This is the toy that has been replaced twice. Our child is a teen now and still loves it.

Slick's adventures started out at a supermarket in Piscataway New Jersey where he would register hop on a daily basis. From Piscataway he headed West bound for New Mexico. He saw many sites on his journey across the states. He went from PowerGas in Dunellen to the Arch in St. Louis to the Ozarks to Texas oil refineries to ancient ruins to the VLA and White Sands. But he didn't stop there! That was just summer 2007... In Winter 2008 Slick headed West again to spend 3 months camping in Death Valley California. He stayed in Las Vegas and the Sierra Nevadas! Slick camped all over the 3 million acres of Death Valley including a nudist colony in Saline Valley. Don't believe me? I've got the pictures to prove it. Lifefactory 2 Pack Multi Sensory Silicone Teether

This product has been a life saver. We couldn't find a toy to help relieve my teething 5 month old. I tried all kinds. I tried a cold rag. I used the liquid filled teethers. I bought a rubber one. I tried everything it seems. I purchased the Lifefactory Teether and to my surprise she loves it. It is a great texture. The silicone is thick enough to hold up but still so flexible. It is the perfect size for small little hands. She can easily maneuver it around to her mouth. There are 4 different textures to keep her interested. This is the only toy she will take out of the freezer. It isn't filled with any kind liquid so it isn't too cold for her hands. We would be lost without this toy. It goes everywhere we go. It also comes with 2 making it easy to put one in the freezer.

I really liked this teether for my baby and even gave one as a gift. Six months later I noticed that the teether was cracked in several places. Fortunately no pieces came loose before I noticed it's condition and took it away. Had a chunk come loose where it was cracked my baby could have choked. It is easy to grab and has nice different textures for teething, which would have made it great. But it became a danger to my baby with normal use.

Update: I emailed Lifefactory and they sent me new teethers. Good customer service! Hopefully the teethers will hold up this time.

I LOVE this teether, and so does my 6 month old son, Ezrah. It's SO SOFT and very bendable. I would HIGHLY recommend this teether as a main teether for your little one. After having little or no success with other teething rings/items, I started shopping around for new ones. Other teething items seem to be awkwardly shaped or big and bulky and though our baby is teething, he would work a little on some of his other teething rings/items but would get frustrated and end up chewing on his hands. He LOVES these rings. They are the perfect size. He can hold onto them easily and they are flexible and he can thereby get them into his mouth easier and position them and move them around to the areas in his mouth that need attention. He even enjoys just playing with them, even more so than some of his toys. To some extent, thy have replaced his binky as well and he'll even fall asleep while gnawing on one of these instead. We take them everywhere with us and he is a happy camper.

Be aware that these cartridges are for the "V.Smile Baby" learning system. They will NOT fit in the original "V.Smile" learning system.

My son is 2 years & 4 months old. He sees his big sister playing her V-Smile and wants to do it too; so V-Smile Baby is great for him. After 2 times playing with him and showing him how to do it, he can now sit alone and play for about 10 minutes. That is a lot for his age!! This is most useful though as a adult and child together toy.

I will say that all the V-smile Baby cartridges cover the same topics (numbers, shapes, colors) and I won't buy more becuase I am approaching this as a learning toy, not a TV time.

My older daughter did not like this game when we got it at age 3. Too babyish for her. This is just right for 2.5 years old.

Lalaloopsy Deluxe Crumbs Sugar Cookie Costume

I have a child with Autism, who desperately wanted this costume. The wig came out of the package with dirty marks all over the pink curls, most of which were unravelling, and also had dirt packed into the skull cap of the wig. For those unfamilar with Autism, an obsession is the ultimate focus. There was no way for me to return this gross item that I spent $35.00 on without screaming and tears multiplied to the 100th power. I cleaned the inside part of the wig, digging dirt out with my nails. EXTREMELY DISGUSTED. If I had a neuro-typical child, I would just return the item and demand a clean replacement. If I had the option to include images, I would bc I took pictures immediately as soon as we opened the box and plastic bag holding the wig. The dress and shoe items were not too bad but the hair/wig is just unacceptible. VERY disappointed. Cannot stress that enough as a single parent on a budget.

The costume itself is very nice. I bought a size 6 for my granddaughter but the wig was very hard to put on her head and keep it on. She was going to wear this costume at her birthday party but we decided to sent it back because it was too hard to keep the wig on her head. The dress and shoe covers are cute and nice quality.

My only complaint is the yarn on the curls of the hair seperate and you can see the white mold under neath.

Lights & Sounds Butterfly

We have a 25 year old profoundly retarded (and that's a perfectly good word!) son who loves things he can push and get music from. Normally I check to make sure that no matter how often he pushes a button -and it is often repeatedly -the tune will continue playing until done. But this little butterfly doesn't. If he pushes it once, the tune plays, and then pushes it again, it stops. At first he threw it down in disgust (it withstood that treatment beautifully) and then picked it up again and tried again. For him, it may well be educational as it may teach him to wait for the song to finish before pushing again. For Chris, that would be a major learning thing. We have a lovely little granddaughter of about a year old, however, who finds it boring already. All you do is push the button and lights and music come on, play, and stop. You push again and the same thing happens again. For Chris, this is great. For our granddaughter, she's already past it at a year.

YOU MUST KNOW THIS! My 7 month old daughter got this in a family Christmas stocking recently. She likes this toy but within a few hours of having it the paint on the antenna of the butterfly began to peel/chip off (she has 6 teeth and may have bitten it off). I can not let her play with it anymore because of swallowing the hard paint chips... very disappointing because it is a cute toy.

She loves touching and playing with the colors and lights. it really catches her attention. perhaps a few things: I wish it had a volume control, the bow could be a little larger, although the current size makes babies focus on small things more when they have to look for them. Hape Color and Shape Sorter

This is a simple, elegant toy but can teach a lot of concepts small, medium & big ... colors ... or shapes. So there are levels of play as kids get older. My boys are 18 months old and can sort the shapes pretty easily now but are working on trying to stack the blocks on each other and can point out colors. It's quite attractive and colorful too. My boys ignored this toy until they were about 14 months old though and then got quite interested in it.

I used to be a Montessori Instructor and my 17month old son adores this shape sorter. He can already grasp the concept on which shape goes into which slot.

I think I paid to much for what I got I wanted something more feminine for my baby girl. I am convinced that the amber helps but the Rose Quartz was for aesthetics as far as I was concerned. But the rose quartz is really just white. I found one on ebay cheaper for my son that was graduated and the clasp always stays in the back because the heavier/larger beads are at the bottom. There is also a large gap between the last bead and clasp. -Multiple regrets. Nevertheless, she wears it constantly, therefore, pays it no mind. The one time she found it I took it off and subtly put it back on while she was busy playing another time.

Got this for a teething 9 month old miserable baby. She seemed to do better when wearing it for a length of time. I am a paranoid parent so I never let her sleep with it on, and I guess it's a good thing because one day I looked over at her and she had somehow leaned her chin down and got it inside her mouth and it was stuck like a gag. Not really a problem as long as the child is supervised at all times. I actually would try to put it on her when she wasn't really paying attention in the hopes that she wouldn't know it was on and that worked for most of the time.

We bought this for our son when he was 5 month old, he is 7 months old now and it is still his FAVORITE. He loves the songs and squeals with delight when they play.

He doesn't know the button yet, but it's nice for him still. A peek-a-boo feature when you close the top down and open it, interactive buttons, and a little ball roller which is easy for my son's little hands to play with. 5 stars from us. :)

There is nothing wrong with the product, and it will definitely stand up to the abuse a toddler can dish out, but I would go for something a little more advanced that a child won't grow out of so quickly. The best part about the toy is that it will say "peek-a-boo" when it is open and shut.

We first bought this when our son was 9-1/2 months old. At the time this was still a little advanced for him, but he loved opening and closing the lid and spinning the spinning rattle. It was a little difficult for him to open by himself at the time, but he opened it easily if I held the bottom part for him.

By the time he was around 11 months old (give or take a couple of weeks) he could open the top all by himself, and purposely push the buttons one at a time his favorites are the light up yellow star and the blue circle music button (he loves music). We rotate his toys, so he does not always have access to this one, and his face lights up when I pull this toy out for him to play with. One of his favorite things to do is open and close the cover Scout's voice says a variety of related words when the cover is opened or closed (open/close, hello/goodbye, on/off, peek-a-boo).

I think he will enjoy this toy for a while since he hasn't learned shapes, colors, or numbers yet (the five buttons teach shapes (square, circle, triangle, circle, star, heart), numbers (1, 2, and 3), and colors (green, blue, orange, yellow, red). Scout sometimes asks the child to "find the orange triangle" and other similar questions, and responds with praise when the correct button is pushed.

As far as durability, this toy has withstood the abuse of a toddler for the past three months (chewing on the ears, leaning on it while open, throwing it across the room, and I'm sure he has even stepped on it), with no visible effects, so I'd say it's a pretty durable little toy!

I bought this for my daughter, who had a birthday ball for her 4th birthday party (a fancy title for a typical birthday party). Her favorite princess is Belle, and she loved it. It fits really well, is floor length on her so there is a little growing room. She is about 40 inches tall and 35 lbs. She can put in on by herself as the bodice is stretchy and there are no buttons or zippers. She has worn it a lot in the last month and it has held up despite being worn for hours in a moon bounce. From all of the other "Belle" dresses I researched, this one seemed to have the most value for the price. We have not been disappointed.

Did I get the same dress that is pictured on the website? The dress is pretty, but you should realize they make it look as good as possible in the picture. Actual dress is not as pale yellow. It is a bright yellow, not gold like Belle's actual dress, but yellow. The skirt is not full like it is in the picture. The whole thing can fit easily in an 8x10 mailing envelope. Don't get me wrong, the dress is pretty and my daughter will love it, but it does seem very cheap for the price. The price should be closer to $20 for what you get.

A very much loved aspect of this dress up dress. I can throw it in the wash and hang it to dry afterwords and it's good to go again.

Only a 4 star rating as I'm still quite baffled at how my daughter was so easily able to fiddle with the roses on the belt line and they came off, re sewed them on for no problems, but she absolutely adores the dress.

This is such a cute toy. Although it's rated for 18 months + I bought it for my 8 month old grandchild and he loves it. This toy is cute and funny and silly, and it will bring a huge smile to the face of your toddler, guaranteed.

That being said, be advised that it is made of solid hard plastic, not soft or squishy in the least, and it weighs about three poundsheavy enough to make an impact, but not so heavy that a child can't lift it. Be advised also that as the batteries start to die, it takes more than a gentle push to get the thing going; you have to actually pick it up and throw it down on the floor. Thus, when you are sitting on the floor, and your child picks it up and slams it down, and connects with your ankle bone, and you are subsequently rolling around in agony, remember not to use any profanity, and not to blame the kid. It's just how the thing works.

My baby loves crawling around after this crazy ball. It is so cute. The ball is very entertaining. I am glad I bought it because my kids have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of it. It is very unpredictable and you really can't guess where it will go next.

I purchased this little monkey blanket for my son mainly based on the fact that I had found it cute. He latched onto this thing right away, we cannot leave the house without it. He loves to hold the little tail that it has as well as the little arms and legs. I was a bit optimistic about spending so much for something so small, but I have to say its very well made very durable and sure it will hold up just fine, its already had a couple trips through the washing machine since we purchased it. I would gladly purchase another one, and I might for my 3 year old who seems to be just in love with this as her little brother.

So cute I bought with the oval roller and the pop up roller! My 4 month old loves them!

My 7-month-old likes this toy and plays with it a for a few minutes at a time on a fairly regular basis. It's very small and I was a bit surprised, but it's easy for her to hold on to, makes a little noise and it's perfectly fine. Not her favorite, but it's in the mix. The quality is great ans the wood is smooth and it feels very solidly put together.

Giggling Elmo Costume

Once my son got used to it, he didn't mind wearing it. He hates hats and hoods,but he wore it like a champ on Halloween.

Previous reviews state that even though it's advertised as 0-6 months, it's actually 12-18 months. We ordered anyway because we have a larger 7 month old and decided to take our chances. It is terrible that even after the reviews, no one has fixed the product description. I thought maybe it was just a fluke that the wrong size was sent before, or that the product was just labeled incorrectly....but the packaging clearly says 12-18 months and the costume is most definitely not for an infant.

Also, the package was open with costume hanging out when I opened the box.

It also has one broken snap, so we will have to fix that since we don't have time to return it and get another one.

This is supposed to be a brand new item that we paid full price for...description incorrect, out of package, and broken snap really ticks me off. Yet on the plus side, it is an adorable costume..nice and light for babies who don't want big heavy costumes on their heads...and the Elmo voice box is a very cute touch that makes our little boy laugh.

It is 12-18 months, and Amazon didn't just send me the wrong one after I got it I called the Sesame Street store, and they said they don't even make it in a 6 month size. Needless to say, it is way too big for my 5 month old son. It would have been very cute, though, if it came in the correct size.

This pool, like most or all on here, has a regular bottom. My Mother0in0Law had gotten one last summer for a little less from a local store and it lets you inflate the bottom, so there's more cushioning for the kiddos. I really wish this had it, but it seems most if not all on here don't. It did well our first time and I expect it to be fine the next times.

We opened the package up this weekend, and it is the perfect size for a few kids to splash around without breaking mom and dad's back filling it up with a bucket. Don't know how durable this is since we've only used it once, but at this price, you can't go wrong.

This pool + 150 play balls = awesome ballpit. I have yet to test it out as a pool, actually. I blew it up once when I got it and it has stayed inflated ever since (maybe 2 months??). My husband and I bought this pool for to use as a ball pit for our 12 month old daughter. So far it seems like a good blow up pool, and we love the color's of it much better than the one shown in the original pic. We did not have a pump to blow it up with but it did not take long at all (aobut 10 min) to blow it up by mouth (we took turns). We bought 200 play balz to fill it with and for her age that is plenty, but we will add another 100 balz when she is a little older.

vtech Fly and Learn Airplane

This was one of my sons favorite toys.... until it just started to repeat the same song over and over again. I contacted vtech and they told me to change the batteries (didnt work) or to return it to where it was purchased (without packaging or recipe yeah). So I will contact them again as they said they would help me if either of those suggestions didnt work out. I anticipate that even a replacement will only last a few months. :(

*** Update after a couple months back and forth with VTech. They are not interested in helping replace the product. I finally got them to exchange the item (they are out of stock on this one), but they required me to insure and ship it to them. Its just not worth the cost or effort to get another one of their faulty products. Steer clear of this manufacturer. ***

I bought this for my six month old son a month ago. Two weeks ago it started to just repeat nonstop. The only way to get it to shut up is turn the power off. He wouldn't be anywhere near it so I figured out quite swiftly it was not his wondering little hands playing with the buttons. VERY disappointing purchase. I would recommend you search a little longer and don't settle for this toy.
