Alex Jr. I Can Cook Toy

Great toy! The Alex Jr. "I Can Cook Toy" is really a "fill and dump" toy and a great one at that. Its creative design gives babies 6 months or older different colorful fabric textures to feel (and sometimes taste) including the really cool shiney fabric used for the cooking pot w/ lid that crinkles to baby's touch. Additionally the toy has sewn in fabric noodles and pasta bow ties that are really fabric "tabs" that babies like to play with and shake. Inside the fabric pot are three soft toy rattles and squeeker toys that look like a carrot, a turnip, and a tomato which my baby loves to teeth on, toss and shake for long periods of time.

I bought this for my 10 month old daughter. She likes it when we sing the "On Top of Spaghetti" song and I thought she'd enjoy having a spaghetti pot, too. She loves the sound the radish makes and likes to toss the pot around (it crinkles). She tries to shake the carrot like she does the radish (holding it by the leaf) and doesn't seem to understand why the carrot won't rattle (it squeaks but she's not strong enough to squeeze it yet). She loves the spaghetti and bow ties she enjoys chewing on the knots (they don't crinkle or make any sounds, though). When looking at this online I was afraid the spaghetti was removable and thought she may put it in her mouth and possibly choke on it. However, the spaghetti is sewn in and does not come apart from the pot, so it's safe for her to play with. This is a very cute toy, lots of sounds & textures, baby plays with it daily and I'd definitely recommend it!

My seven-month old LOVES this toy. She likes to pull the vegetables out of the pot, shake them, thrown them and try to eat them. She also tries to eat the pot and the spaghetti bows. We're just starting to work on teaching her how to put things "in" the pot and shut the lid.

We have a number of toddler friends who also gravitate to this toy when they're at our house. I can see how this will be a toy my daughter can grow with from a developmental standpoint.

Spielstabil Baby Bucket

The bucket is bright and well-made (in Germany). No flimsy, somewhat cheap plastic. I really love the spoon scoop because it is thick and fits my baby hand. I think it will provide a lot of fun for my baby this summer. However, as some reviews mentioned the bucket is pretty small, probably for me...hope my baby will like it. I bought this toy for our infant son. When we received it, I was surprised by the size. It is a bit small. My son loves it. He likes to scoop with the little shovel and actually pretends it is a bowl and stirs. It is probably the perfect size for his little hands now ,at 9 months, but I don't think he will be using it next summer. There are no sharp edges and the plastic is high quality and durable! All in all I am pleased with the purchase and my son is very happy with the toy.

This is simply the perfect bucket/shovel option for little ones. My boy is seventeen months and has loved this from around 12 months. The little spoon is still his favorite digging implement. With many choices, he will always reach for this pair the size and feel seem to be perfect for the under-two set. As with all Spielstabil toys, very well made and durable in bright, smooth plastics.

Giggles Computer Funtime for Baby

My daughter is little over three years old and I had bought this software about a year ago directly from the founder of Giggles, since he lives in the Rochester, NY area. At first I was worried that the software is for babies and my toddler may not be interested. Not so! She loves the program even more now. Her knowledge of shapes and use of computers impresses even her teachers at the day-care.

I know for a fact that much research and hard-work had gone into the development of this software and it shows mightily; especially when compared to other products of similar genre.

I can't wait for the new products Giggles Software is developing.

I purchased both Giggles Shapes and Giggles Animals for my 5 month old boy after I noticed I could not get on my home computer or my laptop with him wanting to hit the keys.

This program is very entertaining and teaches babies cause and effect, and has a good music selection that my baby likes.

I would highly recommend this program to any parent that has a child from 3 months to 2yrs.

My 9 year old boy even enjoys playing with these programs!

This program is lots of fun for a baby. It runs a little slowly on our 700 MHz G4 eMac, but our baby loves it. The only critique, though, is that it won't run on a limited account in OS X. The companion game, 123 & ABCs will let me set up the baby's account to allow me to add it to her account's limits list, but the Animal Friends does not. As a result, either I cannot run it on her account, or I have to allow administrator privileges to her account. I cannot do that since her sister also uses the computer.

I bought this for my nephew because he loves playing on the computer; however, in the process of playing on the computer, some files and programs were deleted or damaged. This computer program/game has been wonderful for him. It locks out the computer so he can have fun and his parents don't worry about the computer system messing up. :-)

Mary Meyer Flip Flop Plush Jasmine Unicorn 14"

We have three other "Flip Flop" animals from Mary Meyer in previous years. They're wonderful, even more durable than we'd expect. This unicorn arrived with the bean bag stuffing placed to the side of where it should be, a loose stitch on the horn, and visible threads between the sections of the face's embroidery. It's obviously machine made with no human inspection. It's also a coarser, thinner fabric than the previous toys. I don't expect it to last long, and that's just...sad. My daughter loves the unicorn, and it will be such a shame when those stitches come out.

Bought this for my daughter for Easter. It is soft and she LOVES it. The quality is good for a stuffed animal. It isn't like a Gund, but it isn't dollar store cheap either. Only complaint is that the stitching started to pop open all along the seems of the legs. She's had for less than 4 weeks and the toy has already undergone 3 "surgeries" to repair open stitching... and all she does is sleep with it. (Can't imagine what it would be like if she dragged the thing everywhere!) All in all, not a bad purchase.

This toy looked like so much fun and perfect for the busy toddler. When I received this toy, it arrived broken. One of the springs is stuck in the down position and won't pop up. Very unfortunate as this was intended to be a Santa gift. Great idea behind the toy and if it were made with better springs it would be a very successful product. I will be returning the one I purchased. I am not reordering based on several other reviews stating that theirs too arrived broken or broke within the first few weeks of play.

This toy is great for toddlers to encourage eye-hand coordination, fine motor dexterity and cause and effect. Kids of all ages and adults like to play with it too.

This table is beautiful. We bought it for my daughters 4th birthday present. It is very well made with solid construction and the paint is flawless. We also bought the matching chairs and they are also very good quality. It was very easy to assemble. Well worth the money. The little jewelry box is my daughters absolute favorite. We put this in her room after she fell asleep so she would wake up on her birthday morning and see it but instead we woke up at 3 am and found her having a full fledge tea party with stuffed animals and all.

Natural Wood Hedgehog Baby Rattle - Non-toxic and Safe for Baby

I purchased this because it was on a list of top or best toys for baby and I liked the idea of it being natural wood. I was disappointed. As another reviewer mentioned this rattle is too big for baby to get in her mouth. I understand that it's not a teether but a rattle yet we all know that babies put everything in their mouth. It frustrated my daughter that she couldn't get it in her mouth, so eventually she just ended up ignoring it. She never showed any interest in it as a rattle and the sound it makes isn't anything unusual or exciting. Nor is it colorful or eye-catching. It remains one of those toys at the bottom of the pile that are untouched. Maybe if it was designed a little thinner to fit the mouth it would be better. Despite the natural wood, I have to give this a thumbs down.

Fast forward 2 months, after my original review of this rattle. I pick up the rattle and discover with horror that my daughter has chewed on it and there are big splinters sticking out all over it. I do not exaggerate. I took pictures of it right then and there to send to the company and complain but like so many other tasks on a new mother's to-do list it never rose to that priority section of the list where things actually get completed. So I return to my original review to warn people. Please do not buy this rattle. It is dangerous and it is scary to think what would have happened the next time she chewed on this rattle and got a sharp splinter stuck in her mouth.

Note that in my new-edited review I was unable to change the original stars assigned to it. That is why durability has 5 stars. If I could change it-all categories would have 1 star.

This is a RATTLE not a Teether..so with regards to the other reviewer who had a problem with it not fitting into the babies mouth; it's not supposed to fit in the babies mouth. It's a wonderful rattle that my baby loves to play with and shake to hear the noise. It's natural wood and non-toxic, which is fabulous, as so many toys theses days are toxic and harmful!! I highly recommend this rattle!!

This thing doesn't even rattle. The disks stick together and to the dowel in the middle, so they barely move when the toy is shaken. It also arrived with a weird smell (smelled like varnish although I assume that's not what it was since it's supposed to be all natural). It's not very smooth wood (there are little splinters sticking out). I also agree that the thickness is a problem since it makes it hard to grasp in a small hand.

Too thick to be comfortable for baby's hold, too rough to be pleasant for mouthing. Besides, the finish (or whatever it is) seems to either be applied in a very sloppy way or peeling off. Overall, not a good toy at all.

This toy stimulated my 3 yr old b/c of the puzzle factor and my 11 mth old enjoyed taking the rings off and trying to put them back on.

I purchased this toy for my one year old grandson. The quality is wonderful it's so difficult today to find toys as well made as the ones I bought for my own children years ago. The colors were just about as vivid as in the picture and the wood finish was very smooth. I especially like the fact that the rings can be stacked in any order. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the puzzle stacker we received does have numerous rough edges, unlike the Haba and Melissa and Doug etc toys we own. I haven't filed the edges down, and they don't bother my 2.5yrold at all (ours is not jagged enough to cause splinters or scrape her skin, more-so just rough). Our version's colours are vibrant as pictured though.

My 2.5yr old daughter enjoys manipulating this puzzle stacker at this point she is able to pair the correct sized colored/natural pieces together, but is not really interested in then stacking the pairs in correct size order. She also enjoys rolling the pairs across the floor and watching them wobble apart.

Because of how much she enjoys playing with it, I would buy it again. For the price it should be finished better though.

Western Diva Toddler / Child Costume

I ordered a costume on 9-26-09. I was charged for the product immediately. 2 weeks went by, and I hadn't recieved the product. I called Zoogster co. assured me it was on its way. Well a month went by, it still hadn't come. I try to call and the line is busy for hours. I finally talk to someone and they tell me they no longer have the product and he assures me he will refund the money. He did not have the athority to refund but he personally would take care of it. Well, I still haven't recieved my refund. I had to order the same product by another company and I already have it. It was a couple dollars cheaper too.

First off, I have to say I researched cowgirl costumes and this was the cutest I could find for my four year old girl.

When it came, she was thrilled with it. I, however was disappointed as it looked somewhat different than the picture and the quality of the fabric and stitching was lower than I'd hoped. The skirt in the picture shows light pink cow spots that match the top. On my daughter's version, the cow spots are a brighter fuschia pink, about 10 or more shades different than the top and the spots are bigger, which makes it look cheaper.

Oh well, I thought, my daughter loves it and didn't want me to send it back. It did fit her perfectly, which pleased me. She wore it twice and already the stitching is unraveling in places. I am disappointed because for the same price I have bought costumes at Costco and Old Navy that I know will hold up for years to come. This one looks like my daughter wore it every day for months. The fake "Leather" strings that hang down are unraveled and the satin top has water stains. I am afraid to wash it since I think it might just fall apart completely in the washer.

I think it's cute, but I wish it were much better quality.

My daughter loves this costume and has it as one of her favorite of all her play outfits. My main beef with it is that it does NOT last. After about a week of wear, it started coming apart at the seams especially around the skirt. Now my daughter has a costume full of holes. If it is going to be for one night, then that is fine, but will not work for a play costume.

This teether is very functional. Just the right size for 6mo to hold and shake, and place in her mouth. The little indentations work great to fit around her mouth just where her teeth will be. I put mine in the freezer before handing to her and it seems to work fine so far. The silicone is getting a little stinky like the freezer but not too bad.

This teether is baby girl's favorite. She also likes that it is also a rattle. I would prefer if I knew if I could put it into the microwave sanitizer. Right now I just wash with hot, soapy water.

I may get a backup one.

This has been our six-month-old daughter's favorite chew toy for the last two months. She is almost instantly absorbed in chewing on it, turning it in her hands and then chewing on a different part of it. We have two in case we lose one. I like that it isn't plastic, not that she doesn't have twenty other things that are plastic. But, hey, one less plastic toy.

My aggressive one year old teether enjoys this teether. It's easy to put on a strap for him to grab and he gnaws on it happily, however, I just like being able to put items in a dishwasher and I can't with this one. It's understandable but inconvenient.

Other than that, 4 stars :).

everything loses shape after washing. the triangles look like the ovals, so it is confusing for baby! i wanted to like this, but it just didn't work out for us!

We bought this as a Christmas present for our one-year old. She loves the handle and the little toys. We love that the packaging is all recyclable. It is definitely a hit all around!

Kushies Zolo Cha Cha Buggy

Ok, this rattle is insanely expensive... and in the first few months it's too big/heavy/awkward for a baby to hold themselves... but I swear every time I would use this rattle my baby would instantly stop crying (until I stopped rattling...). Now that she is 6 months old she has no problem playing with it herself, and she loves to chew on the yellow part. I think the unique part about this rattle is that it has so many different attributes: a funny face to look at, the rattle (both visual and sound), and the squishy yellow top to chew on. A great toy that she'll play with for a long time!

Purchased this item as a Xmas gift in November. The first time the baby used it after xmas and it dropped the eye came off. Felt it was a danger of coming off again a safety hazard.. I wanted to return it but my return date was early December.

Very disappointed with this company because I also purchased another item and that item was defective also. It was the ring stacker and one of the sounds in a ring does not work.

Rubie's Costume EZ-On Romper Costume

This costume is junk! The one I received looks used. It is extremly dirty and dusty. It is a very cheap fabric also. No baby would be comfortable in it! And the customer service is terrible. They won't give me a refund.

The costume arrived with the velcro (on the back) fell off. Even with the velcro on, there is a big opening. Shouldn't they make a zipper to seal the opening? The whole costume is made of cheap materials. We handwashed the product with cold water as instructed and noticed the black color turns to grey. Well, not all the black patches turned to grey. The hat piece was ok. Stay away from them if you can.

I buy this costume for my nephew, first I look the pictures and read previews from another buyers, I receive the costume at time great seller first I say, when I look the costume I think I't doesn't look like in the pictures I think the white doesn't white really, it looks like some grey well.. like some dirty...but i think it's not a really problem or a great problem is not notorius, only at detail look, I think the costume would be more thick really is more thin then I think by the pictures, I send this costume to my sister and she loved and I think well she's a woman and she know more about that things.

I bought this costume for my baby's first Halloween, and he was adorable! The costume looks as expected. The only complaint I have is that the velcro that holds it together (between the legs) comes apart easily. Snaps would have been better. I also wish it was made with a little bit more durable fabric. But it was super cute. This has endured a couple times through the washing machine and is still doing well.
