We have been using this toy for about 3 weeks, and out 6 1/2 month old absolutely loved it. Then, yesterday, one of the 'balls' came off and got lodged in her throat. Thankfully my husband was right there and was able to get it out by hitting on her back...but if he had left the room for a minute it could have been disastrous. We have checked that they were secure every time we handed her the toy, so it was not already loose. It really is a shame. I expected Haba toys to be better made-

My baby is teething and we have offered her a variety of biting rings and toys. None of them appeal to her as much as this one. She chews on the ring and the balls all the time. I am paranoid about one of the balls coming loose, but I check them each time and thye seem really sturdy on there. Plus its a german product, wood, natural.

I got this from a friend as a gift and my baby loves this toy! We don't leave the house without it. She loves to shake it and chew on it and stretch it. She especially loves to chew on the the cloth "flower petal" like part on the head. The cloth part can stretch if you really tug at it but in the two months my baby has gummed and pulled on it daily it hasn't come off once.

I really like the look/materials and construction of this toy. But was shocked to see the actual size. My daughter never really took to it. When she does play with it, the balls go right in her mouth so it does require a certain amount of supervision but they seem very secure. It's a really nice toy, I'm just disappointed in the lack of play it has received.

Teamson Kids Noahs Ark Potty Chair

My son is my first to potty train. I have had a hard time with it so far but once I got this chair things have been going much smoother. At first I had a small chair in our bathroom, because our bathroom is small, but he kept saying he wanted to go potty but really he just wanted to get into the stuff that was in the bathroom. So I bought this chair and set it up outside the bathroom so when he wants to use it, he won't get distracted. Putting the chair together was really simple and only took me about 30 minutes. I used a screw driver and everything went together quickly. It's colorful and high quality. I didn't use the rockers on the bottom or the wood board to cover the potty hole but I plan to use them later on. I really like the rack and toilet paper holder on the sides and so does my son. I have bought quite a few different potty chairs and potty seats and I really love this one the best! The only thing that I noticed that was a little odd is that the rack on the side is a little too close to the arm rest so it would be difficult to put things in there like books but the rack can still be used for smaller things.

The potty chair is very pretty. But not as functional as i thought it could be. The potty hole area is too small and for the price i thought i was getting a better quality wood. A bit disappointed.

Had the chair for about six months now. The paint is cracking in the seat area and the bottom of the chair feet are flared and the paint peeling. Regret making this purchase

Saw this in the children's section of my local bookstore. So adorable! The story isn't necessarily unusual or plot-twisting, but it's very sweet. The photos are great. There is such a cute one of the mama dog with her arm over the piglet's nose. Definitely a good way to teach your children about accepting people who are different.

This book had everything. The pictures were very cute, it was entertaining, it was educational and a true story. The educational part was learning a few facts about raising pigs and puppies. I'm glad I ordered it. I have a small library for my Grandchildren. My 5 year old Granddaughter decided to check it out to take home after we read the book. Imaginarium Foam Building Blocks - 100 Pieces

When my daughter was 1 we purchased wooden blocks for her. On more than one occasion the blocks managed to get under feet and injure someone in the household. That being said, we gave away the wooden blocks and purchased these. We've had them for four years and they are still in great shape. They have had hours of play. They stack well, retain their shape and color and don't hurt when you step on one. This was one of our best purchases for our daughter, who still plays with them.

The product is not as described. It is described as 100 Imaginarium Blocks but the blocks are made by Verdes. They are smaller and less colorful than Imaginarium Blocks. Also, they cost $44.99 and you can get 100 real Imaginarium Blocks at Toys R Us for $22.99.

This review is based on my Toys-R-Us branded set of the Imaginarium 100-piece blocks.

These blocks are durable and colorful. However, they are not uniform. The blocks are uneven sizes, perhaps 1/4" different between pieces. Big deal you say? The problem is that my 3-year-old is enthusiastic about building towers and castles but she can't get a structure of more than a few pieces tall before it falls.

I gave it a shot and did only marginally better than she did. Since the blocks are not identically-sized, any building made with them leans after stacking two or three on top of each other.

In my opinion, it is a detriment to have the child play with these because she thinks it is her own fault the tower falls down.

My recommendation is to buy a higher quality set or wooden blocks.

My 12 month old baby loves these cups. As soon as I opened these, he was fascinated. He discovered right away how to put the cups inside eachother. It seems that I could have gotten these much sooner. I had been looking for a long time for cups made from bpa-free plastic because I wanted him to be able to play with them in the bath and I knew that he would put them in his mouth. I couldn't find any. He can't play with these in the bath, but they are great. The colors are so bright and the wood is very durable after many times being thrown to the floor. A previous reviewer mentioned that they have a strane taste. It is true, but my husband assures me that this wood and finish (milk paint it seems?) is very safe.

This is such a simple, yet versatile toy. This toy has been used to practice stacking and unstacking, to knock over towers, to put things in, and with the upcoming developmental milestones I am sure it will be put to other great uses. An absolute favorite and it is looked for during each play time. I would purchase this toy over and over again. Love the colors and durability.

I was coming to order this as a gift for a young nephew and after reading the reviews, I wanted to share our experience. I approach toy buying with a quality over quantity approach. My daughter received this toy when she was about 9 months old. It got used a lot until she was about 4. In combination with Grimm's Small Wooden 6-Piece Rainbow Conical Stacking Tower, Made in Germany and Haba Baby's First Blocks (or some other colorful blocks) there are a lot of possible ways of manipulating and arranging. Now that she's 6, these occasionally get used as bowls for feeding toy animals. They're really a great size for small hands.

As far as the quality of them, I'm sure you could break them but we always taught our daughter to be careful with her toys (or tried to). After 6 years the colors still look lovely and if anything they've gotten smoother over time -though they were quite smooth to start.

Another reviewer mentioned Melissa and Doug. At a public playroom we visit we've gotten to see how their "wood" toys hold up. They're all made of engineered wood which after the finish is abraded you can see that they're more glue than wood.

Bought for my Grandson, absolutely love this, has so much fun popping the sticks up. His favorite toy right now.

The toy is well constructed but I was somewhat disappointed with it. The disappointment stems from my misreading of the description of how the toy operates. I thought the people moved up and down as the toy was pushed but they remain stationary. The "pop up action" occurs only when the child holds the people down, then lets go. However, my sixteenmonth old and three-year-old grandsons seem to like the toy.

My 14 month old got this from Santa and he is in love with it. He carries the little people around with him and thinks it is SO funny when they get popped. It seems durable enough, the only concern I have is it looks like the paint isn't that durable.

I purchased 150 balls in June and was very happy with the product. This filled a ball pit for my daughter, who was less than one year of age. As she has gotten older, it has become obvious that the 150 balls was just not enough. As I was very happy with my original purchase, I elected to purchased from this company again. The second shipment of 150 balls had a large number of balls deflated. I contacted the company and talked with "Terry", and requested that the damaged balls be replaced. Terry called me a liar, and alleged that the damaged balls were from the original June shipment and I was filing a fraudulent complaint with his company. Terry advised that after six months, the balls will begin to deflate (though, my original shipment has been just fine...). Nice customer service when you are a repeat customer and somone refers to you as a liar, and then tells you that their product will break in six months anyway. I have sent a picture of the damaged balls to the company, and am waiting response. Whatever the response ends up being, I would NOT recommend buying anything from this company! Nothing like someone calling you a liar when you simply want a damaged product replaced. I will update the review with the outcome of my complaint.

You'll notice similar reviews on this product from other people, and CMS regularly responds "This product was not purchase from CMS." Apparently we are all idiots and keep providing feedback to the wrong company. Look for CMS reviews on other products as well. You will see consistent problems.

We bought these for the "ball-pit" section of the Mega Playland kids toy and they were perfect. The balls that came with the playland were half the size. These large balls really are crush proof and not at all flimsy. Based on other reviews I knew in advance that these did not come with any type of carrying bag, so I purchased a mesh bag that works great. One of those mesh drawstring laundry bags would work well, but I actually ordered a mesh "boat bag" from amazon since it was black (hides dirt) and super study, and couldn't be more pleased. If you're looking for the best balls for your kid's ball-pit or play yards I highly recommend these!

We got these balls for our tunnel system because we read complaints about other balls getting crushed after being crawled/sat on. These balls are great. They definitely don't crush and are a good size. The colors are bright and good for teaching colors. The older kids throw them at each other and they're light and fairly soft so no one gets hurt. We have 650(!) of them in order to fill the tunnels but they're worth it.

Little Tikes Apple Grove Pals Farm Playset

My kids love this, but unfortunately all the parts just snap out and I'm just spending my time putting everything back together platform, doors, swings, roof, you name it... really bad design!

I just opened this up for my twin girls and put it together, over and over. The thing is pretty flimsy and the parts come apart when you're trying to play with them, even putting animals on the see-saw. The animals don't even look like animals and it's difficult to know what they are. Until you push the sound buttons and match the animal, you can't tell what they are. Also, it's a farm and it has four farm animal sounds, but only gives you two farm animals and then a zebra. Last time I went to a farm, there weren't any zebras. What's educational about animals that don't look like they're supposed to, ones that don't belong, and shoving someone down a chute to fall onto the ground? As for the bucket and hay chute, I had to use both hands in just the right way to get it to slide up, how is my toddler supposed to be able to do this? Don't waste your money!

This is based only the "car" toy in this trio. I purchased this at a big name baby store on impulse for my teething baby. He liked it well enough, however, the first time it hit the floor one of the wheels fell off, and it was the wheel that made the noise. Since he was interested only in the broken wheel we had to toss it as the wheel alone is a choking hazard. Good idea; nice colors; responsive to shaking/actions; poor construction.

Lamaze Sydney and Sandy Kangaroo

I gave this to my daughter as soon as it arrived and she immediately fell in love with it (she's almost 10 months). The crinkly parts and jangling plastic pieces were very entertaining for her, and she loves it when my husband squeezes it to make it squeak. The Lamaze toys are awesome; we have the musical octopus toy and a few others as well. The hold up well and our daughter just loves them.

Really, this whole line of toys is very cute, but I especially liked the kangaroo and panda. I decided on the kangaroo for my 3 month old daughter and she loves it. The colors and patterns really hold her interest and she "talks" to it. She's just starting to grab hold of the crinkly ears. It's also nice that it attaches easily to her crib, stroller, car seat--really everywhere. And whenever people see it, they are always saying what a neat toy it is. It really was a good buy.

My 5 1/2 month old daughter has enjoyed this toy since I first handed it to her at about 4 months. It has crinkly cellophane under all the non-red surfaces, so there is a quiet bit of noise there, and the rings on the tail make a gentle rattle. The best part, though, is that there are thick parts and thin parts, so there are plenty of good grab points, and the ears, nose, tail, and feet are all good (and apparently qualitatively different) spots for mouthing. The toy overall is a good size--not hard to find, but small enough for the average diaper bag. My only complaint is that I would like for the tether between the toy and the clip to be longer or stretchable. It is not as easy for my baby to manipulate when clipped to her stroller straps as I would like. Otherwise, highly recommended!

My son loves this toy. He has a Pup squeak and a Mortimer moose as well, and although he likes both he reaches for the Sydney much more often. He may enjoy the Pup squeak when he gets a bit older and can make it bark on his own, however.

This is a wonderful little ball pit for young children. I am a daycare provider and I rotate my bigger toys monthly. The children are always thrilled when this one comes out. They have been having so much fun with it I have kept it out longer than usual. The only issue is there are not enough balls. I bought a package of extras at another store and added them to make the ball pit just right. I love simple toys with lots of play value. This fits the bill perfectly!

This baby doll is perfect for my twin grandsons who have a baby sister and love to cuddle their own "baby". The doll was a big hit on Christmas when we gave them to the boys. Lamaze High-Contrast Bend and Squeak Toy

I bought this for my new grandson who is almost 1 month old and he loves this toy. There is a squeeker that is not too loud. There is one problem, the label that is sewn on with the Lamaze Brand is very rough. It seems that the stitching is smooth on one end, but not the other.

My 8-month-old has loved this toy for months. It took him a while to figure out how to make it squeak (which he does by holding it and thwacking it down on his leg or the floor). But he always has a smile for it and is happy to play with it.

The green fabric hasn't held up very well; it's kind of pill-y and worn. Maybe that's in part, though, because I put it in the washing machine once. (It took a week or so for all the water to drain from the squeaker! Yes, I know, it's surface wash only. Other than that, the toy survived the wash well.)

My 16-month old son just loves these cars. He is constantly playing with them and carries one of the cars with him at all times. These cars keep him active as he is constantly running after them. The cars do move with a lot of speed but not with a lot of force. When they crash into furniture or walls, there is no damage left behind.

The fact that these vehicles are very easy to clean (machine washable) is a major plus. The cars are soft and plushy, which is great if your child decides to launch it as a missle.
