This costume is soooo cute. It is true to size and not cheaply made at all. I was not sure of the quality of this costume before I bought it but I am so glad that I did. Very cute costume. The hat didn't stay on well at all, but I just sewed a couple pieces of black ribbon on the under side and was able to tie it on with a cute little bow. I also bought a little stuffed parrot for my daughter to carry around with her, it was adorable!

my son was dressing up as Jake from the Jake and the neverland pirates and i thought it would be cute to dress up my 11 month old as a pirate as well. the costume is so cute and it fits so well. i love that it is one pc that easily zippers on. quality is nice for a costume. so many times i buy costumes that barely last one day. the one con would be the hat doesnt stay on. i wish it had an elastic headband or some sort to keep it on. otherwis egreat buy!

Infantino Bug Buddies 2-in-1 Activity Mirror

Nice toys, but the mirror is too flexible and therefore when you look in it you feel like you are drunk. We covered the mirror part up with a picture of us instead, so that our son can still paly with the toys.

I ordered this mirror because it was compact and had a cute bug theme. When I received it I couldn't believe how distorted the mirror was. I know it has to be a safety mirror but what use is it if the baby can't tell what they are looking at. It was worse than a funhouse mirror. I returned it because I didn't want to risk my baby's vision.

I got this mirror for my son's crib, and to be honest he never engaged with it in the crib at all. When I took it out and gave it to him on the floor, however, he thought it was awesome. He likes the rattle in the dragonfly and the reflective surface. I like the sturdy construction and light weight that makes it safe for him to play with.

As others have stated, the mirror portion does look like you are in a fun house. It is a cute mirror but if it wasn't a hassle to return things, I probably would have.

Perfect. Nice size, not overwhelming in the crib. The mirror is not an actual mirror, but a safe reflection, totally funtional. Be sure to take off the plastic protective cover. The colors are vibrant and attract the attention of our baby. The bugs are attached with velcro and a string. We cut the strings off so our baby could play with the toy. It frustrated him, that he couldn't take it off. We bought this when he was an infant, he's nine months now and still loves it.

Soft Velour Shapes

I bought this set for my son when he was about 5 months old and I have been thrilled at how he has enjoyed it as he has passed from stage to stage.

At first, with limited mobility, he liked holding it or looking at the bright colors. Once he was crawling, he started batting it across the room with his hand, then chasing it excitedly. Now that he is starting to throw things, I am glad that this soft, plush ball is a favorite toy, because it can safely be thrown without hurting anything (or anyone).

The ball is soft and light, making it easy to grab and lift with one hand. It has a quiet bell inside which is fun for him but not annoying to me.

Admittedly, he has largely ignored the cube, but this set was well worth the very affordable price for the ball alone. It has given our son hours upon hours of enjoyment. When he comes into his playroom, it's often the first thing he looks for. It's nice knowing that anytime he's getting cranky, I can just pull out the ball and he'll be smiling and playing.

Sometimes the simple toys are the ones they love best. That's certainly been the case for our boy!

As a new mother, I thought this ball and cube set was adorable. The recommended age was 3mos+, so I imagined it being perfect for my 3 month old daughter and expected her to actually *play* with it. Consequently, I was very dissapointed when all she did was clutch the toys and took no interest when I rolled the ball and cube towards her. At around 6 mos, I gave up on her liking them and I packed them away for the next baby only to pull them out a few weeks ago. Now, at 18 Months of age, she is nuts about them! Throwing them into the air and bouncing the soft colorful ball across the floor to me. I was amazed at her interest and came back here to check on the review I had written months ago... when I discovered the age span was 3mos 2 years. I wish I had known that last year! To sum up, if I had known then what I know now, I would buy this set again only I wouldn't expect to see her actually playing with the ball and cube til she was older. I guess the only advice I can pass along is, the recommended age seems to be set very young and don't worry if your baby is really not interested... because someday, he or she will be. :)

The best toy I found and the best price. You get 2 toys for the price of one. I have twins so this is beyone value. I have used this toy with my twins since they were 2 months old. At first I would hold the ball for them to look at and hear (there is a bell in he ball). Then when they started to use their hands I would roll the ball slowly up her front, when she would get both hands on the ball I would let go & cheer her for 'catching it'. Since I have twins the other would have the cube in her lap to look at while I played 'catch' with the other one & then I would switch. Now that they are on the floor and holding things the cube is great. When on her back the cube stays easly on her tummy while she is holding on to it, also she can hold it easly while she rolls to one side other other (they also get a kick out of it whey I sqeeze the cube over their tummies because it crackles). While one twin has the cube I can have the other sit in my lap and have her reach for and grab the ball to get her use to having her arms in front of her (helping her learn to prop herself up to sit).... Who knows were we will go with them next.

My baby who is now 8 months has always loved this set, especially the ball! When he was younger he would grasp it between his legs! Now that he is older and crawling, he LOVES to chase it all around the house! He plays with this toy more than any of the others! I like how it is soft and rolls so easily.

My daughter LOVES the ball. Since she was 6 months old she has loved to sit up and play catch. Everytime I pick up the ball she smiles because she knows we are going to play one of her favorite games. This toy is on my Top 5 toys list.

Sesame Street Beanbags

This is a cute little toy that toddlers will like to play with. It is small enough that they can hold it without a problem. One thing a buyer should be aware of is the eyes on the doll. When I first held it in my hands I immediately noticed the round hard plastic eyes sticking out of the head. This gave me pause that it could be a choking hazard if they were to break off. However, both eyes are stuck together making it harder to choke on. Also the eyes are pretty well secured to the body so they aren't likely to break off. Just a word of caution that you might want to be with your little one when he/she plays with it.

My 2 year old son has all of these characters and loves these toys. I love that they are small enough for him to carry around (he never goes anywhere without at least 2 of them), affordable and they are durable also. We've washed them several times and they still look great.

Fisher-Price Soothing Motions Glider

My wife and I were deciding between a Fisher Price two-way swing or this two-way glider as our "tool" to help put our newborn to sleep when she's less than cooperative. In the end, we decided on this "glider" because of the ability to pick it up and move it around. Here are my thoughts: (1) at first, I thought it was more like a solid infant car seat with a motor attached beneath. It is not. It's just a hammock draped over a tubular metal frame--quite flimsy. But it gets the job done. (2) The arch from which the toys dangle is NOT a handle that you can use to move it; it's just a non-weight-bearing tube from which the toys dangle. To move it, you grab two handles at the ends of the seat. (3) The motor is much quieter than what I expected after reading some of the reviews here. Maybe in a very quiet room, the motor noise may be noticeable. But the "noise" is never annoying or intrusive, and it doesn't disturb baby. (4) The faster of the two movement speeds is probably about right; any much faster and baby's head would get jolted back and forth. The slow setting is very slow. (5) The seat is rotatable 360 degrees, so the back-and-forth movement is not just limited to 2 positions. (6) The music tends to be on slightly louder side even on the softer setting, but it's not a big deal. (7) As with all such seats, baby's back is slightly arched, and I'm not sure it's healthy for baby to sleep long term day in and day out in this posture. But for calming baby to put her to sleep, it's fine.

My wife and I went back and forth between this and the portable swing ( fish theme). I am so glad we chose the glider. My son LOVES it. He has hated his crib from day one so the only thing that gets him to sleep through the night is the glider. I wish they made an adult sized one sometimes, it looks comfy and the gliding motion is pretty smooth. The motor might seem a bit loud but I think my son finds it soothing. It runs fairly constantly and we are only on our second set of batteries (first set was cheapies and they still lasted a decent amount of time).

This is one item I would buy again!

Much like the other reviewers, our son was only able to sleep in his car seat or swing (due to reflux) and for no more than a two to three hour stretch at night. I saw this glider in an insert in Baby Magazine and hoped it was the answer to our prayers. It was! The first night we tried it out our son (eight weeks old) slept for six and a half hours!

Nearly two months later he is still sleeping in it for eight to nine hours a night! We have a "mini co-sleeper" attached to our bed and the glider fits in it perfectly. If he starts to stir or is startled by something, I just reach over and turn the glider on and he falls back to sleep!

Since we bought this glider, we have gone out of town twice and did not even consider leaving it at home. Yes, it is big and not the easiest thing to travel with but the sleep we get each night is well worth the trouble. He will be four months old tomorrow and I am dreading the day that he outgrows it. Hopefully by then he will have also outgrown his reflux.

The Soothing Motions Glider is wonderful and we credit it for the return of our sanity!

The good: The gliding mechanism in our unit has lasted six months. I never thought it would make it that far! The sound quality of the music is very good. This is a very good little bed for newborns, I must say.

The bad: The gliding motion is too slow even on the fast setting (icon of a hare versus a tortoise, or low). To actually rock a baby to sleep the gliding needs to be faster. There is no calming vibration option, a huge omission.

The ugly: I would say the correct price for this glider is $45 or less.

I bought this for my tall 7 yr old who wears size 8 clothes. This costume was even too large for my 10 year old. I think it might fit me and I am a grown up. The return was not easy, and I had to pay shipping. Also, we could not figure out how to make the light turn on.

the costume is fine, however I ordered the medium size 8-10, labeled for ages 5-7 and it is far too big-it almost fits me (I am 5ft 2in). The seller would not replace it without charging shipping charges again so I am very disappointed with their customer service

Everyone said this costume was too big but I didn't believe it. I bought the smallest one available for my son who is 4 and half. He is average size and has a spiderman costume from Costco and Target and it fits perfectly. This one is waaaaay too big. It is sloppy actually. I would suggest if your son is 6 or 7 consider the small unless he is BIG. The picture might show a small. My son nevertheless loves the costume so that is the upside!

My son loved this costume. Fit great & was the perfect weight for our weather on Halloween. He was able to wear it over his clothes, still have movement & run around like a nut.

This is such a cute toy. Although it's rated for 18 months + I bought it for my 8 month old grandchild and he loves it. Initally, when we turned it on; he didn't know what to make of it but after watching it a couple of times --in action --he scooted all over trying to catch it and when he did, he smiled that million dollar smile. This toy is cute and funny and silly, and it will bring a huge smile to the face of your toddler, guaranteed.

That being said, be advised that it is made of solid hard plastic, not soft or squishy in the least, and it weighs about three poundsheavy enough to make an impact, but not so heavy that a child can't lift it. Be advised also that as the batteries start to die, it takes more than a gentle push to get the thing going; you have to actually pick it up and throw it down on the floor. Thus, when you are sitting on the floor, and your child picks it up and slams it down, and connects with your ankle bone, and you are subsequently rolling around in agony, remember not to use any profanity, and not to blame the kid. It's just how the thing works.

Little Driver

I am so dissapointed as we purchased this for my 15 month old for a car trip. The first one had a button that wouldn't work despite putting in new batteries and since it was the song button and that was why we bought the thing I sent it back and ordered a new one. The second one that we recieved didn't work at all except for the one blinker light that would stay on when we tried new battereis.

So a cool toy if the stinkin' thing would work at all. My son was instantly interested in it and wanted to play, but alas no new little driver toy for him. I don't feel like dealing with strike three.

Thank God it's easy to return items from AMAZON.

When I received this toy in the mail it didn't work. It must have been broken before or during shipping! There were no sounds at all. I tried 3 different sets of batteries besides the ones it came with it didn't work at all!

Thank goodness I tried it, as this was to be a Christmas present. After sending this broken toy back, I found the exact same thing at Walgreens for $6.99!!!! The Amazon price was way too high at $19.95.

Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Cookie Shape Surprise

My daughter is only 5 months, but she really smiles at this toy. It's got 4 shapes that fit into 4 different holes (circle, triangle, square, and heart). Every time a toy passes through the hole, it starts singing a song (pretty clearly). The toys drop into the center and they can pull them out and start over.

You can press the top of the cookie jar and it will sing songs as well.

The shapes don't have sharp edges, so I don't get nervous when my daughter puts them in her mouth :)

Kids love this toy. I think in the actual product description it mentions that toddlers can be entertained by this toy for hours and I find that to be quite true. The interactive nature of the toy, the songs and sounds that pour out of it and of course the sorting and shapes are all very engaging. Truth be told this is a fairly sophisticated toy--and they love it. We tend to favor educational toys and this product really hits the nail on the head with that effort. It is impossible to interact with this toy without engaging in the learning process. I would recommend this to parents. Educational toys are typically a little more expensive, but this toy is a great price. Compare it to Toys R' Us type prices and you will find it very reasonable.

Shape shorters are wonderful things. You can use them to teach colours, to teach shapes, to teach small motor skills and now, with this toy, task rewards. You push the shape through and it plays a little song.

We gave this to a friend of ours with a kid who's less than a year old and he had a lot of fun with it, even though he lacks the ability to really get the shapes through the holes.

I had originally picked this out for my new baby, I thought for sure that my 2 yr old was way too old for this "baby" toy, but boy was I wrong. He loves this cookie jar and repeatedly asks to play with it. He loves trying to Make the shapes go in the holes. So while it's great and entertaining for little ones, don't be surprised if your toddler loves it too!

This toy is cute and entertaining, though it falls short of being outstanding. The sounds and shapes are entertaining for young babies from about the age they learn to sit (roughly 6 months.) It has the put-in-take-out aspect for when they go through that stage, and works as a shape sorter when they become old enough to figure that out. Then the songs will help with learning counting and the alphabet. I think most children will find this a bit babyish by the upper end of the recommended age (36 months) but even my three-and-a-half-year-old wanted to check it out for awhile.

I have only minor complaints. One is that the toy centers around cookies, which for me isn't a huge obstacle but also isn't my favorite for babies at an age where I wouldn't feed them a cookie. Then again, the shapes don't really look like cookies so I doubt it matters much. The other is that the cookies/shapes tend to get lost easily since the front is so open.

Personally I lean away from the category of toys with batteries and jingles, preferring things like basic shape sorters with more shapes and toys that require more imagination as they get a bit older. However, the sounds do help keep a baby interested at a younger age and for longer, so they do have a place in our toybox. Within its category, this is a pretty decent pick for a baby.

My First Puppy - Blue

THIS IS BY FAR MY SON'S FAVORITE STUFFED ANIMAL. HE HAS HAD IT SINCE HE WAS A FEW MONTHS OLD AND HE IS NOW OVER 3. HIS "DOGGY" IS HIS BEST FRIEND. This puppy is very cute but it is much smaller than the picture makes it look. It is just a bit larger than a beannie baby animal. I'm not saying thats a bad size but I didn't want any one else suprised the way I was.

I gave this ultra-soft puppy to my grandson. He sleeps with his blue puppy every night. I have read that some other reviewers were disappointed that the puppy was smaller than they thought it was going to be. 4, This mirror PLAY MAGIC!! ----I placed it beside my baby`s changing pad and my baby noticed it very soon ( my baby was only 10weeks then ), he used to be fuzzy when he was changed diaper but since the day he notice this mirrior, he never cry at all when I change the diaper, but instead, he always talks to the mirror and smile too!

6, and after I reviewed other people`s review here, I found this mirrow may also good for my baby`s tummy time, so I purchased one more and tested it. The result is that, this mirror PLAY MAGIC AGAIN!

my baby used to cry or fuzzy when in tummy time(could not bare even 30 second), but now, this mirror can help him to enjoy the tummy time as long as 10 minutes.

7, last but not lest, this mirror can stand very sturdy with a triangle wide open design.

We wanted a safe mirror for our little one to play with (5 months). This fits the bill perfectly. There are a few things that might be minor annoyances, but are good for him.

1st pro/con: it folds flat/it collapses! This totally depends on your point of view! Those medium blue colored triangles are simply flaps of fabric. This is great for storage, but... I honestly thought it might be a pillow wedge thing, and it isn't. There isn't anything interesting on the second side either. (and there is no third side of the triangle. And yes, I recognize that the flaps are technically two additional sides... just go with it!)

2nd pro/con: it has taggies! Each of my children has LOVED tags on their toys. Steiff? Tag in ear? nom nom nom! Cheap plush with tag? nom nom nom! Random shirt from the laundry with tag? NOM NOM! So I knew that the Taggies concept would likely be tag overload, but in a good way. However...

I noticed it 8 years ago, and it's true for all the subsequent children, too. No matter how many tags, they will ALWAYS go for the product tag. The one that is a little different, that isn't the ribbon. It usually has the washing instructions on it. That tag gets the most chewing.

3rd pro/con! It's lightweight! So, my 5 month old can manipulate the whole thing. And my 5 month old can easily knock it over and lose interest. This kinda cycles back to the fold flat thing. A casual swipe and it's folded flat. Out of sight out of... SQUIRREL!

Finally: the "seahorse" on the left of the mirror has the crunchy sound. The fish on the top right has a quiet rattler in it. The green whale at the bottom right has a squeaker that my 5 month old cannot manipulate in it. But hey, it gives me something to do.

This mirror is easy setup and remains set-up. I use it for tummy time for my grandson who usually dislikes tummy time, but the mirror is a big help in keeping him happy. It is colorful and the taggies are a bonus as he tries to reach for them.

The Mirror reflection is not the greatest quality, but its big and it sits up sturdy and my 4 month old definitely likes tummy time a lot better now.

Sometimes it's the simple things in life like doodling that can make us so happy. Especially when only 24 months old. My daughter just got this as a gift at her 2nd birthday party last week, and from the moment we took it out of the packaging it's been a HUGE hit!

At first I thought the different "markers" drew different colors, but they don't. You simply put water in them and they allow your child to draw on the board and the drawing fades so they never get bored or need a new sheet of paper. Since you're just using water (which by the way, doesn't spill, not that I would mind if it did) this toy is 100% mess free. It travels easily in the car. We already took it with us on an hour drive this week and it entertained my daughter the entire trip.

There are two handles, and two sides to draw/doodle on. It's very sturdy and good looking, very durable. My daughter loves art and coloring so this was absolutely perfect for her, but I do believe any child would get a lot of enjoyment out of it. We also have the Crayola "Color Wonder" travel kit with the mess free colored crayons & paper, etc but she loses interest in the Color Wonder so fast for whatever reason she loves this toy SO much more.

This toy is wonderfully SIMPLE, while at the same time bringing my short-attention span toddler a LOT of entertainment. I'm a huge fan as a parent I have to recommend one of these to other parents everywhere.

Sorry--but I have to say this toy didn't pass for ANY of my three kids--18 mos now and twin 3 year olds. I bought this as a gift for the youngest because the twins had SO many toys from that age group that this was one they didn't have, so I went for it. Also, the AquaDoodle was SUCH a HUGE hit for the twins, I thought this would be similar. NOPE! The Aquadoodle got MUCH MUCH MUCH more use. The only perk with this is that it comes with FOUR water "markers" and it dries fast. However, the travel Aquadoodle or the poster one (AVOID the PAINT BRUSH ONES...they leak) have gotten HOURS AND HOURS of use where this just, quite literally, SITS! I try to bring get the kids to play with it but they get bored pretty quickly with it. Another great idea for NO price almost is to give your kids a paint brush and a cup of water and let them play outside. yes, water paint--HUGE HUGE HUGE hit. No mess and they can paint walls and the ground. ALL of my kids LOVE the water painting--I guess it is a similar no mess idea but without any cost. They have $1 paint brushes at any hardware store. good luck!

Just a wonderful, well thought out sketch board! Bought this on Clearance @ Target and my kids haven't put it down....including my 12 year old!

Interesting that it uses water pens (4) that have nice compartments to keep them in when not in use. You simply sketch on the both sides of the board, which is made of a canvas type material, colored purple & orange). The sketch lasts for about a minute and then, wala, it disappears! It's nice for your preschooler to practice their letters, words & numbers (which is why I bought it).

I will keep looking for toys from this company -I'm loving them. Also bought the Pop-Arty beads and my daughter loves them too. A++++

I was really excited about this toy for my toddler, but within a day the board was dirty and grease stained. I made sure my son was only using the little water pens, but he would stick them in his mouth first, or grab something while playing with it, and the boards got filthy. The idea is great, but I couldn't clean the surfaces, and ended up returning it. Maybe it would work better for slightly older kids.
