Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn™ Magnetic Cookie Puzzle

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn™ Magnetic Cookie PuzzleI would have purchased the magnetic cookie tray even if it didn't light up and make noise. My 1 1/2-year-old son loves to push the gingerbread man (who, by the way, doesn't come out like the other cookies--he's just a button) and play with all the cookies. It's cool that the cookies can, to some extent, stick to each other, and it's really nice that they don't fall out of their spots easily. Apparently the magnets also help the toy sense which side of a cookie is up, because it responds differently to one side than the other.

When I was considering buying the tray online, I couldn't find any pictures that helped me figure out what the back/bottom sides of the cookies looked like. They're just plain-colored, with a thick indented line following the shape of the edge. I also wondered what the sound was like. The gingerbread man's voice is high-pitched and extremely enthusiastic as his buttons light up and he cries out, "I love yummy cookies!" and "Making cookies is fun!" He announces what type of cookie each is as it's placed in the tray. There are also two cookie-related songs to the tune of "London Bridge" and "Someone's in the Kitchen with Dinah."

The description of cookies may cause confusion in some cases. Each cookie has two different descriptions, like "yellow square" for one side and "rough cookie" for the other side. As the cookies are placed in the tray, the sounds can interrupt each other--so if you put the rough cookie in right after the squishy cookie, the gingerbread man might cry out, "squishy rough cookie!" And, frankly, the squishy cookie isn't THAT squishy--it's just a little tiny bit squishy, so I'm not sure it'll get the concept across.

The main thing I would change about the tray, though, is the power switch. If I can't change the volume, I'd at least like to be able to turn the sound off once in a while. But the switch is really easy for my son to flip, and the "off" setting is between the "music" setting and the "learning" setting. Therefore, the chances of the toy ever staying off for long are minimal. In fact, the switch of one of the trays we ordered on eBay got bumped in transit, so that high-pitched voice was singing songs as I opened the box!

All that said, my son and I really think the tray is fun, and I think this is the kind of memorable toy our family will still be talking about for years to come. I'm very glad we got it; I love the colors and shapes; it's a very endearing product.

Additional note, 11/26/06: Recently, the cookie tray has been spontaneously making sounds on its own if we leave it on. Maybe this is a warning system, like when a smoke detector beeps because its batteries are dying? This issue still wouldn't keep me from buying the tray, but it's a good idea to turn the toy off if you don't want to know when the gingerbread man is craving attention.

Additional note, 12/11/06: Another new development is that lately the gingerbread man has been occasionally ignoring a cookie when it's placed in the tray. Then, when a second cookie is returned to the tray, the gingerbread man calls out information for the previous cookie. So if my son puts in the bumpy cookie and then the smooth cookie, we'll hear "bumpy cookie" for the smooth cookie. I will definitely try new batteries when I get a chance, but the sound isn't warped & slow or anything.

Additional note, 1/31/07: With new batteries, the gingerbread man is still "possessed." No big deal--we'll just try to keep the tray turned off when not in use.

My daughter received this puzzle as a gift when she was 10 months old. She loves to sit with Mom or Dad and put the pieces in. She dances to the music and is now, at 12 months, learning to pick the piece by color. Another great educational toy from Fisher Price.

My daughter has been playing with this puzzle for a long time we got it before she was even 1 year old. It's great because the shapes are simple, so they're easy to fit into their correct places. Plus, the magnet feature helps your child get the cookie into the hole once they have it close, the magnets pull the cookie into place. And then, of course, music plays and lights go off ... great positive reinforcement! The cookies sit into place on either side and the toy still recognizes them. The gingerbread man (only a button) sings and lights up when pushed. There are also 2 settings for this toy a musical setting and a learning setting. That's great because this toy really grows with your child! This toy is another fantastic product from Fisher Price!

Brainy Baby Animals Flashcards

Brainy Baby Animals FlashcardsI am really happy with these flash cards. They are what I was looking for. They are nice and sturdy and my daughter loves them. I didn't realize how hard it was going to be to find flashcards with real animal pictures. Most have cartoons. They also have good facts on the back for her l to learn as she gets older.

What I like about these flashcards is the parental/teacher instructions that come with them. They help you think outside the box when asking your child to make identifications. So, rather than just asking your child to identify what the animal is, you can ask, What color is the animal? or you can lay 3 cards down and ask them to identify, Which animal has fur? or Which animal lives in the water? or What animal lives in nests? or what sound does a peacock make? (which, by the way, is a high and long pitched squeal.) These fashcards have pictures of actual animals rather than drawings which I also prefer. It makes learning more accurate.

Hape Pound & Tap Bench / Educo Early Melodies Pound and Tap Bench

Hape Pound & Tap Bench / Educo Early Melodies Pound and Tap BenchMy granddaughter loves this toy. When she first got it, she loved just playing with the balls, now she is older she enjoys all the elements; from pounding the balls with the hammer, to playing music. This toy has grown with her and will always be a staple for me when I buy gifts for children.

Educational? Maybe for an infant to learn cause & effect, but don't expect to be able play any eight-note tunes on the glockenspiel part of the toy. They advertise two toys in one, but if your ears are offended at all by off tune scales, there goes the second toy, because it's unbearable! I got this toy about six months in advance of our 2nd boy's 1st birthday & couldn't wait for him to open it. I can't describe the disappointment I felt. The orange rung & the two purple rungs at the end are totally out of sinc with the others as far as a scale. It wouldn't have been so bad had the xylophone in the Melissa & Doug's instruments in a box been just as out of tune!

I just don't understand why they'd bother making an eight note glockenspiel if it's not going to be in tune! The toy seems to be made fairly well otherwise, all the more reason it makes no sense why the glockenspiel wouldn't be in tune. I wish I could send the thing back to the manufacturer & demand I get one that's in tune. They advertise that you can plunk out a tune--only if you have a song that requires only about 5 notes & can figure out which rungs are in the scale, or if you want the tune to be totally unrecognizable!

We are only keeping it because our son likes to pound the balls through, but I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Buy Hape Pound & Tap Bench / Educo Early Melodies Pound and Tap Bench Now

We bought this toy for my daughter's 1st birthday. She loved it from the moment she unwrapped it. The construction is super sturdy and it seems like it will last a long time. I read the reviews before purchasing this toy that complained about the xylophone being out of tune and thought that they were being a little bit picky. It is a children's toy after all, not a real musical instrument. After playing with the toy for a bit I get where they're coming from. It's not so much that it's out of tune as there is no tune at all. Some of the keys just make a dull metal plunking sound when you strike them. I would have given this toy all the stars if it wasn't for this small defect.

I only gave it 4 stars because it was much smaller than expected, but other than that the toy is good quality and very cute. My daughter loves playing with the xylophone and hammering down the little balls. Would recommend if looking for a small but fun instrumental/pounding toy.

Want Hape Pound & Tap Bench / Educo Early Melodies Pound and Tap Bench Discount?

I just don't understand how someone could make a "musical" toy that is so unmusical. Horrifically out of tune and painful to listen to, with no way to adjust it. It's like a first-reader book with words spelled wrong or letters written backwards. And my daughter doesn't respond much to the other aspects of the toy. So overall, a dud.

Schylling Ambi One Man Band

Schylling Ambi One Man BandI got this for a friend's child and she loves it! It's fun for babies to play with and, like the description says, bright colors are recommended for young children since it helps them fix their eyes on something. It's very cute and has a good variety of sounds so kids don't get bored.

Fisher-Price Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo

Fisher-Price Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds ZooAs my son is a huge animal fan, I found myself not able to decide whether to buy him the Fisher Price Little People A to Z Learning Zoo Playset or the Fisher-Price Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo. Ultimately, he ended up getting the first from us, and the latter from his grandparents, but I thought I would mention some of the pros and cons of each.

Animal Realism: This definitely goes to the Zoo Talkers. While they both look cute, the Learning Zoo animals look far more "cartoony" than those for the Zoo Talkers.

Sound Quality: In my opinion, this is close. I think the Zoo Talkers has slightly richer, better sound, but they are both decent for a child's toy.

Box Accuracy: Tie. The box for the Learning Zoo shows a nice, translucent blue for the waterfall yet actually came as a far cheaper looking solid light blue; the box for the Zoo Talkers shows a zookeeper, polar bear, lion, and monkey yet comes with a gorilla instead of a monkey (which is mentioned on the back of the box, but this is very easily overlooked when purchasing online). They also curiously sell the gorilla separately (hence how we ended up with 2), yet don't even currently offer a monkey.

Expandability: Zoo Talkers wins here, but only because the Learning Zoo already comes with a full compliment of 26 animals. The Zoo Talkers currently allows you to expand the set with the Safari Truck and lion cub, penguin, seal, alligator, bear, dolphin, tiger, rhino, ostrich, elephant, gorilla, orangutan, flamingo, hippo, as well as zebra/leopard/whale bundled each with a book. Naturally this also adds to the cost of the product though.

Price: The Zoo Talkers wins in initial cost, but I doubt many children would be content with only the 4 figures that come with it. Once you factor in the cost of additional animals, the Learning Zoo becomes pretty competitive.

Educational Value: Definitely the Learning Zoo. The Zoo Talkers only does (at this time at least) the name and sound of a few animals, while the Learning Zoo does the name of the animal, the sound, and the first letter of the name for all 26 animals included (one for each letter of the alphabet). In addition, the Learning Zoo also has a button that quizzes on the various animals and sounds.

Quality: Zoo Talkers wins here. Once assembled, it is nice and sturdy with an "ice arch" that doubles as a handle to easily transport the play set. The Learning Zoo has the speaker/main play section attach to the mat, but the other parts are merely attached by clipping them by means of the fence only. This fence is easily disconnected and younger children will require an adult to reattach the parts for them, and any attempt by a child to move the play set will necessitate the reattachment. I wish the Learning Zoo was also more of a "one-piece" construction.

Quality Control: In our case the Learning Zoo wins here. All functions of the Learning Zoo worked upon arrival, whereas one animal for the Zoo Talkers arrived visibly defective and consequently didn't work.

Function: Tie. With the Learning Zoo, if the mat is not completely flat (as is to be expected to happen if used on carpet) an incorrect sound/name may be given when pushing a button. I have found this happens fairly often forcing me to carefully try and spread the mat out. In time the crease from shipping should decrease which may help with this. With the Zoo Talkers the animal has to be pushed down fairly straight in order to get the sound to work which may be difficult for younger hands. I've also had the base give an incorrect response several times (will make the wrong sound or give the wrong name) which I would assume happens if the animal isn't pushed on quite right (I've even had it make the lion cub sound/name and we don't even own that). ***Edit 11/29/11 Now that my son has had this for a few weeks my initial impression of the Learning Zoo was correct in that the mat has indeed flattened so that it now rarely gives an incorrect response when one of the buttons is pushed. My son (he just turned 2) still gets a surprisingly number of incorrect responses when using the Zoo Talkers when he doesn't push the animal down correctly. It is hard to subtract a star for this as I cannot duplicate the errors so it is something that no doubt will not continue once he gets coordinated enough to put the animals on a little better. It is disappointing though as this set is meant for his age range and I find it hard to believe that other toddlers don't suffer the same issues (and shouldn't something have been done about this during quality control testing prior to manufacturing?) Consequently, I now think that the Learning Zoo pulls ahead in this category.***

Fun Factor: For my son this is definitely the Zoo Talkers at the moment. He loves pushing the various animals down the slide, tipping the one platform causing various animals to land on the slide, putting the animals on the platform to hear the sounds, etc. The Zoo Talkers has a good mix of activities to entertain, whereas the Learning Zoo obviously focuses more on the educational aspect which I decided to rate separately.

Overall they are both great products in their own way and I don't regret that my son has both of them as they excel in different ways. I do find the choice of "sounds" that Fisher Price made for some of the animals rather curious though (only the alligator is currently available for the Zoo Talkers so the rest only applies to the Learning Zoo). I can understand using the sound of splashing water for the x-ray fish, but I (incorrectly) assumed that the animal sounds would all be vocalized sounds rather than clopping hooves (for the zebra), and chomping/eating (for the alligator, camel, koala, and giraffe). I am also disappointed that the lion and the tiger sound the same in the Learning Zoo, although they are different for the Zoo Talkers.

I have two little girls, a 7 1/2yr old and a 1 1/2yr old. My older daughter was the first grandchild on both sides and received many gifts as a baby/toddler. I think we owned every Little People toy out at the time. One of her favorites was the Fisher Price A to Z learning zoo, she loved all the different animals and it really helped her learn her letters as well. I was really disappointed when I saw it was discontinued and that this replacement only came with a few animals instead of the 26 that came with the other.

My disappointment ended though when I opened this up. It's extremely cute and filled with fun options (slide, swing, etc), it's a really nice size (my toddler likes to pick up smaller toys and drop/throw them this is big enough that she doesn't try) it also has a built in handle which I like to quickly move it when vacuuming etc.

My only issue with it is that it only comes with a few animals and while you can buy more animals if you check they are currently selling for 1/4 of the price of this set EACH. I hope that the price comes down on the extra animals or they are offered more affordably as a set together. The good news is your little one likely won't know or car either way if they don't have all the extra animals, as I type this my toddler is giving megablocks rides down the slide .

Buy Fisher-Price Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo Now

My grandson loves his Fisher-Price Little People A to Z Learning Zoo Playset. That set comes with 26 animals and, in addition to "saying" the animal's name and making its sound, that toy gives the letter with which a particular animal's name begins. Naturally, when I saw this Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo, I immediately thought of his coming birthday and how much he would enjoy this toy.

Like other Fisher-Price products, the Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo is colorful and well-made. The plastic seams are smooth and pose little chance that a child will be scratched or cut themselves while playing. The animals are cute depictions of the real thing. The jungle environment/scene provides numerous opportunities for imaginative play; I particularly liked this feature. On the downside, the fact that the animals only make sounds adds little to the educational value of this product. Additionally, since little ones are likely to become enamoured of the one animal sound you find most annoying, you may live to regret your purchase!

I found the cost to purchase the add-ons which would "complete" this toy offputting. If one goes to the Fisher-Price website, the 8 figures and the three figure/book combinations offered total $43.99, including shipping. Tax is also charged. The Safari Truck, which Amazon offers, is more expensive at the Fisher-Price site since they charge shipping and tax.

This may appeal to the lower end of and to less mature children at the upper end of the recommended age range. However, I felt it had less educational value than the Learning Zoo and was less appealing overall. Further, the additional monies to "complete" the set and not something I feel is welcomed by parents and grandparents. It is for these reasons that I gave this product only four stars.

If you buy this toy, just be aware that there will be no monkey at the zoo. The picture on the box shows a monkey swinging from a tree but it will not be inside your box. This was unfortunate for me because I wanted it as a Christmas present for my monkey-loving 18 month old granddaughter. Good thing I read other reviews and found out about this little snafu before Christmas morning!

Fisher Price substituted a gorilla in its place. I wrote to the company and their response was that Yes, there is no monkey.

The company sells single, 'additional' animals to add to your zoo, since it only comes with three. Among these extra animals you can purchase is a gorilla. Why are they selling gorillas separately when one already comes with the zoo?

It is all very confusing and I have an ethical issue with the company's willingness to deceive buyers. I am busy looking for another play zoo that really does come with a monkey.

This set is first off much bigger than I expected from the box, but then not too big its obnoxious. It is about two feet by two feet and has a nice carrying handle to take it room to room or easily turn it around to play with it on the flip side. Once I opened the box I was worried it was going to be a project to put together but it pretty much all snaps together except for three screws. I had it together in about ten minutes, and I did have to install three batteries, which were not included.

The Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo is for ages 1 ½ to 5 years old, and my 3 and 4-year-old sons love it. There is so much to do, both front and back that my boys didn't feel crowded with both of them playing. The set makes so many different noises, not including the music or speech about the animals. There are squeaks, twist noises, clicks and more. My boys are just so excited each time they play with it to make as much noise as they can! There is a slide, swing, twisting leaf, peek-a-boo door and little spots to put the animals.

The only thing I was disappointed with was that the set only comes with three animals and a zookeeper. It is enough for two-three kids to play with but I would like to have more animals. Luckily, there is a total of nine other animals you can purchase to play with in the set that I am sure I will be adding to ours.

Overall, the playset is very colorful, bright and is a great size. I was impressed with all the sounds and interactions you can make and my boys love it. They played with it for a good hour right when we set it up and then played with it again a few more times throughout the day and since then. They even found other random animals and figurines to play with and even put their cars on the waterslide! As far as educational aspects go, I like that my boys can see how the different animals live (North and South Poles, Jungle, and Water regions. I would recommend this playset for any child and it will definitely grow with your child as it is fun for all ages!

Lamaze Octivity Time, Blue

Lamaze Octivity TimeI got this toy for my 2 month old because he would get cranky in the car at times and thought this would be the perfect way to intertain him for a long time. It is one of the best toys for the car seat I think because it sits great on his lap. I tryed hanging toys from the car seat handle but all the toys I tryed either were too short so they were really far up and didn't catch his attention or really long and hung in his face literally. At first when we gave our son this toy he didn't pay any attention to it at all for the first day or two. But then one day we were driving and hear him giggling and talking away so we look back and he is staring straight at this toy..SO CUTE!!! Now everytime we get in the car he just has so much fun staring at this toy. I am SO GLAD I got this toy to intertain my little one in the car.

When my son was 7 months old, he really liked to play with this toy. It was great for him to learn to grab and hold on to things and to explore different textures. At 17 months, he'll still play with it sometimes but not like when he was younger. It is big enough that it can sit on their belly (in a bouncy chair) or on their lap/floor in front of them and be easy for them to grasp at it and manipulate it but not so big it engulfs them. A good toy especially for the second half of the first year!

Ambi Duck Family - Childs Bathtime Toy

Ambi Duck Family - Childs Bathtime ToyLikes

Like how colorful it is. But that's about it.

Cons

Baby ducks don't float well, always end up upside down

My two year old sometimes have difficulty fitting ducklings in the back of the mother

She is unable to open the back all by herself. Even I have some trouble with it

Mother sinks to the bottom of the tub once water gets in the opening which it always does of course. It's a tub full of water.

The point of ducks is to float. These do not float, they sink. Very dissapointing

Wonderful. I've given this item as a baby gift many times and they always loved it. Unexpected and great bath fun for years.

Plush Sable Ferret 8"

Plush Sable Ferret 8'Very happy with purchase. Exactly as described. Bought stuffed animal as a gift for young cousin, but will certainly look for again in future for other gifts! Product arrived so quickly that it must have been shipped out the same day I ordered it. Thank you so much!

It is the only toy I had found that has been similar to my ferret. It is very soft and squeezable. You'll like it.

I bought this ferret plush for my 8 year old daughter. It is probably the only animal she didn't have yet. I looked at many stuffed weasels and ferrets but they all looked kind of wierd to me. Not this one. It is soft and the perfect size but most importantly it actually looks cute like a real ferret.Sable Ferret 8" Plush Stuffed Animal Toy

Just got this puppy.... er, ferret in the mail today and I am pleased enough. The 14" ferret I also purchased on Amazon wasn't quite proportioned well enough to be life-size but this guy fits into that category a bit better. The picture, however, does it no justice! Sure, the more circular choice of material for the eyes make it a little less ferret-looking, but they aren't nearly as large and beady as they appear, nor is the face so smushed-looking like the picture. Only con I found is that the tail (on the one I received, at least) is very wiry, as in it curls itself a little and doesn't lay still, but that's not that big of an issue, of course. As for realism, this guy also doesn't have whiskers, but that, too, is just a small thing. This animal is overall a good, soft and cute choice if ya dun wanna shell out the big bucks for those adjustable/higher-detail ferrets. :)

Want Plush Sable Ferret 8" Discount?

Unlike this Aurora toy -which is the most realistic ferret plush I've owned to date -most ferret stuffed animals are variants on a "blob" shape. If there is an attempt at detail, the tail is still created wide and flat (like a beaver), the coloring is off, the face is unflattering, the body is floppy, etc. Not this one!

Aurora has created a plush ferret on a tight budget. She is beautiful. She is close to perfect. Look how she stands so alertly! She can be cuddled by an adult, toddler, or chewed on by a pet ferret.

This is a safety-conscious company that does not use hard plastics in the construction of its plush. This means that the ferret featured here by Aurora has an embroidered nose and eyes to compliment her soft fur.

I've purchased three of these: One for my ferret collectables shelf, one for a toddler, and one for a pre-teen. I've seen a few as toys for pet ferrets, and they hold up well in this role. I have yet to meet a person displeased with this item in my group of family, friends, and acquaintances. Frankly, this Aurora sable went viral for a time in my circle.

Jellycat Bashful Bunny Pink Soother 18" Blankie

Jellycat Bashful Bunny Pink Soother 18' BlankieI received this as a baby shower gift, and my now 4 month old loves it.

I like Jellycat in general their toys are lovely and such high quality. But Jellycat retires their animals on a regular basis like beanie babies. Old popular toys end up on online auction sites for hundreds of dollars. My best friend learned this the hard way. Her daughter fell in love with Crochetta Mousewhich is now discontinued and impossible to find (if you see one around, let me know). So she has a worn out doll that her 2 year old is fiercely attached to, and she is terrified of the doll being lost or damaged beyond repair.

This is a soothie it's specifically a comforting toy that a child can get attached to. So I came here and bought a second (and considering a third). Seeing how much my daughter loves hers already, and knowing that Jellycat discontinues, I had decided that if I couldn't find a second one, I'd take it away from her altogether and find something else to get attached to.

Anyway, glad I didn't have to find something else. This is great. It's SO soft and sweet. And the color of pink is perfect. So is the size. She curls up with it in her arms and It's not so big like a blanket that I worry about it.

I couldn't do without this! I received this as a gift from a friend and my baby girl just LOVES it! She chews on it, sucks on it, cuddles it. When it's nap time I get her settled and give this to her, she grabs it pulls it to her cheek and within 5mins she's asleep! It's so absolutely soft, I've never felt anything this soft! And the floppy bunny is just adorable! I'll definitely be grabbing a second to keep on hand should anything happen to the one we have!

Fisher Price - Busy Pals Winnie The Pooh

Fisher Price - Busy Pals Winnie The PoohMy daughter loves it. I just wish it had a bit more variety in songs. It says the same things over and over. Each item has two things it says. For example, the bird. The first time you hit the bird he says something nice about the bird, the next time he sings a song about it. Same with Bee and butterly. The bee is too hard for little fingers to use. I think it is pretty boring but my kid likes it.

I got this for my 7 months old daugther for Christmas and she loves it. It says different things and songs. My daugther's favorite is to catch the butterfly. She also loves that it sings. Highly recommended.

Planet Toys Planet Earth Large Plush Animals with unseen footage DVD Assortment - Giant Panda

Planet Toys Planet Earth Large Plush Animals with unseen footage DVD Assortment - Giant PandaWe get our children a stuffed animal from TRU each year for Christmas. Last year we waited until the last minute, and the selection of "nicer" stuffed animals was horrible. Wandering around the store, we found these. Son (6 yr) got a panda and daughter (8 yr) got a polar bear. They both LOVE them! They have watched the BBC documentary that came with the toys several times, and proceeded to repeat many facts to me about each bear. My son sleeps w/ his panda every night w/out fail, therefore it has been machine washed several times in the last 6 months and has held up just fine.

This toy is rated by the manufacturer for 2 and up. It contains a medium sized stuffed panda and a 22 minute DVD documentary. My 3 1/2 year old selected this item as a treat. We were both disappointed. The stuffed panda is of moderate quality and is certainly not worth even $15. The documentary on the DVD was not appropriate for this age group. It is an old BBC documentary on pandas that has that typical monotone narrator voice. That would have been fine except topics covered include mating, inbreeding, poachers, and how when twins are born one typically dies because the mother will not nurse them. It was a very boring video for my daughter but even she started asking questions that I would have preferred not to answer at 3 1/2. I would highly recommend selecting a higher quality stuffed panda with the money and skipping the DVD.

This toy is for educational purposes. I would let the children watch only segments of the video and not in its entirity. The stuffed animal is a good reading buddy because it is washable. It is worth what I paid for it becasue of its educational purpose.

Tonka Chuck & Friends - Chuck the Dump Truck

Tonka Chuck & Friends - Chuck the Dump TruckI bought this for one of my sons first birthday gifts cause he Loves the soft trucks that make noise like this one describes in its description of it. Okay first off this truck is not 5 inches, it's 3 1/2 4 inches. It doesn't light up or make any sounds. This product if WAY over priced for what it really is. They have this same truck on amazon for half the price from different sellers!

DO NOT BUY!!!!!

It was smaller than I thought it would be. It is cute and my Grandson liked it just a bit small.

Chewy Tube Red

Chewy Tube RedMy son is on the autism spectrum, has sensory issues and had tics--one is a biting tic. The Chewy Tubes are safe and easy to clean. They really help. He seems to prefer the green one, but this one is still a winner.

Great tool for my daughter's oral exercises. Recommended by her therapist. Sturdy, easy to hold and just the right size for my daughter to bite down on with her molars

This product is great for what it is suppose to be for. It didn't work well for my daughter, though. It's a bit too hard for her delicate gums.

I'm glad Amazon is carrying this product, we used to buy from a specialty place at higher price. My daughter grinds her teeth, and she will chew on this in place of the grinding we have to remind her a lot. Lasts pretty long, but replace when it begins to break will break as a bite hole or split, but pieces do not fall off or anything like that. She also likes the green one with bumps. We only use the "T" shape.

These are good for kids who like to chew things, but if they are and intense chewer they will probably end up chewing right through it.

Colorado Trading Crib Clouds Micro Chenille Baby Blanket

Colorado Trading Crib Clouds Micro Chenille Baby BlanketOf all the blankets we have AND were given as gifts, my son took to this one. It's this or tears. I've spent the past two years looking for another. At first, I wanted a back-up. Now that he's 2 1/2, and I finally found one, I might try to attach a new one to the old so it's big enough for him.

Infantino Itty Bitty Jittery Pals

Infantino Itty Bitty Jittery PalsAmelia especially likes the zebra. They are small enough to wrap her little hands around and are very cute. They attach quite nicely to her shopping cart cover. She isn't quite old enough to figure out the jittery part yet, they are, however a hit!

Woody Classic Infant

Quality Infant Woody Costume - Babymy baby looked so cute in this as his first Halloween costume with his big bro as Buzz Light Year. it almost didn't fit as it seems too small for its 12 month size with my baby only 5 months and even average in size. ADVICE:just get at least 1 whole year size bigger of your kid's size.

I ordered this outfit for my son who was 14 months on Halloween so I ordered him the size 12-18 months. He's on the smaller side being on 25% in height and weight. The pants were so short on him they looked like capris. The hat that they have shown in the pic is NOT the hat that you will get. I specifically got online and ordered it because I didn't like the look of the soft cloth had. Yeah, well that's what they shipped me even though the picture shows the hard hat.

Also, the shoe covers are BOOTIES. They fit over the shoe rather than having the straps on the bottom of shoe. I got them pulled up on his shoes enough to cover them but imagine how it looked with the capri looking pants and the shoe covers that didn't barely cover the top of the shoe. Also, he couldn't walk on our tile or our hardwood floor because there was cloth on the bottom of the shoe! I made it work by putting a pair of dark blue pants on underneath his outfit so that they would at least come down to the boot but if I had, had enough time to replace the outfit then I would have. It took them a week to even ship the order out to me. I ordered this one and my older sons outfit on the same day. I had my older sons within 3 days and it took 2 weeks to get this one in. Overall bad experience and WILL NOT be ordering from this "person" again.

It was a hit. Well made materials took a beating from my 1 year old nephew's 1st Halloween and kept on treat or treating.

The World of Eric Carle: Very Hungry Caterpillar Hand Puppet by Kids PreferredGot this for my son's first birthday party which had a hungry caterpillar theme. Used it as decor but as something I could keep and use later. Its a cute puppet also. Good quality.

Nice, good material, colourful, looks like Eric Carle's caterpillar. My hand fits in it and I can wiggle the feet around. My son (3) likes it a lot.

This is a really cute puppet. I bought it for children's church. The size was smaller than I needed, so we used it as decoration. It would be perfect for a child's puppet show.

I got this as a Father's Day gift for my husband. He took it to work and has it proudly displayed on his desk. Can't really comment on the educational value, durability or the "fun" factor...as it really wasn't purchased as a toy. However, overall it was a really cute gift and made a new dad happy:)

Dandelion Organic Developmental Sorter

Dandelion Organic Developmental SorterI purchased this as an alternative to the mainstream shape-sorters, which are typically made of "mystery" (and possibly toxic) plastic. I figured that since this shape sorter is made of organic fabric, I wouldn't have to worry if my then-8-month-old (now 13 month-old) daughter ended up putting it in her mouth, where pretty much everything goes these days. In addition, it's machine-washable, which is always a plus with any baby toy. However, the problem is that this toy is supposed to be first-and-foremost, a shape-sorter, but it fails miserably at this task. The shape-sorter cube is extremely soft, so it collapses under the least amount of pressure, such as when you're trying to put the pieces in. And on top of that, the shape-pieces are so soft that they can pretty much fit into any shaped hole with just a little squeeze. So this item is totally useless for teaching my little-one to recognize and match shapes. I suppose it's just as well, since my baby is completely uninterested in this toy. At most, she'll chew on or squeeze the pieces, or shake the one that rattles to hear the sound it makes. But this will keep her mildly engaged for only a minute, tops, before she tosses it aside and moves onto a more fun toy.

The only reasons I'm not giving this item a 1-star rating are that it's made of organic materials and it's easily washable. However, if you're looking for a REAL shape-sorter that's safe for your little-one, try the HABA Spielstabil Shape Sorter or Melissa & Doug Shape Sorting Cube, both of which are BPA-free, PVC-free and phthalate-free.

Grade: C

Finally a washable soft sorter toy! My son enjoys the crinkle, rattle and squeak noises the shapes make. I love that he can can't hurt himself on this toy and it is machine washable and holds its shape & color well after laundering. The colors are subtle but the baby loves the different textures of the cloth. The only drawback is that when baby actually begins to sort rather than just play with the shapes, the shapes can be easily shoved into the 'wrong' shaped hole, but at that point you can move to a hard sided sorter cube.
