In no way it is a mirror --it's only a shoddy plastic material that shows your distorted face (unfortunately I failed to realize that from the product image in Amazon). It's also difficult to return it, since it ships from UK and you are supposed to return it there.

My 6 month old twins have loved this mirror since Nana bought it for them at 3 months old. It has a small bell in it that gives it a nice jingle, crinkle paper in a flap that comes off the side that is easy to grip, and the whole mirror is light and easy for them to lift. Plus, it is a practical shape, unlike our sassy mirror that folded up and fell over on them during their younger tummy time days. This one stays put and is easy to look in to.

My 5-month daughter got this for Christmas and LOVES it! The colors are vivid, it provides different learning opportunities through the different sides, it is soft and lightweight, and it is very easy for her to hold and chew. I also love how it stands on its own and you don't have to lean it against something like so many other mirrors. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the mirror is already pretty scratched up just with normal play, but she can still see herself in it. GREAT toy!!!

This entertains my 6 month old because it plays a melody and the top half moves from side to side. Unfortunately it lasts only about 15 seconds so you have to constantly press the feet for the music to turn on again. We don't use it much now because its annoying to constantly press it for the music to turn on, but perhaps later on down the road she'll learn to press the feet herself to turn it on. Also, it only plays one melody (with giggling) and there is no adjustment in volume. I give it 3 stars for now and will update if my child plays with it more in the near future.

This little dancing ant gets my little dancing boy moving too. He really likes this toy. It is a very simple little toy, push his foot and he moves back and forth and plays music for a short period of time, but it's perfect for a short attention span. It is cute and a good size for little hands (my son is 11 months old)...he grabs Antsy by the antenna and drags him around. I definitely recommend this little guy!

My Quiet Book, Fabric Activity Book for Children

We were in the market for a way for our 4 year old to practice buttoning, tieing, snapping, etc., in the car and at church. Although several of the reviews were concerned about the myriad of small parts that could be lost, we decided to take a chance. Perhaps the manufacturer has heard their complaints, as our version has all the pieces attached with strings, so nothing has gotten lost. Though I'm sure very young children could pull them off if they wanted to, it has stood up to our 2 and 4 yr. old boys beautifully!

I have mixed feelings about this product. My 20 month old daughter plays with it alot and seems to enjoy it. My complaint is that the snaps, buttons and shapes can all be removed (and lost and amazingly return) from the book. The plastic buckle on the buckle page was removed by my daughter within weeks. I've read reviews about how this book is great for the car and other types of travel. However, the pieces often fall to the floor of the car and most times cannot be retreived. The button page does not allow for both the button and button hole to be held, which doesn't emulate actual buttoning. The ballons that snap onto their page do not have any indication of where to line up or press the snap into place. I've already ordered another set of books where the pieces remain with the book.

It's a great concept but not worth the money. Some of the tasks don't go a long way toward teaching kids the skills the task is designed to teach. It looks like it was designed in a hurry, without much thought or testing and should be marketed for considerably less money.

This is one of the few self contained toys we have. Everything is attached! It travels well. I bought it for my daughter when she was 1 and she mostly undid everything. At 2, she's just now being able to work the buttons, snaps, etc. I had a homemade version as a kid and remembered that it got a lot of use. The only problem with this one was that some of the fabric pulled away from the stitching. Amazon replaced it before I had a chance to return the original.

This toy is durable! It has survived my 10 year old son's early childhood, and now has (so far) survived my 3 year old daughter's attacks. Both children love it, but as others have mentioned, some pieces are loose and it takes perserverence to keep it together. My cure is that I hide it except for trips to the doctors and other appointments. This makes it a "special" toy, and it is easier to keep track of the parts. Many bright pages of colors keep their interest, and though they love pulling out the snap-on pieces, they are difficult for little one's to snap on. The velcro balloons that are attached are my daughter's (and mine) favorite part. The buckle is too difficult for her, but she loves putting her hand in the glove and unzipping the lady-bug to find "baby" lady bugs. I feel the positives far outweigh the negatives and highly recommend this toy--after all, if she is not losing these pieces under the couch, she would be losing her barbie car keys, lego pieces, building blocks, lincoln logs (etc) under the couch.

Yes, we've won the election, but this lefty should not have gotten the nomination for 2008. It's not up to par of the previous beannie babies.

On the rump, there is a lightning bolt 'hard sign' which cannot be removed. None of the other previous Lefty's which I have purchased had this mark. So I considered it rather unusual.

And because it is not connected to weathercasting, cannot be opened up for a 'suprise'...etc I feel it detracts from the product and product quality.

Sensory Balls (set of 4)

These are really great. They are about the same size or a tad larger then as a softball with the prickly points added on. As a previous reviewer stated I bought these for a child with a sensory issue as well. He has fun rolling them between his hands and against his face. There are hard but not hard enough to harm or cause discomfort. They are bright and colorful. These balls also seem very durable. I am not concerned about them falling apart. My younger two children (ages 2 and 4) love them as much as big brother.

The only reason I am rating them 4 starts versus 5 is I would have made them just a hair softer and they seem a tad on the pricey side. Minor quibbles and overall very good toys.

we've enjoyed these balls for a good amount of time now. they were good when our son was an infant: neat texture, easy to grab. and now that he's a toddler i dont have to worry about him breaking things with these balls as he throws them.

The activities all seemed appropriate and well sized for small fingers. This time I purchased the Giraffe because she was a bit bigger and I am happier with this item. Both are good quality, and with its bright colors and all the buttons, snaps and zipper it should do the trick. Arrived sooner than predicted shipping date too.

My 13 month old twins love this giraffe. They're very attracted to the colors and like the snuggly softness. The fasteners all work well and are a great intro into fine motor skills. My girls are very happy with this toy, and I can see them playing with it for a long time as they learn how to work the different features.

We got this as a gift at my baby shower and my daughter started using it around 6 months. She used it to help her start pulling up and feeling all the different sides. By nine months she was standing (with its help) and playing. She is almost 2 now and still loves it. It comes with a cartridge that changes the songs and makes it more interactivelike singing head, shoulders, knees and toes, as she does the dance, or doing jumping jacks. I can see that she will be using this toy for a long time to come. This is the only toy that has made that long haul from infancy well into toddlerhood. For the price, it is a great buy! She was singing along with the songs around age one and it helped her learn her shapes too!

My 9 month old plays with this product and really enjoys it! The sounds are fun (songs). It provides interesting ways for baby to explore. Among the many toys at daycare, this is my daughter's favorite (outside of the gym). She is 13 months and has been walking for 2 months; however, because it is soft, I believe it would be a good choice for a child who was still "cruising." There are lots of things to manipulate inside the top layer of each side of the cube. And with 6 sides to the cube, there are a lot of options.

If electronic songs don't make you crazy and you don't have any blanket objections to battery-operated toys, this would be a good choice for your toddler.

As another reviewer pointed out, this item is not blanket size in any way. It is truly wash cloth size, with 7.5" side to side square. The 14x11 given dimensions is from front corner to tip of the tail and side corner to corner IF stretching the material. Is it cute? Yes, it is, but more like $5-7 cute, not $15 cute. Labeling this item as a Blanket Puppet friend is a dupe, and should be classified as false advertisement, especially with the very misleading dimensions provided. Wouldn't not recommend due to the price at all.

Fisher-Price Grow with Me Sit-to-Stand Scooter - Blue

Bought this for my 18mo daughter but she really dislikes using it as a seated scooter. Even setup with the higher base for the seated scooter position, it's VERY low to the ground. She doesn't find it easy or comfortable to push with her feet. She keeps trying to stand on it, so I think eventually we'll be able to use it as the standing scooter. I may try to hack it (tape some boxes together to make a higher seat) to get it to work, or just let it sit in the garage for the next few years and buy something else for a seated scooter haven't decided yet.

I really wanted to like this. My 2 yr old son received this as a birthday present from the grandparents. It's really cute and I'm all for buying something that will grow with your child. But the sitting option just doesn't work. The "seat" is WAY too low to the ground so when he sits on it, his knees come up to his chin. It's very awkward and he gets frustrated because he can't scoot anywhere. The stand-up scooter option seems to work fairly well but considering my son is only 2, he doesn't yet have the stability (or desire) to really use it. So basically I can either return it, or let it sit in my house for a couple years until he grows into it. It's going back...we're getting a Fisher Price Lights and Sounds trike. I would only recommend this to someone who wants a scooter. And if you want that, you might as well buy a scooter that grows into a skateboard.

We originally put this together as the seated toy and our daughter didn't like it, the next day we changed it to a scooter and she & her friends ride all the time. She took a couple lessons on how to use one leg to push & hasn't looked back since. We've had it for 3 months, no problems with durability thus far. Good buy for the price, 2 wheels in the front make it easier to steer, wide foot board is great for a beginning rider. I would buy this again & recommend.

Scooter requires dis-assembly to convert. This process is not difficult nor time consuming, however it is annoying. A child may first want to sit, then quickly use it as a scooter. A quick turnaround is simply impossible, as the unit has to be taken apart from one stage and re-assembled in the other. The overall quality of construction appears to be sturdy and able to stand up to the abuse posed by children. The conversion is easy but something that requires a screwdriver and several minutes not a two minute turn, Annoying for both the parent and child.

I read the other reviews when deciding between this product and a skateboard/scooter combo for my 2 yr. old son. One of the reviews I read said that the "trike" option was pretty lame because it was awkward and too small to effectively ride around on. My son is really short so I thought that he wouldn't have a problem riding it as a trike. I was wrong. As a trike, it's to low to the ground so kids can't really scoot around on it. We changed it to the scooter within an hour. As a scooter, my son loves it! I was really wanting something that he could grow with and that was a little more versatile. SIZE: Extremely forgiving! I got this for a girl that normally can wear almost a 2T in upper body (very skinny) but the length of the arms would be too short. She's also very tall and this worked out wonderfully. She had enough length and surprisingly it didn't look too baggy either. I wouldn't be concerned about width if your child weighs more..there was plenty of extra room I was just quite surprised to find that it didn't swallow her up.

Fun Foot Froggie

We bought this toy because it had a frog on it and she is obsessed with Baby Signing Time which has a frog on it. The first time she played with this toy, she broke the white clip off, but it was ok, because it gave her a long tag to play with, which I think made her like it more. This toy has been one of our favorite 'go-to' toys to take to church or out because it doesn't make a lot of noise but still occupies her. Love this frog!

Imaginext The Legend of King Arthur Sir Gawain vs. The Green Knight Figure Set

we bought the Imaginext Castle Christmas 2006 and ever since then my sons been asking for more things to go with it. But when I got these I was so disappointed.

They don't really go with the castle because the feet are to small and can't work the platforms.

The figures are made out of a cheaper plastic and the swords are easily bend, the helmets don't fit right at all, and the detailes on the figures are a very poor paint job.

Not at all like the figures that came with the castle or the other additional packages we bought.

Of cause my boys still play with them, but I can tell they sure prefer the original figures. The difference sure surprised me since all of them are imaginext and fisher price, but I didn't get a chance to call about it yet. Maybe there are two different production lines out and the difference can be told by the UPC or somehow else.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed and wouldn't buy them again if I had the choice

I bought these for my two sons. Like the other reviewer, we have the Imaginext castle. These figures actually go with a previous "King Arthur" castle made by Fisher-Price. That's why they aren't a perfect match for the updated Imaginext castle. That doesn't get in the way of my boys' imaginations. They love the King Arthur tales, and they are familiar with Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. The figures are plus to their already active imaginations, and they love staging battles. I wish Fisher-Price hadn't officially discontinued them. I love the fact that the kids can play with "literary" figures.

Got this for my DD 8 months ago. She was frustrated that her big brother was walking (he's 4) and she just couldn't get it. So, I bought this toy. She LOVED it. She squealed and was walking with it in no time. It took her a small while to figure out how to turn once she hit a barrier. It was lightweight enough that if she got stuck in a corner she could pick it up and turn around. My best friend has a LO that is 3 months younger than my DD. He visited and loved the walker so much that I bought the blue version for him for his birthday. He has been walking a lot more and better than before. He also squealed with delight when using this toy. My DD is almost 17 months old and still uses this.

I would and have recommended this product.

I am very happy with this toy. My son is 10 months old (about 27" tall) and is able to walk a few steps on his own, but prefers to walk with support. This push toy allows me to get some housework done or sit down for a couple of minutes. He can push it around easily, in part because the wheels don't turn, it slides nicely on our wood floor. He pushes it in the upright and the down position, it is a bit more sturdy in the down position. It is perfect for his size and stage of mobility, but I would not recommend this for an older child because of its size.

My son was starting to cruise around and I wanted something that he could push. I loved that this toy was a push toy that converted to something that he could ride once he got older. This toy is very poorly manufactured. It isn't sturdy at all! My son has already pulled all of the parts off. It looks and feels very cheap. Spend a few dollars more and get another brand that is actually sturdy and doesn't fall apart. We had it two days before my son was able to pull the attachments off. He can't even walk with it very well, because the wheels dont roll smoothly and it's not sturdy and flips over. Total waste of money!!!!

I purchased this a few months ago for my son, and while initially he wasn't sure what to do with it, it has become a favorite toy, providing him with reliable entertainment. It's small enough to stow in a large diaper bag or to keep him occupied while in his car seat. It really was a great purchase and he continues to discover each new aspect of the cube over time.

This is a pretty cute toy; but I felt one of the features is completely unnecessary in a toy targeted at very young children. Namely, the magnets that are in one of the sides are pretty strong and emit EMF at fairly high levels (> 5mG). I bought this thinking it was a nice toy for my 10 month old to use to build her confidence while learning to walk. However, the handle doesn't snap or lock into place. I can see where she could lose control of it and fall forward on her face. I'm going to return it. It's cute, and seems otherwise sturdy, but not designed for new walkers.

I normally love FisherPrice toys, but the only "wonder" this whale offers is wondering why I ever bought it. My daughter is 1 years old and is walking great, so I was thinking this would be a great toy to push around. Instead, it is like pushing a broom; it doesn't roll, it's not sturdy, and you can't put any "weight" on it without it pushing out from under your toddler. My daughter carries it around instead. Which is cute, but not the point. Also, all four of the wheels never seem to be in contact with the floor, so the balls never "pop" around inside the whale. It only works if it is in the correct position, with the handle at the right angle, and with a feather-like grip. NOT WORTH IT.

Try the "bark-bark vacuum" or the "stroller" by fisher price instead.

I bought this for my 10 month old son who was walking pretty well already. I thought it would be a good toy for him to push around. However, the handle does not lock into place and the it would fold down while he was walking. My son would get extremely frustrated, cry, and throw the toy down. He really wanted to play with it but it just didn't work well. Luckily, my husband is handy and put a screw through the handle so that it would no longer fold. The problem was solved and my poor baby was happy again but not everyone has that option. I'd go for the basic corn popper if I could do it over again.
