Intex Recreation Jungle Flower Baby Pool, Age 1-3

Intex Recreation Jungle Flower Baby Pool, Age 1-3I got this pool for my daughter who was 15 months at that time. We have used it for 2 months now and this is the best purchase so far for summer!!!! My daughter never wants to come out of it and even sits in it inside the house without any water :) the cushioned base is thick so she is not on any hard surface while enjoying the pool. THe fhowers provide the perfect shade and we use almost 2-3 times a week.

This pool is super cute. Our 1 year old loves it. It seems sturdy and nicely made. Our only problem is that the air in the top flowers doesn't seem to hold very well... they get soft after few hours. Not a big deal but a tiny negative.

Over all I'd have to say I'm satisfied with this pool. My daughter certainly seems to love it; however, the petals are difficult to keep inflated the valve keeps popping open, letting the air leak out. Between the two inflated and 1 semi inflated petals, though, they still seem to do a decent job providing shade. I'd recommend keeping the pool in the shade regardless though.

I absolutely love this pool, and so does my six month old daughter! There are three blow-up butterflies that Velcro to the pool, and she loves pulling them off and playing with them. Also, the bottom of the pool has a cushion part you blow up, so they aren't just sitting on the hard ground. This product is EXACTLY what I wanted, and would recommend this to anybody wanting an affordable, CUTE pool for their little one! =)

Tomy Pic 'n' Pop

Tomy Pic 'n' PopI bought it for my 15 months old daughter. She is not walking yet so she can't play with it yet. But my 19 months old nephew loves it. It is short though, my nephew bends to hold it and it looks very uncomfortable. Why would they make such a nice, well made toy so short? It looks tall in the picture but it's actually 15 inches. plus kids don't hold it straight when they push it so it's even shorter than 15 inches that way.

My 2 year old son loves pushing things around the house, so I thought this toy would be perfect. We pulled this out of the box and were in SHOCK at how little it is. I would say it would be good for a 1 year old, but there is NO way they would grasp the concept on how to work it. My son doesn't get how to pick up the balls and the levers are too stiff for him to really shoot out the balls. The thing is, he is still running around with it, but it is so short he keeps falling over because it is completely ergonomically incorrect! It is such a cool concept, what a bummer that is was so poorly designed.

I bought this toy several months ago. I liked the idea of how it works+no annoying sounds or music+development of gross motor skills. I was disappointed when my daughter who was 18mos by that time refused to play with it. She could not press the buttons on the handles-you should press hard enough, neither could she pick up the balls with it. To pick them up you have to angle the toy a bit, not just hold it straight.

However, now when she is 21mos-what a huge difference!!! She plays with it almost every day, though just for several minutes. She got the idea of how it works and mastered the needed skills!! Our lil friend who is 25 mos also loves this toy:)

So, the time has come!!

and yes I wish the handle was taller!

This is the worst toy I have yet to encounter. We bought it for our 19 month old son for Christmas. It is next to impossible to pick the balls up with the device. You have to have the unit straight up and down. My husband and I had difficulty doing this and it was just frustrating for my toddler. The shooting mechanism wasn't easy either and also only worked with the unit strictly vertical. I would not recommend this for anyone. This toy needs a major redesign. The idea is great, not the toy itself. I also want to add that I agree with other reviews, that the toy is too short. My son had to bend to push it, so it doesn't even make a good push toy.

Want Tomy Pic 'n' Pop Discount?

The little girl I got this for loves it. She likes to play with it on the days her mom is not vacuuming the house. The toy could have a better way to trap the balls. Some times she likes to trap and shoot over and over again but when its not picking up the balls shes just throwing them around. Great toy.

Your Baby (6-12M) Will Be Ready For Nine Holes on the Golf Course and Be the Snazziest Golfer Too

Future Golfer Child Costume Size X-SmallI ordered the golfer outfit for my 22 month old son. I ordered the 2T-4T size, hoping it wouldn't be too big. Well, it barely fits him, it is too small. There is absolutely no "give" to the costume and no way he could wear anything underneath, main reason why I got the bigger size. My son has just started wearing 2T in regular clothing. The tights on the bottom are so narrow his foot won't fit in it. There is no way a toddler could fit in this costume.

I had read another review that the leggings were too tight and they were right! I couldn't fit my average size 2 year old son's feet all the way into the stockings and had to fold the material over in the shoe. After 3 wearings the stockings started to tear. The shoe covers shreded on the bottom after one wearing.

I purchased this for my toddler who wears a 3-4T. The costume was

very small. His feet would in no way EVER fit into the stockings.

I had to cut the feet out and sew them to make them look right.

The shirt is entirely too small. When he raised his arms it comes

all the way up his chest. You can't have clothing that runs 2-4T

because there is such a big difference in the sizes. I was very

disapointed.

My son had Sooo many compliments on this costume. People we didnt know actually wanted to take pics on him while we were trick-or-treating. It is sized small, but I ordered a larger size due to the other reviews.

My son is a big 8 month old. He currently wears 12 month clothes. I purchased the 18-24 month outfit hoping he would grow into it come October. It was already snug on him so I had to return and there wasn't the option to exchange for another size. The outfit is absolutely adorable though, but unfortunately not going to work for my son for Halloween.

Cabbage Patch Cuties Cow

Cabbage Patch Cuties CowI was searching for a cute little doll to get my 12 month old daughter for Christmas and this is perfect! She is on the small side (only 18 lbs. and 29" as of last week) and many of the dolls I've checked in stores are either too long or too heavy for her carry around. This little Cabbage Patch fits the bill! It's very light weight and only 9" long. The little outfit is soft and in my opinion adds to the cuteness factor of the doll. I ended up buying a second doll to give to my niece who is just a few weeks older than my daughter. I only rated this product at 3 stars overall because the price listed is way too high! Even the other dolls I've seen listed at lower prices (the $15 dollar range) end up at $20+ with shipping. I found the same exact doll at Target for $8.99. I love to do my shopping online but I recommend heading out to the stores to make this purchase.

We purchased this doll for my daughter's Easter basket last year and she loves it. It is the perfect size for a toddler to carry around and cuddle. We also purchased the butterfly and the puppy for my nieces and they love theirs as well. I don't really understand the reviews that complain about the size, it is smaller than a regular Cabbage Patch doll, but that is in the description. It is only about 9" long and in my opinion that is PERFECT for little girls under 3, which is who I was shopping for. The price on Amazon is a bit overpriced though... you can get it in other retail stores for under $10. I even found a coupon online and I only paid around $5 for each one in the end.

Infantino Pound and Play Fun Drum

Infantino Pound and Play Fun DrumI bought this toy for my 7.5 month old because she likes to bang her toys together...I thought this little drum would be perfect for her and she'd enjoy hitting the balls with the hammer. There is no way a baby or toddler could hit these balls down into the drum. I had a hard time doing it myself. Returning it back to the store.

My son loves this toy. He doesn't use the hammer. He loves to shake it, take the balls in and out of the compartment, and play with the balls. Also, they get much easier to hammer once it has been used a lot.

Plush Nighty Night Key Wind Motion Pink Bear 8"

Plush Nighty Night Key Wind Motion Pink Bear 8'What a cute bear! My daughter received this as a gift last year, she goes to sleep every night listening to its lullaby. The quality of the music box in the bear is very nice, with a soothing, but not boring, arrangement of Brahms' lullaby. Too often, when I've purchased a toy with a pin-and-barrel style music box inside, it has a very boring, bare bones, beginner-piano-student version of a tune. This one actually has a few carfully placed notes that accent the tune nicely. The bear has a large wind up key, and it's very easy for little ones and arthritic adults to turn, though the key makes it difficult to cuddle. There are a couple of problems though; the play time is a bit short compared to other wind up musical toys, and if you (or your toddler) wind the key the wrong way, it will unscrew right off, and it is a royal pain to put back (all the stuffing gets in the way). Even so, it's a very nice toy that plays a very nice tune, and well worth a purchase if you don't already have something similar.

I was winding up the key that operates the music box and the key slipped loose from the music box, spun around quickly propelled by the spring and struck my thumb nail with such force that it eventually turned purple. I think that if such an event happened while a little one was playing with it, it could easily break a finger, a tooth or take out an eye. From my experience I believe that allowing a child to play with this product puts the health of that child in serious danger.

Buy Plush Nighty Night Key Wind Motion Pink Bear 8" Now

My baby was given this toy and the wind-up key broke off right away so we got a replacement but babies tend to suck on things, and she would suck on the tip of the hat. One time she sucked it down her throat since it is very thin at the tip and was choking. I contacted Gund and their reply was that they just dont make dangerous toys. They didnt listen to me at all. I threw it away.

Playskool Step Start Walk 'n Ride

Playskool Step Start Walk 'n RideI'm overall very satisfied with this product; it's a great value for the price. My son is 9 months old and plays with most of the toys on the front. The plastic was intentionally cast thin in order to force baby to use his own balance and learn to walk sooner. My son did topple the walker the first time he tried to pull himself up, but it didn't take long for him to learn how to rise steadily. Now he walks around with this walker all the time, usually with only one hand on it.

this toy has now taught two of my children how to walk! It is cute and way functionable. Even my four year old still plays with it.

Buy Playskool Step Start Walk 'n Ride Now

All these people complaining about this toy being made of plastic what do you WANT it to be made of? Steel? Geez the whole point of a walker is for a child to slowly develop their leg strength and a sense of balance. "My toddler fell over!" Uh, why do you think they're called "toddlers"?

A bit expensive, but it was a gift so I can't complain too much! That said, my son LOVES this dumb car toy. He finally had something he could cruise around the house with, but light enough that he could manhandle it around when he deadended into a wall, etc. It took him a while to get the "car" aspect of it, but once it clicked, that was all the more reason he enjoyed it. He's 2 1/2 now and still plays with this! He loves to pretend he's changing gears, putting in gas, checking under the hood. I don't think there is any toy that can please all children, but if your child is active and starting to cruise, this might be a good choice.

not the sturdiest. Let me start by saying we got this for my 11 month old son for xmas, and as soon as it was put together, he was off and walking! He loved it right away! The other reviews also mention the toy being made of flimsy plastic and it definitely is. The box states that this is for 9+ months. I would definitely not give this toy to a 9 month old unless they were really advanced for their age. I feel like I have to walk behind my son while he is moving, but I could also be a little paranoid about the face plant that is probably to come..... The gadgets that are attached to it are fun as wellthere is a spinner, a clutch, a rattle and a few others. Only thing that's missing is a horn, but I definitely wouldn't count that against it. Love that you can walk with it or ride on it. If someone asked if I would buy it againI would say yes for what I paid. I think it is listed here at $59.99 and I got in on sale at Toys R Us for $17.98. I guess you sometimes get what you pay forbut I would only get it again if I were paying my price. It is definitely awesome to see my little guy walking behind it with a huge grin on his face! Priceless!

Want Playskool Step Start Walk 'n Ride Discount?

I bought this when my 10 month old grandson was able to pull himself up. Right out of the box I was disappointed. The plastic is thin and the toy looked like it would just topple over.

I use this toy only with strict supervision, because he can pull it down. There's no exciting toys on the front to interest him. He sometimes twirls the toy on top for a few seconds, and will push it around for a few minutes. I wish I had spent a bit more, and bought one with a wider base, educational and engrossing toys, and sturdier overall.

There's nothing horribly "wrong" with this toy, but there's others out there that offer more.

WeeRide Kangaroo Child Bike Seat

WeeRide Kangaroo Child Bike SeatI wanted to get something for my ten month old so I could ride my bike while my three year old rides his. We have a trailer but I wanted to try a seat because I thought it would be easier than dragging the trailer outespecially just for riding slowly around the neighborhood with a three year old!

The front kind seemed like a good idea. The whole reason I bought a trailer in the first place was because I was afraid of my balance being thrown off with a bike seat. This front mounted seat is super for balance! I felt very comfortable with my daughter up front and she loved it! We just went for a test run around the block after installing it.

I was able to install in less than 20 mins with a 10 month old crawling around. So I'd say it was pretty easy. It's also very easy to remove the seat when you don't want it on your bike.

I was a little afraid of how my knees would hit the seat but I figured for the price I would just order it and give it a try and if it didn't work out I'd return it.

It's much better than I thought it would be. My knees don't really hit but I have to pedal in a way that I'm aware that the seats there. Not really a big deal, just something to get use to.

The seat does seem a little wobbly, not terribly so though, so not a huge deal. I may be able to adjust it to keep it from doing this. The seat was so easy to install I actually haven't read the manual yet...

Over all for the price you can't beat it. What a cool thing.

I just want to add that I recently went to our local hospital where they do helmet fittings to get a new helmet for my three year old and they wouldn't sell me one for my daughter until she's a year. The AAP doesn't recommend children ride in trailers or bike seats until a year. Trailers are also recommended over bike seats because the majority of accidents happen in bike seats. Although I would imagine that would be the back mounted type. It would be interesting to see a study about front mounted seats as they become more available.

Get this seat! Just be safe!

I have been looking for a way to take my 2 1/2 year old riding with me. The salesperson at my local bike store refused to sell me a back mounted infant seat because they are so dangerous. I don't want a trailer which are safe, but I enjoy riding the many fire trails by our house.

So this was a great fit.

PROS

1) easy to attachI also switched screws and bolt from the front/back attachment as the seatpost of my TREK needed the bolts from the front attachment.

2) comfortable ridemy daughter is very comfortable and the center of gravity is outstanding... I don't feel unsafe on the bike

3) Easy to removethere is a screw that once you unscrew it you can take the chair off and you can ride normally.

CONS-

1) The seat belt system stinks It is really bad and not very safe.

2) Going up hill is toughdefinitely be in shape for those uphills, more then 2x as tough...but it is a great workout

3) You can't use clipped pedalsbecause you have to splay your legs a little to pedal, clipped pedals are not feasable

Again, My daughter is comfortable (she's 35 inches tall) but in about 3-6 months she will be too tall for this chair... but for now we are having a blast!

Buy WeeRide Kangaroo Child Bike Seat Now

The seat is wonderful-it just was not made to be used with a petite rider I guess. I am 5' tall, and when the seat's foot rests are in their fully-extended position, they interfere with my steering mechanism-making it very dangerous for me to make turns. The seat itself is right in my gut. I can lean on it to push it forward, so it isn't too awful, but the worst part is that in order to pedal, I have to extend my legs outwards. It is a terrible strain on my knees and makes this a very uncomfotable-and sometimes overly painful experience.

I had been trying to put together a combination of a good comfort bike and a child seat for over a week and found a great success with this one.

There are some workarounds with which I got them working together. Needless to say, after putting together this, my 2yr 3 month 39" tall kid enjoyed the ride and never wanted to get back home :)

Pros:

1. Significantly better than the Bell child seat (back mounted).

2. Looks and feels much better. Satisfied.

3. My son is 39" tall and 2yr 3 months and weighs around 27lbs. I was hesitant to buy this seat given his tall height for his age. He was able to sit comfortably and still has lot of room to grow!

4. Assembly time: 20-30 min (with workarounds: Read below)

5. The seat is detachable from the child seat frame. That way, you can remove the seat if you wish to go biking on your own.

Cons:

1. The belts are sized for fitting infants when I removed the seat out-of-the-box. You may have to try multiple combinations to fit it for your child. It took me a while and was frustrating.

2. The bottom of the horizontal bar has bolts protruding out. If you rest the bar on the horizontal bar of the frame of the bike, make sure you add some padding (like a piece of soft cloth). Otherwise, the bolts could bite into the paint of the bike frame.

3. The Saddle height adjustment is not possible after adding this child seat. Make sure your bike is adjusted for your height first.

Workarounds and Howto (and comparison with Bell child seat)

I had a terrible experience with the Bell Child seat (rear mounted). I had to return this one since it just wasn't engineered to latch on to the frame near the rear wheel. Poor incompatible design. After force-fitting the Bell child seat, there was hardly 4" space between the saddle and the back of the child seat leaving only around 4" space for my kid. Absolutely a waste!

WeeRide child seat was much easier to assemble, if you can play around with the bike you have.

1. Buy a bike that you think can take such a child seat. Example, I bought a Schwinn 26" Mens Comfort bike from costco for $199 and assembled the seat on it.

2. In my bike, there wasn't enough space to bolt the front of the bar since the vertical space between the moving elements of the handle and the frame was too small. I had to let go of the front bolts. Since the rear ones and the horizontal bar center bolts were secured very tight, I felt comfortable letting go of the front ones.

3. Add a soft cloth padding between the horizontal bar of the child seat and horizontal frame of your bike.

I am really happy with this seat.

Want WeeRide Kangaroo Child Bike Seat Discount?

I was very disappointed to find that this seat does not fit on either my wife's or my bicycle. Both are fairly standard off-the-bike-store-rack models. The company's misleading advertising states it fits virtually any bike. What it should say is that you must have at least 3/4"-1" of head tube extending above the top tube so that the front mounting clamp will fit without interfering with the headset bearings (steering mechanism.) My trek mountain bike has essentially no such space. My wife's Giant city/trail bike had a little more space due to the sloping "ladies" top tube, but the clamp still did not fit. Had I known this, I would not have wasted the shipping fees, and gotten a seat that fits.

SIT-U-UP by WESCO

SIT-U-UP by WESCOThis is very expansive if you're buying it only for home use and have only one baby. It is more for daycare use. Product is of good quality, and nice to have. However, the picture is not realistic (the one with baby sitting in it). The product is way larger than what you get impression from the pict. It is useless for babies who need support for sitting because it is too large. Once baby can sit then there is no need for this piece. I've found this more useful for baby once he can play on and with it, but that is not what this is meant for. So, good quality, very expensive, very nice to have but really not necessary. Definitely useless for babies under age of 6 months (you really need something like bumbo till that time) after that age nice to have in the room or outside. Would I recommend? If you have extra money definitely yes! If you don't you don't need it.

My 15mth old child loves this seat. We don't own it but it is the first thing she goes to when we take her to daycare. She lays back and reclines herself in the middle. The teacher said later on the class figures out you can turn it in up on the rounded side and "ride" it like a rocking horse. I would buy one but it is too expensive for home.

BuckleyBoo - Bunny 17"

BuckleyBoo - Bunny 17'This was a gift for my daughter a few months before she turned 2. Initially she was not terribly interested and the buckles were too difficult for her, but a few months after her 2nd birthday she got the hang of it. Now it's become one of her favorite toys. The patterns on the ribbons have helped her learn to match, and she has gotten very adept at buckling. She still needs some help with the unbuckling (which is expected, developmentally), so this isn't quite for solo play yet. We play with Buckley together and I help with the unbuckling for now. I'm so glad I got this for her and I am always recommending it to parents of young toddlers.

Vtech Bright Lights Phone

Vtech Bright Lights PhoneMy daughter received this toy for Christmas last year. She loved playing with it. But it didn't even last a year. I had to change the batteries frequently. In fact, of all of her toys (she's 19 months old), this is the only toy that has required me to change the batteries, and I have changed them probably four times in the last 10 months. She doesn't play with this everyday, either. I will say that even though it is now dead, she still likes to use her imagination and pretend to talk on the phone. But she is disappointed she doesn't hear a quack when she pushes the duck button or a ribbit when she presses the frog button.

Bought this for a one year old for his birthday and he loved it, would not put it down!! Fun!

Vtech is strange. We got another vetch toy (cow walker) that was too loud with no option to lower the volume so we returned it. Got this and thought the battery must be old because it was so quite. Changed the battery the day I got it and still so quiet. You can hardly hear it. Understand that the kids will put it by their ears and you don't want it too loud but at least you should be able to hear it. May return it if it can't hold my sons attention.

I also like that it does not have over-commercialized characters like Disney princesses like so many others but rather just a whimsical design.

Also, I had this out of the box and put together in under 10 minutes.

Kolcraft Tiny Steps 2 in 1 Walker, Circles

Kolcraft Tiny Steps 2 in 1 Walker, CirclesI bought this for my 8 month old despite reading less than positive reviews on several websites. It works great, was easy to put together, and baby loves it. It works great on hard surfaces, but also baby has no problem navigating it on our area rugs. I haven't tried it on carpet, but from other reviews I read, no walker is that great on carpet. The front wheels pivot while the back wheels are staionary, which means baby ends up periodically stuck in a corner unable to get out. She loves the toy that is removable on the traythe noises are pretty comical too (train whistles, old car honks, etc.). I haven't been able to get her out of this thing since it arrived yesterdayshe protests loudly and wants back in. The toy is also very easy to remove which faciliated a quick feeding this morning without dragging her high chair out. Love it!

I was going to return this item and even wrote a bad review for the product. We realized that we were putting in the screws for the back wheel incorrectly (which would cause the back wheels to pop out). If you flip the screws the other way, then this will make the wheels stay in. This product is very good and this review negates my previous review.

I generally don't write reviews, however, this time has decided to write one to warn people this walker is not safe. While being inside, my son who is 9 months old, had leaned on one side and the walker flipped over. He ended up with huge bruise on his forehead and had bitten his lip to the blood... Do NOT buy this walker if you care about your child's well being...

My daughter is on the smaller side (short and average weight) and we received this walker as a gift.

First off, I was disappointed by the quality of the product. I found the frame to be wobbly and unstable. Not to mention that the frame itself is made of cheaper, less durable plastic, the seat is in poor taste. It has no actual support. The top part is made of foam, which I doubt offers any sort of back support for an older, larger child. The bottom part is simply fabric. No lining. No cushion. A child in a walker has to sit down at some point and I don't see this seat being comfortable at all.

If you're interested in this Kolcraft product for a boy, I especially recommend skipping it based on the seat alone. His 'package' will be uncomfortably squished.

Lastly, the walker is difficult to move on Berber and other carpeted floors. My daughter moves around well in the kitchen but can't take steps in our family room. She dislikes being stuck in one place and immediately starts to cry!

As for the entertainment...? Please. Don't even get me started.

I ordered this product from Amazon and received it a week later. When I got home from work, the product is already setup and my baby is already playing with the built in toys. The only thing that is left for me to put in are the wheels. I usually do all the assembly stuff as my wife does not like dealing with reading manuals and figuring things out but she put this up quickly while holding the baby in her arms. It is lightweight but feels sturdy. I like the fact that the seat is designed so that the baby can actually stand up and walk if he wanted to unlike most walkers now where the seat is designed to have the baby sit and not stand (the hole is at the bottom and not angled to the front as most walkers are designed).

The back wheels does not swivel so the baby can only go straight or move to left or right while moving forward but not go sideways. Not sure if this is a plus or a minus because my baby is only 5 1/2 months old and is so far content on just playing with the toys. The bottom have some friction strips for safety purposes that will prevent the walker from moving on some floor types. If you have a high carpet, you can easily remove the strips but I don't think that the company will encourage removing it for safety purpose.

As far as other reviews claiming that wheels just pop out, I don't see it happening if installed correctly as the back wheels pin are blocked to prevent it from sliding out and the front wheels are hard to pull out once locked into place. I can see some people may not be installing the wheels correctly and not locking the front wheels properly as I had some trouble pushing it in all the way completely till it locked into place. Also, the back wheels pin will only go one way and that is the head should be positioned on the inside facing the little plastic part that blocks the head once installed. To insert the pin, you will have to bend the plastic a little to let the pin slide in but not out. If it is not done properly, the wheels can fall off as the pin will slide out of the holes.

Disney Pooh Eeyore Tunes

Disney Pooh Eeyore TunesI bought this for a friend who loves everything Pooh/Eeyore, so when I saw this product on-line I thought it would make a cute gift for her baby shower. Now I wish I would have been able to see the actual product in person before making my purchase.

The toy is nice when it comes to the size, shape and colors (and may make a cute office cubicle/bedroom toy for an Eeyore fan), but buyer beware: If you are getting this because "A different note is played as you push each leg!" and "Baby will have lots of fun making merry music with Eeyore Tunes", you may want to know that the "note" and "merry music" that are played when you push each foot sound more like a weak/deflated/broken kids bike horn that can barely make a honking noise.

This is an extremely soft and sweet smelling item. The only little detail that I didn't love was that it only listed 4 short noted songs that you could play on his legs. However, I am satisfied with this purchase.

this is a very cute Eeyore. Squeeze the feet and they make sounds. You can make your own music/tune. This is for adults to entertain small children. It does not play on it's own. The feet have to have a little pressure to make the sound otherwise it is muffled like more air emitting than noise. It is cute and will get the attention of small children. Good distractor when tears are flowing.
