Rainbow Stacker and Shape Sorter

Rainbow Stacker and Shape SorterThis toy is only about 4 inches tall total, and the stacking pieces do not stay together if you even blow on them! The top red piece is only about 1 inch in diameter with makes it a choking hazard for small children. I fail to see how this can pass safety checks in the USA.

Horrible purchase!!!

My 1 year old daughter received the Haba Rainbow Tower as a gift for her 1st birthday. We have many Haba toys and they are made to the highest quality. We have never had any problems with any of them. However, my daughter nearly choked to death today on the top red piece on the Rainbow Tower. She managed to get the entire piece in her mouth and couldn't get it out. It was wedged in her mouth so tight that I couldn't get my fingers around it to pull it out. Thankfully I got it out in time. I would not recommend this toy for children under the age of 3. We were very lucky today!

UPDATE: While it has been several years, since I posted my initial review of this product there are still a few things I would like to note. A few weeks after I posted my review I was contacted by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. To my surprise an inspector came to my home to investigate my claim and to see the product. The inspector spent about 30 minutes asking me questions, measuring the product and taking photos. In the end my claim was dismissed, because the piece in question did not fit through the Small Objects Choke Tester that the CPSC uses to determine if a product is a choking hazard. However, make no mistake this product easily fits through a toilet paper roll holder, which is what most healthcare professionals tell you to us.

While my claim was disregarded it does look like the CPSC made HABA clarify the age recommendations for this product. Back in 2009, the recommended age for the HABA Rainbow Tower was 6 months and up. That recommendation was posted on both the HABA web site and also on Amazon.com. However, the box that the product came in had the recommended age at 1 ½ 3 years. I can see now that the recommended age online is now 1 ½ years, so I'm happy to see that has been clarified.

I still consider myself very fortunate for getting that piece dislodged from my daughter's mouth. And to this day, I will not let me children play with the top red piece of the Rainbow Tower.

As for the quality of the product and how it's held up over the years ... It's HABA and they do make the best wood toys on the market.

Buy Rainbow Stacker and Shape Sorter Now

I like the fact that this is a very natural toy. My 8 month old daughter has been strongly drawn to it for the last 2 months despite many other toys being available. We soon lost the top red block but it is still very usable. The 2 things I'd say is that I thought it was going to be bigger and I thought that it was going to be the kind of toy where they are rings that slip on to a center pole. But it's actually kind of small (but not choke able) and they are full blocks with circular groves that fit in to each other. I also like the fact that you can rearrange the order and it still fits.

Read Best Reviews of Rainbow Stacker and Shape Sorter Here

I bought this for my son when he was 9 months. We took away the smallest piece until he was 15 months. At 17 months, it is still one of his favorite toys and it has held up great. The toy is made from smooth, solid hardwood with a water base paint. This means it is totally non-toxic in every way. When he was 9 months, he quickly learned how to stack them according to size and no we discuss the colors as he plays around with all the variations to build. He even has his toy Telly build the tower. I can't say enough about the quality and educational qualities that HABA toys have.

Want Rainbow Stacker and Shape Sorter Discount?

...and not really in a good way.

I wanted to replace my daughter's Ikea ring stacking toy, which consists of seven rings that you can fit on a red pole.

I didn't read the description carefully enough, I guess, because this is not the same kind of toy. It is much smaller than most stacking towers, first of all (look closely at the size).

In addition, the tower does not consist of doughnut-like rings that can be placed on a pole. Instead, it consists of discs, each of which has a little divot on one side, and a bump on the other, so they fit into one another like that. So, if you are looking for one of those, do not buy this toy!

Finally, my own did not come complete (it was missing a piece) from Moolka for some reason, and I am still trying to obtain my return postage so that I can send it back and get my refund. This is more pertinent to the review of the seller but I think it is worth mentioning here as you don't have a choice of sellers.

That said, I agree with the other reviewer that the quality of the toy is very good, and if you are looking for a small rainbow stacking toy, you will probably like this one.

Bright Starts Rattle and Teethe, Pretty in Pink

Bright Starts Rattle and Teethe, Pretty in PinkI bought this teether for my granddaughter. The one I purchased looked a little different from this viewing. In fact, it was much prettier and girlie. She enjoys it, but when first purchased, she was a little younger than her nine month age now. When she was smaller the end with the beads inside did not fit in her mouth. Now, she can place it in her mouth since she's older, which causes her to gag. I saw her do this today and took it away.

My advice is to use this only if this teether cannot go inside a babies mouth from any length. The larger rounded teething end is no problem, because of its size.

My mother-in-law bought this for my 5-month-old daughter who absolutely LOVES this! We've tried other teethers that my daughter just would not get interested in. The balls rattle and make enough noise that keeps her interested in it like "see what I can do!" The teether is strong and I can put the whole thing in the freezer if teething is bothering my baby. It's very easy for her to hold on to (or throw if she feels like playing her favorite game of Mommy-pick-up). The one my daughter has is green and pink instead of yellow in the middle and the hole is just big enough for her to get a solid grip with her thumb. If my baby is upset, I just shake this in front of her and her entire attention goes to the toy. Wonderful!

Gund Halloween - 13" Woodsy Plush Gray Wolf

Gund Halloween - 13' Woodsy Plush Gray Wolfthis a real good one, except there was no warning included about the possibility it would eat the smaller stuffed animals.

So soft and cuddly. I got this for my son when he was 1. Easy for him to hang on to the arms and legs and he loves dragging him around the house. Big hit :)

VTech - V.Smile Baby: Care Bears Play Day

VTech - V.Smile Baby: Care Bears Play DayI can't believe that after all these years, Care Bear products are still so popular. My daughter loved them, and now my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves them too. This game is great the smile on her little face says it all.

We love this game! It is so cute and teaches her so much. I like that it teaches feelings. My 16 month old daugher loves this game. I am glad we purchased it...you won't be disappointed.

Unfortunately this cartridge is pretty bad.

1. The buttons are very non-responsive

2. The sign language is not clear

3. The games have little interaction with the child

The response time is slow when a button is pushed and the games are too confining. My son doesn't like it as much as the one that came with the unit.

The original game that came with the unit is very responsive because something always happens when a button is pushed but, not so in the care bears version.

Also, the baby sign language is not clear because the hands are too small and it's hard to see what sign they are demonstrating.

Rovio Angry Birds King Pig Toddler Costume

Angry Birds Green Pig Costume - 3T/4TPerfect sizing. Great price.

Very comfortable for my son most costumes can completely immobilize a child.

Might want to pull it out of the package and hang it for a few days before using cause it has some funny wrinkles in it.

My kid loved it, and that is all that counts right?

It was made out of really cheap material which is OK because it was a cheap costume, but it was not that cheap. I understand paying for the "Angry Birds" name, but the quality I received from other costumes for my other kids I would bypass this one.

When you get it, there are massive wrinkles where the custom was folded. I attempted to steam them out. Still there. I attempted to Iron them out. Still there. I thought maybe a wash would help. After washing on gentle in my machine there were hundreds of tiny wrinkles in addition to the big ones I was trying to remove.

People see it and just love the pig. My kid is 1-year-old and 80-90%-tile, and this is just fit for him, so be careful and don't buy this for your 2-year-old if s/he is in high percentile. Material is those plastic fabric, so don't expect your kid can wear them for too long or they can get hot. What can you expect for that price and for thing that you only wear for 1-2 hours.

Radio Flyer Little Red Wagon

Radio Flyer Little Red WagonThis wagon is a great size for a 1 year old to pull around the house. However, the wheels on our wagon do not roll easily. Maybe after time, they will loosen up. Still, my 16 month old son drags the wagon around the house. Just big enough for a couple of Barbies which is what my daughter puts in it. In summary this wagon could be better but is not terrible. Just wished the wheels rolled better.

This little wagon is adorable but that's about it! It's teeny tiny. The handle is so short that my 1 1/2 year old cannot pull it without stooping a bit. It often turns over on its side when changing directions. In my opinion, this wagon is better for looking at than playing with. It would look really cute in a boys room on top of a dresser with a stuffed animal in it.

Buy Radio Flyer Little Red Wagon Now

My one year old loved to pull this around inside the house. That was 5 years ago and now his little sister is enjoying it. Because we rarely used it outside it's still pristine. It is small but great for driving around a small set of books and toys. A nice prop for toddler photos too... a small bouquet of flowers, fall leaves and pumpkin, etc... My fondest memory of this wagon was seeing Daddy pulling the large red wagon full of firewood while our two year old pulled a pieces of kindling in his. Great male bonding and so adorable!

THIS TOY WAS A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT AS GIFTS FOR MY THREE YEAR OLD TWIN GRANDCHILDREN. THE WHEELS DON'T TURN AND THE HANDLE IS TOO SHORT FOR THE LITTLE ONES TO USE WITHOUT BENDING DOWN. VERY BAD DESIGN. WISH I HAD MY MONEY BACK.

Want Radio Flyer Little Red Wagon Discount?

This was intended to be a toy for a toddler but is more like a display or theme container. Is not suitable as a real wagon.

It will only serve as a pull toy for a short time in that the handle is too short for most children to comfortably pull.

Like most wagons it has a tendency to tip over when turned sharply to right or left. Not quite big enough for a child to ride in and would not be safe to do so. Stability will be a problem for toddlers. This will be frustrating to a child.

If you are looking for a toy this is NOT RECOMMENDED. It would make a great container for gift or display.

Chicco Hello Baby Animals Phone

Chicco Hello Baby Animals PhoneMy one-year old son received this as a gift for his birthday and has enjoyed the response of the buttons and playing with the phone. The tunes are catchy, so parents beware...you may find yourself singing (or humming) along as your child dances to the theme music. The flags are a cute touch to indicate which of the two languages are selected. My son goes back and forth between them so he can listen to the theme music before engaging the three-animal phone book that includes animal sounds and the name of the animal. As an educational toy, it is another way for him to learn English and Spanish apart from books and family conversation, so I find it to be helpful. The only complaint I have is minor and relates to how difficult it is to remove the phone from the cradle on this toy. While everything else on it is perfect for child, for some reason the removable phone requires a little extra effort to extract it from the base. Not a problem, since there is usually an adult nearby to help, but it can be frustrating to a 12-18 month child.

On the educational side, there was an inconsistency with the toy where it uses the word puppy during idle time to encourage continued play. All other times, it uses the word dog. This inconsistency only occurs in English, and is the only reason I don't give a perfect 5 star, more like a 4.5. Also, the picture is not reflective of the print for English and Spanish, which is Perro/Dog instead of the Italian, Cane/Dog.

Great toy, great gift. Perfect for 12 months+ and interested in English/Spanish bilingualism.

Very easy to handle for a small child. The volume is perfect. Lots of lights and sounds. I actually enjoyed pushing a few buttons and I'm an adult! A reasonable price for a great toy.

Aurora Plush Baby 6" My Photo Safari Carrier with Sound

Aurora Plush Baby 6' My Photo Safari Carrier with SoundI bought this for my 10month old after a trip to the zoo. She has carried that silly car around for the last six months. The animals are a perfect size for her little hands. As a teacher I love the animal names stitched onto each animal. I think the noises on the giraffe and hippo could be more realistic... but this is a baby toy and my daughter doesnt seem to mind.

I gave durability a four only because my daughter has worn the batteries out of the elephant (It is her favorite because grandpa makes that noise with her). However, in saying that, I called the company up and told them that I could not replace the batteries (they are stitched inside the animal) and they are shipping me out a free replacement. Very excellent customer service.

I just found out there are three or four other sets of these toys. We will be getting the rest for our daughter for Christmas this year. I wish I could give them to her now!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
UPDATE My daughter is now 2 1/2. I cannot explain how wonderful of an investment these sets of toys are to us. We have spent many HOURS playing and pretending and acting. We have most of the animal sets. She still plays with them to this day as well as her 7.5 yo sister. I would also increase the durability to 5 stars as we have had NO problems with any of the animals in any set. Enjoy.
This is really a cute set of animals. The sounds they emit are really big for such small little things. The tiger's roar freaks out my son a little bit (11 months old), but I'm working of trying to make it "funny" instead of scary, so I'm sure he will eventually get over it...
I was really disappointed when the set arrived and the names of the animal were not on the animals as stated in the description. I will reach out to the company when I have the time to see if we can do an exchange bc the names were one of the reasons I purchased the toy in the first place...
Overall, I like this very much and would recommend...
Buy Aurora Plush Baby 6" My Photo Safari Carrier with Sound Now
I researched before buying, but obviously didn't read all the reviews carefully enough. The item you are buying is not as pictured. My daughter loved playing with the barnyard version of this toy while visiting my sister's house. Hers had the names of the animals embroidered on them, just as in the picture. The one I ordered for my daughter does NOT. While the toy is still fairly cute, this part bothers me. Other than that, my daughter likes it well enough, so I guess I will keep it.
Read Best Reviews of Aurora Plush Baby 6" My Photo Safari Carrier with Sound Here
I was so excited to receive this item, we already have the Aurora barnyard set and my daughter loves it! I was so disappointed when I opened the (very cute!) carrier and squeezed the first toy, which happened to be the giraffe. It sounded like a terrified, screaming girl! Now, I am not a giraffe expert, but I do like to visit the zoo and have seen many a giraffe up close I have NEVER heard a giraffe make that sound. If I did, I wouldn't go near it! My husband was sitting right next to me when I squeezed it and he was alarmed, too!
Still, I had faith, maybe the elephant would be better? I took it out and squeezed. Um, no. Instead of the normal elephant sound (we all know what that is), it was again scary and shrill. There are so many cute elephant sounds out there (think Dumbo or Jungle Book)I can't figure out why they wouldn't pick something a little less frightening.
The tiger was next and I had started to laugh before I even squeezed its belly. Now this one was more realistic almost sounded like a recording of a real tiger letting out a big ol' roar. So yeah, acceptable, but after the first two, this toy was still getting high marks on the scary factor. A realistic tiger roar is good, but still unsettling.
The last one I listened to was the hippo. It makes a bubblig sound. Cute and purple (if they are going for realistic, as the animal sounds imply, why make it purple?) but just not enough to make me like the toy. Not a keeper in my book.
Bottom line if you have a child who likes to roar and is into scary animal sounds, this toy is great. I give them props for realism. I just don't think my 14 month old will enjoy it and even if she did, my husband and I wouldn't.
**Update: My parents were in town and saw this toy on the table where I was prepping to mail it back. Without me talking to them about it, they had the same reaction when they took the animals out! Terrible sound effects!**
Want Aurora Plush Baby 6" My Photo Safari Carrier with Sound Discount?
We were given this toy for our 7-month-old son a few weeks ago and we LOVE IT! The toy is perfect for our son he can grab the car/jeep by the handle and swing it around. He loves opening the top and pulling out all of the animals. The animals are all just the right size for his little hands.
The giraffe and the hippo make funky noises (not realistic at all) but other than that the toy is a lot of fun and will be a good learning tool as he gets older.
Grimm's Large Wooden Conical Stacking Tower, 11-Piece Rainbow Colored Stacker, Made in Germany
Grimm's Large Wooden Conical Stacking Tower, 11-Piece Rainbow Colored Stacker, Made in GermanyThis product offers a better variety of sizes for the little one to put into order than the little plastic one for smaller children. It also covers all of the colors in the color spectrum with a few more greens and blues for light and dark comparison.
The only drawback is that my little one likes to try to put them on her fingers for rings and sometimes they get stuck.
Over all I am pleased with this product.
My 18 month old loves this as does her 3 year old brother. It's so nice to have more than 5 rings, and because each ring has the same size hole you can stack them any which order you please. I bought this for my daughter to play with as an early Montessori 'job'. So far, it keeps her attention 3-4 times longer than the cheap plastic version that you can buy anywhere. Also, great quality. One thing that is not mentioned though, is that the color is more of a stain on the wood than a paint (it's not glossy). I was expecting more of a finish like Haba, but that's ok!
This toy is not only a household favorite, its also an excellent gift! We purchased this for our second child to replace the M&D stacker that we got for our first child. The M&D paint peeled and chipped after only a few weeks of use. This stacker is STAINED with a natural/non-toxic stain that seems much more durable. We've had it for a while now and I can already tell you that it will last through our third child's use. It also makes a beautiful gift, as do any of the Grimm's toys. Highly recommend.
So this is a stellar stacker. All of Grimm's wooden toys are hand dyed and made in Germany. The colors practically glow. It makes a nice stacker toy and because the pieces are bigger you can use them as blocks as well.
Plus, it makes a really pretty "display toy/art piece" for a nursery or toddler bedroom.
It's the perfect size for her to carry around. Love the fact that it's handmade and not some cheap plastic crap. Packaged up very well to survive the trip here.
Tiny LoveDVD MagIQ - Tickle the Lamb
Tiny LoveDVD MagIQ - Tickle the LambGOOD: I just purchased this item for my daughter and she loves it. I have only had this item for about 3 days now and she gets excited every time she sees me pick up the lamb. She is not quiet 3 months, yet she kicks her legs, waves her arms, and giggles the entire time the DVD OR the CD is playing. It really does manage to keep her attention the entire time it is playing. I especially like how the good-bye song at the end is so soothing. It puts her to sleep every time, so it is perfect for right before nap time. I would recommend this to any parent with a little one who needs just a few minutes to distract them. Gives you enough time to actually have some lunch yourself or even prepare dinner.
BAD: Although my daughter seems to adore it, a friend of mine's son is really frightened of the lamb. He likes the DVD just fine. However, ever since the lamb talked for the first time, he is really freaked out by it. He can not even look at it when it is turned off and not talking to or blinking at him. If possible, you may want to expose your child to the animal before you buy it, just in case.
This is my first review so bare with me...I bought this for my 8 month old and she drags it everywhere!! She laughs when the doll laughs its soo cute. She tries to have little conversations with the doll. When we are in the car she just holds on, talks, and squeezes until she fall asleep. I have not had any problems with this toy yet, but will try and keep you up to date. For now I recommend it. We will be buying the dog and cow for Christmas.
Buy Tiny LoveDVD MagIQ - Tickle the Lamb Now
I was so excited to get this new product for my 3 1/2 month old after reading so much about it. After we put in the batteries and played the DVD, I saw the "magic" happen. Of course, it was cute with the interaction between the stuffed animal and the DVD while it was playing, but here's the bad part. All the animals have a bellybutton where it transmits/receives the audio for it to interact with the DVD, but it is this very annoying, even blinding LED blue light. How can we even stare at the animal without getting blinded by the light? Not to mention, a baby's sensitive eye. The animal only says a few phrases that correspond to parts of the DVD, which I understand is all that is necessary for a 3-12 month old. The voice of the animal is rather frightful motherese tone, which was not soothing for babies. Don't get me wrong, my baby was staring at her new "friend", but she did wail at the beginning. Overall, I thought the product was not bad, but the reason I gave it such a low score was because of the bright LED light that makes it impossible to stare at the toy and the DVD content. After finishing the entire DVD the first time, I boxed the product back up and returned it the next day. For a product that is geared for babies starting at 3+ months, it needs more music. I think I'll be sticking to the Baby Einstein series because they actually get it right the first time. Don't waste your money on this product unless you want your baby to be blinded by the adorable little lamb.
I bought the cow for my daughter who is now 4 and still asks to watch her "cow" movie-i couldnt wait for her sister to be old enough to purchase the lamb. This is a very educational toy--my daughter loves it!!
Want Tiny LoveDVD MagIQ - Tickle the Lamb Discount?
This was given to my daughter as a Christmas gift when she was 4 months old. She absolutely loves this DVD. The only bad or annoying thing about the doll is that I can't always get it to work. You have to hold the doll in front of the TV speakers and it's supposed to sync up. Our doll just blinks instead of syncing so my daughter watches the video without the doll and enjoys it just as much. She especially loves when her adorable friends play "peek-a-boo" with her. She giggles the whole time.
The doll is definitely a great interactive toy but the DVD by itself is amazing too. My daughter holds onto the lamb while she watches and pushes his belly button.
I highly recommend this toy.
Wonderworld Bouncing Sorter
Wonderworld Bouncing SorterMy son really loves this toy. And I love the fact that it's 2-toys-in-1. It has multiple motor skills for children to learn. Not only are they learning the shapes and learning to put them in the correct slot but they are also learning the motor skills of pushing on the lever for the shape to pop out. Actually they are learning more than just that because they also learn color coordinating as well with shapes and the colors on the levers! When my son learned to use 1 hand to push the lever and 1 hand to take the shape out, he was very excited!
The reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the blue lever for the square shape is a little bit off (it's a little bit lower than the rest)...it's actually not that big of a deal. And my hubby made a good point: that it's made out of wood and perhaps that particular lever wasn't sanded down the exact same as the others... Again, not too big of a deal to us.
What is a bid deal is supporting companies that make good quality wooden toys that are eco-friendly and non-toxic! THAT right there is important to our family!! And we are very grateful to have found another good company that does just this! :o)
I wasn't sure about this sorter when I bought it, as there were no reviews at the time. But two months later, I can say I'm very happy with this purchase. That's why I'm writing this detailed review now.
I wanted something to help my then 13 month old identify colors as well further his interest in "fitting" different objects in corresponding holes (he loves Plan Toy's punch and drop and loves to see what else he can fit into those circles). Right from the start he could place the yellow circle into its slot and had fun stacking the other blocks. He wasn't able to figure out how to get it out using the "bouncer" button but he simply turned the base upside down and managed that way. A couple of weeks later he could do the blue square and now he can do all of them on his own. We sometimes have to help him with the green rectangle, as this is a tricky one because it appears to be a flat square (the rectangle being made from its side) but it's actually slightly longer on one side so though it looks like it should fit any side of the "square" it only fits two. Not really a big deal, but it would make more sense if it was just a square, no?
Besides the sorting feature he likes to press the colored buttons (with or without the blocks in place). I'm not sure the color coding has helped him identify the correct shape but he likes to press on one button color, while I name the color and we go back and forth this way for a minute or two. I actually think this has helped him label/identify the different colors which he is now just able to do. Another interesting aspect of this toy is two hand coordination. He knows if he presses the botton with the block in it, it will pop up (not completely out of the slot as I understood it in the product descrition). But if he then uses the same hand to grab the block, he won't be able to grab it as it will have fallen back down once his finger releases the button. He just recently is able to sometimes press with one hand, and pick up the block with the other. But mostly (after the blocks are in their slot) I press the buttons, and he picks them up out of the sorter or I will forcefully push down and have them pop out or "bounce." He likes that too, but I admit I was initally disappointed with how hard you have to press to have them "bounce" out. That's the main reason I have given this 4 stars and not 5. I think he could play with this independently longer if he could get the shapes to bounce out himself. Otherwise this is a great quality wooden sorter toy and we enjoy playing with it together.
I purchased two of these, one for my daughter and one for my Niece (both 1 year) they both loved it. It is made very solidly and looks and feels like it will last a long time!
Nice quality product. I bought it for a 9 month old and it has the potential for use for awhile. Nicer than its plastic equivalents.
this is a nice toy. Wood is made well, but the shapes you push to make the blocks pop off fall apart from the sorter. I am not sure if they are supposed to stay together, but it doesn't work otherwise. I may use wood glue and see what happens.
Guidecraft Fraction Action Board
Guidecraft Fraction Action BoardOne of the things that we've been focusing on a bit more lately has been fractions. The focus hasn't just been for the younger two, but also as a reminder for the older girls as well {amazing how things can just `slip' our minds!}. The Guidecraft Fraction Action and Fraction Cups have been a great `hands-on' math toy for just that purpose.
Both the Fraction Action and Fraction Cups are made from an eco-friendly rubberwood and then stained with low VOC aniline dyes, so they are safe for even super little ones to chew and drool on.
The Fraction Action Board is 9.5" square and not quite 1/2" tall and for ages 2 and up. The set has 18 stained wood pieces that fit into the nine shaped spots on the self-storing board: circles, squares and hexagons. Each shape has fraction puzzles of varying difficult ~ whole, halves and thirds.
The Fraction Cups are four great little portable puzzles containing 10 pieces that explore the fractions of halves, thirds and quarters. Both sets come with a simple activity booklet for use with your child.
Our son liked the bright colors and fitting the pieces together like puzzles. For our older girls it gives them a colorful visual reminder for how they can divide things up and still have a whole. The puzzles will definitely be used as a hands-on reinforcement through our school year for all of the kids.
The Fraction Action Board and Fraction Cups are obviously wonderful for teaching and reminding children about fractions, but with the variety of colors and sizes, they can also be used to sort by shape, color, height, and more.
My 16 month son likes this toy. So far he usually just likes taking the pieces out and carrying around the circle and pentagon. But the other day he actually put together the two pieces of a circle. This is a toy that will grow with your child.
This fraction board is a simple way to introduce basic fractions to a young child through play. The child can learn simply by playing and the parent can introduce vocabulary through play time together!
Mary Meyer Sweet Chocolate Poochie Puppy, Blue
Mary Meyer Sweet Chocolate Poochie Puppy Blue, 24'My son got this puppy before he was born--it became his favorite lovey. Puppy goes EVERYWHERE so now of course it's pretty beat up. I bought this new one as a replacement. Can't believe how different they look now. Still wont' let the original go so now we leave one at home and take the other one on our adventures.
Just and FYI--if you put it through the washing machine--as you will have to do with a toddler--the fur will matt and it will lose it's fluffyness. But that doesnt' matter to my little guy--just means he's well loved :)
K's Kids Learning Shoe
K's Kids Learning ShoeReceived this as a gift about a month ago. Keeps my 9 month old entertained. He likes to chew on the shoe strings and look at all the other features. I imagine he will find more to do with it as he gets more coordinated. So far he loves it....which means I love it.
Right now the baby loves the mirror the best but as she plays with it she's become more interested in the button, the velcro and the laces. Great toy a baby can grow with.
I bought this for my grandson's toybox at my house (8 months old). He loves the bright colors, chews on the red nose, looks at himself in the mirror, and examines the features he can't do just yet. I think it's a really cute addition to his array of toys and something he can grown into.
