The Russ Berrie Yomiko Cairn is just adorable. I only wished it was a little bit bigger to make it more life like.

I bought this for a little boy who wants a dog, but his parents don't. We have a real dog that he fell in love with that kinda looks like him and so I thought he will love this. I can't wait to give it to him for his birthday. It is very real looking, cute as can be and smaller sized, but bigger than a beanie baby. It lays flat like the picture and it's face is priceless. Very good quality, I may add!

I bought this for my three year old cousin for x-mas. she loves thw wizard of oz and will put a random dog in her halloween basket and call it toto. So i wanted to get her a stuffed dog that what simlar to toto. This is the only dog i found that looks vaguely like toto and also doesnt look like a big rat. My cousin loves her new toto and carries it around the house in the basket a bought her for him. The dog itself is life like and very well made (it stands up well to a three year old). It aslo came very well packaged and in a timely manner.

I bought this toy for my 4 month old daughter. I loved the fact that it grows with the baby. So far my daughter and my 2 year old son LOVE this toy. It is not hard to change the levels for each of them or they can both play with it at any level. My son does try to pry the shapes out when it is set at level one and they are locked into place. So I usually change the level for him. He gets alot of enjoyment out of making the top pop up and taking the shapes out. My infant loves to roll around on the floor and bat around at this toy and see the lights and music. This toy is unlike anything I have ever seen. It is a very nice toy! The music is nice and volume adjustable. The volume control is very nice because my son or daughter cant adjust it themselves so it stays at a desirable level. The lights are pleasing to look at and the music and sounds are very cool. I highly recommend this toy!

We got this gift as a Christmas present for our 16-month-old. It's a little bit too much blink and noise, I think, for what it actually is. The separate stages are nice, but he's not interested in the one for his age. You hear instructions for what color to press; when you press all the items of the right color the head pops up. He likes to push the head down again but it gets old just choosing red, blue, green, or yellow. It also seems to suck battery power like you wouldn't believe. What my 16-month-old, "stage 3" baby likes best, though, is the stage 1 setting for teeny babies (and not because he doesn't get it--he's a boy genius, of course). When you press or manipulate the gadgets, they light up but they also trigger tunes. He likes to set off the songs and then dance to them. That seems to be way more exciting than the "games" deemed age-appropriate. I am perfectly happy having him play with it just for the music and it does take up less space in a room than other musical toys he has

We are expecting a new baby in a few months, so it is a good toy to have on hand for two children. It powers itself off, it's pretty, and the knobs and manipulative parts are very colorful and fun to manipulate. I think it's better for younger kids. I don't see the purpose of the older stages beyond teaching colors, and the flashing lights, sounds, and computerized voice aren't the best teachers for that. Your child probably already learned how to pull, push, turn, flip, and practice other motor skills on household items anyway.

Our 5 month old loves this toy now, but at 4 months he only played with one "pod" the spin and turn one to be exact. The others were a little to difficult for his tiny, shaky, uncoordinated hands. He also would lose interest because he was unable to sit up and play on his own. He'd lay next to it and bat at things but sometimes this wasn't enough to get the toy started. If we assisted in the sitting up and playing he would kick, Kick, KICK the toy. Also the wobble doesn't work well on soft surfaces like carpet. But he's learning right before our eyes. AMAZING to see every week he learns to use something else. He started to play with the flip and switch "pod" this weekend and finally learned to push things on the push and pull "pod". My husband and I are excited to watch what comes next...A little pricey (purchased with a gift card) but so far worth it.

My son received this as a gift when he was 4 months old. At 2 1/2, he still loves playing it. The stages allow for develpment as the baby gets older. My son has some developmental delays so we loved the option to change the settings as needed. We just bought this as a gift for our friend's baby. The only problem we had was with the 4 blocks on top. In the later stages they come out and my son lost them, probably in the trash! Other than that, its a great toy.

(March '10)I am updating this review two months later and meanwhile the bottom bead, the one with the heart, has split causing a choking risk. We removed the bead and the rest of the chain is still usable. We are having the same problem with the bear chain, the bottom bead is also about to split. We do use this all the time and it's my son's favorite thing to put into his mouth, so maybe all the drool is causing this. Not sure, but just a warning.

Good product. Wish the string part was longer for easier removal.

I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas to replace the plastic chain I had purchased out of necessity in order to keep track of her pacifier. This pacifier chain is cute and doubles as a fun toy for infants to shake and chew on when attached to clothing. It seems well made and isn't as large as some of the others out there so it doesn't get in the way.

We love this pacifier chain! The clip is functional (unlike cheaper plastic models) and I don't know what we'd do without this on hikes and shopping trips, etc. My daughter also seems to think that the wooden beads are toys and/or teething rings. It is also easier for her the grab the chain and maneuver the pacifier into her mouth than manipulating the pacifier directly. And, it's really cute!

I was so excited to buy this for my baby, who was just starting to pull up on things. What a disappointment! It was easy enough to assemble, and he LOVED walking with it--when it was working. The screws do not stay in. They work their way out with gentle use and eventually the whole thing falls apart. Now we've lost a screw so it can't be used at all until we find a replacement. Totally unsafe and I can't believe how poorly it holds up, as expensive as it was! I'll not be buying large/assembled items from Plan Toys again, that's for sure--no matter how cute. :/

We had been searching for a good quality, safe and non-toxic walker toy for our little boy and settled on this one. We love all things by Plan Toys and we definitely recommend this one! Wasn't too difficult to put together, the click-clack sound is not bothersome like many noisy plastic toys, and the bag is roomy enough to hold quite a few things that our little guy likes to push around! He is 10 months old and the height is perfect for his tall build. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wood that the back wheels are attached to actually drags the ground... not the wheel itself. Either way it was easily fixed as husband shaved the legs under the back wheels just a bit to make the wheels touch. Overall it's great and should last many years :)

I ordered the activity for my son at eleven months right after he started walking I picked it after looking at many walkers because I thought that the basket feature would give it some longevity even after he was walking well. I was excited when it came because it had lots of details that I knew he would play with.

Unfortunately the cart was defective one of the screw holes was misaligned so it was impossible to assemble. I assumed it was a fluke since Plan Toys typically makes really high quality toys so I exchanged it for another. The replacement had the exact same defect which means it is a manufacturing problem. Thankfully Amazon made returning both defective carts as easy as they could (I just hate having to bother)

We bought the Radio Flyer Walker Wagon instead. We are very happy with it now at fourteen months he is running around on his own but still loves playing with it and I think his interest will actually last far longer than it would have for the Plan Toys cart.

We got this toy for our 14-month old son. He really likes it! When you push the bird on top of the elephant, the "parade" of animals moves around the room and it plays music. Don't worry, it only goes several feet before stopping. My son really enjoys chasing it around. All of the animals come apart and make noises when their body parts are moved. Overall, another great toy from Fisher Price!

I like this toy. It is a cute train that will move even on carpet when a lot of toys won't. I also like that you can play with the animals individually as well. My only complaint is that the train doesn't stay together when you pick it up to put away. I just had to put the animals next to each other on a shelf. You can't leave it connected. It falls apart when picked up. It's a great toy in spite of that though.

The music and sounds of this toy are great, it gets baby's attention. Baby loves pulling the animals off the line and rolling them around. However, this only last a few minutes. Also, the toy will not go in a direct line. Ever. Period. It must be because the monkey on top is driving drunk. This is an OK toy. Baby plays with it a little, but it is far from his favorite. You may want to pick something else that is more useful.

Jellycat Bashful Lamb Medium

If you are looking for a special stuffed animal for your little love, look no further than the Jellycat line of stuffed animals. My daughter had NEVER attached to any toy, blanket, etc, had never shown any special interest UNTIL I bought her this beautiful lamb. I thought it would be yet another toy lost in her toy basket but I was very wrong. From day one she has loved this stuffed animal.

OVERVIEW:

This stuffed animal is VERY soft and very cute. Some complain about the size of the stuffed animals compared to cost, but they seem to be perfect size for my 16 mo old. Plus, the amazing quality, softness, design of these stuffed animals make them worth every penny to me.

CARE:

It was hard for me to find washing instructions for the Jellycat line, so I took a chance, stuck the little lamb in a washing bag, washed it on "hand wash" cycle, with woolite, and it came out fine! I have since washed it a couple times, and it is fine.

CONS:

I really wouldn't say it's a con, but after all the love my daughter gives her Jellycat stuffed animals they aren't as super silky soft as they were the day we got them, but they are still very soft.

FURTHER RECOMMENDATIONS/SUGGESTIONS: We have bought the Jellycat bashful lamb 12", Sherbet kitten 12", and woodland bunny 12". My daughter loves them all, but by far her favorite is the woodland bunny, and it's mine too. It's so beautiful, the colors are great. I can say that the following Jellycat lines are super soft: Sherbet, Woodland, and Bashful, I can't speak for the other lines. The only one we were disappointed in was the truffle line. We bought the pig, and my daughter didn't like it at all, so it was returned. Just not the super soft feel of the other lines we had purchased.

BOTTOM LINE: Amazing, you can't find a cuter, softer little lamb :)

Every baby needs a lamb...well that is my belief...and Bashful is the softest, sweetest lamb I have seen in a long time. I have purchased several over this past year and have given the lambs as baby shower gifts, baby gifts and as Christening gifts:the Christened child has become a lamb of God. Every family was pleased with this gift. I purchased two to have on reserve as this little lamb by Jellycat can be challenging to locate in stores.

We bought this over a year ago for our then one-year old's birthday. She adores her Lambie. She carries her literally everywhere. She loves feeling Lambie's "fur" with her fingers and on her face, the Lambie is her soother. I LOVE this walker! We bought a much more expensive one (more than twice the price) at the big baby superstore and he wasn't terribly interested or engaged in it. We returned it and opted for this one and he squeals with delight for an hour! We also love that it can be a stand behind walker when he transitions. Totally recommended... don't spend a ton of money on another walker. :)

I'm writing this under my husband's account. My son is 5 months old and is 18 pounds 6 ounces and he is just about 27 inches long. He is the "go-go-go" type that wants to be picked up and carried around so he can see everything. He is wlling to walk as long as he has help so I decided to buy him a walker.

I was so pleased to find that this walker was so EASY to assemble. Just unfold, attatch wheels, seat and the toys and you're ready to put your baby in it! My son took off in it the second I let him go! He can't move on carpet yet (we have very low pile carpet), but I'm thinking he just needs to be a little stronger first so he can support his weight better. It is VERY easy for him to move on hardwood and I love the rubber bumpers on the bottom because we have a single step in the house and I was worried he might fall so, as I held the walker, I let him get close to the step and sure enough he got completely STUCK! The seat also adjusts in between the leg holes on the back, which is good for me because I have a tall baby. My son loves the Cookie Monster teether because he loves to chew on things with his two little bottom teeth. I love that there is a tray in between the toys and even a handy-dandy cup holder, haha.

I chose this walker because it converts into walk-behind walker. All you do is remove the seat and flip the bar forward and wa-la, done. I would definetly recommend this to anyone.

This is a basic walker and a great deal for the price. My son loved the toys on the tray and the push behind feature. In order to raise the seat (for a long legged baby) there's just a strap that tightens similar to those on booster seats. It would be nice if it would go a bit higher, but my son has longer legs than most babies and I'm sure it would be fine for most. We didn't have any problem with toes catching under the product like other reviews mentioned. This folds up nicely for storage. The seat was a little hard to get snapped in, but I just pushed on the prongs that are on the seat with a butter knife and they snapped in fine. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's just so basic, but that's what you pay for and also because it will not accommodate a tall baby for too long.. We have thoroughly enjoyed it.

This walker is actually a GREAT thing. I've read the previous reviews; people say it doesn't fold up for storage or travel.....it does. It actually folds flat and I slide it into the trunk no problem. Then I see reviews where people say it doesn't roll on carpet well. My little man had trouble at first, but all babies have to gain the strength to make it happen and when the really want it to, it will! Now he motors like crazy no matter where he wants to go. He mastered turning it and now spins in circles in this thing. We're about ready to convert it so he can walk without being in the seat. It seems like people want to stick their kids in a walker and watch them go crazy, but the fact is...they have to learn it first. This walker is AWESOME and I'm amazed that people say otherwise!

Makes a nice jingling sound, easy to grasp and shake, when baby got older he wanted me to take the bell out for him. :\ Very sturdy and well-made, not soft wood (many Melissa and Doug toys are so soft that they get marred very easily; we have found that Selecta toys such as this one are more durable due to the harder wood).

It's such a simple rattle but I've seen toddlers break out into fights in order to play with this toy. In fact, I bought one for my 9-mth daughter after seeing her manhandling a poor little boy who brought it to the play group. She's older now but still gets a kick out of shaking it and ringing the bells when we sing songs. The wood is saliva-proof and it looks as in as good shape as when I first bought it six months ago.

ELMO THROUGH THE YEARS

I bought this item for my 10 month old great-niece. She has other TickleMe Elmo items. But these items are small enough so she can carry them with her and hold while she is sleeping. I know that this is supposed to be a special collection but I have never believed in keeping toys in their boxes and never touch them.

This is an adorable little cow, definitely made of the quality and style that we expect from Melissa and Doug toys. It was a lot more sturdy than I expected it to be.

This was small enough to fit in an Easter beach bucket with candy bars, a big Hershey's kiss, Matchbox cars, and a set of LEGO Toy Story Army Men on Patrol (7595) and a bubble sword. It was the perfect touch for a little boy who likes cars and trucks and might not want to admit to liking a stuffed animal. This one left him with his pride intact.

It's a medium sized cute animal. It has a friendly smiley face and is pleasant to touch. I intentionally have been buying non-usual animals (i.e. cats, dogs) so my kid could learn more. I like the cow very much and highly recommend it.

This is the best infant hanging toy I've seen, and my children seem to agree.

First, this is a good "toy" even for infants who aren't really reaching and grabbing yet, but just looking. Each of the octopus's eight legs has a different color and texture. Viewed from below, there's still a lot of interest going on. Also, once your child is coordinated enough to flail her arms, she'll come into contact with all of the different textures. Then you can talk about how she's holding the "pink fleece" leg and "isn't it soft" etc. This toy presents you and your baby with a lot of teachable moments.

The red neck ruffle is satiny and crinkly. The big head has a rattle inside. These features are good for an older baby (if you have it over a play yard, it can be difficult to put a sleeping baby in without it making noise--and on older infant might rattle it by accident and startle herself), since she'll be able to practice cause and effect and learn how to influence her world.

We got the best smiles from my older child as he learned that he could grab the red ruffle and make his favorite crinkling sound. He also seemed to like the yellow head an smiley face. My second child seemed to prefer grabbing the legs, especially the slippery ones.

I figured they'd both be done with the toy after it hung above their play yards when they were very young, then hooked onto the handle of their car seat when they were older infants, but that wasn't the case. Once they were mobile, they each crawled to it on the floor, to remember old times, I guess. My older child was pretty much done with it by the time he was a year old, but when his younger brother was born, it was one of the first toys he brought to him.

This toy will look gigantic next to your newborn. Just remember that they grow fast (babies, not toys) and that it'll soon seem more like the right size. By the time your baby is grabbing, it won't be too big at all.

We used Boomerings to attach the octopus to things--and the rings are good toys in themselves. If your sitting baby has grown out of the octopus, but really liked it, you might want to get the same company's Shaker Weights. They're also brightly-colored and open up lots of teachable moments.

Bottom line: This is the best infant mobile and tactile (young) baby toy we've found.

This toy for the 0-1 year old crowd has it all. It has a simple face, sound, textures, colors, and is easy to grasp for little hands.

This is a great toy for a child around 18 months old. It is very hard to find and the stores no longer carry it around where I live. My grandson is into dinosaurs so this is going to be a great Christmas present for him.

Great addition to the Little People collection. My son loves dinosaurs so I bought it for him, and now that he has grown out of Little People I have put it away for my daughter when she gets older. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if there was a little more to the playset, but overall it's a good buy.

I got this for my daughter because she loves to play in the car and buckle the seat belts....This helped get her out of the car!

We gave this as a gift to my daughter on her first birthday. Right now she just loves to hug and carry around her buckleyboo. She likes when we show her how to use the buckles but it will be awhile until she can do them on her own. From what I've notice the ~2 year old crowd looooves buckles!

Manhattan Toy Dr. Seuss Horton - Small

Purchased for my grandson who is in love with Horton. This Horton is his pal and he takes him everywhere. The size is just right for a toddler to hold and carry.

I love the book "Horton Hears a How" and I wanted to be able to share this love with my grandson. Now I can read to him with a little Horton of his own. Perfect size for a little one. Highly Rcommend!

Carter's Plush Security Blanket

I love this little monkey, hopefully baby does too once he is old enough to play with it. One thing to note is that the head does rattle, so if you want something that is just a plush and doesn't make noise this is not the item for you. It isn't super loud though, so I don't think it will cause an issue when baby is old enough to sleep with it.

My son has three of these. One for daycare, one for home and one which is always clean in case one goes dirty! We have different motifs, as I do not want him to get used to the monkey only, or the elephant. He loves them, he slips with them, and they are light, so he can put them over his face. a Highly recommended item. machine washable. I hang to dry.

Love it! We have three! The silky lining sometimes gets snagged and that's my only complaint. Seems to hold up well in the wash so far.

She loves this blanket so much she snatches it from me when I go to give it to her. She is now 3 months old. She loves it and she loves playing with the elephant on it. Its soft and she wraps her arms around it and cuddles it to sleep. She loves having it in her car seat for rides she grips it. I should of gotten 2 so when I am washing it she isn't looking for it. I have washed a few times and still looks new.

Lamaze Baby Bling Take Along Toy

After much research of clip on baby toys, I bought this one for my grandbaby. Baby really loved the large shiny mirror as an infant! It was the only clip on toy that had a mirror this large and that baby could actually enjoy as such. Baby also loved the ribbon tags on toy for twiddling with. It made for a great clip on toy and for tummy time. While it was a great infant toy, baby out grew it after about six or seven months. It is a very visual toy for young babies. I am glad I bought the toy and highly recommend it.

This adorable little ring has lots of colors and textures. Just big enough for her little 4 month old hands. Good buy
