I got this for my 7 month old daughter and she loves it. Since it arrived and I gave it to her she hasnt put it down. The mirror is a real mirror which means no distortion or blurry-ness. The butterfly on the side makes crinkle noises, if u lift up the butterfly there's a family of bugs painted on it. The lion part rattles when its shaken. Its made of super soft material and is really big.

Well, maybe it's because my baby was around 7 months old when I bought this for her, but she really is not interested in it at all.

I thought it would make a great toy because of the different sides, crinkly noise, and mirror....but nope. It's just not that appealing to her. I still am keeping it for future kiddies, but you can find other more interesting toys out there.

I have a Graco Snugride 35 from 2012 and it doesn't work with the carseat design. The carseat's handle is curved, so the toy is either above his head (unreachable) or the tiger's eyes are about 2" away from the baby's. Not a bad toy (I even like the music), we just can't use it the way it's supposed to be used. I tried to put it on a baby: carseat, stroller, swing, bouncer, and jumper (all popular brands) and the toy bar doesn't work with any of them.

Didn't fit right on baby's carseat so I just attached one side and let it hang down from the top.

I really like this toy. I love the music, it's so catchy! Oh, and my baby also loves this toy too! The only problem is that when you pull up the handle on the car seat, the music goes off while the baby is sleeping super annoying!! There is no "off" switch. It is also too close to the baby, when it is pulled down in front of him when he is awake. He likes to lick on it, which I don't like, because I am sure this toy is not BPA free. It is also super annoying to move the toy up the handle when the baby is sleeping and move back down when he is awake. I almost returned it but then I ended up tying it to his Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumper, Blue and it worked out better because he can still enjoy the toy and it's far enough that he can't lick it. Life so much less annoying and simpler without having this toy on the car seat.

This thing is a lot bigger in real life that it looks online. I wanted something somewhat low profile and not completely obnoxious for my little girl's carseat but this thing is kind of insane and cheap plasticy looking. It also doesn't fit right on my Graco carseat. It is too far away from her or too close. I am sending it back. I think the solution is to just get a clip thing with one toy on it.

Very cute, a little cheap made (sewing), but it is a low price so we are happy much cheaper than making it myself. My son is 18 months, 30 lbs and around 35 inches tall, a heavy and tall boy it is a bit short in the legs but with shoes and socks it's okay, he will not be able to wear it much after a few months, we got the 1-2 years one just in case you are wondering about fit.

My son wore this for his first halloween. It's a little heavy for Florida weather, but he looked too cute to take it off. The snaps for the cape are difficult to put together, but will not come appart easily either. This costume is very durable.

This is a cute suit for a little boy. It seems to be cooler for child. No feet and no head make a big diffrence with this material. My only complaint is that the buttons for the cape and the suit itself are made of plastic and do not snap properly. I don't know why they couldn't put metal buttons just like jumpers and ones. Aside from that which can be corrected it is a good costume for small child.

The entire piece looks like something used from the goodwill. The front is alright, but still isn't what is pictured, the emblem is not at all that size and its embroidered. The fabric looks as if its going to peel after the first wash. And the biggest disappointment is the cape. First off, I couldn't even get the wax paper off the emblem, it's literally stuck to the decal. Secondly, it isn't even the correct emblem... I mean, since when was superman's logo completely yellow? I bought this with full intentions of loving it because my son's initials are DC but this is just awful, he will never wear this junk.

K's Kids Ryan Large Activity Center

I ordered two of these Ryan activity centers for my granddaughters. Before they were walking they did crawl up to it and play with the activities on it and seemed to enjoy it. Now that they are walking, however, and want to sit on it .... it doesn't cooperate. It tips over every time they sit down and is very unstable. I've never seen it stay upright and the kids get frustrated that they can't sit and watch tv on it which is one of the main reasons i bought it.

I bought Ryan as a Christmas gift for my 7-month old granddaughter. She loves to sit on him and bounce up and down and can be entertained for long periods of time with multiple activities. This toy doesn't require batteries, is very colorful, and has simple activities for babies under the age of 1, as well as more progressive activities for toddlers.

I don't understand the positive reviews for this. We don't like this zebra at all.

Pros:

The "activities" are all OK, but they didn't keep our daughter (who was 8 months old when she received it for Christmas) entertained for more than a minute or 2.

It's cute.

Cons:

It's super floppy. Even when she was 8 months old, she was very small (10th percentile), and the moment she leaned on it, it tipped over. There's no way she can sit on it without one of us holding it up. The neck bends right over.

It's really difficult to move. The legs are really floppy and are just barely attached to the body, so whenever you lift it up to move it and set it down, the legs fold under the body. You have to pull each leg out separately from under the body to get it to sit flat.

28 activities? Hardly. They must count each little frill and ribbon as a separate "activity." In all it has maybe 12 distinct objects to play with.

Who names a zebra "Ryan?" Really?!

It lives on the floor of her room and I can't remember the last time she even looked at it, let alone played with it. Do Not Like.

Wonderworld Bouncing Pounder

There weren't many reviews of this toy, so I thought I'd put a few notes out there for those curious. It looks just as pictures; the colors and bright and seem durable thus far. There were a few minor cracks in the paint, but nothing that most people would notice. The only things that surprised me were that (1) the cylinders don't come out quite as high as I might have expected, making me wonder how obvious it is to a baby or toddler's attention span that there has been much change (I would say they change position by about two centimeters, if that) and (2) you do have to apply firm pressure, either by knocking the levers with the hammer or pressing hard with hand to make the levers depress and the cylinders rise. I suppose I should have realized that from the fact that it is called a "pounder", but I guess I was somehow imagining the cylinders popping up quite easily and lightly. Still, none of these are drawbacks in my opinion--simply things that I may not have anticipated. Hopefully this review will help other buyers feel more informed! Overall, I do not at all regret getting this toy so far. My son is nearly 9 months old now, so he only takes the hammer and knocks it on the floor or chews on it and tries to grab and pull at the cylinders without grasping how to make them move, but I look forward to him figuring it out as he grows.

Lukas Doll 12"

The moment my grandson saw Lukas he grabbed the doll and began giving his "baby" hugs and kisses. Our six year old, autistic son is extremely particular about his toys therefore, I hesitated in purchasing this doll from Haba as we were unfamiliar with the nature of their products. Well, Lukas has been in our possession for nearly three months and I may safely say he is worth every dollar spent! The body is constructed of a sturdy canvas fabric and firmly stuffed. His hair is chenille securely stitched into place, and the face is fully embroidered. The outfit is well made from cotton and cotton knit blends with velcro closures. The vest is fully reversible too. Note the image here displays laced shoes however, our doll came with velcro tabs. The toy mouse is an added bonus because he contains a jingle bell, which is very nice as it's not high pitched electronics. 'Mouse' is constructed of plush, cotton and cotton knit fabrics with an embroidered face. On two occasions I have placed Lukas, shoes, etc. into a regular cold water wash with other plush toys and followed that with a low temp. tumble in the dryer for 80 minutes without difficulty; all came out flawless. Overall, this high quality doll is perfect for young boys... no fuss, no frills. I shall certainly purchase Haba toys again.

This is a wonderful doll for little boys. Lucas is adorable and safe. My son holds Lucas as he gets his diaper changed and hugs and kisses him. he comes with a little mouse that rattles with shaken and a little vest you put on and remove. I knew that Lucas was 12 inches long but somehow I pictured him bigger in the size of his body, head, and limbs. My son has a teddy bear that is 12 inches long but looks much bigger when put next to lukas. Anyway, considering that, I feel it was overpriced. we had some 12 to 14 inch doll clothes that I thought would fit lukas but no such luck! My son likes him ok but prefers bigger soft toys like his teddy tear. That said, Lukas seems well made and is really cute just a little too small. If I had seen this doll at the store, I wouldn't of bought it because of the size and price.

What can you say about a stuffed animal? Bought this for one of our children and it looks to be pretty sturdy. Stitching and constructions seems solid. Toy takes abuse well. Probably a good buy if your child (or inner child for you adults) is into Mickey Mouse.

I bought the Mickey plush for my daughter, Mickey is cute, colors are like normal Mickey(red shorts, yellow shoes). Shipping was as stated. I didnt read the listing until after I purchased it so I didnt know that it had crinkly ears and jingle bells in it(I just wanted a Mickey plush and this one was the cheapest one at the time) but I think that is a nice touch, my daughter loves that he makes jingle noises when she makes him jump. His ears are not crinkly though. It does look a little off(mines face was a little uneven but then again what toy isnt). Baby Einstein Discovering Music Activity Table

We received this for a Christmas present. My son continues to love this toy. He now stands up to play it. I would recommend this toy with one important warning. The center globe has a flap or page that his likes to turn. It switches from one mode to another with this turning. Unfortunately, the globe is not perfectly round so that when it is right in the middle, there is an opening and my baby's fingers get caught in it. A few times, he cried and I was able to see it and take it out. The last time he got his finger more severely stuck in it and then fell down contorting his finger in it further. I ran to him by then he was screaming (I was just about 10 ft away); the end of his finger was purple from lack of circulation. It took 10 minutes to calm him, he refused ice so I stuck it in snow while he still cried.

Solution-I was able to remove the flap. Now, he just has that one mode which he still enjoys. He laughs at the duck and bard sounds.

I am online to write to Baby Einstein and tell them of these incidents. I think they and you should know.

My husband just got this for our 11 month old son for Christmas. He loved it! The table slides if you put it on hardwood floor but is pretty stable on a playmat. He spends a lot more time on this toy than other toys. But today when he was flipping the "page" over, his little finger got stuck between the "page" and the smiley face. He didn't know how to get it out and ended up wedging it in further and started crying and screaming. It was stuck pretty tight, I couldn't even push the "page" back up; I thought it would cut his little finger off! I ended up using brute force to pry it out.

My daughter absolutely loves this toy. Plays with it most out of everything. BUT just as previous reviews have stated there is a plastic flap in the center that changes modes which is so dangerous. Your child will most likely put a lot of their weight on this table while standing over it and in doing so they place their little hands right in the danger zone of this flap. Once they go to flip the plastic flap over they can do so right onto their fingers and then not know how to pull their hand out from under it. My daughter not only did this put continued to put more of her weight onto it pushing it harder into her little finger. She was screaming and her finger was bleeding and swollen. Such a nightmare. I ended up having to tape the flap down and unfortunately she now can only enjoy the toy in one mode. I wish they would fix this problem as it is a nice toy. I wrote to the company and hopefully they remedy this issue. I wanted to write this review in hopes of saving another child from getting hurt or if u are thinking of purchasing this item please remove or tape down that flap!

The Ball Popper was a replacement for a similar toy that had been one of my niece's favorite toys. She loves it! The toy was exactly what I had ordered and it arrived by Christmas Eve.

My son is 10+ months and is still a little afraid of this toy. It's super loud when it's turned on. Super cute little plush wand for our little baby girl! She loves it and it's hilarious watching her wave it around. Warning though the sensor to activate the sound is super sensitive! Lassig Mini Backpack

I purchased this for an extended trip and love that it has the chest buckle AND places where I could attach a tether for the airport. This was the right size for his little hands to pull out toys and snacks. It was a staple for the trip and has been his go-to bag for everything since returning home. He's nearly 38" tall and this will likely work for at least the next two years.

I bought this backpack for our 6 yr old who is going into 1st grade this Fall. I wanted something that was not super huge and more manageable than most of the backpacks out there which are made for bigger kids or adults. This is just the right size to fit a lunch, a drink or two and some books/a few small toys/some extra clothes. It's built so that you can expand it if needed, but also its perfect for just a few things if you want to pack on the lighter side.

I actually got this bag for myself because I was looking for a smaller backpack. I came across this one in my search, loved the colors and cute alligator and decided that it might be what I was looking for. I have a two-year old and we are always doing a lot of activities, both indoors and out. Very good quality and durable. Super cute obviously, looks just like in picture. I love the bottom compartment underneath the main backpack space. It fits very comfortably on me and can also tighten to fit a kiddo. It also has a strap connecting the two shoulder straps which helps with the support and keeps the backpack on and in place. It has room for all the essentials if you are going on a day trip or something. Great idea to do family's. My daughter can now just about say kangaroo and she just got the toy a few days ago so decent for education aswell. A bit less durable then the single zoo talkers but not by much, I would highly recommend.

Love my frog pod. Holds all my shampoo, body wash, and toys for my kids. Plus I get so many compliments on it!

Own the suction cup model from Target. Does NOT stay on walls. We traded in the screw in model, because we didn't want to drill into drywall above shower (that's how you get moisture problems) or into the enclosure (ruining it), for the suction cup model. It just DOES NOT hold the weight with any toys in it.

After countless net baskets molding up my toddlers bath toys, i finally took the div and bought this product. Solid thick plastic that dries out the water through the holes on the bottom. Places to hold the soap, poofs and other items a plus. I however, did not install in IN the bathtub, but adjacent to it against the side of the bathroom vanity. My vanity is right along side the bathtub, so the frog petrudes into the bathtub just enough allowing the water to drain over the edge of the tub. This not only allows you to drill into wood (or woodlike material) which is much easier, but it will also never fall ontop your child. If I have time, picture will be added. Toddler Water Table

A toddler water table is a great outdoor toy for 2 year olds. When my son was 2 last Summer, he used to play for ages on the water table, tipping water in and out of different containers. Its a great outdoor play as you don't have to worry about getting any floor or carpets wet and I used to be able to sit down and read a book while he played for a little while on the water table. A highly recommended toy.

Sand Boxes

My son used to love playing in the sand at 2 years old and still does.

Last Summer at 2 1/2 he used to play for hours in the sand box at our local playground.

It's great to have lots of different toys to use in the sand too. Buckets, spades, rakes, diggers and dump trucks were all favorites with my little boy.

Climber

My son loved climbing at age 2 and its great to have somewhere they can climb on in the backyard rather than telling them don't climb on that all the time. Most climbers have slides to come down on. The climber featured opposite by Step 2 is a really good choice of climber for a 2 year old as they can use it straight away but there's a lot of growing room for when the get a bit older.

Slides are also great outdoor toys for 2 year olds. My son absolutely loves going up and down slides. It amazes me how he never really gets bored of it. It's great for burning up lots of energy. He also loves rolling toys down his slides including cars and trucks.

The Step 2 slide featured opposite is a good choice as it has growing room for a 2 year old and it folds away for convenient storage.

Little Tykes Cozy Coupe Car

My son's grandma has a little tykes cozy coupe at her house and my son and my niece (both aged 2 last Summer) couldn't get enough of this car. They loved sitting in it and pretending to drive. They enjoyed moving it around. They liked being pushed around in it. They also had three of these at the toddler group I used to go to and they were always being played with. A great choice of outdoor toy for 2 year olds.

Stomp rockets

Stomp rockets are cheap toys which are extremely good value for money.

At 2 1/2 my son used to love stomping on the pump at the bottom to see how high he could shoot a rocket in the air. All the surrounding adults enjoyed having a go too.

Step 2 Rollercoaster

The step 2 rollercoaster is another fun outdoor toy for 2 year olds. Its easy to put together and most 2 year olds will love riding from one end of the track to the other. It can also be used inside if you have the room.

We didn't have one of these for my son but it looks like so much fun and the reviews are very good on Amazon so I thought it should be featured in this article.

Trikes

2 years old is a nice age to get a first tricycle.

There's lots of options. 2 year olds won't be able to pedal a trike yet but they should be able to push around on one using their feet before graduating to using the pedals for the first time.

You can get one with a push bar so that you can guide the child around before they start pedalling. If not, Fisher Price do some reasonably priced trikes which kids can push themselves around upon. The batman trike features opposite also has lights and sounds for added engagement (as well as excellent reviews).

Fisher Price also do another couple of good options (featured opposite). The rock and roll ride trike can be converted to a rocking toy until the toddler is old enough to convert it and pedal. The grow with me trike has 3 different stages of trike to move along with your child's development.

Quads

2 year olds will love motoring around on the quads featured opposite.

They are designed especially for toddlers with an push button for start/stop and go very slowly (about 2 mph).

They are also low so its easy for toddlers to get on and off by themselves.

Mini Trampoline

2 year olds love bouncing up and down with mini trampolines that have handles.

They can be used indoors when the weather is bad and outdoors the rest of the time.

Lots of fun and it burns off energy too!

Older kids can use them too but most of them have a weight limit.

They used to have one of these at my son's nursery and all the kids loved it.

Balance bikes

Balance bikes can be used for children aged 2 years and up.

They are bikes without pedals. Kids use their feet to give them momentum and push themselves along. Eventually they will be able to coast along too.

2 year olds can pretty much use them right away. They don't need to have the co-ordination or strength to be able to pedal like on a traditional bike. Balance bikes help 2 year olds learn the balance necessary to progress onto a pedal bike too.

Outdoor Games for 2 Year Olds

There are lots of simple outdoor games you can play with 2 year olds.

The toddler bowling opposite is one example and his based on monsters with bright colors and characters to attract toddler's attention. It includes a and 6 pins. A game that can be played indoor and outdoors and with slightly older children too.

Another idea is toddler golf. 2 year olds love to try and hit the ball with the putter.

The LIttle Tikes T Ball set is another great idea. It comes with an adjustable height "T" that adapts to a child's developing skills. There's an oversized bat and ball. It's great for improving hand and eye co-ordination. Additionally it hangs on the wall for easy storage.

Other ideas include a soccer ball and soccer net such as the Little Tikes featured opposite. It's recommended for children aged 2 to 6. Little children will enjoy trying to kick the soccer ball into the net. It also comes with plastic cones to practice dribbles which will be good as they get older.

Or what about classic games such as ring toss. Or play games with beanbags. Toss them at a target. How many can you get into a bucket. Or throw them to each other and try and catch them.

Or just get a ball. My son loved balls at 2 years old. Roll it, kick it, throw it and try and catch and bounce it. My 2 year old used to just carry his ball with him wherever he went.
