Fisher-Price - Snap-Lock Beads

Our toddler loves his beads so much that he's got two whole sets! He still struggles to pop them together but popping them apart is a blast...not to mention he still loves to chew on them and of course, throw them! There are no bells or whistles on these beads, they don't need batteries but they last a lifetime. Every child I've known has loved these beads. I'm looking forward to using them to teach colors to him!

I was very disappointed because the item pictured is NOT what I received. I specifically wanted the vintage beads pictured and did NOT want the newer version. The pictures should clearly indicate the item offered. If an item is not available, it should not be illustrated. I am returning them for that reason.

He was much bigger than I expected, but my baby seems very happy with everything about Ratos... especially the vibration feature. If she is grumpy I can just pull his leg to make him vibrate and she cheers up! He has many textures and many different ways to play/eat him. He squeaks, crinkles, vibrates, and has a rattling ring!

I would highly recommend him. Plus he is hilarious looking.

I got Ronoronos at a half-off deal four months ago, when my baby was four months old. It was a hit from day one. He loves the ring the best, especially now that he's teething, but I have noticed that he also likes to chew a little on the softer legs too. One leg has a squeaker in the heel,another leg is a rattle, and another leg is just plain. The tail pulls for the vibration feature, which always makes my son smile.

This is a pricey toy and not machine-washable, but we love it.

I ordered the dog activity toy. It's alright, though over priced for what it is. The worst part is that the tummy part of it is a Super Rough burlap! Who puts a scratchy rought burlap patch on an otherwise snuggly baby toy? I will be returning it and exchanging it for perhaps one of the stuffed animals instead. Rough scratchy fabric does not belong on a baby toy, sorry...very disappointed. So glad I purchased through Amazon, they make returns easy and their customer service is amazing :) Thanks Amazon!

Sun Smart Baby Hideaway Pool

Our son is now 9 months old and has been using this pool through July and August. It is nice and small which makes it easy to blow up with your owne mouth and lungs. It does not take much water but an infant at this age does not need much. It's really a glorified bath for them. Our son sits and plays with his bath toys and maybe crawls around in it a little.

The hood comes off so we fill the pool with water and put it in the sun all morning to warm up the water. We put the hood on in the afternoon to block the sun and he jumps in for his "swim". Very easy to empty onto your lawn when pool time is over.

I highly recommend this to any parents with a 6-12 months old in the heat of the summer. You can't beat the price. Even if you use it 3 times, you are talking less than a session.

We bought this pool because our 14 month old baby hated taking a bath, but loved being in a pool. We use it indoors and let him play around in it during bath time. It's small, but fine for one little one, possibly two. We've had it for a month and it hasn't seemed to lose any air at all. Can't beat it for the price!

Bright Starts Lights, Tiger, Action Rattle

This toy was given to us as a gift. My 6 month old had played with it for a month or so, just shaking it and repeatedly putting it in his mouth. Last night, he was chewing on it and started screaming when his saliva reached the battery and it SHOCKED him. It stopped making noises and basically shorted out. This morning, after it had dried out, it works again.

I don't know how to bring this to the attention of the manufacturer, but it hurt my child and should be taken off of the market!

I gave this to my son for his first birthday. Unfortunately, its not a good learning-to-walk toy because it tips over easily if he pulls himself up on it. However, now that he's 16 months old and walking well, I've given it back to him and he does really well with it. I haven't shown him how to take the blower off yet, I'm afraid he'll get frustrated trying to put it back on. We also haven't taken it outside yet, but it seems like it will do okay. The back tires don't roll on wood flooring, which I thought was strange. So, a little less control if you have a lot of wood flooring--it just slides along.

My 17 month old son loves this mower. He pushes it all around the living room and has had it for over three weeks and is still amused by it (this is rare). It has no electronic component to it and I appreciate that it is one less toy I have to change the batteries in. It makes a clicking noise but is not obnoxious. There is little educational value to the toy but my son likes to mimic me vacuuming and I'm sure in the summer he'll enjoying mowing with dad. The blower component requires some manual dexterity that my son hasn't attempted to master but he likes to attach and detach it from the mower. It is sturdy and well-built and I am happy with my purchase.

LEGO DUPLO 6759 Busy Farm

My daughter got this for her 3rd birthday, and she loves it! Each page has 4 lines of text for the parent to read, and then says, for example, "Let's build Bright-eyed Rooster. What does he say?" The pages each have a detailed illustration of the storyline plus a picture of the blocks used to make each animal. My favorite thing about the book is that the pictures of the blocks are printed to scale. This helps my daughter because she is able to find each block, put it on top of the corresponding picture, and then push the pieces together. The illustrations and the text are good, but certainly not remarkable. If not for the interactive piece

(putting together the lego animals), I don't think it would hold my daughter's attention, much less mine. With the lego-building activities, however, it is brilliant. The way that the reading and hands-on tasks are interspersed is perfect for keeping a young child's attention.

One other thing worth commenting on is the packaging: it comes in a clear plastic resealable bin. I am so happy they decided to package it that way. Otherwise it would be impossible to keep all the pieces together. If your child has other Legos, you will probably want to make sure these pieces don't get mixed in with the others. It would take away all the fun if you had to search for pieces each time you read the book.

I bought this for my newly 3 year old grandson. He can read quite well, but I read it to him, as he was too interested in building the toys to be bothered. The building "instructions" were very easy to follow, but he loved having them to follow. After a few tries, he was able to build the animals without the instructions, but he just liked looking at them. I think this is a great, durable toy because not only is there reading available but also small motor control manipulation, following instructions, and other good stuff. I wish it were priced at about $10 but anything Lego is expensive.

I love these little sets as gift ideas for young children! I adore the combination of a board book with DUPLO bricks! The book is very cute, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed building the different animals, as did their friends (we received sets to try out through House Party). My one critique is that the set shows a person, but does not include any people. I think the addition of a farmer would really complete the set, and make it even more interesting to young children.

I bought this when I daughter was about 4 months old. My husband and I are big Lego fans and wanted to make sure we give our daughter the same experience.

With my daughter learning to grasp, she gains sensory and motor skills. Reading the book to her, encourages language skills. Building the animals will aid with problem solving skills in her future. We can also practice color recognition and animal recognition. I also always throw in a few rounds of "Old MacDonald" to extend the fun and learning opportunities. It's a great learning tool all around.

This is a nice little set to have for young children to introduce them Legos. And the younger they are when you give it to them, the more use they will get out of it.

Moby Clutching Toy

So my 11 month old daughter loves this toy and she has been playing with it for months. Today however I had a frightening experience. She was playing in her play yard and I started hearing a different sort of whining, whimpering than I ever had from her. When I went to see what was going on, she had the fish tail completely in her mouth and behind her teeth. She has four teeth on both the top and bottom, and she could not get it out of her mouth. Luckily she wasn't panicking and I was able to get it out, but she was definitely scared by the experience. I will still let her play with it, but only when I am right next to her. Although the tail is not of choking hazard size, it can get stuck in their mouth if they try hard enough. Just be careful if your baby likes to stuff things in their mouth as far as they can, which mine apparently does. I also took a couple of smaller stacking cups that have a rim around the top which I could imagine a similar thing happening with and put them in the "under supervision only" bag.

Lots of the Haba toys are smaller, and more teeth-able than this one. However, like all the Haba toys, well made, bright, fun. Would have gotten 5 stars if my daughter was older, but for very young ones, try the flatter toys instead

The reviewer who stated this is too large for infant hands is absolutely correct. Moby is colorful and makes a wonderful teething toy, but until my grandson was able to sit up on his own he was uninterested in Moby. Not because it was dull, but because the size was just too large for his little hands to clutch and he is a large baby with large hands!

However, once he was able to sit up on his own, the baby really enjoyed putting Moby's head or tail in his mouth and gumming on the particular end he had chosen. The non-toxic finish on the tail piece has dulled and lightened from his chewing; the adjacent blue ring has also lost the sheen it had when Moby was new. The head is dulling, but the eyes are still fine. The other drawback to this toy is that when a little one decides to shake it vigorously, there is the distinct possibility of clunking either himself or the adult playmate with Moby. Yes, it does "hurt" when you get bopped by Moby!

Moby is a fun toy; but, it would not be my first choice as a gift or personal purchase. Haba toys are well made and have multiple uses. Nevertheless, there may be choices for your little one, other than Moby, which will provide better sensory or play experiences.

This toy is so cute, I almost bought it for myself rather than my son. But it is a great toy for him as well. It is a little more challenging than some of his other toys. It teaches him how to grasp things with two hands and manipulate things into his mouth. He likes it most when he is getting a little tired and is sitting in my lap, needing something quiet to do. I also like that it's made of wood, not plastic, and is something we'll keep even after he outgrows it.

My son didn't get interested in this until he was about 4-5 months old. This toy is probably a little too much for younger babies.

I bought this costume for my baby's first Halloween and I was a bit disappointed with it. It did not look exactly like the item that is depicted in the photograph the peas were much smaller and the colors were off. It wasn't TERRIBLE but it wasn't what I thought I would be getting. The deal breaker for me was when I went to put it on my son who is just under 4 months old and the costume was too short for him. This outfit is supposed to fit children up to 9 months of age and my son is not overly tall (he's 25"). I don't think I will be buying costumes from this store again...

Ordered this direct from Amazon, and was very happy with it. Looked as exactly as shown in the picture. You will see a couple reviews on here about the costume not looking exactly as in the photo. I think this is because they ordered it from one of the merchants on here besides Amazon. If you look at the reviews for some of those vendors, you will see complaints about the product not being completely as advertised, or sold out, or shipped late. Look under "more buying options" and order directly from Amazon, and you will have no such problems. Yeah, maybe it will cost one dollar more. But its worth it, Amazon is so reliable about sending the correct item and on-time. So why risk ruining your holiday just to save a dollar or two?

Costume is very cute, but does run a bit small. It fit our 6-week old baby with some room to spare, but I don't see any way that it would fit a baby that is 9-months old, or 6-months for that matter (depending on whether you read the product title, or the description they don't match one says up to 9 months, the other says 6 months). If I were to guess, I'd say it will fit from newborn up to 3 or 4 months (depends on how big your baby is for their age, of course). And the cap is pretty snug, even on our 6-week old, who is a bit on the petite size for her age, about 7-1/2 lbs.

The material is not the highest quality, but if you've ever purchased this type of costume garment before (such as an adult or kids costume) you know what to expect. Its a light felt or fleece like material, made to only withstand a couple uses. The costume held up fine to a hand washing, and dried flat, since we wanted to wash the costume before putting out baby in it. The peas attach with velcro, which is actually pretty handy, so you can remove the peas, and still strap your baby in a car seat without them getting it the way. And there is a opening in the back, so you can bring the babies legs out of the bunting, which is also very handy for strapping into a car seat or stroller. Overall, we were very satisfied with this costume.

Munch Silicone Teether - 3 Ring

The one star is only because of the design. I am soooo disappointed in this product. I feel this product would work great as a teether if it was just constructed properly. When I first opened it I could see that the edges had excess silicon on it, as if the press didn't cut it all off. Also on two of the textured surfaces there were bubbles in the silicon. With a light scratch of my nail on the bubbles the silicon ripped off. This means that all these little partials of silicon from the edges or the textured surfaces would be ingested by my baby. They are not choking hazards but still I don't want them in my child and they could go down the airway and be stuck in their lungs forever. I can't believe anyone would manufacture such a terrible product for kids ESPECIALY if they are going to put it in their MOUTHS! This is going in the garbage, wouldn't even give it to a dog, STAY AWAY!

I bought this teether for my nephew b/c we received the same one as a gift for my child. My child loves to grab and chew on it. It's very durable. Zoli also makes them in other shapes. The only thing I'd like to improve about it is to make the silicone material a color rather than clear. For young babies, a clear object is harder to see or catch their attention. Even a slightly colored silicone material would be more effective. Also, it's made in Vietnam...for those of you who look for "MADE IN..." info.

My 8 month old son loves this teether. The hole in the middle makes it easy to hold. He loves feeling the different textures on each 'petal.' He kept trying to chew on flat plastic things like my keychain and he likes putting tags in his mouth, so I figured he would like this teether. He loves it! He wouldn't put it down for more than a few seconds the first time I gave it to him. He often tries to carry it around with him as he crawls! I also love the fact that it is BPA and phthalate free. My one complaint is that it's hard for me to find because it is clear. However, HE always seems to find it!

The picture is misleading. It implies that this is a 3 pack of teethers when in fact it is only one item. Had I known, I would have skipped this item and just purchased a BPA/pthalate free teether locally or better, from GreenSprouts, which seems to offer a better deal. I will keep it because I was looking for something healthier than the unlabeled ones, but still there is that lingering feeling of having been hoodwinked.

This was for my son to wear in a school play. Pant Size was not close to a 14, more of a 10-12. Pants were way too small and very thin, even see thru. Used the top and had to buy additional pants.

This was a cute costume that served it's purpose nicely. It's very much on a par with anything you'd buy at a discount store for Halloween. Although it doesn't look like much out of the bag, it looks good in pictures and was the source of a lot of fun playtime for my kids. Just know, it's just the suit, no headband or tomahawk accessories like the picture shows.

I got this toy for my little one's first birthday. It's taken some abuse and held up really well. Selecta toys are excellent, high quality wood work with non toxic finishes that a type-A mom doesn't mind letting her baby chew on. A lot of the other European toy brands are actually made in China, but this one's made in Germany.

When you pull this toy along, the little driver of the car wobbles from side to side because of the uneven wheels and there's also a bell that rings. It's smaller than you might expect, but for a toddler it's the right size.

My son loves this toy! Great for development. Its bright colors and bell hat keep him interested.

When I pressed the heart on the front of the doll, it laughed just like my grandbaby. I thought it would be a doll she could play with at my house, but she hung onto it most of the time she visited and packed it home with her. She loved it!
