I purchaced this item from a store about a month ago and i am very pleased with it. It is my 2 and a half month old's fav. toy. She loves the bright colors, the flashing lights, music, and the spaztic movements. She plays with it for about 10-15 mins before being bored of it but she definitly loves this toy.

My sister-in-law purchased this toy for my 8 month old son who just started to crawl. He loves this toy and initially watched with amazement the mobility of this toy to move on it's own. After a few minutes, our son was chasing it and trying to tackle it with his little body. It's a little strange to see the toy move on it's own after a few minutes sitting idle, but it's not too loud or obnoxious either. All in all, I think it's a nice gift for a crawling baby.

My husband ordered this toy for our baby for Christmas. It looked like a cute toy that our child would have fun with. Everything was fine until we took the toy out of the box. As soon as the plastic tab was pulled from the battery compartment the toy promptly quit working. Thinking that perhaps the batteries chose that exact moment to go bad I got a screwdriver to attempt to replace them. The screw just turned and turned and would not come out. I worked on it quite a while before giving up and letting other people attempt to remove the screw. No such luck. Deciding that this toy was becoming more trouble than it was worth we contacted Amazon about returning this toy as defective. We were given instructions and a return label for returning the product. Just one more thing a parent that works full-time needs to deal with.

In the meantime a replacement Roll & Chase ball was shipped to us. My excitment about this quickly evaporated when I saw the condition of the replacement toy. The box was beat up and the ball was dirty and scuffed. Looked very much like a refurbished product. I was even more disappointed when I pushed the button to demonstrate the toy. It lit up and did what it was supposed to for about 2 seconds before cutting out. Ever the optimist, I thought maybe it would work once removed from the box. Once again as soon as the plastic tab was pulled out of the battery compartment this pile of junk stopped working. I wasn't even in the mood to try removing the screw to check the batteries. Once again we will have to go through the hassle of returning this product, only this time I DO NOT want another one.

We are extremely dissappointed with this product and the fact that one of the gifts that we got our baby for first Christmas turned out to be a complete dud. I'm just glad that our little one is too young to be dissappointed by this Christmas present. I would give this product zero stars if possible.

Bought this item for my grandson. Works well on carpet and he seems to like it. It has helped him learn to crawl but it does take a minute for it start again. By this time he has found an interest in something else. Fun product and would purchase again.

I purchased this, along with Courage for my grandson. The other was chewed up by their dog. He usually takes good care of his special bed toys but didn't think the dog would chew it so he left it on a pillow. I thought Sarge was a great addition. He sleeps with both and instead of leaving them on pillows when he is at school, he places them in a storage box with a tight fitting lid.

I found a beanie like this one in a thrift store and bought it because it reminded me of my Sharky that passed when she was 16yrs. She was the best dog! My granddaughter who is 3 1/2yrs loves this beanie and always wants me to bring it when I see her. I bought her this one and will surprise her with it for Christmas! Blue Rubber Ducky

We actually have the pink version of this duck. It is cute but the hole in the bottom makes this bad for Bath Time. It always gets water inside and no matter if you squeeze all of the water out after every use like I do, the inside will not completely dry and it will get moldy inside. Then when you squeeze this to empty the water moldy globs will come out too. Definately NOT something you want in the water with your baby/child, especially when they like to put this in their mouth.

The only reason I can guess this has a hole in the bottom is so it can squeak but in my opinion this is too stiff for a baby or small child to squeeze and it doesn't make much of a squeak anyhow.

IF you are going to get this just for your child to play with OUT of water, it is pretty durable and the bill is nice for babys to chew on.

IF you want a duck for Bath Time, I recommend the Munchkin brand, it also has the "HOT" temperature thing on the bottom. There are no holes so it doesn't get moldy. Both my daughters love playing with it & chewing on its bill.

1 year old boy adores this ball. I use it with his colors book and random toys to show him different colors as I name them.

Good quality, soft and squishy with a jingle inside.

I saw this in the store a couple of months after my son was born, but my mom talked me out of buying it. However, when Christmas rolled around I kept coming back to it. I decided to go ahead and buy it, and I'm glad that I did. My son was 6 months at Christmas and he LOVED this ball. I wish that I had bought it sooner, because he would've loved it around 4 months as well.

When the ball first arrived I took it out of the packaging, and showed it to my son. His little mouth formed a big "O" and he started to shake all over as he held out his arms to grab it, lol. (He used to quiver in anticipation whenever he would get really excited.)

The ball is colorful, soft, and has something inside it that jingles softly. When my son was first learning how to sit up, he would lean over to to hug this ball, bury his face in it, and squeal with joy. It's a nice size...not too small and not too big. He loved for me to shake it in front of him so he could try to grab it. And it rolled over to him easy too. Oh, and I like the color names embroidered on the panels as well. This ball will serve as a first guide for color and word recognition. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. It's a simple toy, but my son liked it a lot more than other fancier and more complicated toys that he got for Christmas.

I purchased this for a baby shower in which the mommy to be also loves dogs. This gift went over well. I personally like these books as they are soft and colorful for babies to play with. My daughter really likes playing with these types of books.

My granddaughter loved her Silly Buddy we had to order extras so she'd have one when the other was being washed (they hold up great in both washer and dryer)! She's 3 and still insists on having hers at bedtime or anytime she is stressed. Knew right away when her baby brother was on the way that I'd be buying more. This set of 4 books is so cute and a great first set of starter books for an infant. The pictures are very clear, and large and eye catching for babies. The words are short and keep their attention! The hold ring at the corner is also an awesome accessory. The only reason I didnt give this a 5 was the weird packaging they came in.

Badger Basket Three Bin Storage Cubby

I purchased 1 of the 2 bin cuubies and 1 of the 3 bin cubbies in the espresso color to stack on top of each other.

They are NOT the same color, there are 2 completely different finishes on these and they look bad stacked together.

I bought 2 of these to store my toddler's toys and gave them 2 stars only because they will serve their purpose. I was hoping it would be a fairly stylish way to mask the mess, but I was wrong. The boxes are more industrial than stylish (unless industrial is your style of course). The bins are sturdy enough but simply don't look as nice as I had hoped. They are espresso colored, but it is a solid color... nothing wood looking about them, so they clash with our other furniture.

Also, as others have stated, there are no covers for the silver screws. By simply adding covers of some type, or even dark colored screws, the manufacturer could bumped them up a notch in style and completely changed the look of these bins. I am going to try to find some wood plugs to stain and cover up those ugly screws. Also, both bins came with some damage (smashed corners/edges). The damage is on the front and the bottom of the bins but is somehow (thankfully) in a location where it will probably go unnoticed by others.

The bins were very easy to assemble. They only took me about 20 minutes and I assembled them alone. Unfortunately it is very easy to strip the screw holes, so you have to use a very gentle pressure when tightening the screws. I wish now that I had put a little wood glue in each hole to hopefully increase the life of these units.

I fully expect them to get banged up, dented, and probably chewed on by my son, so the poor quality doesn't upset me as much as it would otherwise. These WILL serve the purpose of storing toys for a toddler, but they aren't worth $65 each. I feel like I got ripped off. I wish I would have spent more and purchased something similar from a place that pays more attention to detail, but I keep reminding myself that they are only for toy storage.

Finally, the bins smell terrible. I think it is an odor of adhesive maybe??? Or from the packaging??? They give off a sickening smell of packaging tape. I don't really know how to explain it otherwise, but we have to open the windows and air out the house today. I felt terrible because the odor in my baby's room is so strong after having his bedroom door closed all night. I'd move the bins out to the garage to air out, but I'm afraid the humidity might ruin the fine finish. ;)

These bins would be great if you don't mind the screw holes and if you don't expect them to stay looking nice. But like I said, they will serve their purpose if you can get past the rest.

Large, holds quite a bit of toys!

Construction is sturdy. It comes with a bracket so you can stack one on top of another and still quite sturdy!

Easy assembly. Took about 30 minutes to assemble each cubby, a total of 1 hour for both.

Looks fantastic!

Cons:

Came a little chipped in a couple of small places.

There are no covers for the screws, so they show.

Overall, for this price and for the amount of toys it holds, I am not complaining. I am going to order 2 more for his bedroom upstairs (with more toys)!! I am quite content!

At first I thought these cards were wonderful. They are educational and inspired alot of great bath nights. After 1 month the plastic on one of the cards began to peel and eventually it fell apart. I just figured it was a fluke and was just that one card. Over the next month the rest of cards also began to fall apart and I eventually gave up and threw away the entire stack. I realize they were only ten dollars, but I did have hopes they would be better constructed.

After reading a couple of other reviews, I decided to play it safe and rotate this tub toy with others. My son is 4 and my daughter is 3. We've had these cards for over a month, and my two little ones play at least one-two times a week with these cards. I've had to stop my daughter from nibbling on the edges a couple of times, and haven't had any problems with the cards splitting yet. The cards come with a netted bag for air-dry storage. They stick to the tub/shower wall when wet, and float on the water for a pretty cool game of match. I'm impressed with these, and my little ones love them. It's also a great way to get them out of the bath without a fight. Once they've matched all the pairs, I unplug the drain and declare a race against the water drain to get the toys back in the netted bag. It works every timeno tears or fuss to stay in the tub.

My 5 month old daughter loves this ball! It's very pretty to look at and I trust Haba completely. And, it's machine washable so it's super easy to clean.

My daughter is 7 months old and enjoys playing with this. It does not hold her attention for long though. She enjoys it best if you toss and catch it so she hears it jingle. It is lightweight and soft so very easy for her to pick up. It does have a squeaker in there but it's near impossible for a child to find or use. I now know it's in the blue segment. We purchased this for an 8 month old, and I think it would actually have been suitable for about 4 months plus--the textures, colors, and sounds (ex. crinkly) make it intriguing. It is easy to grab, which I thought would be a plus, but in terms of playing "ball"--rolling, kicking, or tossing--so far our 10 month old doesn't use this toy that way. (Our child does use a plainer, round fabric ball that way.) This toy was intriguing to our child when we first got it, but I think this would be a good toy for a younger baby which can be used later on as well. We have not tried to wash it (I don't think that was recommended), but so far it seems very well made, durable--holds its shape well.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn My Pretty Learning Purse

I recieved this purse as a birthday gift for my one year old after having considered buying it myself many times. The accessories that come with it are cute and fun. The lipstick rattles, the money crinkles, there's a bracelet to wear and mirror to look in, and the keys attach to the front of the purse.

The purse itself is awkward and bulky and barely opens enough to see inside. Not that you'd want to, because the inside is all seams and screws and ugliness. The purse doesn't stay opened or closed that well, it flops back and forth. The switch to change modes is difficult even for me to set on the right mode, and frankly it doesn't teach or sing that much. A few words and couple songs.

A regular (non-electronic) purse with the same accessories would be great. My daughter likes putting other things in the purse and taking things out so I think I will get her a normal toy purse to keep the accessories in to carry around and she can play with this purse every once in a while.

All in all I am neutral on this product. The accessories are cute but the purse isn't impressive.

We love this toy. We got it for our daughter who is nearly 1 year old and it is just adorable. The purse plays music and my daughter dances to the music. In my household and in the only other one where I have seen this Laugh & Learn Purse used, it has been a huge hit. As I am writing this, my 1.5 year old daughter grabbed it and started zipping the zipper back and forth laughing out loud as the purse giggled. This seems like a perfect gift/toy for a 1 year old girl. My daughter's used it for 6 months and it has held up and she still loves it.

This purse comes with some fun accessories including money, mirror, lipstick, bracelet, and keys. My daughter spends probably an hour each day taking these items (and many others that she's added to the collection) out of the purse and putting them back in.

Her favorite part, is that each time you open the purse or zip the zipper it will play a song, make a noise, or talk about what is going on depending on which of the 3 options you have selected. There is also a silent option, which is a welcome feature after a while.

Or about buying healthy food? Or about locking the door when you leave home? Or SOMETHING valuable to children.

My daughter loves make believe, but she is completely bored with this purse. It should have had more variety of money (coins, different value bills) and less focus on beauty.

Educo Early Melodies Rhythm Set

These are only 5-6 inches long-smaller than I anticipated (says 8.7 inches in product dimensionsthat is the box, not the contents), but work well for little hands. My 18 mo old is enjoying these instruments.

Brought for my one year old who is really into music. The instruments are small but good for little hands. The shaker doesn't really make any noise, it's hard to get it just right to get it to work right, and a child small enough to use it probably wouldn't figure it out. It had two elastic cords, I removed the top one and it is slightly easier to make a sound, but now it's kind of flimsy. I wouldn't reccommend.

This teether is magic! So many of my mommy books said that babies need something soft to use as a teether. That couldn't be father from the truth. They need something hard. After a friend recommended Palumba I bought one of their teethers from their website. When I gave it to my daughter she was holding it and looking at it with intense eyes. And then she put it in her mouth and it was like a soothing wind caught her breath and made everything roses. Pure magic!

Suggestion: Put a little water on it and put it in the fridge for a while.

Also, it is hand made in the USA, NOT CHINA thank god!

It came in lovely tissue paper with instruction how to care which left me disappointed first only because I didn't know I needed a wood oil or bee wax. Well, you can substitute with good old olive oil which is better because it gave lovely scent as well. My little one who is 4 months old now immediately attracted and trying to grab and use it. He had quite of time playing with it when we all had dinner in peace. The only reason I give 4 star is because the inside of the ring wasn't as smooth as I want to be. It had little wood grains. (not sharp chips but definitely NOT smooth) As I am writing this review I am still trying to rub it down with my hand or if this doesn't get better I might just get a fine sand paper and sand it down. Otherwise, it's a great little teether which is also very beautiful.

When we first got it, my wife was a bit taken aback by it being wood (it seemed too hard to her), but now that we have had it for a few months she has made a 180 degree about face and loves it. Our daughter loves it as well, it's by far her favorite toy to sooth her gums with.

For me it was important to find a product that was natural and free of toxins. In the EU they have banned teethers that contain PVC, here in the US it is still legal.

The product has a very light finish, almost nothing on it which was rinsed off when we first washed it. The wood itself is quite soft and does not splinter or anything like that. The shape of the teether is nice as well, lots of different options for the baby. It is also the perfect size for babies 3 to 4 months when the first start to clutch and bring things to their mouth, most teethers are a little bigger but this is great for small hands and mouths.

Highly recommend it, and the shipping was extremely fast as well.

Pretty much what I expected. Looks like the picture, the wood isn't 'finished', so it's not smooth, but it's a natural feeling.

My kid is 9mo now, and he was enamored with it for the first couple weeks we got it(4-5mo.) Doesn't seem to keep his attention for long nowadays. If you touch your middle finger to your thumb, it's about that size.(normal size hands)

I bought this teether hoping to avoid the ubiquitous "made in China" plasticware that most teethers are... I think I had higher hopes for it. My daughter likes it ok, but it is definitely not her favorite chew toyshe likes her Sophie Giraffe much more. It is easy for her to grip and it's very smoothno splinters, after 4 monthsbut maybe it's just not her thing. But it's well made and once in a while she will gnaw on it for a bit. Some babies will love it, but she tends to want something slightly softercold wash cloths do the trick often, as does the aforementioned rubber giraffe. It's hit or miss but I don't regret trying.

I rated this puzzle 4 stars overall, only because of all the small pieces and no where to store them.If your like me you have tons of Ziploc baggies,definitely not a major issue!Maybe for the cost of this product it could come in a thin wooden box.

This puzzle is one of the best I've gotten, I love the durability you get with it being made of wood.

It's very difficult to find worthwhile products that your children will show interest in and not get bored with,only to be thrown in the bottom of the toy box.

This puzzle doesn't get old, there are several variations.Not only is this fun but way educational and the kids never even realize it.

Is great for girls and boys,2 and up to 7 years.I will be purchasing more products from P'Kolino, Excellent Job!!!

Our 3 kids love puzzles. That being said, it is hard to find a simple puzzle that kids don't age out of right away. This one solves that problem by adding the interchangeable pieces. Our 4 year old loves that there isn't a "right" way for the rocket to look. She has enjoyed it as much as her younger brother. The puzzle arrived in great shape. We didn't have any trouble with the paint. I wish they could take the creativity aspect to the next level by coloring the reverse sides of the shapes in different colors. I think by doubling the possible combinations this would remain the favorite puzzle for years to come. Although it is very well loved already.

I love these puzzles because there is more than one way to put it together. This puzzle has one challenging piece, the blue piece that goes around the mouth has to have a certain side up because one side of the mouth is taller than the other. A very cute puzzle for boys or girls who like robots.

I purchased this puzzle last year and my 3 year old still plays with it.She has advanced in play in terms of knowledge of shapes and using perspective in order to achieve a desired result.The puzzle is very sturdy and it is also age appropiate for my 7 year old.I will continue to purchase P'Kolino products, great quality and educational value!

I've bought my son all the P'Kolino Puzzles because they're so unique and durable. He got his first one on his second birthday and is still building them today. I think it effectively helps him negotiate spatial relations and was not as frustrating for him as jigsaw puzzles when his dexterity wasn't that good. There are no other puzzles like these and you can start kids on solo at an early age which I appreciate.

I don't give it 5 stars for two reasons, this time it came with a piece missing. It was just too much work to send it back and everything. Also, they're too expensive. Well made yes, but they should be $10-$12.
