Elmer the Patchwork Elephant: Rose Bean Bag by Kids Preferred

My daughter likes very much Elmer, and this toy is OK, but there are 2 things that bother me..

1.The toy has a purple ribbon that's not there in the book and

2.Despite of knowing the size, there's no way getting an Elmer toy and a Rose toy in the right scale both of them (like in the book).

Other than that, It's really educational for kids!

Gund Mellow Schnoodle Dog 10" Plush

Aurora Plush Baby inches Blue Boy Lamb

I have two nephews. One is 5yo, the other is 8mo. While the 5yo got lots of Easter candy, I hate to leave the babies out. So what do you get a baby for Easter? Their very own little "Lamb of God". In blue and cream this is softly masculine, perfect for a little boy. The bow is a ribbon (blue stripped) that goes all the way around the lamb and is securely attached (well sewed on). The ears underside is also blue stripped. The style as a whole strikes me as somewhat victorian and very lovely!

This toy was tugged one, pulled at, and chewed for the last two weeks and no fur has come out, nor threads have loosened. It seems very durable to me!

Everyone always comments to me about how cute and soft "Baby Blue" is. That is his name, since I have another lamb, similar to it, called Blueberry, or "Blue". :) Very nice. Good for small children, because it is so soft.

I bought 2 of these teddy bears for my twin granddaughters (in different colors) as Christmas gifts. They are excellent quality and look beautiful. My granddaughters are only 3 months old, so I don't know yet whether they will cherish them, but years ago my mother bought my two daughters Gund teddies which they still have to this day, so I'm sure my granddaughters will love them.

If you can afford Kathe Kruse products are great. Keep your eyes out for Haba toys too. Most are still made in Germany, but some are now made in China. Don't risk your babies health with anything made in China or India. Buy American or Western European!

BeginAgain Earthworms - Green

I asked for the BeginAgain Earthworms grab and twist toy for my son since he likes wood toys. This is a pretty durable toy, the earthworm segments move very nice and smoothly even after being played with pretty hard by my little guy. And it's cute! It's eco friendly; made from rubberwood. My son had a lot more fun playing catch with it than just twisting the segments; but that's what imaginations are for, right? We'll get lots of use out of this toy, from this generation to the next. Munchkin Muddy Pigs Bath Toy

Very cute bath toys. My sons (3 1/2 yrs & 11 months) got this for Christmas in their stockings. Very cute how the mud "goes away" in the warm water and comes back when it is out of the water. I just didn't know that they could "squirt". I was trying to purchase all bath toys that don't squirt b/c I was sick of the gross mold that grows in the toys. But I used a hot glue gun to seal up the hole before it went in the water and so far it has worked. All in all a very cute toy. Definitely recommend!

We bought these pigs for our 2 year old daughter... she was actually just over 1 when we first bought them. Now she understands more about the pigs when they are dirty and how to clean them. She loves these little guys. They are very cute! The only downfall is they are meant to squirt water so you have the mold issue on the inside. However, that can be fixed by a little hot glue in the hole. :)

I got these for my 16 month old. The mud fades when hot water is on it, but does not disappear. My son likes to nibble on their ears, and where his teeth have been, the paint has scraped away, which means he ended up eating it. So the 'mud' will probably wear off pretty quickly if your kids play often with them. My son likes them because they are a good size to hold, they float, and yes, he can chew on them. They squirt water out of their mouths, but if you tip the water into their head at the end of the bath, you can squirt it all out with none left behind. I always empty his toys of water when he's done playing with them. I give them a four because the mud doesn't actually fade more than halfway, and scrapes off really easily.

As cute as these little piggies are the mud DOES NOT fade away!! We have the dirty dogs and the mud fades almost away with warm water...it's enough to get the effect and have fun washing them...the muddy pigs don't fade at all...very disappointed.

1. The paint went off when we gently washed the pigs before the first use.

2. The mud spots don't fully disappear, so it must be a disappointment for older children.

3. They don't float upright, only drift sadly on their backs :(

The only negative thing to say about this bunny is that it is traumatic when the bunny needs to be washed, as my daughter loves her Wubby so much.

When bought, there were no dimensions listed in the product description which should have raised a red flag for me. When it arrived, I was very disappointed with the size, which was puny for the cost. I'd estimate that an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper is quite larger than this item. Definitely not worth the cost or quality.

Tolo Toys Stacking Activity Shapes

The is a good, durable toy that our 10 month old twins (boy & girl) keep coming back too. They have had this from about 7 months old and it continues to be a favorite toy. There njoyment with it is changing as the grow and I can see that it is a developmental toy.

As a stacker, they pretty much just love to knock it down right now. I has also helped our with son's crawling development...we will set it up across the room and he crawls to get to it.

The size and feel of the toy is great and this is a good learning toy as well with colors and shapes. Ther are many different versions of this type of toy out there and I am sure all are fine, but I would recomend this Tolo toy.

Very good quality, has many ways how and what teach your child. Very sturdy and durable plastic, excellent colors. You have to be prepared to spend some time with the kid just playing and teaching colors and shapes.

Summer Infant Disney Winnie the Pooh Hunny Hive Bath Toy

My daughter loves Winnie the Pooh, so I thought this toy would be the perfect addition to bath time. I was so wrong! No matter how we angle the toy, the wheel does NOT spin and is useless. Now it just sticks to the side of the bath for decoration.

This product is durable as well as cute. My granddaughter loves the way the wheel spins when she pours water into the Hunny Pot.

While I am a huge fan of Disney, and Winne the Pooh in particular, this toy really fell short at bathtime. The toy has to sit at the exact right angle in order for the flowing water to hit the spinner and make it spin. Even when it is suction cupped to the wall, most of the time the water doesn't make the spinner spin, which really frustrates my son.

Also, I wish the spinner behind the bee was colored. Because it is clear, it isn't very visually stimulating, and very hard to see.

Philippa Doll

My older daughter received HABA Doll Clara for Christmas and my younger daughter (4 months) loved playing with Clara's hair. So I decided to get a different doll for my baby girl. We received Philippa (or Pippa) and after a couple days decided that she wasn't for us. Here is why:

Philippa is close to 15 inches long (with the hair). She is heavier than Clara and I did not think she would be easy for my younger to eventually carry around (or should I say me, in the diaper bag). Also, I thought that her face did not look quite as cute in person as it does in the picture. Clara's face is spot on. Philippa's headband, elastic, overalls, and shoes are removable and I think she would go through the wash just fine (although I would probably use a mesh bag). All of her facial features are embroidered, so no worries about paint peeling off. Her eyes are a darker blue.

The craftsmanship of this doll is fantastic and for the price, I think it's a great buy. Especially in comparison to other Waldorf style dolls that go for much more. If she was the only one offered from HABA, I would have kept her without thinking twice. We decided to go with "Elise" instead, based on the size (12") and her adorable face.

This doll (and all others we looked at in this line) are made in China.

Sassy Discovery Loop Baby Teether Toy

I have liked the other toys that this brand has (like the Sassy mirror). However, my 15 week old daughter scratched her face on this toy. The place where the inner ring attaches to the outer ring has a hard, sharp surface. The scratch didn't draw blood, but it was visible on her face for more than a day.

Not much to say except that it's great for those babies who start teething very early and lack high grasping skills. Our son started teething at 3 months and would hold on to this thing and chomp away. Eventually he realized it worked as a rattle and shook it. He's seven months now and loves Sophie the giraffe more now, but in those early days this was his favorite above all others. For the price I'd say i twas worth it.

I am not sure why my daughter likes this toy, but she has fun with it. It's a source of constant entertainment for her, especially since she is teething and the textures feel good against her gums. We keep it in her diaper bag so it is with us wherever we go.

I had been looking for more balls for my ball popper to replace the ones we had lost. These were the right ones and the price was fair. The balls arrived in a timely manner and worked with the ball popper just the way they should.

Little Tikes 2 in 1 Farm Sort and Stack

My twins received this as a gift. They weren't ready for it when they got it and I considered exchanging it because I already had a different shape sorter but my husband talked me into keeping it. I wish that I had exchanged it. My kids are now 15 months old and hardly ever play with it for several reasons. Putting shapes into a horizontal wall is very difficult. Really the only way that they can get the shapes in is to put the toy on its side and this makes the silo part of the toy useless. But the silo part of the toy is almost useless anyway. The center tower part comes off VERY easily and my kids won't and can't keep it in place to stack the hay. I think that they have literally put one of the hay bales on the center pole once.

The only saving grace is that for some strange reason the center yellow pole that the hay bales go on is a favorite toy around here. They walk around with this strange thing and love it.

The toy is cute, but there are much better and more functional shape sorters on the market. I recommend that you look elsewhere.

Yomiko Bulldog Sm 9" by Russ Berrie

My boyfriend loves bulldogs, so I bought him this for Valentine's day. Normally he doesn't like plushies, but he adores this one and I am very happy with the purchase. Yomiko Bulldog is super cuddly, soft and very lifelike. His little rolls are so realistic. If you are hesitant about buying this, don't be! It's worth every cent.

Haba Cuddling Mouse Marit Teether Toy

I mistakenly thought that all Haba toys were made in Germany. Some are... but this one came with a "Made in China" label on it. To be fair, it does say this on the product page but I didn't notice that when ordering. Otherwise very cute. I detached the teething ring that came with it (snap allows for this) and replaced it with a safer silicone teething ring.

My 4-month-old loves her little Marit and she falls asleep clutching her almost every night. I've thrown it in the washer once so far and laid flat to dry; it held up great!
