Combi All in One Activity Walker GT

I purchased this walker for my 6 month old daughter. She loves it!!! It is of decent quality...obviously, it is made out of plastic so I didn't have the expectation that the walker would feel like toys made out of solid wood. However, as compared to other walkers, such as the Jeep one, this walker felt much better and the seat is much softer. The wheels are small, so don't expect it to roll over a plush carpet. I think it's really meant for hardwood floors or berber carpet....it seems like common sense to me, as why would anyone expect it to roll over a plush carpet anyway? The walker bounces enough in my opinion to give the baby a little bit of a jump. Personally, I don't think you would want your baby to be able to jump any higher than what this one does because it is on wheels that don't lock and that would pose a safety hazard. Good design Combi! In terms of liking it, nobody can guarantee what your baby will like, so I would suggest that you go to Babies R US and try it out before you make the purchase. My baby loves it and she rolls all around the living room in it laughing the whole way. I would definitely recommend it...if the price is too high for you, the Jeep is not that bad of an option, but obviously, doesn't feel as good as this one.

We love this walker. It is very cute and well made. It has a lot of features that amuse our baby and keep her attention.

This car is soo adorable! My 6.5 mo old looks too cute in it.

Her ankles/feet were hitting the bar in the back. We took the whole bar off and the car is 100% stable. The front and sides of the base are all one piece, which makes it sturdy without the back piece. She can now walk in it with all the leg room she'll need. It worked for us to take the back piece off, but it is altering the design of the unit, so proceed with caution and use your best judgement.

I don't really consider this a toy. It is a great Webkinz product and the kids really love charms. I bought this specifically because my grandchildren love Webkinz and they also have a real life PUG. So it was not really meant as a toy , but more as something they really care about. In that respect it is very special to them and to me. So it was a good buy.

Wolverine Origins Adamantium Adult Claws Size One-Size

These things are money!!! They are perfect for any Logan/Wolverine costume and are made of hard plastic, which could be dangerous to children. The velcro straps could be tighter but still the best Wolverine claws on the market.

My daughter bought these for my son's birthday/Halloween costume. They were a great price for TWO of them, where most only had one. They are a strong plastic and have been used a lot all ready. His favorite part of them are that they look "real" because they are painted to look like the back of the hand. Great product!

While the claws themselves are farely well molded, the "hand" piece they are mounted on was not appealing to me. I removed the claws and modified them to fit directly on my hand similar to the actual movie props.

These are the next best thing to replica hand props like the ones Hugh wears in the films. They are a little bit uncomfortable over the knuckles (hard plastic "hands") which is why only 4 stars, but that being said, they are very durable. I owned a pair before and they lasted two years easy. One of my favorite costume accessories. Just don't try to slice through vanadium steel with 'em, bub.

Believe it or not, if you are out shopping for balls this size they are VERY hard to find . . . so I was THRILLED to come across these. They are much more fun and interesting than anything I could have thought upI personally was just looking for a pack of plain solid colored balls because my son (9 months old at the time) was obsessed with the ones at his friend's house that come with the "Stand Up Ball Blast" (also by Fisher Price). I was looking only for the balls because he wasn't interested in the "Stand Up Ball Blast." After I took these balls out of the package at home, my son spent the rest of the night crawling around chasing them. He was ENTRALLED by them. He is now 14 months old and still plays with them every day. For more than a dollar a piece, they are a little pricey, but WELL worth it!!! (I only gave 4 stars for durability because they have become pretty stratched up from rolling on our wood floors. I imagine this wouldn't be a problem if you have carpet.) I bought the first set of these when my daughter was 6 months old. At that stage she wasnt into rolling the balls as much as clutching them, shaking them like mad and putting them into her mouth. Now that they are a favorite they are all over my house. She loves to carry them with her, they are the perfect size for a toddlers chubby hands, she enjoys looking at the objects inside and manipulating them. Now she loves to push them and chase them across the floor so I think these are educational and very multifunctional.

These balls have been a consistent favorite of my son's. He loves to bat and chase them (crawling after them), shake them and study them. He has thrown them, rolled them and banged them. Although they haven't broken and seem really durable, they do get cloudy from all the abuse.

One Step Ahead / Dress up Doll, Boy

This is a great doll for little boys. The clothes are brighly colored and it is educational, so it doesn't look "girly." Our son is 2-1/2 and has nicknamed the doll "Ernie." He loves to zip/unzip the coat and to put the hood up/down. He isn't able to do the fastening of the pockets or shoes (it's harder to do when you aren't the one wearing the items!), but he likes to try to get Ernie dressed. (The coat, shorts, shoes, and watch come off. The doll is also wearing non-removeable socks and under clothes.) The ball cap is attached by a thread that could probably be clipped, but I'm not sure the hat would stay on. We left it alone so it wouldn't get lost. Overall, a very cute doll, nice product, and I'm happy with it.

I bought this my my 4 year old, who was having difficulty with zippers and buttons. He liked the boy doll and began to check it out. It has a lot of nice snaps, velcro, zips, ties and such. The ONLY complaint I have is that the button hole is a bit tight. For a little one just trying to learn, it is discouraging when they can't manipulate the button through the tight hole, it could be a bit looser. But after zipping and buttoning for a few days, he was more confident a attempting these tasks on his own. He now buttons his PJ's on his own, although zippers on his coat are a bit tricky still, but he's trying at least.

This little guy is super cool and incredibly interactive. Busy fingers will love the oversized velcro, zipper, and buttons. We bought this toy as entertainment for a long road trip, and he's been worth it so far. Great quality, ships in a plastic bag that can double as a carrying case. I bought these beads for my 9 month old daughter and she just loves them! There are 12 of them and they are grouped together using elastic and they are bigger than what I had pictured. They are so bright and colorful and feel wonderful in your hands. The beads are perfect size for little hands. We take them everywhere we go and I even find my 9 year old daughter playing and handling them as well. Good to slip over your wrist like a bracelet while baby is in a shopping cart or high chair they can still play with them and there is no fear of them falling to the ground.

My sister gave these cards to us when my daughter was first born. I started to show the cards to her around 11 months (yes they are flimsy) and ended up going to Kinko's and laminating them since she liked to bend them. I have worked with her almost every day on them and she now can recognize and say most of the colors and shapes at 18 months! I bought this to lower my daughter's anxiety level whenever we go to the pediatrician's office. Last time we went there, although my baby (20 months) was still in distress, she was curious and gutsy enough to exchange stethoscopes with the doctor. I agree with one of the reviewers that the stethoscope can't be inserted into the baby's ears. I think the toy is cute and my baby plays with it from time to time (she learned how to give me shots and then comfort me; she's really good at role-playing), however I think it's expensive and a bit odorous (I washed the bag, but after a while it borrowed that smell again probably from the wood pieces).

So disappointed in this product. The pieces aren't even close to realistic which is why I wanted to get it. The thermometer is cloth, so you can't wipe it clean after it's been in a kids mouth, the stethoscope ear pieces are also cloth so they don't go in the kids ears (they just flop around), and the otoscope is a bug eye lens so you can't see anything through it. My kid has no interest in it and I'm really sorry I wasted my time with it.

Obsessed with bay Einstein, our child asked for this for Christmas so we searched and were happy to find it on amazon! made so well and is 100% exactly like the one used in the farm episode of B.E. A great gftfits well on an adult hand but the child's hand fits just fine too.

For this horse itself $ 50 you would think that it would have some sort of foam or stuffing so it would keep its shape without my hand. I was not happy with it neither was my son!

My son received this as a Christmas gift because he absolutely loves the Baby Einstein scenes with the horse in them. I was shocked when I looked it up and saw the $50 price. The puppet is fine but not worth $50 and it doesn't look enough like the horse in Baby Einstein my son definately noticed and barely pays attention to it. The horse in Baby Einstein has a white strip in the middle of the body. The eyes are different, face isn't so flat and it has some curls for "bangs". It seems like it wouldn't have cost much for them to include these details.

Under The Nile Organic Cotton Baby Buddy Sleeping Doll - Au Naturelle Tan Stripe

This doll is very cute and is perfect for small hands and arms to hold, and the cotton is very soft. My 3-month-old son loves chewing on various parts of the doll the hands in particular and since it is organic cotton with safe dyes, I don't have to worry about what he's ingesting. It has been through the wash 3 times so far and come out well. It does take a little longer to dry than regular items of clothing since the head, hands and little of the body have stuffing in them.

Update (Feb 2011): My son still loves these, but it does come with a couple caveats. First of all, he sucks/chews on the hands more than ever, so they need to be washed frequently. This means that I have to have multiple on hand so that he can have one while the other(s) are in the wash. The downside to this is that due to the animal print, all of the dolls is somewhat unique. Right now, he doesn't really care, but I wonder if he will notice when he's a little older. If you want to get your child multiple of these as a lovey, I think you would be better off getting one of the solid color ones.

When I first received the doll in the mail, I wasn't impressed and planned on returning it, but with all of the craziness of a newborn, that just wasn't feasible, and so, I decided to give it another chance. It's not soft, at all, compared to other lovies, and it shrunk pretty dramatically after I washed it and started to pick after only a few days. My son really didn't like it until he started the drooling phase, and now he likes to chew on the terry cloth hat, which is pretty great because it absorbs spitty-spit pretty well. It's cute, yes, but I wouldn't recommend it. It also has a really itchy tag that I had to get a seam ripper and take out (that's not shown in the picture). I like the androgyny of the toy, the muted color scheme, and the terry cloth features, but ultimately, it's just not a good texture or shape.

This organic cotton doll is super cute, very reasonably priced and perfect for the smallest babies because it is also fairly small. My 10 month old loves it and chews on its hat. The doll is flattish with a little "tummy" bump in the middle where the head is attached to the body, making it a perfect sleep lovey.

Our four-month-old son loves to teethe and cuddle this little guy (whom we call Waldorf). We don't like overly busy or flashy toys for baby, so we appreciate how docile this "lovie" is. He just had his first tumble through the washer and dryer, and came out looking great. We followed the advice we found here and threw a couple towels in the dryer to assure he'd be dried thoroughly. It's a very sweet little toy, and we plan to purchase more. Highly recommend.

Learning Resources Attribute Nuts and Bolts (LER4318)

I originally bought this for an Alzheimer patient but they showed little to no interest in it. So, I thought I'd use them to amuse my almost 2 y/o grandson. He likes them but finds it hard to decipher that you need to screw the larger bolts into the larger holed bolts. Double whammy. Doesn't really care. Container says ages 3+ so I'll hang on to them and try when he gets older. But he seems so advanced now (screwing and unscrewing lids onto jars, etc) that I'm afraid he still may not care for these at age 3.

Nice thing about them is they can be plugged into each other to stack.

My baby is 1 years old and I am trying to encourage that she uses her hands and develop hand eye coordination. I wanst sure when I bought this that it would be the right size for her little hands and I was worried that I would have to save it for latter because it would be too small, I was worried for nothing because it is perfect for her little hads and the pieces are big so that she cant swallow them in fact they are so big she doesnt even try to put them in her mouth. I like the different size color and shapes of the product because when my baby is bigger this will help her differenciate between sizes shapes and colors. so this toy is good for now and good for when she is bigger too.

I love that this toy can be used obviously to screw & unscrew the nuts from the bolts, but they can also be used for color pairing & color & shape sorting & counting. The pieces are large enough that they don't appear to be a choking hazard (supervise!), & the nuts screw & unscrew easily when the correct shapes are matched. They come in a nice big container but you could always take some on the go as well.
