Kathe Kruse 12-Inch Baby Towel with Doll, Bear

We have five of these currently in rotation. This particular towel doll was one of the first toy we gave our daughter when she was adopted at ten months old. The original as well as a lambie sit on a bookshelf, loved to patches and still needed to be looked at and handled occasionally although not loved quite as hard. At age eight she still has her lovies -lambie bear (actually two separate towels dolls but needed together in extreme emergencies), pink lambie, polar bear and bunny foofoo. These dolls are a very soft material and held up well to constant handling and many washings.

My 3 month old baby girl loves this bear. It'll be a few months before I let her sleep with it, but she likes to hold it when she's in her car seat. Very soft material.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Musical Learning Cow

I was very disappointed with this purchase. The polyester fibers are coming out from the toy (through the colorful feet of the cow). I bought this for my 6 months old son months ago but then took it away until he is not putting everything into his mouth and won't eat or inhale these fibers. I never ever had the same problem with any other stuffed animals. I wanted to return this but I had already threw away the packaging when I noticed this problem :(

Packaging states "learn about colors and opposites" and "sing along with fun songs" .....there are exactly two songs on this toy. One song includes counting 1-10 and other song mentions colors and the words "big" and "small". Age rec should be for up to 18mos.

My daughter got this toy for Christmas when she was about two months old. She liked to listen to the songs and the MOOOOO-OOOO sound. Now she is six months old and she has figured out how to rake her fingers across the cow's belly to make it sing. It probably amuses her that I know all the words and can't help but sing along with it. Like all toys, the educational value of this toy depends on how you, as a parent, interact with the toy and your child.

My son had the yellow chicken rattle and loved it, so I bought the pink one for my daughter. Now that she is 6 months old and teething this is the perfect thing to safely leave in the crib. It's not the type of stuffed animal that I have to worry about her suffocating on because of the size and shape, but I also wouldn't want to have a hard plastic teether in the crib. This is perfect. This rattle isn't as vibrantly colored as some of the other rattles on the market, but it's dyed with vegetable dyes and I like that kind of natural alternative. The rattle isn't super loud, thank heaven-cause my daughter is able to hold it in the car without the noise being too intensive for me. I have other Miyim products and I will continue to purchase from this brand, as the packaging is beautiful and I like their company philosophy.

We bought one of these (in store) floats. My son was a bigger boy for his age (30lbs at 1yr) and we kept having problems with all the other plastic floats with canopies, so we went and bought this exact float. It is totally worth the money. The net lining is awesome and its way more durable than other floats! 100% recommend this float!

I don't know why someone would rate it one star based on their bad luck with design that is the sellers fault not the actual product.

If your child is very young, small, and flails about harmlessly, this is for you. If your kid is abnormally large, independent, and strong, you're better off with floaties or they will work their way out of it and getting them back into it is like trying to push a cat into a toilet. Quality is great, it has held its air in the trunk of the car for 2 seasons now and cushions whatever cargo we put back there.

We used this in the pool and our grandson really enjoyed the shade and the floating. Our only concern was he sat low enough in the water to dip his face into the water for a "drink" and quickly discovered inhaling water isn't fun! Easy to inflate and set-up, a bit of a pain to take down and return to the carry bag. As advertised and seems sturdy enough for several pool seasons.

My mother in law purchased this for our 6 month old. He is about 26 in long, if he were smaller he wouldn't have been able to sit in it yet and be high enough above the water. He has loved baths since the first one and we wanted to introduce him to the pool as soon as possible. He loved floating around, and was able to kick himself around to move between us. The shade worked really well without blocking our view of his face. He liked that he was able to splash a little in the mesh between the floats. That was also a great place to put his toys within his reach. Recommend as a good way to help introduce a baby to the water.

This float is horrible! The canopy was so hard to fold back up and put in the carrying case it comes with. We must have done it wrong because it never fit quite right on the float again. The float was also disappointing. It doesn't keep baby upright so my 11 month old kept leaning forward & his face kept ending up in the water. Waste of $. We ended up getting the Aqua Leisure Frog with Sunshade and Aquarium Baby Float, which was only $11. My son loves it and it keeps him up right so he's not swallowing pool water.

I love this owl he is so cute! My girl thinks he is funny, and he is really soft. My only problem is you can't wash it. I know I shouldn't have put him in the washing machine but I did and he turned into a puff ball! Oops...

I bought this as a present for a friend's child who is 20 months. It is a good size, and just too cute! It advises on the tag that it is not for very young children because of the shedding. I would agree. When I pulled it out of its plastic shipping bag, it had some stray fur bunches that had to be removed. I imagine this shedding continues for a while but levels out.

This is one of the most adorable rocking cows I have ever seen. It is well made and the cow is very soft. It is a nice height for my one year old son.

I really like this product. It is nice and soft like a stuffed animal but stable enough for the baby to rock on it. My little one has not quite figured out how to use it but she loves to pet it and even hug it when she sits on it. Party Destination 164716 Super Mario Bros. Removable Wall Decorations

I just purchased these on the 20th and received them today, the 22nd, so this company is super fast. My son had a lot of fun putting these up for his birthday party. I wasn't sure about these when I ordered them because there are no measurements, so I thought I would include some.

There is/are:

22 coins-each about 2.5" x 2"

1 Mario about 8" x 3.5"

1 Luigi about 8.5" x 3.5"

1 Piranha Plant about 8.5" x 5"

1 Princess Peach about 9" x 4.5"

1 Bowser 7.5" x 10" (wider than he is tall)

There are 4 sheets with a total of 48 stickers. They really are a good value at 14.99. I wish they were bigger. I would pay double for twice the size. Another thing I might change is the white border around each sticker. They would look better if the borders were gone (about 1/8" all the way around). I might take the time to cut them off one day.

My 5-year-old son is in absolute heaven!!! He has been begging for a Mario room forever. We just can't seem to find any Super Mario Bros. borders, bedding, etc. anywhere. I just happened upon these on Amazon and thought I would try them out. While they only show 10 or so wall stickers in the photo, there are actually 48! Boy does my son have a Mario room now. It is amazing. We painted the upper half of the room a bright sky blue and made the lower half of the wall grass green (all colors were matched from Mario Sunshine booklet). The green color undulates across the wall making hills and valleys. I painted some white clouds in the sky. The quality of the stickers seems very nice (although time will tell) and they reposition well. As long as it lasts through the Mario stage, I'm happy!!!

As far as educational, my son has spent hours imagining these creatures coming to life. He has adventures and battles and all sorts of fun in his room.

I received this cute toy from a friend of mine with the Eric Carle book at my baby shower. My 4-month son LOVES it but scared us tremendously the other day when he began CHOKING on the antenna. This toy is a lot of fun and very durable, nothing came off of it. However, like most kids his age, he loves sucking and chewing on things. As he was sucking on the antenna, he twisted the toy upside down and let go of it, causing the 2-inch antenna to get lodged down his throat. THANK GOD my husband and I were sitting right in front of him at the time, because he immediately began throwing up and turning bright red. I never thought that would happen and it scared me half to death. PLEASE be careful with this or any toy that you think your baby might be OK with. We thought it was very safe and, for the most part, it is. Most of us have read the story of a very hungry caterpillar. This toy is cute, well made, and seems to be enjoyed by the baby. It clips on the stroller or car seat, where you need but the space in the clip is a little wide that it can slip if pulled hard enough. The 3 beads on the caterpillar are pretty hard for a little teething mouth in my mind. The green chewing piece on the end of the caterpillar isnt flexable which I was hoping for. Other than these little minor things, its an excellent quaility of colors and material. My little girl is fond of the caterpillar antennas as her chewing spot, its the softest spot on the toy.

Mary Meyer Ella Bella 10" Elephant Plush Bank

After reading reviews of the 6" pig mary meyer bank and hearing how small it was i decided to go with the cute 10" elephant one to make sure it was a good size for a toddler girl. The only thing that makes it 10" is the trunk and tail of the elephant! the actually bank size is no larger and can fit in the palm of your hand. It is much too small to fit anything in really. it probably the size of a very small coffee cup inside and i was hoping it was larger and could hold more. Also the color looks very bright but it's not. The pink is actually a very soft baby pink as well as the ear patterns. Both the blue and yellow are very dull so i was really disappointed that it was as bright and cute as the pic.

I ordered this for my 3yr old daughter, she picked it out, while it is very cute, it's just smaller than I thought it would be. But it's still perfect for a 3yr old!! !

Fisher-Price Pooh Babies: Magic Rattle Pooh

OMG. Someone bought this for my son and gave it to me at my baby shower. Of course I really did not pay much attention to the toy until my son got older. I used to shake the little rattle and let him watch winnie the pooh laugh and sing and he used to enjoy watching it. But once he was old enough to hold the rattle himself and sit in his play pen (about six months) it was nothing but fun times from there. He absolutely adored this little toy. It does exactly what it says, when you shake the rattle pooh sings and dance and when you stop it stops. I hated to part from it but my son great out of it but if I ever have any more kids I am surely going to purchase the same toy again!!!!

Fun Years Light 'n Sound Railway

I just bought this cute train today at Toys R Us and put it together this evening on our cheap contractor carpet. It assembles easily and intuitively; there are no instructions. The engine glides over the track and easily moves around curves (unless you don't set it down with all four wheels are properly aligned with the track), and the figures in the passenger car twirl as the train moves both forward and backward. It chugs as it moves, a button plays music from the Nutcracker ballet, and the smokestack lights up. It's big but not huge; you need several square feet of floor or table space and there should be no choking hazards unless pieces start shattering.

I've only had it a day so I'm not sure about durability. The plastic pieces are lightweight but don't seem particularly brittle. The engine has decent weight in the hand, which is encouraging. If the motor breaks, the wheels won't move freely so it won't work well as a hand-pushed train.

My 10 month old only wanted to chew on the figures and trees, but I think she'll appreciate it in the coming months and years, assuming it continues to work.

Earlyears Baby Farm Friends Bowling

This is a nice little set of plush animal bowling pins and a soft ball with which to knock them down. We purchased it when our youngest child was an infant (he's now 16 months) and his brother was a toddler set on throwing everything he could get his hands on. The soft aspect of the toys drew us to them, as did the different sounds, which would appeal to the baby. As it turns out, neither of them have ever really used it for the intended purpose the older child (now 2.5 years) prefers body bowling over using the ball! He sets up some of the pins and then jumps off of the couch into the middle of them. I have only two complaints about the toys. First of all, they attract animal hair and other floor muck very easily and are difficult to clean. We have two dogs, and the pins often seem to have more dog hair on them than the dogs! Secondly, they can be hard for the kids to stand up on the carpet. After a few tries on his own, the 2 year old gets frustrated and walks away or, if he's in a bad mood, starts tossing them all over the living room. Ultimately, this is probably a set better suited to a pet-free household or a no/low pile carpet floor.

I hate to be the bad apple, but these pins were more frustrating for my 20-month-old than fun. It is very difficult to get the pins to stand up...even for an adult. And, if you have a pet, pet hair really sticks to the fabric they're made of.

My 19 month-old son got this as a gift from his great-grandmother. In the three weeks since it arrived at the house, he has been walking around with one or more of the pins under his arm. He takes them to bed with him and I can hear him over the monitor making kissing noises with them. Suffice it to say, he LOVES it. My 5 month-old is starting to love it as well (especially the cow). Like one of the reviewers below, I saw the Jumbo Snuffles in a Neiman Marcus window in the Copley Place Mall in Boston in the mid 1980s.

I was walking with one of my favorite female friends in between classes at Northeastern and I actually thought about buying it for her until I saw the price. I believe it was $399.

I had purchased a number of Snuffles for my mother and when she died, I inherited them.

(I never received this wig (there was a problem with UPS -but the seller quickly returned my money. However I bought the same wig at the local costume store, so this review is about the same product.): Let's be honest, this is a cheap costume wig. That said, it worked really well for my daughter's Elvis costume. However, after wearing it to school and trick or treating it was ready for the trash. Also, I found this at the local costume store for $10.00. So look around. Anyway, it will work for a rockstar/Elvis costume just set your expectations accurately!
