However, once you expect it to be small, you will see that it is perfect! My 2.5 yo still sits rear facing in her carseat and this is the perfect thing to hold in her lap while we drive. My child rarely plays with this in the house. In fact, we usually leave it in the car, where she will play with it for our entire 20 minute drive to town and then pick it back up for the drive home. We've had it for a year and all the pieces still look great.

Fisher-Price Press and Go Farm Truck

i bought this for my one year old granddaughter since she liked animals. she liked the animals fine but didn't show any interest in the truck. i was disappointed in it because the truck didn't go very far at all when you pressed the cow. the music didn't last long either. kind of a high price to pay for the two animals that came with it.

I bought this toy for my son's first birthday and it's just okay. The colors are bright and cheery and the little pig and sheep are the perfect size for my son to carry around the house. The one thing I was mildly disappointed in was the length of time the music played on the toy. When the cow is depressed the truck moves and music plays but it only lasts a couple of seconds. The truck is large enough and sturdy enough that he can push around the house on his knees.

I got this truck for my son for Christmas. He likes the truck and the noises it makes however he gets frustrated that the truck will barely move on carpet. It has to be used (if you want it to go on it's own) on hard floors.

Other than that the truck is great.

My son likes to put little toys in the back and push it around the house. It seems to be very durable seeing as how he has banged it and dropped it numerous times and it has held up wonderfully with a roudy 18 month old!

This fisher price toy is fair. My 8 month old son is able to press down on the cow and watch the truck move on its own and encourages him to crawl after it. But it doesn't go very far and is extremely slow on carpet. My son doesn't really care for this toy and prefers a caparable toy by the wiggles which goes much faster and further. good concept but doesnt deliver.

I purchased this toy for my twin sons, they are 12 months old now. Every time they use this toy they push it from the back and the front pops up and the cow that is driving hits them in the face or nose. We have already suffered a bloody nose. This toy is dangerous for anyone under two. There is nothing on it to keep the front from coming up when any pressure is added to the back. Item needs to be recalled. We have 100 trucks, this is the only one they can no longer play with.

I was disappointed to see how skinny these blocks were. I didn't read the description close enough on the measurements. I was just going on the pictures and they seemed thicker. I got them for my 2 year old grandson and he gets frustrated with trying to stack them because they are so skinny and fall over so easily.

I thought that my daughter is too young for this type of blocks (18 months) but she loves stacking the blocks and looking at the beautiful drawings. she gets a kick out of the girl head wen matched with a monkey and loves it when we mix and match.

I am a big fan of quality European toys and I bought these blocks for my son about a year ago. I like the colors, pictures and they are very unique and very well made. Everybody who comes to our house asks about them. They are very durable and after a year of use they still look like brand new. My son is now two years old and they are his favorite blocks first he liked to just take them out of the box and when he was a little bit older he started to stack them and point to the pictures. Now he is trying to build a "castle". My only complaint is that these blocks come in a paper box and don't have any fabric bag for an easier storage, so after every play I have to put them back into the box. And yes they are not too thick about 0.8 inch but it doesn't mean that you can't have fun and build some great things with your child. It's a great size for their small hands :-)

I just love these little fellas. I call them the Three Amigos. My daughter now owns all but one of the Skip Hop Owls. She loves chewing on them as well as talking to them. These toys are safe for small babies and have no chocking hazards. They come with three green hooks so each fella has one to hang on. I thought that was nice because I was only expecting one hook; the product description only lists one. Each toy makes it's own unique sound when moved, giving each one their own "voice". I would recommend these to anyone, but especially babies who like owls. My daughter seems fascinated by their big wide eyes, and it makes her more interested in playing with them than other toys.

MP3 Player Teddy bear

UPDATE 2/10/2013: After less than a month of use, the track forward button started to fail. Now, after about 6 weeks of use, it completely failed and the track back and play/stop buttons are also starting to fail. This has rendered the bear almost useless for music playing and is now just another stuffed animal to add to my son's collection--a very expensive one at that. Unfortunately, this is just outside of Amazon's return period. The manufacturer mentions no warranty on their website and have not responded to my email inquiry.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

I purchased this for Christmas for my 3-year-old. I was looking for a simple, but durable MP3 player/speaker combo and didn't even fathom something like this exists. I'm grateful I stumbled upon it while browsing through Amazon. It is very soft and cuddly. This is his favorite gift.

The bear is very easy to use--I imagine a child at least as young as 2 could figure it out. On the feet are soft, felt buttons for volume, track forward/back, and play/stop. There is a red LED inside the bear's chest that beats like a heart when it is on. It will turn itself off after about 10 seconds of inactivity. The MP3 player is preloaded with 5 lullabies.

It seems very safe as well. The MP3 play is embedded inside the bear, in an unopenable, non-removable plastic pod. The bear has a fairly innocuous velcro slit in the seam of its back to access the pod, where there is a short USB cable and an on/off switch (in case you want to totally disable the bear)--that's it.

My only major complaint is that no instructions come with the bear except reference to the manufacturer's website, which is fairly primitive, buggy and is not helpful at all. It just gives you the ability to purchase a custom soundtrack and upload your own MP3's to be programmed into the bear, but for $20. This is not necessary, but it took me days to figure out how to load music correctly myself. When plugging the bear into the computer's USB port, it appears as a memory drive, where you can drag and drop files. Seems simple enough. However, after much head scratching, trial and error, I figured out that each MP3 file name must begin with a number (i.e. 01, 02, 03, etc.) and the bear will play the files in that order. If the files are unnumbered, they will not play. If there are multiples of the same number, only one of the tracks with that number will play. Additionally, the files must be MP3's. Tracks pulled directly from a CD (MP4) and most from iTunes (various file types) will not work. I downloaded some freeware (Music Disc Creator) to convert MP4's to MP3 and now we're good to go.

Some of the complaints on other reviews are no longer valid. The volume has persistence, meaning it stays at the volume last used when turned on. Also, there are no replaceable batteries--it is charged through the USB port (or you can get a USB plug adaptor to plug it into a wall outlet). It lasts quite a while on a full charge--at least 20 hours of play time, I'm guessing. It still does not remember the last track played--it always starts at track 01 when turned on--but the little one figured out very quickly how to skip to the songs he wants to hear.

Overall, this is a great buy.

I purchased this CuddleTunes bear in Jan of 2012, so I've been able to see the pros and cons of its features.

Pros:

The internal storage holds a LOT of music/audio plenty for a young child to fall asleep to, and lots of room for loved ones to record stories/audio on

The ability to download audio recordings from loved ones in a far-off location is a bonus

The bear is pretty "cuddly" at least according to our daughter's preference of stuffed creatures :)

The battery life is pretty good, and it's easy to replace AA batteries (compared to those little circle batteries or more expensive C or D batteries sometimes used in little-kid products).

Cons:

The music volume defaults on the LOUDEST setting every time you turn it on. This can be an issue if you're trying to put your young one to sleep and forget that the volume will start cranked up. There is no way to change this default setting.

The music volume takes a long time to turn down as well you need to press the foot button many times (or press and hold for several seconds) before you start to hear the volume change.

There is no "lock" button for the player controls, so we don't like our child sleeping with it because she ends up either turning up the volume accidentally, or stopping the music altogether (which defeats the purpose of putting her to sleep with it). Because of this we usually turn the bear on, set the volume, and then place it outside of the crib for her to listen to. (I know I know, it's not as fun as cuddling with it.)

The upload feature is a little cumbersome because each time you want to upload some audio/music onto the bear, you need to unvelcro the back, plug the USB cord into it (and the computer) and then begin the upload process. This takes SEVERAL minutes each time. A better idea would be to incorporate a wi-fi feature into the bear that allows you to send music to it without messing with cords, velcro, and the time it takes to continue uploading new features.

No playlist feature which means if you have both music and audio books on the bear, there is no way to separate them by selecting audio or music. You have to scroll through the tracks until you find what you want. A playlist button (or something similar) would be a great feature to add as well.

Pink ribbon fell off after 4 months (not a big deal though).

Summary: For the $60 price tag, I find the features given a little lacking. I would love to see some of the suggested features listed above incorporated into this bear as technology certainly allows for it. I think they could incorporate some (if not all) of the suggested features above and still hit a $60 price tag, but a tag that many more would be willing to pay (in my opinion).

The computer shows Ive deleted the songs and added more but when I test on the bear it doesnt update. Also, the website is so bugged... it is horrible. Also, we couldnt find out how to recharge the bear. after many trials my husband figured out that you need to turn the bear off and then charge it otherwise it doesnt work. I bought this set for $9.43 and thought it was a great deal. That is, until the novelty of it wore off after the first day. My 9 month old will now only occasionally reach for this toy, and when she does, she only plays with it for 30 seconds. The small rattles come in handy to stash in the diaper bag, but they too only distract her for a short time. FYI, if anyone cares about color, the ones I received were primarily orange, not blue as pictured.

These ended up being kind of my sons first toys. He loves the twisted ball, is has rings that move along the wires and little balls that make noise on the inside. It's easy for him to get his little hands around, flexible and bright. The elephant one's head moves back and forth when you shake it, and it is also easy to grab, with the ears made of a rubber like material that is softer and easier to teeth on. The third piece is almost like a musical instrument, it looks like little cymbals. It is harder to grab, but is fun to shake around. These are incredible deals for only $10 a set. We love them!

Lifefactory Multi Sensory Silicone Teether

After trying a whole range of teething toys, from Trix Clutching toy to Sassy Water filled Teethers Developmental Toy to an older version of Munchkin Teether Babies Monkey to an older version of Manhattan Toy Color Burst Winkel in a Box, with most being something like Bright Starts Chill and Teethe, Pretty in Pink or Chilly Dilly Daisy Teether, I got fed up with the fact that none of them (except occasionally the Sassy butterflies) kept baby happy for long, probably because none of them gives a really good purchase for gnawing, the way my rubbery teething beads did when I was a kid. The harder plastics used now just aren't chewy enough. After catching the 2-year-old gnawing on a silicone hot pad multiple times, the light bulb went on and I found this teether on Amazon. The reviews saying lint sticks to it told me I'd finally found a REAL teether. (I was not keen to buy the expensive latex giraffe that's all the rage now.)

The 2-year-old loves the Lifefactory teether. It gets chomped from all sorts of angles, twisted up or left in its circle, and, living on the toddler bed most of the time, does not collect lint. It can fit in the back of the mouth for those painful back molars, a feature missing in most teethers. It fits over my wrist fine, but it doesn't stay there because the little one has strong ideas about whose property it is. The grippy silicone is great for chewing. The yellow is very cheerful. If teething is bad enough that we need to use it away from home, some links like this type Bright Starts Lots of Links will easily keep it attached to a stroller.

We haven't tried refrigerating it, but I don't expect it would keep a chill terribly well. The only downside is that our kid occasionally uses it as a bracelet, gets it stuck above the elbow, and has to have help removing it. Extra bonus is that it's made in USA!

I wanted to buy a teether that was Made in the USA and came upon this item. Beyond feeling wonderful about my baby chewing and mouthing an item that I know is safely made here in America, it is a wonderful teether. It is softer than most teething rings and my baby seems to love the different textures around the ring. This by far the best teething ring I have ever had for my children!

They are not fixing the walker, it was only used for 2 weeks and now I am out of the money and stuck with a broken product.

The car shape was very appealing. However, the quality of the clips that hook the cloth seat to the walker base is not good. They are made from a very thin plastic. The walker that I received came already with one of the clips completely snapped in half; another was halfway ripped off. As far as the performance, I was not able to see how the walker worked. Without the seat, I couldn't use it.

We just bought this for our 8 month old daghter today and while the assembly is easy there were some broken clips that hold the seat on. This could have resulted in injury if I hadn't noticed it. The car is so cool I did not want to return it , so I customized it a little bit by puching holes in the seat and using some strong twine to attach the seat. We are going to call the customer service number on Monday and complain, and maybe get a new seat, and hopfully get them to recall and replace these seats with some better quality seat clips before any babies get hurt. This car walker was made in China, and with all of the recalled toys from China lately I am also concerned about possible led in the paint, who knows. It seems like a good walker and it has many features, that make me want to keep it, and I still think it deserves at least 3 stars. I really like the wheels, and how easy they roll on our wood floors.

This Walker Jumper is adorable and easy to put together (no tools needed). My son just turned 5 months and although it says for 6 months and up it is perfect for him. It is so unique. This was a little disappointing of a purchase, my daughter did like the walker although it is a little bulky and too heavy for her to get around in as well as the bounce feature is not much of a bounce.

My daughter loves this toy and is 13 months old. Buy it elsewhere though. It is about $6 in stores and I paid $12 on this site because I never bothered to check the store first. My mistake and I won't make it again. But definetly a great toy.

I bought these beads for my 9 month-old. She loves to take them apart, drop them into a container, and chew on the the little connector nub. Looks like these will continue to be fun for months if not years.

hi i just wanted to say these toy is great my youngest son has carried one of these toys around for years but it just keeps getting shorter and shorter he named it jack you see he has slight autism and he loves these toy so i ordered it for to add on to his other one he seems to loose alot so i may have to order another soon and again thank you

Love this toy! It is a classic for a reason, it has so many uses. We played with it for stacking, learning sizes, sorting, bath time, and practicing taking things in and out. This was a strong motivator in teaching my son to crawl. We would stack the toy up a few feet in front of him and he would crawl forward and knock it over and giggle. I would strongly recommend this over other brands as it is made of safe materials.
