of it, causing the 2-inch antenna to get lodged down his throat. THANK GOD my husband and I were sitting right in front of him at the time, because he immediately began throwing up and turning bright red. I never thought that would happen and it scared me half to death. PLEASE be careful with this or any toy that you think your baby might be OK with. We thought it was very safe and, for the most part, it is. But I don't believe there was a choking hazard warning on this toy and I just wanted to share our experience so other parents would remain cautious.

Most of us have read the story of a very hungry caterpillar. This toy is cute, well made, and seems to be enjoyed by the baby. It clips on the stroller or car seat, where you need but the space in the clip is a little wide that it can slip if pulled hard enough. The 3 beads on the caterpillar are pretty hard for a little teething mouth in my mind. The green chewing piece on the end of the caterpillar isnt flexable which I was hoping for. Other than these little minor things, its an excellent quaility of colors and material. My little girl is fond of the caterpillar antennas as her chewing spot, its the softest spot on the toy.

16 dollars is the suggested retail price! This item sells for 16 dollars at target and it is made by the "B.Toys" brand. That being said, it's a great bath toy and it's impressively big. We bought it as a birthday present for our daughter who loves boats and baffs and feeshes. Gonna write up a better review once she opens it but just wanted to let you guys know that manufacture's suggested retail price is 16 bucks.. paying 40 for this is absurd!

I bought this toy at Target. I really like the color palate and all the components including some functional components like a comb, nail brush and bathing cups. I like how all the parts fit inside the boat for storage. It is fun to play with. Our friend's four year old really loves it and can easily hook the fish with the fishing rod. Our 10 month old even enjoys playing with some parts like the cups and the captain of the boat. It is not very durable though, we've only had it for a couple of months and the wind-up wheel on the ferry is broken, as well as half of the tails on the fish. The wind-up wheel snapped when I was winding it, so if you do get it, be cautious about winding it up too much. The fish tails are just a little fragile. Two of them have completely snapped off and the other two are fractured. Only the fish that is also a nailbrush is not showing any signs of wear and tear because it is made of sturdier material. If you are looking for durability this is not a good purchase.

I am currently in the process of trying to get a hold of their corporate office after the blue & red paint on the stern-wheel part rubbed off onto my baby's body and onto my hands when I removed it from the tub! My son is a very busy little guy. He won't stay in one spot very long until he starts whining to be picked up. This boat, however keeps him entertained as long as I need. When I'm getting ready in the morning to go to work, I sit him down on the bathroom rug, and put the boat in front of him. Within seconds, he has ripped to top of the boat off to find all the little fish inside. He loves to grab a fish in each hand and put them in his mouth. He then loves to click the fish together or on the boat itself to make as much noise as he can. During his bath, we use the stackable cups which have little holes like a shower so water goes through. He loves to feel the water with his hands that pours out of them. I have more fun fishing with the rod than he does, but I'm sure he'll grow into this. I did, however, decide to put the fishing rod away unless I'm actually sitting with him playing due to the shape of it for choking, or eye injury concerns. Every piece is made of very sturdy construction, and will probably last longer than you'll need it to. You will not be disappointed in this toy!

VTech Splashing Songs Ducky Bath Toy

This toy is terrible. So terrible, that even the duck tries to put himself out of misery by flipping head-down into the water within seconds. That may sound a bit morbid but it actually was a bit depressing to put this thing in the water only to have it capsize, go silent, and just float feet-up while my 1-year-old just stared at it like, "um...what's up with this thing?!".

This toy doesn't DOOOOOOO anything. A lot of the techy toys our son has received seem to be almost too complicated so I thought for sure there was more to this one, I just had to figure it out. Nope, it really just does not do a darned thing. The feet move side-to-side manually so I thought there must be something that makes them move/swim in the water...NOPE.

It is an embarrassment actually. I feel bad that someone spent money on this as a gift. Don't make the same mistake they did!

With this being a Vtech toy, I though it would be great. Unfortunately it was a waste of money. The only thing different the duck does when it is in the water compared to out of the water is sing a different song. And if you get it's head in the water it stops singing and the lights stop blinking. The feet will move from side to side, however it's only when you do it manually. Please do not waste your money.

Do not waste your money. My son got this as a gift and it is pretty cute and works okay out of water. In the tub is another story. it has a sensor yes but it switches off if submerged and you have to keep hitting the button for it to keep playing. I would have given this toy 4 stars if it wasn't for the fact that the polyester stuffing come out of the pillow in the form of little fuzzies, straight through the casing. I don't know if I have a defective one or if they are all like that but since my son is at the age where everything goes into the mouth, this is pretty worrisome to me. I told him I wanted the name Sarah and for an extra 8.95 he would add a picture: I chose a "Pony". he sent a bill saying that said I owed him the cost to Sarah (this was the correct agreed upon amount). + he said I owed him 8.95 for the "

PONY" which was never sent....I was so upset because she loves ponies. To further upset me he charged another $8.? for "a change" which was never discussed. My daughter has an 8 letter name so I was determined to get her a name puzzle to help her. She's not even 2 but she enjoys puzzles so I figured why not? I ordered this puzzle b/c it was the best value but I had some concerns..........until it arrived. Some of the reviews complained about the finish....our puzzle was VERY smooth, there isn't any way she could get a splinter. Actually, the wood couldn't be smoother. There is no finish on the wood which I prefer. My daughter still puts things in her mouth on occasion & I don't want her chewing on urethane. This truck appeared to be one of the bigger, soft Tonka's I have bought in the past. For the price, I expected it to be much larger, but it fits in my 19month old son's hand! *Do not pay more than $5 each for these. I paid 3.99 each for them at Toys R Us and Walmart.

*They are made out of one solid piece of rubber, so the dump truck doesn't dump, the tow truck doesn't tow.

*They roll GREAT, we take them to the park and have a blast racing them down the slide.

*since they're made out of rubber they don't hurt to step on, and don't do much damage when crashed into things!

All in all I would buy these again, but not for the prices listed here on Amazon.

I'm writting this strickly from my Grandson's reaction and he absolulty loved the Bath Buddies. The items were good quality construction and were fun in the tub.

The Bulstrode boat fills up with water very quickly, but also tips over very easily. My kids like the Thomas squirt toy OK, and the sieve provides some fun. On the whole, though, I'd say pick another bath toy for the price.

I purchased this 16 months ago for my 2 year old daughter. I read the reviews and everyone said it runs small so go bigger. They were not kidding. I put my 25 lb 2 year old in the size 4 and although it was big I was happy I went bigger. Fabric is cheap-ish but the look was adorable. I put my son in a fish costume and they went out as a pair.

The fabric is flimsy and makes the whole costume look cheap. Very poorly made!!! I returned it as soon as I got the package and got a similar costume with much better construction and material at Target.

PINTOY Pull Along Hedgehog

This toy seems extremely durable and is very cute. I'd give it a solid five stars if it did a little more while being pulled. It does wobble and make a little clacking noise that gets the baby's attention.

This little pull toy is wonderful. It is very durable, it's paint has not chipped at all even with being stored in a toy box with lots of other toys. The string is a nice length. It's back is made with moveable pieces of wood that click together but do not click together while being pulled along. I really like this brand I wish there were more Pintoy toys in the United States. Wonderful company that makes durable high quality toys. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My Precious Baby Educational Bubbles

I purchased these balls for my 11 month old for the bathtub. I was looking for bath toys that don't squirt so he could hold onto them or suck on them and not get any germs or mold into his mouth. The idea is excellent but the execution is very poor and the description is vague an misleading. This bee has NO rolling, wobling or fluttering ACTION as described; all it does is light up and make noises. The bee rolls, wobles and flutters alright, but this is a PASSIVE motion that needs to be provided by you (or your baby). I bougth this bee in search of a similar toy that actively moves and rolls when activated by the baby inticing it to purse it and thus learning to crawl after it. One would figure it trivial for the guys at PlaySkool to make this critter crawl. Please let me know if you know where I can find the real-deal crawling-bug I'm looking for.

My grandaughter loved this doll. I bought it for her when she turned 1 year old. She drags it around the house still 6 months later. The colors are bright and inviting. The doll is made very well.

Love this doll! It's a good size for my 2-year-old. Got it because I wanted to teach her about dressing and undressing. After looking at many dress-me dolls--so many bad ones!--Haba's line seemed by far the best in many ways (quality, cuteness, size, clothing design). I don't regret my choice! My daughter really enjoys Lilli. She doesn't seem that interested in dressing her yet, but she plays with her every day. Very sweet.

Skip Hop Treetop Friends Busy Bead Tree

I purchased this for Christmas for our 13 month old son. He LOVES the discovery boxes with the different activities on 4 sides and something similar to the bead tree on top. All the discovery boxes I was seeing were very expensive so I decided to just buy the bead tree. It is smaller than I had anticipated and he does not really play with it because it is so small; he is able to pick it up and walk around with it. It was also a little pricey but the quality is great and the colors are nice. Maybe this would be better for an older kid?? Instead of this I would recommend the Discovery Box by Educo for $30..it looks way cool.

This toy is really adorable and the wood beads and metal loops seem to be excellent quality. My DD loves to sit at the table and play with the beads. Super cute in the room too.

I purchased this crocodile for my 13 month old baby boy, for Christmas. It is a beautiful toy. I keep it in our leaving room. I love the vibrant colors and the fact it is a very "nature friendly" product, safe for my baby. I also love the fact that when he grows out of it, the crocodile can be removed from the base and just be used as a pillow :) My son is still a bit too young to be interested in it, and he does not walk yet, but he often climbs on it and if I sit him in it, he is just rocking and happy. It may take him a few more weeks but it is coming. It is also very well designed and built, the different fabrics are nice and the overall quality is more than great. The wood is also wonderful, so much better than plastic!!! Anyway, I would purchase it again. It is simply a gorgeous toy!

We bought this for our 9 month old son (disclaimer: he is in the 97% for height and weight so please do take that into account) for Christmas. He LOVES it. He fits the rocker fine and can lean back on the tail if he likes (although he is fine grabbing the handles). It is very low on the ground, so if he falls off, the impact would be minimal. I chose the Crocodile Rock for my grandson's 1st Birthday. It is so cute and very versatile. Soft and plush, easy to crawl on for a toddler and very well made. Nice that it comes apart for washing and can later become a stuffed toy when baby outgrows the rocker. I was very please with this cute toy and the baby loves him!

My mother got this for my 11month old son for Christmas this year. We put it together as soon as it arrived and had to put him on it just to see how he would react to it.He loved it! It was so funny to watch him try to rock it back and forth. I can't wait till Christmas is here and he can play with it again! The only reason I gave this item 4 stars is because while my son was on it rocking, my hand got smashed under it which makes me leary of other little ones around it while in use.

Chicco Shapes and Sounds Tambourine

My daughter loves this drum. It has fun sounds and songs and the little drum beats are great! I like the fact that this is a shape sorter, musical instrument and rolling toy. My daughter loves to dance to this and instead of dropping the shapes into the sorter she likes to bang them together in time with the music. I did step on the shape sorter lid and it did crack along the bottom "seam" but hasn't affected the toy at all; I used a little super glue and it's good as new. Overall a great education and versatile toy!

I work with children and this toy provides a fun opportunity for them to practice their eye hand coordination, simple shape recognition and also just play some music (which all kids love). A good toy for the toddler to preschool set.

My son received this toy for his first birthday and he loves it. He started grooving to the different tunes the music side plays, and he plays the drum pad, too. The shape sorter is great too, and we used it a lot to teach shapes. He was so excited when he would get it right (triangle block in the triangle shaped-hole) he would clap for himself, then pull off the top, dig out the blocks, put the top back on again and start over. I would definitely recommend this toy for a one-year-old.

My son recently had his first birthday and this Chicco Shape Sorter and Drum was one of the presents. One side works as a shape sorter. My son shows no interest. When placed on the side, it will roll like a drum. It gets a modest amount of rolling. If the other end is placed up, then it becomes something of a musical instrument. It has a face on a yellow circle which receives a modest amount of bashing and responds as a drum. The other smaller buttons will respond with a variety of tunes, programmed drum rolls or assorted sounds. My son likes these the best. He has several such musical toys and loves to compose segments of different tunes and sounds into one long concert. This Chicco toy has quickly become one of his favorites compositional tools. I can easily recognize the different sounds made by his different toys, and this toy has been receiving a lot of play. I expect the interest to taper off as the novelty decreases.

One part of the toy is an odd-shaped club, which supposedly is to be used as a drumstick. It gets a lot of use, on the drum and everything else. All in all, I would regard this toy as cheap plastic junk, but the kid enjoys it.

My son really liked the shape sorter...in the beginning. He now likes to put everything in there...and if they don't fit through the holes, he knows he can just remove the top piece. The drum is OK. It plays 3 different sounds and has a couple songs that play. It's very upbeat. My son mainly uses it now as a toy bin....but he has had fun with it.
