My 5 month old has two HABA Pacifier Chains and loves to play with them. He chews and sucks and it entertains him for a long time. Not to mention it keeps his pacifier handy and clean. Definitely buy this, though he prefers the teddy bear one we have. (januari '10)

(March '10)I am updating this review two months later and meanwhile the bottom bead, the one with the heart, has split causing a choking risk. We removed the bead and the rest of the chain is still usable. We are having the same problem with the bear chain, the bottom bead is also about to split. We do use this all the time and it's my son's favorite thing to put into his mouth, so maybe all the drool is causing this. Not sure, but just a warning.

Good product. Wish the string part was longer for easier removal.

This is really just the right size and not easily broken like the plastic ones I used before. I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas to replace the plastic chain I had purchased out of necessity in order to keep track of her pacifier. This pacifier chain is cute and doubles as a fun toy for infants to shake and chew on when attached to clothing. It seems well made and isn't as large as some of the others out there so it doesn't get in the way.

We love this pacifier chain! The clip is functional (unlike cheaper plastic models) and I don't know what we'd do without this on hikes and shopping trips, etc. My daughter also seems to think that the wooden beads are toys and/or teething rings. It is also easier for her the grab the chain and maneuver the pacifier into her mouth than manipulating the pacifier directly. And, it's really cute!

International Playthings Bump'N Go Alien

Not every toy is meant to be educational. In fact, back in the day, most weren't. This toy does "teach" cause and effect but is mainly meant for fun. My girls have enjoyed playing with this toy so that's good enough for me. I didn't give it 5 stars because it's not one of their FAVORITE toys but it has kept their interest since we got it almost a year ago and so I think it's a good investment. It's extremely durable. I've changed the batteries only once so far.

This is a great toy for the little one that is between crawling and walking. Kids just go wild when he takes off and makes robot noises. He will bump off walls and keep going. Great gift idea.

The swim ring is nice and a little better quality than the dollar store variety. You only get 1 of the 3 rings pictured and you can't pick the pattern.

Our two year old twins love playing with these at the beach or kiddie pool. In fact, at the pool, it was really the only toy that got them in the water and moving. At the beach, the play on them, in them, toss them like frisbees, and more. They seem durable, inflate easily, deflate easily, and have cute prints. My only complaint is that we received three of the exact same pattern, no choice was given with regards to a pattern we might like to select, and so we have three of the same thing. On the other hand, my twins don't argue over which tube to play with.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Musical Learning Cow

I was very disappointed with this purchase. The polyester fibers are coming out from the toy (through the colorful feet of the cow). I bought this for my 6 months old son months ago but then took it away until he is not putting everything into his mouth and won't eat or inhale these fibers. I never ever had the same problem with any other stuffed animals. I wanted to return this but I had already threw away the packaging when I noticed this problem :(

Packaging states "learn about colors and opposites" and "sing along with fun songs" .....there are exactly two songs on this toy. One song includes counting 1-10 and other song mentions colors and the words "big" and "small". Age rec should be for up to 18mos.

My daughter got this toy for Christmas when she was about two months old. She liked to listen to the songs and the MOOOOO-OOOO sound. Now she is six months old and she has figured out how to rake her fingers across the cow's belly to make it sing. It probably amuses her that I know all the words and can't help but sing along with it. Like all toys, the educational value of this toy depends on how you, as a parent, interact with the toy and your child.

So much more comfortable and safe than traditional discs, this sled is great for babies. Because it has a soft inflatable back, it's perfect for infants and toddlers. We took it to the snow and my 4-month old daughter did great in it, as did my 16-month old niece. Even my 4-year-old niece liked it better than the other sleds. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with small children. In fact, I already lent it to a co-worker who said his 1-year-old and 4-year-old fought over it. I haven't even gotten it back yet...I bet he's trying to keep it!

My son had the yellow chicken rattle and loved it, so I bought the pink one for my daughter. Now that she is 6 months old and teething this is the perfect thing to safely leave in the crib. It's not the type of stuffed animal that I have to worry about her suffocating on because of the size and shape, but I also wouldn't want to have a hard plastic teether in the crib. This is perfect. She chews on it while falling asleep and when she first wakes up, just like my son did with his. I feel better knowing it's organic and made of safe materials.

This rattle isn't as vibrantly colored as some of the other rattles on the market, but it's dyed with vegetable dyes and I like that kind of natural alternative. The rattle isn't super loud, thank heaven-cause my daughter is able to hold it in the car without the noise being too intensive for me. I have other Miyim products and I will continue to purchase from this brand, as the packaging is beautiful and I like their company philosophy.

I absolutely LOVE this little Giggle Gang toy!!! I bought two of them as the store I bought them from had them at a "buy one get one half off" sale. Bought them for Valentines presents for 6 month old and 19 month old granddaughters. They are a hit! Will bring cheer and lighten any down moods you or your little ones have going.

As I had them in the back seat of my car while driving...they giggled the whole time...and I loved it!!!

This toy would be good for others besides babies. I am planning on buying one for our 6 year old granddaughter as a gift for when she has her tonsils out. Would also be cute for adults who need cheering!

Tiny Love Take-Along Arch

I love that I can tighten this arch to just about anything and it has multiple joints that allow me to manipulate it's placement while it's attached. My daughter loves it. I've attached it to her swing, car-seat, stroller, highchair and I even was able to straighten it and attach it to her crib. I wish more products as diverse as this one would become available.

I give this product 5 *'s and I recomend it to anyone and everyone w/babies.

This arch has a really secure and easy to use attachment mechanism, and some snappy bal joints that let you position it firmly forward and backward, and even adjust the height. I have owned the cloth covered ones from tiny love also with glorified clothespin ends which don't stay attached very well, and can say that this plastic version is much much nicer. To compare, those arches came with musical wind up mobiles which this doesn't, but who needs music on a mobile when you have an ipod.

The toys on this are fascinating to my 3 mo old twins. They both love the rattly ball attached to the propeller, and love spinning the propeller, though they don't quite know how to pull the ball strongly enough to make the propeller go -but they do try, and grab at the ball all the time. They also gaze through the transparent prismatic " sun" plastic, and one of them loves batting at the spinning ball in the butterfly. The extra hanging toys on the sun, and butterfly are hung on with velcro, so later on you could swap them out with other toys that could loop through. I think though that the propellor will go a long way with mechanical minded babies. One toy so far where I wouldn't change a thing.

My son loved this toy for a couple of months, and it fit nicely on our bouncy seat. As an educator, I appreciated the cause and effect concept this toy developed, and my son thoroughly enjoyed playing with it, but because it is dangerous we felt it deserved 1 star. Recently my 3 month old son was playing with the arch and, the string to the fan became wrapped around his finger cutting off his circulation causing his finger to turn purple. Though I was right next to him and looking at him when this happened, it took me a minute to figure out what was happening because he didn't cry. I just happened to notice he was looking at his finger. I immediately unwrapped the cord, and then he cried. He had a red mark around his finger for 24 hours. I contacted Tiny Love and they replied to my emails quickly and offered me free toys, while they looked into the matter. After 11 days, I have no reassurance that this won't happen to other babies, so I wanted to alert other parents via Amazon. Since this toy is meant to go over strollers and activity seats, parents may not always have their attention directly on the baby. Even though I was right there with my child, I felt we narrowly avoided more serious injury if his circulation was cut off for any length of time.

OMG! We LOVE these little guys. I first accidentally picked up the safari animal set on vacation to a little zoo. The animals are so colorful and a perfect size for toddlers. As an educator I love the fact that the names are all embroidered into the sides of each animal. Some of the sounds are a little hoaky, but for this age group it works. It certainly provided hours of interaction between me and my child. Each set comes with its little carrying case, which also is a great size for the kids. These sets have traveled with us many places.

I have to mention the customer service of the company. What a friendly and helpful organization. My daughter wore out her favorite animal (the elephant) because she carried it EVERY WHERE! I called to see if I could buy a replacement and the company sent me one for FREE!!! WOW!

Needless to say we bought every set they have. A year and a half later they are still providing many hours of play and pretend time. My 7.5 yo will sit down and play with them as well as my husband.

This is a very sweet toy that I was pretty excited about myself, more so than my baby I'm sure. She liked the "nemo" fish quite a lot but the sounds the other creatures make caused her to pull a what's happening face! They fish/mammals are soft and easy for the voice box to be pressed by my little one not always the case she played for a little while and was interested a bit but honestly, not one of her favorite toys yet. The little carry case is very cute and handy for keeping all of the critters together. As a collection, I purchased the safari and farm sets and they are also good, my baby LOVES the farm one with the pig, cow etc a little more than this.

I ordered this after I purchased the Barnyard set, which we like very much. I was disappointed to receive the Aquarium set, although the carrier is very cute, the fish did not come with the embroidered names on the side as shown in the picture. I am also disappointed with the sound that the dolphin and whale toy make. They sound very creepy and my little girl looks at them strangely when they make sound. No sound at all would probably have been better. The seahorse and fish on the other hand are much cuter and they play amusing little bubble sounds and a melody. I wont return this because it would not be worth it in the end. Overall, it seems to be a wellish made toy, and I may even go as far to purchase a different one (the Safari set, or Ranch set) in the future. But in the end, the standards are lower than that of their other toy sets, which is why I only gave 3 stars.

Fisher-Price Wheelies Loops 'n Swoops Amusement Park

We're in the stage where we don't have as much energy as we did when we had little children so this is a welcome addition to our "keep the grandbaby and young visitors entertained" collection.

The grandbaby is a bit young for it but that will soon change. In the meantime, friends have had grandchildren and they are eager to visit.

I prefer toys which leave plenty to young ones' imaginations. This does, allowing older babies and toddlers to release their Wheelies vehicles filled with Little People riders down a long ramp. They can see what happens, then experiment a bit and then watch the results the next time around.

There are lights, sounds, and all sorts of moving parts. There is also a ticket booth, mirror, food stand, movable flags,and more. And, of course, the Wheelies cars (two in this set) and their passengers.

If you decide to purchase this, do keep in mind the fact that it does take up some space, being over 2 feet tall. But make room for it if you possibly can. There are so many attention-grabbing activities in this set that toddlers and even babies as young as 14 months remain (miraculously) in place long enough for parents or grandparents to sit back and take a breath.

It sure beats running after an active toddler darting from one thing to another. I've raised our children. I now take a nap several times a week. I also have some visitors who don't always keep track of their children as well as I'd wish.

So I am almost as much in love with the Loops n' Swoops Amusement Park as the little ones. This set and some well placed baby gateshelp keep things as stress-free as I could possibly imagine when toddlers hit our house.

I'm not a total grump and spoil sport. I do like to get down on the floor and play with the kids sometimes. I just have a harder time getting up than I used to. Knees creak. Bones groan. So I'm glad this often needs minimal adult assistance for kids to enjoy it.

You do need to have AA batteries on hand so stock up ahead of time on those. On warm days you can take this outside and on cold ones you may keep winter boredom from turning into utter stir crazy insanity. I remember those very l..o..n..g winter days.

If you're anticipating guests with very young children for Thanksgiving, Christmas or any occasion in between, seriously consider purchasing the Wheelies Amusement Park.

A super contender for a birthday or Christmas gift for some lucky recipient, too.

I left this one up to my 23 month old to review.... I figured his level of expertise in this area is much less outdated than my own. He loved it from day one. I got lazy and didn't build it right away when it came in and he eyed up the box for 2 days until my wife finally put it together for him. I have to add in that he tends to love anything that has to do with cars or choo choos, but he went right for this toy. He figured out how to use it pretty quickly... my wife didn't have any trouble putting it together and it seems to be durable enough that it will probably last for a while. If you buy one, I hope your little guy likes it as much as mine did and thanks for taking the time to read my review.

I bought this for my toddler and he hasn't stopped playing with it. After 1,678,543 drops down the ramps, he has not grown tired of it. This is a big deal, because as many of you already know, keeping a toddler entertained for more than a few minutes can be a task.

The toy itself is very durable. I actually tripped over it this morning pretty hard and it got the best of me. It's solid. It held up just fine. Anyways, the toy is well constructed and very well made. The ramps zoom the cars really fast, which makes my toddler laugh, so I laugh. It is really colorful and fun to look at. It also works fine with almost any matchbox car, minus the loop at the end. This toy is great because it is just the right size to make your toddler feel like he/she is big. Sometimes toddlers need to feel like they are big.

Anyways, I fully recommend this toy. This toy looked pretty cool when I first saw it, and it was even cooler once I put it together. I'm pretty sure your little one will love this toy, so give it a shot. Take care!

The F-P Wheelies Loops'n Swoops Amusement Park is a double-track roller coaster play set. It provides a lot of vehicle action enhanced fun. With this 2-feet-tall tower, in rich color, my grandson repeatedly enjoys non-stop wild rides! With plenty of lights, sounds, and songs to keep him immersed, with the help of their imagination. With just a simple push, instant release of the car's roller-coaster action sends it flying down the ramp.

This review considers the age of active kid who take part, in the set assembly, even partially and can enjoy being a part of this amusement park little-people racing car events. I selected this Fisher Price amusement assembly for my 5 years old grandson, as a birthday present. Oliver is fascinated with cars and trucks, and got trained in LEGO assembly. I presume that his older brother will give him help in tricky assembly steps, under their dads supervision.

I am less convinced this set is suited for a kid younger than four years, who may only enjoy watching and be thrilled with the speedy race on the sloping ramps, that normally boys enjoy more than girls. They will enjoy the sounds, honks and funny songs, even more than the older kids, but the educational value of the assembly will be diminished for a two or three years old. An important part of the experience is: the five years will love running the show!

I agree with park assembly description that, Loops'n Swoops Amusement Park is fun to play with Little People mini cars. Being over 2 feet tall, so the wheelies really zoom down each of the ramps, and above all its 360 degree loop fun, will be appreciated more by the older folks. Being anchored by a rolling ramp filled with twists and turns will in fact decide how durable the park will sustain its assembly durability. But the kid operating it will gain self confidence in addition to the enjoyment of all participants.

This toy consists of two little cars and two ramps. You can't reconfigure the ramps. You can send the cars down a loopy ramp to the bottom (though the car usually flies off the ramp somewhere in the middle). Or you can send a car down a steep straight ramp so that it travels upside down around a loop. It moves very quickly and is hard to see. The cars can race if they are simultaneously sent down the ramps.

Other than that, there's not much else to do. There is a wheel to turn and a button to press to play music. If the car goes all the way around the twisting loop, the car should set off the music. But the car typically flies off the middle and doesn't make it all the way around.

The people are stuck inside the cars. So you can't take them in or out. The set isn't compatible with regular Little People toys. The toy is ok. It didn't hold my 2 year old's interest for long.

i would really recommend this toy, very easy to handle by babies, it gives new music every time they shake it, and there is a in/off button for the music. lovely.

I thought this rattle toy would be perfect for my 4 month old, but I was dissapointed when it arrived & didn't work. The on/off switch was in the on position & the batteries were already dead, and you can't change them out. The reason I'm still giving 3 stars is that it is still a very cute rattle & she enjoys playing with it anyways. I'm just dissapointed that it doesn't make the "magical sounds". Also Amazon is awesome because I requested a refund & they didn't even make me send the toy back, great customer service.

Okay the title is a bit of a joke. Our daughter loves this thing, she couldn't really start using it herself until about six months old. She waves it around, hits it on things, sucks on the rattle part. But this thing has a mind of it's own! I don't know if the batteries are dying or what but I'll be on the other side of the room changing the baby and suddenly we hear it go off! Talk about creepy! Other than that and the fact once it dies that's it (You can't change batteries in Bright Starts items) it's great!
