These are our daughters "lovies". She takes them everywhere and they get filthy. Instructions say not to wash, but we have machine washed and dried ours multiple, multiple times (without the plastic ring), and they have come out fine except for some shrinkage. She doesn't seem to mind that they are smaller, and they sure look and smell better!

This is a great little naptime cozy...my son always puts blankets on his face and the bigger blankets would worry us because we wondered if he could breathe well. After everyone freaks you out about SIDS...I found this little cozy blanket to be PERFECT because its so light, but the beak gives your baby something to chew on, and of course he loves the tags (as all babies seem to). I really reccomend this little duck. Its great.

Maybe it's my fault but when I saw Duck blanket on the description I thought it was a blanket. Maybe I misunderstood...but this thing is the size of a wash cloth. I was so disappointed. So tiny! My son loves ducks so I thought I would get him a duck blanket, I ended up getting a duck wash cloth.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Shop and Learn Walker

We purchased the Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Shop and Learn Walker for our son for Christmas, when he was almost 9 months old. At this point he wasn't even crawling on his tummy yet. He wasn't able to lean on the cart yet but he did love to play with the toys that go in the cart. They were a perfect size for him to hold with one hand and he really liked to shake them.

Around the time he started pulling himself up onto things, at about 10 months he started to pull himself up onto the cart. We keep the cart in his room, which is carpeted so it doesn't roll too fast. The first few times he tried to pull himself up on the cart, it fell over. But it is very light and didn't hurt him at all, just startled him a bit. After a few weeks he was able to pull himself up on the cart while keeping it steady. It taught him some awesome body coordination skills. He enjoyed pulling himself up on the cart and picking the toys out of it and throwing them on the floor.

Around 11 months he started being able to push the cart across the room while walking. He was not walking or standing independently at this point. The cart has been great for teaching in and out opposites as we tell him to put toys in the cart and then take them out again. It is his very favorite toy.

The change of modes is nice but my son tends to prefer the "It's learning time!" mode, and gets annoyed when we change it to one of the other modes. The volume control is great, we try to keep it on the lowest setting for our own sanity and our son hasn't figured out how to flip those switches yet.

This is a really great toy and I do recommend it but with a disclaimer to keep it on the carpet until your child is a confident walker because carpet helps to keep it stable and slow it down.

I bought this for my daughter when she was 7 months old because she started pulling up on furniture and cruising around our home. Within the day that it arrived, she learned how to pull herself up and walk behind it. It only tipped on her once before she got the hang of it and now she loves "shopping" around our living room. I love this toy! She is nine months old now and still loves playing with it. It comes with 4 food toys that fit into shaped spots that teach about shapes and colors and 3 extra food toys to go into the cart. I love the three different settingsshopping, learning, and musicand my husband and I both agree that this is one of the best "noisy" toys we have. It isn't annoying because it's not as predictable as most baby toys; there is no set pattern to the noises and songs that play. I would recommend this toy for any child that is pulling up and cruising. And for any family that would like to enjoy seeing a look of terror in their cat's eyes as the baby chases them :)

We got this for my little girl when she was 13 months and could already walk. I thought she and my 4 year old would enjoy using this as a cart for their kitchen and have fun playing with it. It has had very little use. I think as a shopping cart it's wheels and design are bulky. They like the music and songs. And . . . at 16 months the only thing she wants to do is climb up and sit in it! Good thing is this thing IS very sturdy and will NOT TIP easily. I have read other reviews and moms testify this is the best walker they've used. I think if you want it as a walker you should get it. It is very sfe for them to pull-up on. but if you're looking for a shopping cart toy find something else! : ) hope this helps.

This walker is the best one out there that we've found. Our son had previously owned two others, but after he actually started standing, we found they were useless-didn't roll on carpet, pace was ridiculously fast for a beginner, or they tipped over when he used it for standing support. This product is an excellent value and far more useful than the more expensive walkers we have owned. Highly recommended, excellent quality and value.

Only cons: doesn't turn easily and the shapes are easily misplaced/lost-but that can be said of any children's toy.

Although this toy is stury, somewhat educational and seems to be fun for my son I wish we would've gone for a different shopoing cart. He usually just pushes it around, not utilizing the many electronic features. It's rather bulky so it takes up a lot of room, and it's short so my tall 1 year old will outgrow it in no time. If I could do it all over again I would've bought the fun to imagine shopping cart and saved $20.

I absolutely LOVE our Skip Hop Activity Mat and so does our 8 week old son. When shopping for baby playmats, I narrowed it down between the Boppy Entertain Me Play Gym and the Skip Hop and I am glad I chose this. What I love most about this product is it's beautiful, modern and simple design, compared to the overly busy playmats available on the market. Even the animals have a distinct, modern look that both grown-up and children alike can enjoy. This playmat looks great in our modern home and modern nursery.

Our 8 week old son first looked at the pig and cooed, then took a liking to the cow that has a mirror on it and he just stared and cooed with more delight. All the hanging animals have a fun developmental and interactive feature. The sheep plays a musical song when pressed, the cow has a mirror, the rabbit is attached to a rattle and the pig has a whimsical chime. Even the mat itself has developmental play pieces for baby to discover the cow squeaks, the duck has a crinkly wing and the rabbit has a velcro carrot that rattles. It also comes with a mini pillow for tummy time which we have used, but it is pretty small and looks like it will get outgrown quickly. It's perfect for now though. The mat is a nice sized square and feels like a well-made quilt.

Great looking mat with less garish colors than other mats. My baby loved it for the first few months, when he was mostly playing with the dangling toys. The nice thing about this mat vs. the Tiny Love one I have is that the toy arch is a little higher, so the toys don't dangle too close to my baby's face.

Once my baby really started staying on his tummy, though, this mat unfortunately didn't really interest him anymore. A friend happened to have given me a Tiny Love mat -with lights and music -and my guy prefers that one now. The Tiny Love mat has more to interest babies who are on their tummies -multiple crinkly things, lights, nice mirror. Also, with all the drool that comes with a baby on his/her tummy, the fabric on the Tiny Love mat dries much more quickly than this one.

This is the second of these activity type mats that we have had. For our first son we were gifted a Baby Einstein one with a musical star. The star was popular with him for a long time. However this time I wanted one that came with something to promote tummy time. Looking at the Boppy branded one, it just seemed a little plain. I loved the graphics on this mat the first time I saw it. I like the way the bars clip to the mat with those plastic snap in latches. I do wish there were a couple more toys (there are 5 to hang plus one carrot rattle attached to that mat) but right now my son is totally enraptured by this mat and that is the important thing!

I have 3 kids. This is the 4th activity gym I bought over the years. I have had the Tiny Love Deluxe, a Baby Einstein and a Fisher Price one. The Fisher Price one was great but they don't make it anymore. Well, got this one and love it! Don't waste your money on the Tiny Love ones. They are cheaply made and tacky. I loved the pad on this one and the colors and toys are lovely. The colors are not super bright and annoying. It's just right for little babies. My 3 month old daughter loves it. The toys that comes with it are easy to remove and carry around if needed. Super easy to put together. I always look into several models and reviews before purchasing anything and I think this is by far one of the best. I just wish it was cheaper since there is nothing super elaborated on it. You can also purchase extra cute toys from same collection to add to it.

Haba Fairy Tale Dragon, Rug

My husband and I are expecting our first baby, and we thought that a "castle and dragon" theme would be perfect for a little boy. Alas, we've had such a hard time finding dragon baby items, especially those suitable for a pastel blue nursery, so we decided to invest in this rug despite its rather high price.

We received our rug yesterday (very fast shipping) and are overjoyed with it! The dragon is SO sweet and adorable. Just perfect for a baby's room. The rug is very high quality. The colors are a bit darker than shown online, but that's okay. We'll post pictures as soon as we finish decorating the nursery to give you an idea of how large the rug really is compared to the crib. It fills our nursery nicely.

We're not yet sure how well this rug is going to wear, but we're very pleased thus far!

We get so many compliments on this rug. We've had it for several months now. It gets tons of traffic and it still looks brand new. Very easy to maintain... I vacuum ours once a week and run a lint brush over it every few weeks. I know this rug will serve us well for years to come. We can't be more pleased with this purchase.

This rug looks even better in person. It is so thick and soft. Our son needed a rug in his room that has hard wood floors and this one matches perfectly. As we prepared to move into our new house, I wanted to purchase something really special for my son's new room. With his love of all things dragon and dinosaur, I chose this rug for him. It is just gorgeous. The colors are beautiful, the pile is thick (feels wonderful on bare feet) and my son is found sitting on it, playing with legos, all the time. I bought tons of different teethers for my baby, determined to give her something that would provide her some relief and that she would enjoy chewing on. Out of every one (we have some that are wooden, hard plastic, silicone, gel freezer ones, pacifier-shaped ones, teething necklaces, other natural rubber ones, etc.), this is her absolute favorite. She chews on it all the time. I love the scent of the vanilla as well. It reminds me EXACTLY of the smell of my Cupcake Dolls (for all you fellow 80's kids lol). WeeRide Kangaroo Child Bike Seat

I wanted to get something for my ten month old so I could ride my bike while my three year old rides his. We have a trailer but I wanted to try a seat because I thought it would be easier than dragging the trailer outespecially just for riding slowly around the neighborhood with a three year old!

The front kind seemed like a good idea. The whole reason I bought a trailer in the first place was because I was afraid of my balance being thrown off with a bike seat. This front mounted seat is super for balance! I felt very comfortable with my daughter up front and she loved it! We just went for a test run around the block after installing it.

I was able to install in less than 20 mins with a 10 month old crawling around. So I'd say it was pretty easy. It's also very easy to remove the seat when you don't want it on your bike.

I was a little afraid of how my knees would hit the seat but I figured for the price I would just order it and give it a try and if it didn't work out I'd return it.

It's much better than I thought it would be. My knees don't really hit but I have to pedal in a way that I'm aware that the seats there. Not really a big deal, just something to get use to.

The seat does seem a little wobbly, not terribly so though, so not a huge deal. I may be able to adjust it to keep it from doing this. The seat was so easy to install I actually haven't read the manual yet...

Over all for the price you can't beat it. What a cool thing.

I just want to add that I recently went to our local hospital where they do helmet fittings to get a new helmet for my three year old and they wouldn't sell me one for my daughter until she's a year. The AAP doesn't recommend children ride in trailers or bike seats until a year. Trailers are also recommended over bike seats because the majority of accidents happen in bike seats. Although I would imagine that would be the back mounted type. It would be interesting to see a study about front mounted seats as they become more available.

Get this seat! Just be safe!

I have been looking for a way to take my 2 1/2 year old riding with me. The salesperson at my local bike store refused to sell me a back mounted infant seat because they are so dangerous. I don't want a trailer which are safe, but I enjoy riding the many fire trails by our house.

So this was a great fit.

PROS

1) easy to attachI also switched screws and bolt from the front/back attachment as the seatpost of my TREK needed the bolts from the front attachment.

2) comfortable ridemy daughter is very comfortable and the center of gravity is outstanding... I don't feel unsafe on the bike

3) Easy to removethere is a screw that once you unscrew it you can take the chair off and you can ride normally.

CONS-

1) The seat belt system stinks It is really bad and not very safe.

2) Going up hill is toughdefinitely be in shape for those uphills, more then 2x as tough...but it is a great workout

3) You can't use clipped pedalsbecause you have to splay your legs a little to pedal, clipped pedals are not feasable

Again, My daughter is comfortable (she's 35 inches tall) but in about 3-6 months she will be too tall for this chair... but for now we are having a blast!

The seat is wonderful-it just was not made to be used with a petite rider I guess. I am 5' tall, and when the seat's foot rests are in their fully-extended position, they interfere with my steering mechanism-making it very dangerous for me to make turns. The seat itself is right in my gut. I can lean on it to push it forward, so it isn't too awful, but the worst part is that in order to pedal, I have to extend my legs outwards. It is a terrible strain on my knees and makes this a very uncomfotable-and sometimes overly painful experience.

I had been trying to put together a combination of a good comfort bike and a child seat for over a week and found a great success with this one.

There are some workarounds with which I got them working together. Needless to say, after putting together this, my 2yr 3 month 39" tall kid enjoyed the ride and never wanted to get back home :)

Pros:

1. Significantly better than the Bell child seat (back mounted).

2. Looks and feels much better. Satisfied.

3. My son is 39" tall and 2yr 3 months and weighs around 27lbs. I was hesitant to buy this seat given his tall height for his age. He was able to sit comfortably and still has lot of room to grow!

4. Assembly time: 20-30 min (with workarounds: Read below)

5. The seat is detachable from the child seat frame. That way, you can remove the seat if you wish to go biking on your own.

Cons:

1. The belts are sized for fitting infants when I removed the seat out-of-the-box. You may have to try multiple combinations to fit it for your child. It took me a while and was frustrating.

2. The bottom of the horizontal bar has bolts protruding out. If you rest the bar on the horizontal bar of the frame of the bike, make sure you add some padding (like a piece of soft cloth). Otherwise, the bolts could bite into the paint of the bike frame.

3. The Saddle height adjustment is not possible after adding this child seat. Make sure your bike is adjusted for your height first.

Workarounds and Howto (and comparison with Bell child seat)

I had a terrible experience with the Bell Child seat (rear mounted). I had to return this one since it just wasn't engineered to latch on to the frame near the rear wheel. Poor incompatible design. After force-fitting the Bell child seat, there was hardly 4" space between the saddle and the back of the child seat leaving only around 4" space for my kid. Absolutely a waste!

WeeRide child seat was much easier to assemble, if you can play around with the bike you have.

1. Buy a bike that you think can take such a child seat. Example, I bought a Schwinn 26" Mens Comfort bike from costco for $199 and assembled the seat on it.

2. In my bike, there wasn't enough space to bolt the front of the bar since the vertical space between the moving elements of the handle and the frame was too small. I had to let go of the front bolts. Since the rear ones and the horizontal bar center bolts were secured very tight, I felt comfortable letting go of the front ones.

3. Add a soft cloth padding between the horizontal bar of the child seat and horizontal frame of your bike.

I am really happy with this seat.

I was very disappointed to find that this seat does not fit on either my wife's or my bicycle. Both are fairly standard off-the-bike-store-rack models. The company's misleading advertising states it fits virtually any bike. What it should say is that you must have at least 3/4"-1" of head tube extending above the top tube so that the front mounting clamp will fit without interfering with the headset bearings (steering mechanism.) My trek mountain bike has essentially no such space. My wife's Giant city/trail bike had a little more space due to the sloping "ladies" top tube, but the clamp still did not fit. Had I known this, I would not have wasted the shipping fees, and gotten a seat that fits.

We actually have the pink version of this duck. It is cute but the hole in the bottom makes this bad for Bath Time. It always gets water inside and no matter if you squeeze all of the water out after every use like I do, the inside will not completely dry and it will get moldy inside. Then when you squeeze this to empty the water moldy globs will come out too. Definately NOT something you want in the water with your baby/child, especially when they like to put this in their mouth.

The only reason I can guess this has a hole in the bottom is so it can squeak but in my opinion this is too stiff for a baby or small child to squeeze and it doesn't make much of a squeak anyhow.

IF you are going to get this just for your child to play with OUT of water, it is pretty durable and the bill is nice for babys to chew on.

IF you want a duck for Bath Time, I recommend the Munchkin brand, it also has the "HOT" temperature thing on the bottom. There are no holes so it doesn't get moldy. Both my daughters love playing with it & chewing on its bill.

These characters were the perfect accent to lead guests to my baby shower. I had them laminated so they were much more durable & would last for a longer time since we plan on putting them in our nursery. I didn't read the description well enough. These are die-cast cut-outs rather than stick-on wall decals. I made my peace with that, but the colours are so drab that they hardly represent Dr. Seuss. If I had seen these in person, I would not have bought them.

when arrived the box was kind of torned, and all the caracters were all fold, if they ship the product diferently I would recomend this to everyone.

Careplay Ride-On Play Critter

I got this toy for my 11 month old daugther to help improve her walking. She will not sit in her walker so I thought this would be more fun for her. She did learn fast how to push herself in it (it took her a few days) she likes to push it more than ride it, but it goes to fast for her to push it alone so I have to hold her hand. I looked for a lot of walking/riding toys and most seemed flimzy or not study enough, but this riding toy is pretty sturdy. It's kind of a low to the ground toy. My daugther just turned one and she's already getting too tall for it (her feet drag when she tries to push it, but she is a little taller than average).

We got this for our 15 month old son this past Christmas. I wanted a push/ride toy for him to have on our patio outside since we don't have a yard and we live in a small apartment. I wanted one that wouldn't get water inside all the parts and that would hold up to weather and abuse. This was perfect. It is well made with big wheels and a wide enough base that I have never had to worry about it toppling over on him. It requires no assembly, which is an added bonus. It doesn't have all the gizmos and features as a lot of other similar toys but that was actually part of the appeal to me. Overall, I am happy we went with this product.

I love this ride-on toy. I had been looking around in target, toys r us etc for a simple ride-on, but they all had really fancy expensive things. This one is great. Inexpensive, simple and very sturdy, and my 18 month old loves scooting around on it on the deck. It's only weakness is that it doesn't really steer, but she figured out pretty quickly to just get off and move it when she runs into something. It seems more or less unbreakable to me, and totally weatherproof. I definitely recommend it for entertaining active toddlers.

This is a very sturdy toy for a 1 year old who is not yet walking stably. It is made of very thick plastic and does not tip over like most plastic toys do. My daughter is able to sit in it and have her feet touch the floor and also push it as well. She actually likes to sit backwards, facing the higher end and it's still comfortable for her and she likes to push both ends and it works fine either way. We use this at a community center in our neighborhood and they only have quality toys there. I also see older kids (2-3) play with it, too. If I had a large backyard, I would totally get this! I highly recommend it.

My son's pre school has CarePlay riding toys and he loved them when he was 2-3. One day when his little sister, who was not quite one,was visiting school she fell in love with the purple puppy and wouldn't stop pushing it around. The school administrator saw how much fun she was having and let us take one home to use until I could buy one for her. We have now had the toy for a few months and she still plays with it every day. It is mad of thick strong plastic and judging from the toys at my son's school weathers well and stands up to a lot of use.

Lamaze Ride and Play Fun

I got this for my son to play with in the car but the mobile is just attached to the shade with velcro and won't stay upright. it sags and thus hangs closer to the window.

it does keep him busy but one of the suction cups doesn't stick very well, and it doesn't keep him from the heat that well.

Under the Nile Buddy The Dog Plush

The picture online looks so adorable I had to order this dog. The descriptions says "plush" so to me that means soft. The stomach on this stuffed animal is hard and I would not describe this as plush at all. I was really interested because this was my first "organic cotton" purchase but was surprised that it had a really sour smell to it I would not expect something that is organic to have any smell at all. I had to toss it around in the dryer with a dryer sheet to try to make it smell better. The dog itself is cute but would have been so much better had it been a soft and actually plush stuffed animal with NO smell of any kind.

Really cute dog but not soft at all... i returned it! All other products from under the nile have been really soft and nice, this is an exception.
