These are our daughters "lovies". She takes them everywhere and they get filthy. Instructions say not to wash, but we have machine washed and dried ours multiple, multiple times (without the plastic ring), and they have come out fine except for some shrinkage. She doesn't seem to mind that they are smaller, and they sure look and smell better!

I got this for my 7 month old daughter and she loves it. Since it arrived and I gave it to her she hasnt put it down. The mirror is a real mirror which means no distortion or blurry-ness. The butterfly on the side makes crinkle noises, if u lift up the butterfly there's a family of bugs painted on it. The lion part rattles when its shaken. Its made of super soft material and is really big.

This is a really great item!

Well, maybe it's because my baby was around 7 months old when I bought this for her, but she really is not interested in it at all.

I thought it would make a great toy because of the different sides, crinkly noise, and mirror....but nope. It's just not that appealing to her. I still am keeping it for future kiddies, but you can find other more interesting toys out there.

I brought this blanket for my daughter-in-law. The ability to carry this product all folded into the zebra was a great plus.. easy to take with you and have an immediate blanket to place baby on.Interactive toys will be great as she gets older all in one package. I think any young mum would find this handy to have and it makes for a great gift idea as well.

Bought this for my nephew and my sister tells me that they both put it to good use, the blanket is fleece soft, highly recommend for newborns or apparently moms as well.

Fisher-Price Go Baby Go! 1-2-3 Crawl Along Snail

We started using this for tummy time at about 3 months, and our little guy has been enthralled with it ever since. He would reach over and try to touch it and this really helped him learn to turn over. Now at 4.5 months he just can't get enough of it and plays with it daily. It was a gift and we NEVER thought we'd get so much use out of it. HIGHLY recommend!!!

This toy is delightful and my 5 month old baby adores it. She laughs and becomes excited whenever I put the toy next to her. It also prevents her from throwing a fit during tummy time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This was excellent when my daughter hated tummy time we could put her on the floor where she could see the mirror and she'd happily stare at herself and bat at the toy for a good 15 20 minutes (forever in baby time). Right now she's 5 months and it's still a good distraction, but she's more interested in the tags on everything. I think it will become useful again in a month or two when she can sit up and rock it and then further down the road when we can unlock it and she can crawl after it. I don't know that it's all that educational, though. And, as in all battery operated toys, the songs will drive you batty. I liked it so much, though, that I bought one for my cousin and her new baby.

I bought this for my daughter when she was 2 1/2 months old, she played with it until she was about 9 1/2 months old. She really loved this toy and it really helped her learn to crawl. I purchased this from Target for $14.99 and in my mind it was worth every penny.

When I first purchased this toy my daughter was not liking tummy time very much at all. She HATED to be on her stomach and would get so mad and cry. We tried everything to help her enjoy tummy time but nothing worked. Finally I tried this, even though it was beyond her age level, thinking that if nothing else she could look at herself in the mirror and at the flashing lights. It worked! Instead of spending only a minute or so on her belly she was spending a full 10 minutes at a time, then 30, then soon after that we couldn't get her to lay on her back! She was crawling all over the house!

She didn't really 'chase' the snail like it says they can do very often. Sometimes I would roll it and she would go after it though. She would just lay on her belly and laugh at the mirror. When she was sitting up on her own she would lay the snail on its back and spin it around the mirror. Or push it back and forth. Or teeth on the antennae. Or just hit it like a drum. She didn't really play with the ladybug either. But she loved the music and the talking and the lights. For a baby toy she played with it for a really long time considering some of her other ones have only held her interest for 2 weeks.

It is very durable, the mirror never scratched and she used to hit it with a wooden spoon. It was easy to clean with an antibacterial wipe, and we never had to buy batteries for it. The batteries that came in it from the store are the same ones in there today. Right now I have it packed up in a box to give to a friend of mine since my daughter has outgrown it. Fisher-Price has been around for ages so its a brand I trust. My daughter has a lot of other Fisher-Price toys that we have been happy with.

I can understand why some reviewers have said this toy is not so safe. It is heavy, which is probably my only con. You definitely should not leave a small baby alone with it if you think they might try to pick it up and might drop it on their feet or knock it over on themselves. (My daughter went through a phase when she had first learned to stand where she would pick up the snail while standing and drop it just to hear it thunk on the floor. It barely missed her toes a few times so I took it away from her until she got over it) I don't think its heavy enough to cause real damage, just maybe a little boo boo, but still. At the same time, when babies are in the age range for this toy, they should never be left alone with anything ever, especially if they are playing in the floor. The best thing to do is play with your baby while they are playing with this toy (or any other toy), and that way they can't get hurt. If you are looking for a toy that you can leave your baby with so you can go wash dishes or talk on the phone or check your email or whatever, then this is definitely the wrong one. Go get an Exersaucer or a nanny. If you are willing to sit and play with your baby while they learn and explore, then this is probably a winner.

This little mini house is so adorable and a must have for a child's first doll house!! I would recommend this for ages 1 to 3. The doors open up and you can store the figures inside. There is a mini handle on the top for easy toting around!

Soothing Sounds Chimes

My son absolutely loves this toy. The chime sound is so soothing. I love it too. He loves to move it and get the chime to sound, plus the little beads inside the toy are fun to watch. The only draw back is that it is hard plastic, so if your child is still unable to control it they might hit themselves with it. It doesn't weigh that much, and as fast as they grow they'll be able to control it soon.

These beach toys are fantastic! They are much higher quality than the cheaper plastic beach toys available (every other sand toy we have bought has broken within a week or two). My son LOVES themwe took them to the beach this summer and he couldn't get enough of them. The shovel is perfectly sized for his little hands, and he loves to stack the two cups. The box is great toohe loves putting the toys inside of the box, putting the lid back on, and then taking everything out again. He plays with these toys inside the house, at the park, and at the beach. I love the fact that they are biodegradable too. These are a little pricey, but definitely worth it!

I was expecting something much larger upon thinking of beach toys, then again it IS for our 16 m/o and I like that it is a manageable size for her. I also like that it is all contained inside of itself...having a beach item come in a net doesn't do it for me. Right now this is our first and only beach toys for our little one. We are big on minimalism and buying good quality, eco-friendly products and this item fits the bill on both accounts. We live a few blocks from the beach, so I'll check back in with how they hold up after the season.

These biodegradable beach toys are awesome! When I received them, I was so impressed by how durable they feel and by the unique and functional design. All the parts fit inside the cool box with built-in handles and a sifter/lid. AND they've held up fine in the trunk of my car (which tends to be very hot and very messy). My kids loved the shovel and cup, sized just for them. And my oldest had a great time sifting the sand and finding little shells.

I love that these are made from corn (not petroleum) in the USA. And I have piece of mind that if these happen to get left at the beach, they'll biodegrade and not pollute the ocean. But, based on experience, I don't think my kids would ever leave them behind. Great product!

This was a very cute little box but I would have liked it better if it was just a little deeper and if the lid snapped on instead of just being placed over top. The scoop was amazing for my little guy and he loved the cups as well. Unfortunately, my husband lost the scoop our first day on the beach so I can rest knowing it will biodegrade in the ocean. This meant that I had to buy a second one as my little one loved the scoop better than any shovel. I only wish I could buy extra cups and scoops separately so I could buy more without having to buy the whole set because the box was not used too much. He did like the lid as a sifter though!

I didn't know it's recalled until today. I bought this one from Walmart three days ago. It made a blister on my baby's tongue. I think it was caused when he was biting it, his tongue got squeezed between two beads. I will check the consumer report. Do not buy it!!!

Fabric Rattle - Green

It is not that loud, so it does not always sooth the boy. Very soft. Not a safety hazard. Good.

i bought this item (from a different seller)and was very disappointed to learn you only get ONE rattle. They are sold separately so this item 's description is misleading. I thought I was ordering the set of 3 rattles. Also, it is not very durable especially for a baby who puts everything in her mouth and is teething. The rattle has a mesh netting that is not holding up to being chewed on nor being washed. I would not recommend this for a baby but perhaps a toddler who is no longer teething.

Tolo Toys First Friends Postman and Puppy

Purchased this for my daughter. We LOVE tolo toys. They seem to be sturdy, long lasting and safe. Not in this particular case!!!

We had this postman figure a couple of days and the backpack fell off. The sharp metal screw that kept the backpack attached is now sticking out!! I cannot pull it out and I'm sure sure how to glue the backpack back on and ensure it wont fall off again. If it did my daughter could be very seriously injured by a sharp metal screw.

I should NOT have to glue this toy together to protect my daughter.

Very disappointed. I thought these Tolo figures were ultra safe.

Organic Cotton Hooded Towel & Wash cloth - Frog

This is the softest thickest towel I have ever seen and wish they came in adult size! I bought another one for the baby and also bought the little terry robe. One of the towels was discounted (50% off) by one of the Amazon sellers which was a great bargain. I still think it is worth it at full price.

I love all Under the Nile products, and am a regular customer I feel I am doing a good thing for my baby when choosing organic cotton, and also support a company that has respect for its employees. There is a reason why cheap stuff is cheap quality differences, or company uses questionable labor practices.

Very thick & high quality cotton terry towel. I bought a bunch of baby towels (including a few I got sucked into b/c of cute animal hoods), but this is the one I always ended up reaching for after my baby's bath.

Some size info that people might find helpful: The manufacturer says it measures 32x32", but after regular washing over the last 8 months mine is now 30x30". This was a great size for my baby's first 8 months, but he's now outgrown it. Wish it were bigger. I'm on the hunt now for a toddler-size towel of similar quality.

Highly recommended for baby's first ~8mo, but if you want something that will last for longer I would suggest just getting a toddler-size towel from the beginning.

PS about the frog puppet: Very cute and soft. Great for distracting baby during a change (especially now that he hates being on his back ever since he started sitting up), or to get him out of a grumpy state after waking up from a nap. Now that he's teething and sticking everything in his mouth, I also feel much more comfortable sucking on this puppet (made of organic cotton) vs other toys/towels we bought.

I put JJ Cole hooded towels on my registry to save my friends money, but they aren't worth a dollar. They ripped after just two washes and the softness is rapidly fading as well. Fisher-Price Sesame Street Elmo's Learning Fun Laptop

My 19-month-old grandson loves to push buttons. This toy is an adorable "computer" with lots of buttons to push, changeable disks for learning while playing, and easy to carry along.

The Learning Fun Laptop is a nice concept. Unfortunately, it did not work out of the box. It doesn't recognize which card is inserted so it asks questions that do not apply to the scene pictured. Since others have had the same problem this just seems to be a very poorly made toy. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I have had much better luck with the few Leap Frog toys that we have.

I was so excited about this toy for my 16 month old daughter. She squealed with delight when she opened it at Xmas. Unfortunately, the thing only worked for about 1 day. Then it TRIED to work but would only get about half way through a word and stop... like the batteries were dying. We replaced the batteries (my husband even checked the batteries with a voltage meter and they're fully functioning) and it still doesn't work. Very disappointing. On the bright side, I called Fisher Price and they're replacing the toy free of charge, so we'll see if the replacement is any better.

This toy is useless. It is insanely loud, you cant understand anything Elmo is saying, its very top heavy so it wont stand up like it shows in the picture. The design is absurd, there no way a child could push the handle down. It says ages 18 and up, but even if your child could understand the questions theres no way an 18 month old could use this toy. It's nice that it has a handle and its portable, but thats all its good for. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone.

Viking 30-Piece Classic Bucket

I purchased these for party favors for my 2 year old's birthday party. I was embarrassed to include just one, they were very small and pretty cheap looking. I also ended up back at the store to get more for the goodie bags. I was expecting them to have the same wheels as the chubbies or other viking cars/trucks we own (smooth). I wouldn't get these for household toys as they are pretty flimsy and cheap, and so small I don't think my 11 month old could grasp them and move them around, and my 2 year old would rather play with matchbox cars that are about the same size. I would recommend the 15 piece chubbbies bucket instead, they are more durable. I if I had gotten enough of those larger chubbies I would have been happy including just one. We ordered that as well and I'm keeping those for my kids to play with and my 2 year old is more interested in those, as is my younger one.

My son is about to turn two and he's had these for about six months. In that time, these have been his favorite toys. The box the cars come in has a pretty tight lid, so he has to ask for it to be opened. Within moments of being in our playroom, he's got the box and is asking for his cars. These are a total hit. It's funny because when I first saw them I thought they were pretty plain no bells and whistles to these toys. However, it doesn't seem to bother the toddler in our house one bit. They can speed around on his car carpet easily, and there are some boats, a few planes, and a couple of helicopters in addition to the jeeps, tractors and cars.

Sometimes the simplest toys bring the most joy, and that's certainly true of this set!

I purchased this for my son when he was 1. The vehicles are the perfect size for a babies or young toddlers and. I expected the plastic on these to be of poor quality and to have the wheels easily come off, but after 2 years of being thrown, stepped on, chewed on, in the bath and then some they are still completely all in tact. The bucket is sturdy and has stood the test of time as well. My son did take to chewing in the wheels a lot and chewing on the little pegs that hold the front of the airplanes up. The plastic didn't really shred and he more just made indents in the plastic so I was not concerned about my son chewing on them. There is a great variety car, jeep, truck, trailer, tractor, propeller plane, large commercial style plane, helicopter. I could have forgotten some, but I loved there was a variety. The propellers on the propeller plane and helicopter stayed in tact and never came off. I was so surprised how well these have held up. The colours are bright and overall the quality is so much better than a lot of these rubbish toys lasting a few months now a days. I didn't realise I hadn't reviewed these, but honestly, I've had them 2 years and I love them. I am so pleased I bought them and I would buy them again and again. Some people are obsessed with getting something with a brand name on it, but in my experience these sets are better quality than that that comes from a brand name. I imagine my son will outgrow these before they fall apart! But for any little boy or girl who loves vehicles these will be loved for years and years, not just months!
