Whoozit Atachable Musical Pull Toy

Whoozit Atachable Musical Pull ToyThis has become a favorite for my 3 month old! I have attached it to her car seat and her play mat on the floor. She loves the lights that flash on the star part and the rope knots on the bottom round face-looking thing. On the back of the face-looking thing is a bold black & white bulls eye. There is a clear plastic window in the center so she can watch the toy retract inside. The tune is rock-a-bye-baby, and it plays for about a minute and a half (a friend pointed out that it seems like a long time!) All in all, a great toy for teething/chewing on, playing with, looking at and listening to!

I bought this for my son's exercise mat. He likes it, but I wish it weren't so long. It's close to touching the floor. Not really sure what you could hang this from that it wouldn't be too long for. But my son likes it, and the music is good.

Buy Whoozit Atachable Musical Pull Toy Now

I got this to hang on my infant car seat. Little one LOVED the twinkling lights and it would distract him when he was cranky in the car. He then grew out of the infant seat and I was ready to donate it. Then I decided to tie it to the crib. He is 11 months and every morning he is pulling it down to listen to the music and watch the light twinkle. He gets so excited and it keeps him entertained for a bit so mommy and daddy can catch an extra 15 mins before getting up for the day.

This toy is way too hard for even the strongest and most curious infant to pull. It also did not retract properly, making it less exciting for baby to watch. I would not recommend this toy for any age baby.

Lil' Sportster Buggy with Canopy and Push Handle

Lil' Sportster Buggy with Canopy and Push HandleIt's a quality item my grandson absolutely loves it. Although it states the usage age is 12 18 months, he is only 8 months old and almost too big for it already. The shipping was extremely fast the item couldn't be found anywhere for less including the free shipping. Was extremely pleased with this purchase and with Amazon.

Infantino Multi-Sensory Shape Set

Infantino Multi-Sensory Shape SetI bought these toys as a "backup plan" on our first plane trip with our 8 month old. The little square toy with the ball inside alone is more than enough to entertain him. When you move it quickly or bang it against something, it squeaks and it's great for teething babies. Shopping for toys for babies who are teething and shove absolutely EVERYTHING in their mouths is not always easy, but these were just right.

Fisher-Price Little People Zoo Talkers Chimpanzee Family Pack

Fisher-Price Little People Zoo Talkers Chimpanzee Family PackSuperb toy. Good idea to use families instead of the single animals. Good detail, the only thing I would say is they seem to be made of a softer plastic. They seem a bit squishy not as tough as say the gorilla. All in all though top draw, defo recommend.

I agree with others! We just got the chimp family for Christmas... what a waste. They ALL say the same thing. BUT, one of them doesn't work at all. Upon further inspection, the mom and baby one has the bottom deformed and it will not fit. All the new talkers are cheaper thinner plastic than those made last year or early in 2012. Too bad... was going to get more families, new animals, etc. but thinking again about this. Back on the deformed bottom... we also got the ostrich and it has the SAME problem. Turned it over and sure enough it's deformed on the bottom like the chimp. I looked again and both have dates of 08/12MTN on them. All the others before these are earlier dates... so, guessing cheaper plastic, not as good manufacturing quality as when these were first released, and having subpar product. Fisher Price... bummer on you! I've already contacted you about the animals not talking well before and you blamed it on the base and the batteries... well, I say bull now because these are deformed and cannot work! Go back to your original product quality or we will stop buying these!!!

Neurosmith Dot the Musical Dragon

Neurosmith Dot the Musical Dragonwe purchased this for our grandson for Valentines' day. He has not received it yet and is only 2 months old but I truly believe he will love the colors, music, flashing lights and other sounds it makes. I wish it had more interactive noises/sounds/ visual affects. IE push he bottom of his feet or his ears and a sound would happen-like a squeak. Our 2 year old granddaughter loved it at Christmas!! Had a hard time getting it away ftom her.

After about two months of occasional play in 'demo' mode (we left it in 'demo' because the full songs in 'musical' were annoying and 'interactive' was too sensitive to any sort of bump or movement) it one day just froze up. The lights came on when activated but never blinked (as is normal) for several mins with no music. Then suddenly it would start playing like a brocken record spasticly. Complete junk! My son didn't even like it when it did work right.

Haba Fiorella Dangling figure

Haba Fiorella Dangling figureLove all wooden toys from this maker. Durable and well-constructed. Paint is always well-done. Straps are secure. I recommend this toy and many others.

I have mixed feelings about this toy. It is cute and my daughter loves to play with it but I could never give it to her as an infant when she played laying down because she would swing it around and whack herself in the face! It's really heavy, solid wood, so it really hurts when babies swing it around, she's even gotten me a few times! My other complaint is that it falls apart. The yellow "bell" shape has come out of it's slot making it separate. It is big enough that it never really bothered me, I would just push it back in after she was done playing with it. But today the red ball on the bottom of the yellow "bell" came off and it is definitely small enough to be swallowed. I am so glad I saw it before she did! So, all of these things together, I would say... not worth it! There are too many other great baby toys out there to waste your money on this!

Buy Haba Fiorella Dangling figure Now

I don't understand what is so great about this toy, but my daughter LOVES it. She's 7 months old, and this is one of her favorite things to chew on. The green disk isn't a donut, by the way -it's got a circle of mirror-like foil on it. The bell is solid; it doesn't ring...and yet she loves it. Plus because it's Haba, I'm not as worried about her chewing on it.

Baby's First Blocks

Baby's First BlocksBaby loves playing with these these (and sucking on them too--he's teething), dad loves playing with these, mom loves the extremely high quality of these blocks, which will obviously last for years, just because they are so well made but because they will be a building block (pun intended) of our toy collection for years to come. The paint is bright and strong, the wood grain and cut edges of the underlying wood is beautiful, and they are clearly excellent blocks.

I'm thinking of buying two more sets, just so we can build bigger towers for the kiddo to knock over.

The picture for this item isn't very good, so FYI, this set has two blocks each of six colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. We expanded the set with the Haba Discovery Blocks--the blocks from both sets are the same size, so it works perfectly.

These blocks are cubes, 4cm on each side. There are twelve in a package: 2 red, 2 orange, 2 yellow, 2 green, 2 blue, and 2 purple. This size block will coordinate with Haba First Blocks, Haba Fantasy Blocks, Building Blocks Sevilla, Haba Building Blocks Cordoba, and the Haba ball track set. They are the good quality you would expect from Haba blocks, though the packaging is not as nice as the packaging for the other block sets I mention above, so they would not be as attractive to give as gifts. I bought these blocks to expand on our other Haba block sets, and that's exactly what they did.

Buy Baby's First Blocks Now

Our daughter loves these blocks! We started her off using them during dinner time when she was 5 months old. We have her sitting with us at the table. In lieu of food, she has these blocks to play with. (Hopefully working on her grasping skills while she's with the family.) They've held up quite well to all the grabbing, chewing, and throwing off of the table that they've had to go through. We've just started her on solids, so they are now getting washed with every meal and are holding up very well. Like all of the Haba toys we've purchased, these are quality products and I can see they will last for years to come.

Another nice side perk to these blocks is that they match other lines of Haba blocks, so they blend right in with the other sets.

Read Best Reviews of Baby's First Blocks Here

We purchased these based on the great reviews, and when they arrived they seemed to be everything people said they were. Loved the colors and the quality looked great. Our daughter also seemed to like them. However, two days after receiving them I went to clean our toys, and noticed that one of the blocks had developed a surface splinter! I'll try and attach a picture as it's hard to describe otherwise.

She only played with them a couple of times, and both times were under supervision, so it's not like she was throwing them around or chewing on them that caused the piece to do this. We have since returned the blocks, and are debating whether or not to get another set. Probably not as there are so many other toys out there, but it's unfortunate.

Anyways -parents please be careful and check all of the pieces periodically! I shudder to think what would have happened had we not noticed this. (Our daughter is still at that age when she will put things in her mouth)

These blocks fit their title and are appropriate for first blocks. They are small enough for my 9 month old to grip easily, and he is attracted to the colors. The colors also seem pretty chip resistant. These blocks get thrown around quite a bit and none of the color has come off.

Gund Baby 12" Sweet Dreams Dolly - Pink

Gund Baby 12' Sweet Dreams Dolly - PinkI purchased this doll for my 19 month old granddaughter. She had already received one as a gift and instantly became attached to it. As a precaution, I ordered an "emergency Baby", in case Baby #1 got lost or needed a wash. This little doll is so soft and cuddly, and she is very durable. My granddaughter loves to pretend to feed Baby, so the doll is frequently in need of a trip through the washing machine. During those times, my daughter substitutes Baby #2. I highly recommend Sweet Dreams Dolly for any child who loves to snuggle and feel secure with an adorable just-the-right-size dolly. Five stars for sure I'd give more if I could!

I purchased the Gund "Sweet Dreams" Dolly from Amazon.com for my granddaughter. I bought it last Christmas....it took until now (1 year old) for her to really "latch" onto it. She just loves it. Carries it around everywhere.

I thought it would be great for her FIRST doll because it is so soft....nothing at all on it that could hurt her. I'm glad I was able to purchase her "first" baby doll for her. Really cute!

Star Trek Romper And Headpiece Spock

Star Trek Romper, SpockThis is a decent costume. It's fuzzy and soft so it'll be great for being outside in the cold but it's not really that durable and the hat doesnt fit so well. Overall it was way better priced then most of the costumes you get in the store so I think my purchase was worth it.

My husband is a Trekkie so this was a cute outfit for our son's first Halloween (he was 7 months at the time). However, the material quality is poor and the fasteners are all made of Velcro, not buttons. Overall it looked cute and for the price was good for a one-time use costume.

I like the reflective stripes on the sleeve and the star trek symbol on the chest, this product was designed to be worn outdoors in cooler climates. We however live in Hawaii and my boy is less than 2 and will be indoors most of the night making this fleece one piece outfit a uncomfortably hot one. Overall well built but not for use above 70 degrees F.

We got this costume for our 20 month old thinking that it would be really cute and a thrill for his Trekkie grandmother. While the romper fit pretty well, the headgear was waaaay too small. It did not even reach the bottom of his ears, let alone near his chin as shown in the photo. Unless you have a backup pair of Spock ears, I would avoid this costume.

Simon Laurens Mollie the Orangutan Realistic Toddler Doll by Ashton Drake

Simon Laurens Mollie the Orangutan Realistic Toddler Doll by Ashton DrakeLet's be honest kids these days are pretty soft. You're not helping by purchasing cuddly little stuffed animals that say "I love you" when you squeeze them. If you want to prepare them for the harsh realities of toddler life, I strongly recommend the Simon Laurens Mollie the Orangutan Realistic Toddler Doll by Ashton Drake. Kids grow up real quick when they share their bedroom with a doll that is hell bent on murdering them in their sleep and transporting their blood to the depths of hell to be cast in molds to build an army of murderous monkey-child-doll brothers and sisters.

Pros:

Studies have shown that owners of the Simon Laurens Mollie the Orangutan Realistic Toddler Doll by Ashton Drake often develop advanced skills in shape recognition and spatial relationships as they barricade themselves behind complex walls of blankets, toys, and bedroom furniture in their efforts (however futile they may be) to distance themselves from this vile beast.

Cons:

Kids that do not deliver Mollie's required nightly ritual sacrifice don't usually make it. Parents need to take responsibility here and assure that plenty of kitten blood is always on hand (and puppy blood will do in a pinch, but don't push it this is your child's life we're talking about here).

Fisher-Price Precious Planet Portable High Chair Cover, Blue

Fisher-Price Precious Planet Portable High Chair Cover, BlueThis highchair cover isn't padded or thick. It's simple to put on, folds up into a package that fits into a diaper bag, and does the job of covering a high-chair at a restaurant. I like it for that. I've seen thicker ones that are more padded. That might be better for a younger child who needs extra stability. It also doesn't double as a shopping cart cover, so you'd have to get a separate one of those. There's nothing wrong with this product, but it doesn't have anything that makes me want to rate it 4 or 5 stars. It is literally "just OK." On the upside, it's inexpensive.

This thing saves time since my wife no longer sprays public high chairs with anti-bactrial sprays and rub the chair to find out a layer of back stuff come out. Disgusting :s

The cover is not padded. Because of that, it is light, washible and foldable.

It comes with an integrated pocket so you can fold the whole thing into that pocket and you're ready to go!

The straps are short, I wish they were longer, but not really a big deal.

Buy Fisher-Price Precious Planet Portable High Chair Cover, Blue Now

This is the third high chair cover I have owned, and it is the best one yet. I love that the material allows you to wipe it clean, unlike the Babe Ease cover. I also love that it folds up into itself. The two tether straps are great for younger babies, as you can attach a couple of toys to keep them busy. My only complaint is that the seat belt holes are too small for the clasps of any high chair I've tried, and they are on the back of the cover, rather than on the seam between the sides and the seat (where the straps come on the chairs).

Read Best Reviews of Fisher-Price Precious Planet Portable High Chair Cover, Blue Here

I don't understand people who use those plushy cart covers as a double for high chairs. Personally, my child gets food EVERY where. This high chair cover is super light, easy to throw into a diaper bag, unfold onto a chair, throw into the wash and fold back into a little pouch. Plus, it's really affordable. I'm thinking about getting another one just incase I haven't done laundry, or just to place in our other vehicle!

What an excellent high chair cover and for such a great price! I love that this is versatile and fits many chairs easily and that it's easy to wipe clean. I also love the loops in the front that you can clip toys and rings to for the child to play with. Great high chair cover!

4 in 1 Walker

4 in 1 WalkerI bought this for my 9 month old Grandson and he loves it. We lock the wheels and it stays secure while he pulls himself up. Soon he will be pushing it and walking behind it. He also loves to sit on it and be pushed around the room. It has a storage box that he puts wooden blocks into. The horn and key keeps him busy without being annoying like a lot of the toys that play music everytime a button is pressed.

I purchased this for my niece for her 1st birthday. My brother tells me that she is really enjoying the walker. She went from hiding her toys in the seat, to scooting around the house, to now pushing it from room to room. It is really growing with her.

Buy 4 in 1 Walker Now

I agree with all the comments above. I'd also add that if your baby has not learnt to stand on his own yet or is just learning, then an adult should be close by. My 10 month old loves the walker. But since he hasn't quite mastered standing without holding anything, he has toppled over while playing with the walker. Fortunately, there was always someone around, so he hasn't hurt himself.

Otherwise, i think this is a great learning toy.

Read Best Reviews of 4 in 1 Walker Here

Although I have not yet seen the product "in action," I am told my the parents of the children that the 3 year old loves this toy as much as the one year old--for whom it was intended. That speaks well to me for an interesting push-toy. Having sent many of these types of toddler-walking-pushing wagons or cars, it was really fun to select a product that was different and from a newer manufacturer.

Want 4 in 1 Walker Discount?

This walker/rider is super cute. My son loves the built in tool box in the seat he loves to hide things! The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 is that when used as walker and pushing on the front it flips very easily because there is no weight in the back. I started putting some books or magazines in the tool box to give it some weight and keep it from flipping.

VTech - Peek At Me Bunny

VTech - Peek At Me BunnyThe Vtech Peek At Me Bunny is a fun, interactive learning toy that is also cuddly and can help soothe your little one to sleep.

This electronic learning plush doll engages babies and toddlers by stimulating the senses through interactive play. Using music, lights, sounds and touch this huggable friend makes my son laugh, smile and giggle both day and night.

Press the left foot to turn the bunny "on". You'll be able to choose a fun daytime mode or a soothing nighttime mode.

In the daytime mode, the bunny sings and his tummy lights up. Press the triangle or the square in his hands or the circle on his foot (I have found that they all do the same thing with the exception of one phrase that describes what is on that hand or foot) to learn colors, shapes and play song games. He will say things like "I have a yellow triangle in my hand", "I have an orange square in my hand", "I have a pink circle on my foot", "I have two big feet", "Tap your feet!", "Clap your hands!" and "I have 2 small hands".

The VTech plush Peek at Me Bunny has two playful sensors for an interactive play experience. The sound sensor activates peaceful sounds, endearing phrases and short tunes in the "night" mode. In the day mode, after he says "Clap your hands" , if you clap your hands, he will say a rewarding phrase like "wow this is fun!"

The light sensor engages infants in a game of peek-a-boo in the "playtime" mode, by bringing the ears down to cover the eyes. Apparently there are magnets in each ear that activate this mode when touched to the eyes. (But I have to be honest, I could not get this feature to work for the life of me!)

In the night mode, the bunny plays five minutes of continuous lullaby music to help calm babies after a busy day of playtime. The light on his tummy fades slowly in and out. After the unit has powered down, if the sound sensor detects several seconds of consistent sound, like crying, he will play two soft melodies. How cool is that? This is probably my favorite feature of the bunny.

Even though the recommended age for this toy is 6 to 36 months, I feel for educational purposes, it is best suited for a child under 2. As far as being a soothing friend, well, lets just say even *I* enjoy the lullabies every now and again when falling asleep!

well baby girl likes the music but thats about it. she plays more with plain stuffed dolls that do nothing. maybe its her preference but its just a stuffed bunny thats stomach lights up while it sings or says something

Buy VTech - Peek At Me Bunny Now

My baby got this bunny as a gift. The daytime mode is annoying, but the nighttime mode has proved itself priceless. I wish you could set it to day or night on the back instead of with its foot button. my daughter changes it at night by rolling onto its foot and it starts laughing and singing, but in nighttime mode when she crys it will kick on with lullabys and most of the time put her back to sleep! I just wish it was ONLY nighttime bunny!

My one year old got this toy at 9 months and has used it as her soothing sleep buddy. My daughter wakes up 3 or 4 times a night, the toy has a sensor that would pick up on her crying and the bunny would start playing lullabies again. Now she is one year old and the sound sensor has quit working. She has been so used to being soothed by the bunny that we are struggling to soothe her back to sleep when she wakes up. 5 stars for my being adorable and making my daughter love her, two stars for the sensor going out after only three months.

North American Bear Company Mammas and Babies Rattle

North American Bear Company Mammas and Babies Rattle, Ducknice little bunny, pretty small though, but it was OK, my rabbit likes it. That was the main reason for the purchase..

The size is nice, bigger than the other rattles I have purchased. It has a good color for a baby girl and is soft. However the longer fur makes the rabbit look a bit off especially on the tips of the ears. The image looks better than the actual item. Further I moved the rabbit around a bit and it never rattled. Took a good shake to make noise and learned the rattle was in the head. It rattles fine now, so maybe the rattle was stuck at first or something? Its just ok to me, but better than my other options.

Lamaze Shakin Snail Rattle

Lamaze Shakin Snail RattleThis is a great little rattle. It is brightly colored and has antenna as well as small ribbons for my little one to fiddle with. The bright colored center of the snail shell is the rattle part and it is visually stimulating. The snail itself contains a crinkly material inside so it is fun for her to squish. There is a squeaker in its head but, my little one is not strong enough to squeak it. My three year old can make it squeak, however, which the little one seems to enjoy (I think she just likes the attention of the three year old.) All and all a great toy. It seems to be a hit.

The baby loved this rattle. She loved loved looking at it and playing with it. I would recommend this product.

North American Bear Tickly Toy Zebra Ring Toy, Black/White

North American Bear Tickly Toy Zebra Ring Toy, Black/WhiteThis was baby's first favorite toy. At a week old, he would stare intently at Zebra. When he was a bit older, we would brush the ribbons across his hands and he would smile. Now he likes that it rattles and nicely fits in his mouth. I've since bought 2 more of these to give as gifts and plan to include this in all future baby gifts.

Update at 5 mos: He still loves this toy. It is easy for him to grasp and there are lots of parts he can fit in his mouth. At this point, zebra is in a tie for favorite with Sophie the Giraffe, but it is still an awesome toy.

Explore & Discover Color Viewers

Explore & Discover Color ViewersGood educational value but the "fun" quotient only lasts for so long. Then it's time to put them away till they are "new" again and get them out and let them explore all over again. :) Still recommend them for helping to learn about colors and how to blend colors to make things like orange, green, purple... Different ages will get a different learning value from them so they have longevity. My kids are 5.5 and 2.5 yrs old.
