My baby has loved this toy since we got it! I bought it for her when she was just 2 months old... I saw it in Parents Magazine rated very good. I ordered it and haven't been disappointed! She's 10 months old and still loving this!It was really cute and I think my 8 month old son would've been entertained by it, but it didn't work. I tried replacing the batteries to no availno music, no lights, so pretty boring.Monday, May 19, 2014

Moo & Baa Pacifier & Rattle Holder

Buy Moo & Baa Pacifier & Rattle Holder Now
I love Haba toys, so when I found this pacifier chain, I eagerly ordered it. It is really cute, and my baby liked playing with it, but it ended up being quite impractical. First, as other reviewers have noted, it is super difficult to loop it onto the pacifier. Took me about 15 minutes of working at it to get the cord over all the wooden toys.Second, it's not very long, so if you don't clip it in exactly the right spot, and baby turns his head, the pacifier pops right out of his mouth! So we ended up never clipping it because of this, and we just used it as a handle.
Third, if your baby falls asleep with the pacifier in her mouth, this chain can end up uncomfortably pressed against her face. I always had to swap the pacifier with another one that didn't have the chain on it once baby fell asleep.
In the end, we would have been better off using a ribbon-style pacifier holder.

Once our baby found her fingers, pacis and thus the paci clips cycled quickly out of use. But for the short time we used this, we thought it was really cute... a little bulky and heavy for a younger infant, but probably great for an older infant who can get some entertainment out of it and it's easy to retrieve out of a crowded diaper bag.Monday, March 24, 2014
Little People Fun Sounds Crane and Quarry

As with all Little People sets it's a complete playset on it's own or you can use it in conjunction with any other Little People sets you have. All the people are interchangable in the vehicles, seats and houses.
The girls love this crane and find it easy to use. As with all Little People it's easy to keep clean, hold, play with and is great fun.My son received this toy when he was 19 months. He played with it constantly--he loved moving the crane arm up and down and was easily able to do so by himself. Now at 2 1/4 yrs. old, he still loves this toy but is able to play with it in a more complex way. He also has the Fisher Price Little People dump truck and incorporates them in his play with the quarry. This toy is a great addition to your other Little People and is also a great toy all on its own. It's also very durable, easy to clean and small enough to take to grandmom's.

This is the worst little people toy we have. It doesn't do much at all, and the sounds it makes are too easily triggered, and annoying. I wouldn't buy this again.Read Best Reviews of Little People Fun Sounds Crane and Quarry Here
This looked cute at first but there's not much to it. My 2 year old has only recently started playing with this on a regular basis and we've had it over a year. Usually it's his little plastic Finding Nemo characters that are using it as a house. And he likes to use the claw to throw his action figures around. I had to take the batteries out of it since every slight movement turns it into an ear wrenching experience. My son has actually told me to make it stop. But it's not all bad. It's just very basic and the noises it makes are terrible. My little boy (2 1/2) loved this toy when he first got it two months ago. My biggest complaint with the toy is that it has such obnoxious sound effects that go off with the slightest little movement. (Really, I think that sometimes it might go off just by looking at it the wrong way!) I probably wouldn't keep it around if my boy didn't like it so much. I suppose most toys are noisy, and most don't bother me, but this one does.Sunday, March 9, 2014

Thinkativity: Little Storyteller

The toy is certainly well made and is easy for him to handle. It is colorful and has enough buttons and spinning blocks for significant interaction.I bought this for my friend's son's 1st birthday. What a hit it was with him and all the other kids, and even parents, at the party (some kids were 3 years old). Everyone enjoyed creating a different story and hearing the fun sounds and music. I have bought all 3 Thinkativity toys for myself or friends and they have all been a big hit.So far, my 17 month old daughter has not shown that much interest in it, but that is not the toy's fault-she likes to grab her favorite real books and sit in our laps and have us read to her. But I think that she will grow into it over the next few months. I myself like the idea-she can sit and create her own stories while I get stuff done around the house, or perhaps while she is in the car seat (now that I've thought of it, I'll try that).

Earlyears Pound n' Play

Buy Earlyears Pound n' Play Now
While keeping all four balls with the toy has proved a little squirrelly,my 13-month old loves this toy and it holds his focus much better than many other far more expensive items. It's easy to keep clean with a wipe down and it's versatile in that my son plays with it in different ways (balls through holes with hand, using the hammer, rolling the balls across the wood floors and fishing them out of the plastic box or out of anything else he can drop them in. An excellent choice for a baby with rudimentary motor skills and a passion for plastic hammers! We purchased this product for my son's first birthday. It is a decent toy, although he received a better toy that essentially does the same thing. The balls on this toy are a little hard for my son to push through the holes at the top. He still does enjoy playing with it, but I would recommend the Fisher-Price Sit Up & Pound Arcade over this toy. The balls are much easier for a one year old to push through the holes and it has fun music each time the balls drop.We bought this toy for our nine-month-old who likes to beat on things. For that it's super. She does have to hit the balls pretty hard to get them to go through the holes and she isn't so much interested in that yet, but she'll grow into it. I would say to be careful, however, because she has gotten her hand stuck in the hole trying to pull a ball out. She started to whimper and I looked down at her to find that she had shoved her hand into the the hole to pull out a ball and, because she wouldn't let go of the ball, she couldn't get her hand out. The thing is like a raccoon trap! Other than that, however, it's quite good. I love that it's entirely kid-powered with no batteries or obnoxious noises.Tuesday, October 22, 2013

[Award winning] Kidsme Food Feeder (Small size)
![[Award winning] Kidsme Food Feeder](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31pzzAl7K9L._AA200_.jpg)
Also, my wife and I both agreed with other reviewers here that this product is much more easy to use and clean to use (less messy when compare with other similar product). we are getting one for my brother-in-law baby as well as this will make our cute baby happier than ever!
great product and money well spent!I bought this feeder because my 6 month old son always was grabbing at my food and trying to eat my apple, pear, etc when I was eating and he has always stuck everything in his mouth since he was really little, probably partially due to teething. He has taken right to using this and it keeps him happy for a while when we are in public and I want to wait a bit to nurse him (by the way he has never taken to a pacifier but took to this the first time). During the hectic mornings I give this to him with slices of fruit and he happily feeds himself breakfast while I get my other son ready. It's super easy to clean and transport I just take it empty and pack an apple in my bag and then bite of a piece for him when he gets hungry and let him chew away. I only wish the handles were a little bigger as they seem a little small to me, but this hasn't caused an issue for my son holding the feeded on his own. Thanks Kidsme for a great product!

I should have checked the reviews before buying. Most reviewers only have this 1 review. Hmmm... Anyways, the holes are too big and too many for young infants. My 5 1/2 month old put it in her mouth, nibbled once, then gagged. I tested it and found that quite a bit comes out. I can just squeeze the feeder and see too much gushing out. It's good portion for babies used to solids, but not for ones being introduced to solids. Maybe for an older infant it might be better? Grandma noted that the gagging might also be due to the length of the silicone portion (too long). The length would be fine if the width was wider. The width is about an inch...ummm that means babies can shove the whole thing in their mouth. I truly don't suggest this for 4 months and up like stated in the product description...more like 7 months and up. Pros: It's a good concept. It was easy to clean. Daughter held it easily in both hands. Hope that helps with anyone considering to purchase.Read Best Reviews of [Award winning] Kidsme Food Feeder (Small size) Here
I was really excited about getting this food feeder because my 5 1/2 months old baby liked sucking on fresh fruit (like apples or pears) but i was always scared that she might choke on it if a big piece gets in her throat. I tried to put pieces of apple in the feeder and give it to her but she didn't like it and just spit it. You have to really squeeze it to get some fruit come out. Maybe it's because my baby never took pacifiers or bottles, she just doesn't like any plastic stuff in her mouth. The feeder looks very cute though and easy to hold for little hands. Also it's easy to clean. I'm hoping to try using it again when my baby starts teething. Who knows maybe she'll take it and as well as a bottle eventually.Want [Award winning] Kidsme Food Feeder (Small size) Discount?
The size of food you can fit in here is the top joint of a finger. It's *almost* small enough to just give a young child that size... so to make this more useful, I might go up to the bigger size version of the same product. (Note-I started using at 6 months. Maybe I'd prefer this size if I really was starting at 4 months, as the product is labeled for).Saturday, August 24, 2013
Fisher Price Rumble and Learn Driver with Lights and Sounds

Buy Fisher Price Rumble and Learn Driver with Lights and Sounds Now
Wow. This item was given to me by a neighbor who was moving and just getting rid of baby stuff and am I ever glad to have it. Starting at about 6 months, my baby was really into this toy. He could roll over and push the knobs and make sound like having a second jumperoo but on the floor. I also used it to help him learn to sit independently I'd prop it against a wall so he could use it to support himself as he played with it. He loves it!!! It buys me a lot of email-checking time. I'd recommend it to anyone.Read Best Reviews of Fisher Price Rumble and Learn Driver with Lights and Sounds Here
I bought this for my now 19 month old daughter several months back. I think she was around 12-14 months old. She loved playing with it & pulling the knobs, turning the steering wheel, etc. I also loved it because it was cute & fun without being annoying like so many toys are. However, within 3-4 months, it sort of stopped working. I say sort of because the "turning signals" still lit up, but nothing else. There was no sound, the steering wheel stopped vibrating when you turned it, etc. I thought it was the batteries so I replaced them & still nothing. I actually finally got around to removing the batteries or tossing it in the garbage last night. I was sad to see it go because my daughter still enjoyed playing with it even though it was mostly broken. It was also not something that was tossed around. She always played with it on the floor & is not rambunctious with her toys (thankfully!). I don't know if we just got a faulty one or whether this happens often, but you might want to check before purchasing. For the record, I did purchase it somewhere other than Amazon.Want Fisher Price Rumble and Learn Driver with Lights and Sounds Discount?

VTech - Bouncing Colors Turtle

Pros:
Price
Fun, songs and educational aspects
Cons:
Base the FP has a stronger and wider base so it is more stable. At some point my daughter was bouncing back and forth and the thing almost tilted.
Bounce the FP has more bounce than this one. This one still bounces but it is a little bit harder (maybe because it is new)
It is not a total waste of money but if you can afford the FP item I would advise people to do so. My daughter enjoys it, but she likes the FP item better.
Edit: I sold the item after a month, didn't really work and my daughter didn't enjoy after all...

My son received this as a christmas gift and he cannot make it bounce. He weighs 30 pounds and should easily make this work, but we have to bounce him on it.Read Best Reviews of VTech - Bouncing Colors Turtle Here
We received this a year ago so we've had a decent amount of time to use it. It's okay. The bounce isn't very bouncy, like other reviewers said but my daughter still seems to get a kick out of it. The interactive bits on the handles aren't anything I'd write home about, but again dear daughter isn't complaining. I did find it to be pretty sturdy though. She's not a crazy bouncer but the kid actually stood up on it once and that sucker didn't tip. What scared the ever loving crap out of me was the fact that this thing starts giggling on its own when it's running out of batteries. There's nothing creepier than hearing that female giggle in the middle of the night when you're entire house is asleep. NOT COOL VTECH! As the battery ran down more it would giggle more and more and changed from being creepy to just annoying. You can only hear that friendly giggle so many times before you want to poke yourself in the eye just to have something else to think about. I kept turning it off but sweet pea daughter would turn it on and then walk away. So it was a constant "gotcha last" game of who could get the switch and leave it.
I know, I know. Just change the batteries! I did eventually and learned my lesson and there was no need to bring in psychics or priests.I have a one year old and a two year old. They have both loved this toy. It is a little hard to get a good bounce on it. The two year old can do it but the one year old can't. It will sing little songs and it has games. You can turn the sounds off. Mostly this toy will get climbed on. It is almost impossible to tip this thing over. It is very steady. The face is very cute and my little girl loves to feed it. I would buy this one again in a heart-beat.

Parents Record a Voice Cellphone - Assorted Colors

Buy Parents Record a Voice Cellphone - Assorted Colors Now
Maybe the quality of this phone has changed, but we got one for my daughter when she was 2 -that was four years ago (2005), and aside from having to replace the batteries, we've had no trouble with this. She still plays with it. We also never had trouble with the recorder. The most annoying thing about this is that there's no off switch, so sometimes it will randomly ring from the depths of the toy box.Read Best Reviews of Parents Record a Voice Cellphone - Assorted Colors Here
This phone is one of several my 20 month old grandson owns. This is the one he really plays with. It's realistic enough to keep him from taking mine, and you can record a message in your own voice. It is not too loud and has held up to many dropping incidents. The only improvement I'd like to see would be the ability to make a longer message, the phone only holds a few seconds worth.Want Parents Record a Voice Cellphone - Assorted Colors Discount?
I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. This is a fabulous toy. My two sisters have this toy for their kids and it is a big hit. I've also given it as a gift to several friends for their one-year-olds. It's great because Mommy and Daddy can talk into the phone, and the kids just love to press the button and hear their voices coming from the phone--over and over again! Our phones have not broken, either. The voice quality isn't superb, but it's good enough, and it's great for the kiddos to pretend to chat on the phone like Mom. We love it.
