I bought for the daughters crib. She is 6 months. You have to press it right on the face of the animal in order for the sound to come on.

I bought this for my 2 month old son and he absolutely loves it! I was a little hesitant to buy this product as some reviews said it was hard to push, but my son has no problems with it! You do have to push on the animal face to make sounds, but my son kicks it enough he finds the right spot. Overall, I thought it was a great purchase for the price!

I bought this cute little crib piano for my three month old daughter, she absolutely loved it, especially the animal setting. The colours are beautiful and she likes looking at the lights when the notes are pressed. The other modes are nice as well...I like that the product gives other musical options to entertain a baby. At first she was kicking the keys too high up and the notes were not playing, but I extended the straps and raised the piano higher and it worked pretty ok.

My three month old absolutely loves this, there's two volume setting which is awesome for me. The only thing is sometimes she kicks too high and the buttons are at the bottom so the music wont play. Other than that so far so good

Infantino Activity Triangle

We recieved this as a part of a gift box my mom bought at costco's. I didn't think much of it when I saw it but it was bright and colorful.

Also in the package was a blue hippo that had blocks inside it and a plunger to push them out. Frankly speaking my 6 month old (at the time, now 7months) didn't know what to do with it, and it didn't capture his attention.

However wow! This gadget Triangle! My Goodness!! There is so much to look at and do, he is captivated by it. :)

He'll play with one side of the triangle for so long that he forget it has activities on the other sides. So every 10 minutes or so, I'll flip it and he will gurgle with renewed enthusiasm and start playing with the 'new' side!

When my son gets sleepy and lies back on his nursing pillow, often I'll hold it up and turn it back and forth so he can watch the 2 gears race up and down. One of them moves in a zig zag pattern and the other spins, its even fun for me to watch. As a side note, its great exercise for your wrist. It also makes a pleasant sound, when the tiny balls rattle, sounds like your shaking a box of salt, not too loud, perfect for a drowsy baby.

I also like that:

1. It has so many toys on it but is just one piece, so no lost parts or cleanup.

2. No batteries needed.

3. Its not a loud toy, just loud enough.

I highly highly recommend this toy, its really a bargain!

At 9 months, my child is still crazy about The Triangle. I believe the whole Infantino gift box with both toys was $. And no batteries needed. :)

What a bargain!

We were looking for a new toy for our then six month-old daughter, when a kind stranger recommended the Triangle as one her child had found entertaining. We looked closer at it and realized just how much was going on in this toy each side has multiple different actions, shapes, colors and activities, and there are spinners, rattles and mirrors too. In essence, you gain five sides of activity, and can extend the entertainment value of the toy by periodically rotating it for younger kids so that it always presents something new. As they become stronger, they begin to discover that it can be picked up and shook for added interaction, and will also begin rotating to different sides themselves.

While it is just slightly on the large size for easy portability, when we did have room, we were sure to pack it for trips as this one toy provides far more entertainment than carrying multiple others. Plus, it is well made and very durable. Now at 16 months, our daughter still carries this around as one of her favorite toys. We love it and she does too! We'll certainly be hanging on to this one for the next baby! A tremendous value!

I got this for my four and a half month old thinking she would like it in a few months, but she picked it up right away. This toy got her to sit upright for more than a few seconds. She can play with this toy for twenty minutes, turning it over and playing with each side. It is by far her favorite toy and she moves around to get closer to it. She can also sit and play with it in her high chair, which is great for when we go out or have company over.

We love this toy. I can't face all the flashing lights and music that is on every toy at the toy stores now, so I looked online for something to entertain our budding explorer. Our seven month old absolutely LOVES this toy. He can stay fascinated with it for extremely long periods of time, and I love that it is all about him driving the action, not the toy itself. We also bought the Curiousity Cube at the same time, which I like, but not as well. Definitely would recommend.

I love this toy and highly recommend it. My sister gave one to my boys when they were 3-1/2 months, and they obviously weren't interested. At about six months, we showed it to them again. It instantly became a favorite. The boys are almost a year old now, and it is still one of their most played with toys. In fact, I have to be careful that they don't fight over it.

There are five sides to the toy. One side has beads that can be moved along wiggly posts. Aother side has large balls and other-shaped objects that slide along straight posts. The third side has a mirror that flips around. The next side has two gears that are moveable, and the final side has two textured flat pieces that spin. There are tiny balls throughout the edges, so it makes noise when you shake it, but it's not a loud toy. My boys love it. They play with one side and then flip it and play with the other, over and over. This toy holds their interest longer than any toy we have so far. I wish I could find something similar that is just as good, but I haven't so far.

B. Okideoke Microphone - Navy

Wanted this to work and it does!!! fyi, target $13 ! To get the amplify real loud twist the bottom of the microphone bottom, it's volume. All the mics are set to low in the packaging. :) have fun!

Initially, I wanted this microphone because the colors work so well for a boy (I was a little nervous about not getting to choose, but have ordered two and received a blue one, both times). I wasn't too worried about the functions, only that it looks like a microphone. I knew that my two year old would run around the house with it, using his imagination, and would also be able to sing along with his favorite music shows. The button does need to be held down while recording, and the amplification is not the loudest (which is just fine with me). I pushed the buttons for him at first, then he figured it out and has so much fun! He encourages us to sing into it, too. The first one was misplaced it went everywhere so I had to rush order another. The strap is a handy feature. He can put it around his wrist, it can be hung up when not in use, or clipped to a purse or diaper bag. Even the packaging is adorable. We could not be happier with this microphone!

I was looking for a microphone that amplifies my son's voice so he can sing with or without the music. Well, the mic amplifies very little, but the worst part is that to amplify one has to hold a "star" button the whole time while singing... I find this rather inconvenient! Why isn't it simply built in to the microphone, beats me...There are only 8 tunes that are short and go in circle when you hit another button on the microphone. So far my son loves that functionality and pushes the button non-stop, but it becomes rather annoying and I am sure he'll get bored with it soon.

Also, to record singing, one has to hold the record button the whole time of recording...I don't like that. I wish one had to press this button until it beeps and then press it one more time to stop.. Most other toys operate this way.

I was looking for a microphone for a while ( that is for a boy in boys colors....)

I finally found this one and wasn't sure until we got it.

My son just loves music and he loved this!

Main reasons to get it:

1. It has a feel of a real microphone with a cute childish look.

2. It plays music so my son is singing to the song he selectsold McDonald, twikle twinkle little star etc.

3. You can make the music go faster or slowers

The only con is that the feature of an actual microphone is not so great and hard for little kids to get-since you need to both press a button and speak right into the microphone at the same time.

If I had more time, I would attach a video, but with kids, I don't. My daughter LOVES this mic. She finds it easy to use and entertaining. I gave it to her when she had turned 2 and she would dance around the house singing along with the music. She loved hearing her voice amplified. She easily learned the buttons and the volume control. Now she is almost 4 and she still loves it, specially when daddy records silly things for her. It has taken a beating and still works, I have nothing but good things to say about it.

Adorable. Baby loves them. The only downside is getting the water out of them when bath time is over. I guess this is the problem with all squirties!!

I was looking everywhere for a water frog bath toy and this was perfect! The frogs are made very durably, bright and cheery looking. Very adorable, very perfect. Little rings are perfect size for baby frogs to sit on in the water! Looks like a great pool/bath toy for the babies.

This was a very cute toy. the hippos do float wit hte little floatie, I wish that there had been 3 rings rather than 2 so all of the little hippos could float. Our daughter liked them. The only problem with bath toys is that they can get mold in them fast.

This is a great toy, my daughter loves it! We drilled a hole in the mouths to make sure all the water got out and they didn't mildew, like another reviewer suggested. The only problem is the big duck tore along the bottom seam after 1.5 weeks of gentle play, and now we can't use it in the water.

From the moment I saw these froggies on my friends baby's pictures I fell in love with them. I ordered this toy, and loved it even more after seeing it in person. My 9 months old daughter loves to play with baby frogs, and to chew on the floaties. She even snuck one of the floaties to her crib a couple of times. A very cute, well-made, functional toy.

Winnie The Pooh Friendship Tub Tower

My daughter received these as a birthday gift in December 2006 and in June 2008 they are still in excellent shape. They are very durable and the suction cup on the cup stand is very strong. They're inexpensive and they don't get mildewy or gross in the tub or shower. I'd recommend them to the Pooh fan in your house or as a great gift for any little one who enjoys their tub time.

My kids have had this toy for at least two years and it's still one of their favorites. I was looking for it as a gift now for my nephew and thought I'd leave a review. So many tub toys are the same 'ol, same 'ol...this is one of those that's NOT. It's held up great, even after being sanitized in a bleach solution several times. No mold, no fading, no cracks or missing pieces. Love it!

One Special Boy 1st Birthday High Chair Decorating Set

I had to have this for my son's birthday. It seems a little overpriced, but something that I just had to get. The floor mat is REALLY slick and if you step on it while you're walking past, you're sure to slip. Several of the party guests slid on the mat. Happy Birthday!

I used this for my Son's First Birthday Party. It was cute. Served the purpose. But, it appears cheaply made and rips easily. It doesn't appear as nice as the picture. The price was good for the quality of merchandise. Quick delivery. Great packaging. Decent photo ops. Gave the highchair a little "uumph". We discarded it afterwards.

This set was the perfect compliment to our other party decorations. The mat kept the cake mess off the floor, and when placed under the feet of the high chair (as pictured) we had no problems with slips when stepped on, as other reviews indicated. It is made of slippery material, so slips could likely happen if it's not anchored down. The fringe/flags for the highchair tray were excellent -requiring only a few pieces of tape to secure. Highly recommend this product.

A lot smaller than it looks in the pictures; looks hollow on one side, and that did not show in the online pictures at all. This makes it look rather toy-like and cheap. At more than $8, not including shipping, this was not a value. Should have found this at a dollar store.

I purchased this set specifically to have for my baby's 1st Valentines pictures as Cupid. It was the perfect size. It did the trick and the pictures came out great!

I don't think I would get it just as a toy. The inside of the bow is hollow and would likely become uncomfortable. As a side note, the paint is also a little sloppy.

This was purchased as a prop to take Cupid pictures with our infant son for Valentines Day.

The Batman Childrens Costume

My 5 yr old grandson is into Batman, Spiderman, Ironman you name it. He has 5 differnet costumes, however no Batman. I ordered him one and at the suggestion of the sizing chart I ordered a child large. Well it took like 4 weeks to get here, he was so excited when it arrived. The mask and cape fit fine but he would have to be about 5" taller and 30lbs heavier to fit into the costume, in fact it was to big for his 11 yr old sister. Which doesn't make sense to me, if the mask and cape fit him. Anyway he tried to hold back the tears which broke my heart. I contacted the vendor and asked what we could do. I was told since it had been opened and tried on they would not take it back. How do you know if it fits if you don't try it on ?

I am throwing it in the trash along with the name of the company and purchasing him one elsewhere. I buy from Amazon several times a month but this vendor will never see another order from me.

My four-year-old son loves this costume. It was decently well made for the price and will no doubt give him many days of super-hero joy. Very easy for him to take on and off. Stretchy material goes in the wash no problem and doesn't ball up like those really cheap costumes. Great buy.

Though my grandson loves his batman costume, I am afraid it won't last until Halloween. The material is very thin and the threads are already pulling away from the seams and he's worn it for only one day! That I can take care of. The head mask and cape are a little small for his head, but that's ok, too. It's the BOOT TOPS that have all of us disappointed. The photo online clearly shows a boot covering that completes the total look of the costume.

When we took another look at the online photo we can see that the original photo clearly shows boot tops. There is another photo that looks like it was submitted by a customer showing a child in another type of Batman costume without the book tops.

However, the packaging that my grandson's costume came in clearly states that the costume includes: jumpsuit with attached boot tops, headpiece with attached cape, belt.

I think that you should send us the missing boot tops. That would be the fair thing to do.

My little dog just loves this toy with the squeaks and rattles in the feet. She just loves to shake it to make it rattle.

My dog loves this toy. He carries it around with him wherever he goes, even to bed! It's durable and the squeak/rattle sounds make it fun. He always pulls stuffing out of toys with squeakers, but this one is still an intact toy even after he has pulled the squeaker and stuffing out of 2 of the legs :)

Kettler Baby Locomo

I read the review that said this product was poorly made. I decided to get it anyway. How could a toy for $49.99 be all that bad? Well it is! The plastic is rickety, it tips easily and it is just not a great design. I can not recommend this. It's not even worth a fraction of the price.

i am a big kettler fan, but this baby locomo was poorly made, missing a part, and a huge disappointment for the price... nearly everything we have purchased from kettler has been exceptional (you occasionaly need a missing bolt sent, but they comply quickly), so we got this baby kettler ride-on expecting no less... even though we'll still buy lots of kettler, this is one item we will tell everyone not to purchase again! sorry kettler, but do a better job on this one next revision!

We received this item with our pampers points and it is the worst ride on I have ever seen. We had only had this product for about 3 days when the handle and seat already started to break. My 13 month old pushed up to get off on the green footrest and was thrown from it when it tipped forward. Do not waste your money. Kettler usually has great products but this is not one of them!

The company indicates that this item would suit a 10 month and older child. This is not the case. The seat is too high for our 11 month old (average size) to even reach the floor. When secured in for the first time, he gently leaned to one side and fell over. Actually, I think he would be much safer without the belt---then a child might just fall off, instead of falling hard with the whole toy to the floor. After the fall, I decided to only let him use it when we pushed him, but that is no good either. The push bar in the back bends (not a solid piece) and is extremely difficult to manuver. The stickers were falling off right out of the box too and this item does not easily go together! The foot rest (not practical at all to use by the way) is extremely hard to snap in. Overall, not a good product. Try the Kettler little bikes---they are nice for older kids. Get something else for your little one.

This ride-on is great. My grandson has had it almost a year now and he still loves it and rides on it. His big brother tries to get on it because he loves trains but CJ pushes him off and won't let anyone else ride it. Well worth the money!!

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn My Pretty Learning Purse

I recieved this purse as a birthday gift for my one year old after having considered buying it myself many times. The accessories that come with it are cute and fun. The lipstick rattles, the money crinkles, there's a bracelet to wear and mirror to look in, and the keys attach to the front of the purse.

The purse itself is awkward and bulky and barely opens enough to see inside. Not that you'd want to, because the inside is all seams and screws and ugliness. The purse doesn't stay opened or closed that well, it flops back and forth. The switch to change modes is difficult even for me to set on the right mode, and frankly it doesn't teach or sing that much. A few words and couple songs.

A regular (non-electronic) purse with the same accessories would be great. My daughter likes putting other things in the purse and taking things out so I think I will get her a normal toy purse to keep the accessories in to carry around and she can play with this purse every once in a while.

All in all I am neutral on this product. The accessories are cute but the purse isn't impressive.

My one year old granddaughter got this for her first birthday! How cute! She LOVES it! LOVES CARRYING IT AROUND! Kisses herself in the mirror! LOL Little zipper on front makes "zipper" sound. Makes clicking (closing) sound when closed, educational songs, etc. Even w/o the educational features, it is so much fun (and safe) for a little girl's first purse. We love this toy. We got it for our daughter who is nearly 1 year old and it is just adorable. The purse plays music and my daughter dances to the music. In my household and in the only other one where I have seen this Laugh & Learn Purse used, it has been a huge hit. As I am writing this, my 1.5 year old daughter grabbed it and started zipping the zipper back and forth laughing out loud as the purse giggled. This seems like a perfect gift/toy for a 1 year old girl. My daughter's used it for 6 months and it has held up and she still loves it.

This purse comes with some fun accessories including money, mirror, lipstick, bracelet, and keys. My daughter spends probably an hour each day taking these items (and many others that she's added to the collection) out of the purse and putting them back in.

Her favorite part, is that each time you open the purse or zip the zipper it will play a song, make a noise, or talk about what is going on depending on which of the 3 options you have selected. There is also a silent option, which is a welcome feature after a while.

This purse is one of the worst toys we have. The top is difficult to open and close, there's no room inside, the accessories are boring, and the music sends inappropriate messages. Why would they want to tell a one year old that she has to look in the mirror and put lipstick on before she can leave the house? Come on, Fisher Price. How about a song about counting change? Or about buying healthy food? Or about locking the door when you leave home? Or SOMETHING valuable to children.

My daughter loves make believe, but she is completely bored with this purse. It should have had more variety of money (coins, different value bills) and less focus on beauty.

Bright Starts Twist and Teethe

This toy is easy for our 4 month old daughter to grab and hold. She loves chewing on it and smiles back at the bright smiley face. It is sturdy but also slightly flexible. A great toy!

My 6 month old seems to gravitate towards this teether. It's easy for him to hold, and he likes to chew on the little antenaes on the bug's head the most.
