This was what my 4 yr old daughter asked for this Christmas. When she saw it standing there under the tree she was super delighted. She loves that it stands on its own and the star on its head is beautiful. It is soft enough that she cuddles with it at night as she sleeps. This was a last minute buy too and they still managed to get it to my house in plenty of time. Wonderful!

These are perfect! Exactly what I had anticipated. And they shipped super fast. On a few areas there is stuffing coming out of them but you just need to pull that out past the stitching and it has been fine after that.

Bright Starts Rattle Me Bracelets

I received a set of these as a shower gift and my daughter loved them! Lost one while out one day and had to order another set right away. They do fit a bit loosely if your baby is small, but work on ankles too.

These wrist rattles are cute. But my daughter is not really into them. She prefers the flower over the butterfly though. The flower rattles and the butterfly has crinkly wings. But the butterfly's wings are so small that they don't really make a sound. Sidenote these were really cute decorations on the diaper cake from my shower! Just wish my daughter liked them more.

Color Burst Mirror

While my son enjoys looking at himself in this mirror, it really shouldn't be used on the floor since it's not very sturdy. It can be attached to a crib instead.

i chose this mirror because i read how bright contrasting colors will help with stimulation for your baby and make them smarter, it is very bright and stimulating and the mirror, even tho it is plastic, is not one of those cheap distorting plastic mirrors. picture makes it look a little bigger than it is.

My 9 month old love's this toy for about 15 minutes and then he moves on..... Rubie's Costume Deluxe Baby Bunting

This costume didn't fit my 3 month old baby very well at all. The fabric is thin and unflattering. The head piece was huge for a 3 month old, even though it states that it will fit 1-9 month olds. The picture is much cuter than the product.

So cute....the packaging says that it's a guppy but really a clownfish (or Nemo). A little difficult to get on but it is so adorable.

I bought this costume thinking it would fit my 6 month old son. He's 27 inches long and 16 lbs., and this barely fit him. His legs kept coming out because there was only a small velcro closure at the rear end of the costume (for easy diaper changes). However, the head portion was too big for him since his head is on the smaller side. It's a very cute costume, and we received lots of compliments on it, but it may not fit babies who are a little bigger than average.

I bought this for my 6 month old for Halloween. Since the size was 0-9 months, I thought we were in the clear. Wrong. The body of it was too short. My son's legs wouldn't even fit in it, and he is in the 50th percentile (not an unusually tall baby). The hat was WAY too big and kept turning around so he couldn't see, and the eyes of the fish were in a weird position. Instead of a clownfish, he looked more like a tadpole. And the arms were way too long. I had to constantly push the sleeves back so he could get to his hands. I don't think my child has an odd shape, so I have to assume this costume was the problem! He looked very awkward in this costume. I wouldn't recommend it.

I love this cat that I got for my daughter and I wouldn't subtract a star for the dimensions, but... since they weren't included in the description I had been imagining these toys a bit bigger. Especially for the price, you'd think you would get a more substantial toy, but oh well. For anyone interested in the dimensions, the kitty is just over 7 inches when sitting and it's just over 12 inches total from head to toe. I'll post pics with a ruler for a reference if anyone wants to see what this toy really looks like in person. Anyway, it's still super-soft and it's filled with little plastic (I'm assuming) beads so it has a fun feel to it if you're getting it for a baby. I really love the neutral expression on the kitty's face too, it's so cute! I guess it doesn't really matter what I think though, the recipient is the one who should be the most excited with this cat and in my case she was! I bought this for my 9-month-old daughter and she has been captivated by it since I took it out of the (awesome) box. She smiles at it and snuggles face-to-face with it, it's the most cuddly she's ever been with a toy before. I still do wish it were a bit bigger, but I'm not a toy designer, so what do I know? Lol. It's still a high-quality stuffed animal and that is apparent as soon as you see it, so I'd recommend it for anyone looking to find their baby a special lovie or perhaps for someone looking to buy a nice gift.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Phone

When my baby recieved this toy it was loud in the box. Then good old mom tried to get it out of the box so he could play with it. In the process, I dropped the toy approximately 5 times accidentally. So I think it turned out to be pretty durable.

When I pulled the demo tab out of the back, the toy's volume lowered exactly 60 decibles. This is supposed to happen. It is an FCC ruling the it not be loud so that the toy doesn't blast your child's ears out when they immitate you talking on the phone. This may be annoying to some parents, but it's to protect your child's hearing. When the tab is in the back of the toy, and it's still in the box, it is in "DEMO MODE". This is loud because toy departments in stores can be extremely loud and they want you to be able to hear the toy over parents who are screaming at their own screaming children. My house is not as loud as a toy store because my child doesn't run it, and the toy works fine.

The ABC tunes and Numbers are just what I want my child to see. They are very clear on the screen, and the large variety of sounds and light patterns are pretty neat. I think that it offers a great capability of clearly teaching children some basic building blocks of literacy, and would recommend this toy to anyone.

I purchased the phone because my daughter loves the laugh and learn house. She plays with it all the time. I had read the reviews before hand and couldn't understand why some people said the volume was bad. Now I know why. In the store it worked great. Once I took the tab off the sound dropped severly. Yes, I did change the batteries but that did not change anything. I am a mom of 3. If I had this for my first child when my house was quieter it probably would have been great. Three children does not make this toy great to play with amongst other people, very hard to understand. I have three other phones all with volume controls-I understand when I put it to my ear its okay but most children don't put it their ear.

This toy is a wonderfully educational and fun toy but it is so loud! There is no volume control and when I held it up to my own ear when I was playing with my daughter I was shocked and terrified by how loud this was. If it made my ear ring what was it doing to hers? The only way to remedy the problem of the noise was to remove the batteries which takes away from the appeal. I give it fives stars for it's fun, educational, and durable qualities but really want to caution parents about the decibel level that, with prolonged use, could do some permanent damage to a small child's hearing. I was suprised Fisher Price was not more aware of the problem and did not attempt to make it more safe and user friendly. I typically only buy Fisher Price toys because of the quality but would urge them to consider volume controls or limits on their toys. I know as a parent I should be more cognizant of the dangers of toys I purchase for my children but in my haste to find a teaching toy I overlooked the aspect of safety. I figured a one piece toy with no obvious design flaws, small parts, choking hazards, etc. would be perfect. This is how I learn as a parent and I hope my experience helps others out there who want their children to be healthy!

I bought this for my 1 year old for Christmas. We took it out of the box and pulled out the "demo" tag (this tag makes the toy louder for in the store) for safety reasons. Well, my 1 year old who was infatuated with this toy when he could hear it (read: in the box) tossed it to the side and left it there because he couldn't hear it. I couldn't hear it either. I was about to send the POS back when I got the idea to shove the demo tag bag in and clip the end of it off, then cram the remainder of the tag in as far as it will go so my son couldn't pull it out and choke on it. It works great, now and it's one of his favorite toys. So, thanks Fisher Price for making a toy that only works properly with a choking hazard inserted into it.

I bought this product (for my 16m.old) after reading the other reviews for this item, So I knew about the claims for the sound quality. After I took the phone out of the box, I Put the little demo tab back in to the slot and I taped it on so that it can't come out. The sound is excellent since I taped the tab in place. Other than that, It is a an excellent quality toy. Very educational, Showing the ABC's and saying the ABC's also the 123's, and other cute phrases.

I'm the type of person who reads almost every review before buying anything, and there were a couple comments mentioned by MULTIPLE reviewers that almost made me not buy this toy!

These bad comments were (NOT my opinion):

1. The toy is dangerous -child's arm got stuck in the hole where balls shoot out from.

2. The toy is VERY loud and a potential danger for small developing ears.

3. The small balls are a choking hazard.

I decided to give it a try cause I could always return it, well I'm KEEPING it!

#1... the toy that I got is the updated version that now has "prongs" on the inside of the tube, so there's no way a child can get their arm stuck down there.

#2... the toy is NOT as loud as most of the reviewers describe it to be. When I got it, I thought it was gonna sound like a vacuum cleaner from all the comments! It doesn't -it sounds like a muffled hair dryer. Louder than any toys he has, but FAR from deafening!

#3... the balls are a little bit on the small side. I tried putting the balls in my mouth just in case, and I really had to open wide! I don't think a small child could fit them in their mouth. In any case, I wouldn't let my son play with this toy alone anyway. It's not that big of a deal.

The amount of fun my son has far outweighs any of the negatives (if you can call them that) of this toy. I happen to think it's perfect!!! And I'm so happy I ignored all the bad reviews!

First for the drawbacks; 1)It is easy to lose the balls if you don't make a point of collecting them after play and keeping them somewhere safe, 2)There is music that plays continuously while it is on, which can be annoying for some, and 3)The play cycle is rather short so you or baby must keep pressing plunger to start it again. This might be a welcome respite for those offended by #2.

BUT: All four of my boys LOVED this toy!!! A favorite, and a toy I always buy or recommend to others. Perfect for a boy or girl. My boys were enthralled by the colorful balls shooting out of the hole and amazed when they almost always went where they were supposed to, which is around the ramp and back into the receptacle. They also LOVED to feel the air blow out of the toy (the air is what pushes the ball up and out of the hole) and would often just press the plunger to feel the air on their faces, hands and in their hair. They quickly learned to start the toy themselves and would be entertained by it longer than they would be by other toys. All of my boys got this toy for their first birthdays (I am a toy manufacturers dream, I sell toys in Mom2Mom sales after on child outgrows them and then end up buying them again for subsequent kids-can't stand clutter and feel they deserve their own stuff).

I bought this for my 10 month old daughter since my son seemed to love it at daycare when he was 1-2 years old. He's now 2 1/2 and still enjoys it. I think it's an adorable toy and a good way to teach cause/effect. My daughter watches intently as the balls pop up, then I show her where they go inside. I admit that she does flinch in surprise a little with the air/music combo as the balls pop up, but I don't think it's too loud at all. The anticipation is the fun part! I hate to say that 3 of the 5 balls are missing as of late, since they do fly all over the place when you play. I wonder if they sell extras/replacements...?

I bought this for my son when he was about 15 months old. He is now 3 and a half and still LOVES this thing. Two major problems: The music is VERY loud and VERY annoying. The second problem is that it eats batteries like you would not believe. As soon as the power goes down a bit from the low batteries, the balls don't shoot into the air, they just sort of push up to the top of the tube which is alot less fun for the kids. That said, it was well worth the money if you are oonly considering the the amount of fun my kids have had with it.

My neice has one of the older ones of these and it was great fun. I ordered one for my now 6 mo old and set it up and .... nothing. Check the instructions, is there some safety switch, did I not screw in the battery cover screw all the way? nope. Just DOA.

Ordered from Amazon, so they were great replacement went out 12/24 arrived 12/28.... Only a little better. Did nothing ... read a review about having to press hard and pressed very hard. chirp, pressed very hard again, chirp, pressed repeatedly and boom, came on, fan blew, music blared, whew. Worked a few more times over the next few minutes and just when I set it up in front of my son and he got to see it once...and was reaching for it... no more.

What absolute Junk. Tried another brand new set of batteries... not a chirp, nothing.

The Batman Childrens Costume

My 5 yr old grandson is into Batman, Spiderman, Ironman you name it. He has 5 differnet costumes, however no Batman. I ordered him one and at the suggestion of the sizing chart I ordered a child large. Well it took like 4 weeks to get here, he was so excited when it arrived. The mask and cape fit fine but he would have to be about 5" taller and 30lbs heavier to fit into the costume, in fact it was to big for his 11 yr old sister. Which doesn't make sense to me, if the mask and cape fit him. Anyway he tried to hold back the tears which broke my heart. I contacted the vendor and asked what we could do. I was told since it had been opened and tried on they would not take it back. How do you know if it fits if you don't try it on ?

I am throwing it in the trash along with the name of the company and purchasing him one elsewhere. I buy from Amazon several times a month but this vendor will never see another order from me.

I reordered the item from another vendor and received it today, it fits him perfect and he was a VERY happy little boy. Thank you Costume Craze

My four-year-old son loves this costume. It was decently well made for the price and will no doubt give him many days of super-hero joy. Very easy for him to take on and off. Stretchy material goes in the wash no problem and doesn't ball up like those really cheap costumes. Great buy.

Though my grandson loves his batman costume, I am afraid it won't last until Halloween. The material is very thin and the threads are already pulling away from the seams and he's worn it for only one day! That I can take care of. The head mask and cape are a little small for his head, but that's ok, too. It's the BOOT TOPS that have all of us disappointed. The photo online clearly shows a boot covering that completes the total look of the costume.

When we took another look at the online photo we can see that the original photo clearly shows boot tops. There is another photo that looks like it was submitted by a customer showing a child in another type of Batman costume without the book tops.

However, the packaging that my grandson's costume came in clearly states that the costume includes: jumpsuit with attached boot tops, headpiece with attached cape, belt.

I think that you should send us the missing boot tops. That would be the fair thing to do.

Prince Lionheart Back to Sleep Bear

Ordered the bear for my son, he was having a hard time sleeping in his own room during the first few weeks we put him in his crib. The bear helped with the transition from his co-sleeper in our room into his crib in his room. I slept with the bear and the blanket for several nights to transfer my smell to them. We also recorded both my husband's and my voices on the recorder shushing and soothing the baby. We washed the bear and the blanket when we received them because they both had fuzz and strings on them. I actually washed the blanket twice to try to get all of the fuzz off of them. When they came out of the package they had a slightly chemical smell that came off when we washed them.

We bought this version in addition to the original Prince Lionheart Slumber Bear because we wanted to make use of the feature which plays multiple sounds, but we were very dissapointed in the multisound audio box. True, you can record your voice for 20 seconds... however in order for the infant to hear your recorded message an adult has to press a small button on the front of the box any and every time you wish to play your message. If you fumble with taking the box out of the bear, it is very easy to erase the message by accidently pressing a similarly small button on the side of the box. Noise or shaking activates the box, but it always only reverts to playing womb sounds no matter which audio sound was the last button pressed. Since the additional features cannot be used independently by an infant, I would spend less money and rely on the original bear instead.

I was really looking forward to my kiddo being able to use the sound box attached to his bassinet for a while and then later in the bear. Well, it wasn't three full weeks into his life when it started making strange skipping noises on the "womb noise" setting--like a scratched CD. Shortly, all of the sounds made the same skips and clicks and it was completely useless. It was a gift and when I contacted the customer service department, they basically told me I was SOL. I won't be buying any of their products.

Gund Manni Bear 12.5" Plush

My son has loved this bear for the past 4 years. It is his absolute favourite and goes everywhere with him. Despite the amount of 'loving' this bear has had, it has stood up to everything brilliantly.

Very soft and cuddley. My Grandaughters favorite. Good color and durability. She's carried this around for a year now and it still looks pretty good. The color does not show dirt or stains so we both are happy. Not sure why previous reviewer had problems, maybe it was just one bad one that got past quality control.

Little Tikes Go and Grow Lil' Rollin' Giraffe

I ordered 3 of these for the very busy little toddlers in the home daycare that I run. There was a bit of strength involved in putting them together, but overall it was quick and easy. I let the kids test drive them on the hardwood floor in the living room and they didn't seem to get much traction but they loved them. I don't mind that they can't go too fast, as I would rather they didn't fly into each other or the furniture. They seem very stable and on the shortest setting are perfect for my two boys who are 20 and 21 months of age. My little girl, who is 15 months could sit on the seat but preferred the rear bumper because the seat was bit too tall for her. For the price I think these are great. I think the kids may get more traction on a carpet or sidewalk. Overall though I think these will be used for many years to come.

I highly recommend this product to anyone. My 18 month granddaughter loves it. She rides it for many hours during the day:)

I'm sorry to have to leave an unkind review as I love little tikes toys. This specific toy has actually injured my son. He is 15 months and was playing with the horns on the head part and they sliced 3 of his fingers to which he cant pick anything up with that hand because it hurts so bad, I now have to just wait out the healing process with him before he can really start to use it again. I have sent an email to the company telling them about this in hopes that they either recall this toy or at least try and fix the problem. Another issue I have had is that when my son pushes forward or backwards the wheels run either over his toes or heels. Don't buy this toy! Just wanted to get a warning out to anyone who already has this toy or to someone looking to buy this! Hope this helps!

This was a gift for a one year old. It is great and something that she is able to use now and grow into.
