It looks cute and that's why I bought it. But after the initial three-minute inspection of this toy when it came out of the box, my boy (9 months old at the time) completely lost interest in it. And no matter how much I tried to bring this toy to his attention over the past few months, he doesn't want to play with it.

They dont hold my 8 month old sons attention very well. They are cute though. Maybe in a few months he'll get the idea of stacking them.

It's a bigger doll than what's actually in the drama but it's just as cute. The bow on the ear and around the neck is a little flimsy but you can always substitute that with a different bow. The only thing I'd like to change are the ears. The wire in each ear is also a little flimsy and I wish that it actually had stuffing in it. But other than that, I really like my purchase.

My son got this for christmas in 2009 along with several other chuck and friends playsets including the garage and firestation. This is the only play set of those 3 that we still currently own and my son plays with it fairly often. It's very sturdy and doesn't have any pieces that are detachable and it folds into a pretty convenient size so I can slip it easily in the closet when I'm rotating toys. It's also pretty easy to use and even when my son was younger (18 months or so) he could easily play with this toy independantly without any frustrated cries for help.

Don't bother with the other "Fold-n-go" sets, my son has the fire station and the mechanics garage in addition to this one. He enjoys playing with them all, but the other 2 have ramps that come off way too easily, so I am constantly having to snap them back on (instead of him playing happily while I get dinner cooked or fold laundry). The quarry didn't look as interesting to me as the other 2, but he enjoys it and it doesn't have pieces that fall off requiring constant maintenance. Bonus. I don't see it holding his attention for much longer (he's 2 1/2 now) but it was worth the $14 I paid for it. WARNING: I have seen this toy sell for as much as $30 and it is not worth that much!

My little boy is a busy, busy dude. I saw this and scoffed at it thinking, "This will keep his attention for about five minutes." My husband insisted on getting it and I don't mind admitting that I was wrong. My 2.5 year old loves this toy. Education wise there's nothing outstanding about it but for some reason he finds this toy a lot of fun even though it doesn't do much and it's the same short reptetitive play. It's super durable and great for him to tote around! I am pleasantly surprised.

Superman Romper With Removable Cape Superman

Very cute, a little cheap made (sewing), but it is a low price so we are happy much cheaper than making it myself. My son is 18 months, 30 lbs and around 35 inches tall, a heavy and tall boy it is a bit short in the legs but with shoes and socks it's okay, he will not be able to wear it much after a few months, we got the 1-2 years one just in case you are wondering about fit.

My son wore this for his first halloween. It's a little heavy for Florida weather, but he looked too cute to take it off. The snaps for the cape are difficult to put together, but will not come appart easily either. This costume is very durable.

This is a cute suit for a little boy. It seems to be cooler for child. No feet and no head make a big diffrence with this material. My only complaint is that the buttons for the cape and the suit itself are made of plastic and do not snap properly. I don't know why they couldn't put metal buttons just like jumpers and ones. Aside from that which can be corrected it is a good costume for small child.

The entire piece looks like something used from the goodwill. The front is alright, but still isn't what is pictured, the emblem is not at all that size and its embroidered. The fabric looks as if its going to peel after the first wash. And the biggest disappointment is the cape. First off, I couldn't even get the wax paper off the emblem, it's literally stuck to the decal. Secondly, it isn't even the correct emblem... I mean, since when was superman's logo completely yellow? I bought this with full intentions of loving it because my son's initials are DC but this is just awful, he will never wear this junk.

My baby is 5 months old and since day 1, he has loved this more than any other toy, rattle, anything he could look at and play with. I don't know what his fascination is with this little book, but this was the BEST money ever spent. He can spend 30 minutes just looking at this, pulling at the things that come out, and seeing what happens. it is amazing! This is a must purchase! This goes with him daily to grandma's house (she keeps him while we work). I thought he would get bored with it, but he is now actually pulling the little animals out of their place. He has looked at this since he we got him home from the hospital. We would keep it on the black and white side a lot.

My baby son enjoyed this toy from his second month up until now, his fifth month. I hang it over the sofa while nursing so that he has a pattern to look at. I displayed the black and white pattern side the first 2 months and in the past month started showing the big eyed animal pictures. My son loves them, he focuses on each of the pictures separately, studies the details and after finishing his nursing he starts smiling and cooing at the little figures. It looks like he has developed some sort of communication with the little faces he sees on the pads. The padded material is easy to display or hang anywhere, horizontally and vertically and is easy to wash. I would highly recommend it for developing a baby's visual skills. It says the black and white pattern is for earlier months and the other side with animal heads is for 6 months and later.

Visually, this toy is a hit with my 4 month old. We hung it in his crib so that he could occupy himself (which gives us a couple extra minutes of sleep in the morning). Unfortunately it does not hang as well in the crib as I thought it would. If you face the black and white side so that he can see it, the ties are at the top and it hangs just fine. However in order to have the colorful animal side face out, the ties are at the bottom which makes the entire thing tilt at an angle. It doesn't seem to bother my son but all they had to do is add a second set of ties and this would be the perfect crib toy.

This is a great item to grab your little one's interest. I have used it in the crib and pack and play to help stimulate him and keep him occupied. It's nice because one side is black and white visualizations and the other side has puzzle like pieces that fit into their homes. We purchased these for our daughter when she was about 18 months old and she has always really enjoyed them! They are a good step up from the simple chunky wooden puzzles and offer a bit more of a challenge to her at this point. She loves searching through the set to find the matching tails for all the animals -overall they are quite entertaining for her! The puzzle pieces are thick & sturdy she's been playing with them for about 3 months now and so far the only signs of wear & tear are on the box the puzzle pieces still look great! And speaking of the box . . . my one small complaint is that the little rope handle that goes over the box lid is so short that it is difficult for us (parents) to open and therefore nearly impossible for our daughter to open hence the ripped lid of the box. But, I guess I don't know if we just somehow ended up with a shorter handle than most of them have. Overall, a very fun product and I would recommend it if your toddler loves puzzles!

We bought this for our daughter's second birthday. She has recently shown more interest in puzzles and can do most peg puzzles on her own. She absolutely loves this. It is fun for her to find the matches, say the animal names or sounds, and put the pieces together. She sometimes needs help, but she can usually put the pieces together by herself once she has a match. This is a nice intermediate puzzle to move her to the next level from peg puzzles to regular ones and a great activity to do together. The pieces are very sturdy, but a child who is used to wood puzzles needs to be watched or they may chew on the pieces.

This is a very beautiful, feminine, girly bank. When I received it I was actually surprised by the size of it as it is quite a large bank. I was really on the fence about this product. My Niece is having a baby and I wanted to get something REALLY special for my soon to be Great Niece. Sophie the Giraffe Squirting Bath Toy ~ Blue

My son is teething and he loves Sophie (so much so that we have several for home, car and diaper bag). He also enjoys bathtime so when I saw this Sophie I bought it. It does look like Sophie, a bit smaller, but is not a flexible teething toy. It's also firm so for my 7 month-old he is not able to squeeze hard enough for it to be a squirt toy--yet. All in all it is exactly what the picture looks like I just thought others should know it's not a good teething toy like the "real" Sophie.

Playskool: Busy Chase 'N Crawl Duckies

Not sure why the poor ducks got such bad reviews. My son loved them from the first time he saw this toy. We started using the ducks around 3 months. I would get on the floor with him during tummy time and roll the ducks towards him. He would light up and get excited as they came towards him. Then he started trying to grab and push them away. Then he started crawling after them so I would say the toy encourages movement and crawling.

The toy rolls very easily and makes a sound as the ducks spin around. It's pretty low-tech as there are no lights or music but it does make sounds and has different colors. My baby has pretty chubby paws so he was never able to get his hands stuck between the ducks. The toy seems to be well-made as it's been banged around but shows no signs of damage. Overall, I would recommend this toy.

This item has not received hot reviews. BUT it does promote crawling. My little guy LOVES to spin the duckies and has started to go try and go after it. He is not yet crawling (almost 8 months) but this has gotten him heading in the right direction. The face plates on each side turn and make a cranking noise which he loves to hear. I would definitely recommend this product!

We got this for our twins as a gift. It is completely useless really. My one son likes to make the duckies spin around but he's bored even with that now. The one side that is purple has an indent for a finger? Like maybe you can wind it up or something but you can't. Really? Is the baby going to know to stick his finger there and spin it because it takes a good deal of force to actually do it. The peek a boo ducky on the other side is a joke. Look! It has eyes.... It has no eyes....woh! Really dumb. The baby really can't do this one either. My twins are 8 months old, we have had this for 4 months and really it is collecting dust. Try something else.

I would never pay $14 for this toy. I picked mine up for $0.50 at a yardsale. That said, I do like this toy. My daughter hates tummy time and will scream if you put her down on her belly. She loved spinning the ducks and actually stayed on her tummy for a good 15 minutes! Some of the reviews about getting hands stuck in it are a bit worrisome, I can see it happening. I'll have to keep an eye on how she plays with it, but anything that keeps her focused during tummy time is a win.

This was for my son to wear in a school play. Pant Size was not close to a 14, more of a 10-12. Pants were way too small and very thin, even see thru. Used the top and had to buy additional pants.

This was a cute costume that served it's purpose nicely. It's very much on a par with anything you'd buy at a discount store for Halloween. Although it doesn't look like much out of the bag, it looks good in pictures and was the source of a lot of fun playtime for my kids. Just know, it's just the suit, no headband or tomahawk accessories like the picture shows.

Wonderworld Natural Shape Sorter

Normally I really love Wonderworld products but the design on this one doesn't seem very well thought out. If your child puts the shapes in the back of the sorter first, the circle & the "L" shape in the picture, they slide to the front due to the slanted base which then blocks the two front blocks, the triangle & square, from being able to fall through their slots. This results in a very frustrated toddler, who knows she's correctly matched up the shapes to their corresponding slots but can't figure out why they won't fit in. This would not be a problem if the company had either: A. not made the box slanted or B. made the box a bit taller so that all the pieces could fit through their slots even if another shape is underneath where that one needs to go in.

I bought this for my Grandson's 1st birthday and when we took the shaped blocks out of the inside the top fell right through to the bottom. The four pegs holding it up are too short so it does not hold the top up so that a child can try to fit the blocks in the holes. I ordered a second one and the pegs were even shorter so the top part fell right to the bottomn again. Great idea but poor craftsmanship.

The doll itself is great but it has a VERY strong, unpleasant smell (sort of like baby powder) that is still lingering after 2 weeks. Every time my daughter plays with it, the smell transfers to her. I would not buy this doll again.

I gave this doll to my daughter on her first birthday. I picked it because I wanted a doll that was simple and soft, yet realistic and had eyes that open and close. I wasn't too sure that I would like it's size... and sure enough a 12" is pretty small. But for the size of my one-year-old it turned out to be perfect. If she were any bigger, than it would be hard for my little girl to hang on to her, especially with one hand. My daughter responded so cute to this gift. She started kissing this doll and hugging her tight and patting her. I love the smell of this scented doll, as well. I know others were turned off by her scent, but to me it just smells like baby powder-ish and is actually one of my favorite things about this doll. Another thing I love about this choice is her outfit. So many baby dolls come in cheap ugly clothing, but this one comes in a quality-made and adorable little sleeper and hat. When the outfit got dirty, I threw it in the wash and it came out great. (I didn't dry it, because I didn't know if it would shrink.) My daughter loves to pull the little hat off and then try to put it back on. Another plus: The soft body of this doll is peachy-colored to look like skin tones instead of just plain white. The features are just cute. She "sucks" her thumb... a favorite option or her pacifer (not crazy about that feature... especially since my daughter wanted to suck on it, too and it fit ALL the way in her mouth... so that was just put away until she's old enough to understand not to do that). This doll doesn't have any hair that tangles or any electronics, just gorgeous blue eyes, beautiful and sturdy eyelashes, cute toes and enough sweetness to win any girl's heart. I would recommend completely as long as you put up the pacifier, don't mind a scented doll and are happy with a bit smaller size than the average doll. Thank you for reading my review. Doll is cute with pillow body and plastic molded arms, legs and head. Eyes don't really close fully when lying down. Outfit is cute.

BUT the smell is so gagging I feel like throwing it away. I see some people calling the smell "faint" which to me means there is a problem with the perfume sprayer at the factory and some dolls get an extra heavy dose of the stuff while others actually have a faint smell.

Either that or some people just don't have a very good sense of smell. I enjoy cooking and tasting small variations in different foods and drinks, and I can really tell the difference between cheap and expensive perfume, so if you are a like me I recommend you get a different doll.

Because our doll is so grossly overscented, the perfume transfers everywhere. I tried scrubbing her clothes and the scent still lingers there, and the clothes are irrelevant anyway because her pillow body is embedded with it.

Yuck.

I was debating between this doll and the Corolle. I was so afraid that the scent would not be pleasant from some reviews. I went ahead and ordered this anyway and am completely happy! Smaller which is perfect for my almost 2 year old, but my son who is 3 loves it too. Sits up nicely which is a plus for the shopping cart we have. Smell is lightlike baby powder (I am already sensitive to smell, but being pregnant even more so now). Not sure what others are complaining about. No bad smell on my daughter either from itI actually expected to deal with some sort of bad smell, but seriously, nothing bad. Also, if I spent $20 more on a doll this small, I would of been upset. Too high of a price tag for a doll of this size$15 is right on. The You & Me clothes are perfect and the pacifier fits as well (Toys R Us). Baby is a lot cuter than many I have seen and the body is sturdier than most in stores while still being soft. If you like to over investigate like me, save your time and just go for itnothing to lose for this small of a price tag and free shopping. Wish they had a boy version or another doll that looked different so I could buy more.

I purchased this soother (new) for my 4 month-old as a change from his overhead music mobile.

~PROS~

3 different time settings:

1) lights w/ music/sounds, and movement for 6 minutes

2) lights and music/sounds for 12 minutes

3) music/sounds only for 18 minutes.

real water bubbles in the soother which is pretty neat.

3 sound types classical, lullabies and rainforest.

3 sound levels high, medium, low.

easy activation by the press of a button on the face of the unit.

~CONS~

The lights are way too bright to be a "soother".

The straps that hold the soother on are difficult to use. Once it is one it's sturdy and not going anywhere though.

More bubbles would be nice as there aren't that many.

Uses batteries pretty quickly if you use this soother regularly.

~CONCLUSION~

Other than being too bright it is a welcome addition to our son's collection. I consider this to be more of an "entertainer" than a "soother" due to the brightness of the lights. We still prefer the:

Fisher-Price Precious Planet 2-in-1 Projection Mobile and use it more than this soother.

I love the product. When I got the package here is what I found.

-water leaking out of it

-dirty had to clean it up and get marks and strange sticky goo off it

I bought it under the premise of in good condition. I would say it was certainly less than that. Luckily, I cleaned it all up and my son loves to look at it at night before he goes to bed.

Haba Croo-ak Clutching Toy

I feel weird saying that it's only three-stars for education, because at four-months, isn't everything educational to a baby?

Anyway, this toy is very cute, but it is small, so check the dimensions before you order if you're expecting something bigger. It's a little expensive, but worth it to me. like the design and the bright colors. My daughter enjoys chewing on wood, and I enjoy knowing that she's chewing on something made to EU standards, so it isn't nearly as likely to be toxic as her plastic toys from China.

Amazingly, this froggy is my 9 month old son's favorite toy. He has a mountain of toys to choose from, and he always picks his froggy friend. He loves to shake it like a rattle and chew on it's arms. This toy is a lifesaver and I would recommend it to everyone.

UPDATE: My son is now 2 years old and he STILL loves this happy little frog. I saw some reviewers mention that they were concerned about the arms possibly being a choking hazard, and I would like to say that they are still as tightly attached as they day we got it! This toy is definitely going in the keepsake box for my son! it's so well made, I'm pretty sure my future grandchildren will play with this toy!

I took my son to the toy store to pick out a toy, and this is the item he picked. He loves shaking things (he's 10 months) and it makes a pretty great sound. The core of the frog is elastic, so when he's older he'll be able to stretch the toy a bit too for additional entertainment. I like that the HABA toys are made in Germany to EU standards; it makes me feel better about him constantly putting it in his mouth. I don't know how educational it is, but he certainly seems to enjoy it and it seems as though it will last a long time.

We recently bought this toy for our 6 mth old son. It shipped very quickly. I was a bit surprised by its small size when it arrived, however, now we realize that it is the perfect size for an infant to grasp and play with. Of all the HABA infant toys we have purchased so far, this is my sons favorite! Our 6 month old LOVES laying on his back and sucking on the frogs "arms". He makes the cutest noises while doing so, and even manages to put the frogs head in his mouth. This toy is very cute, durable, and a totally unique toy to most infant (plastic) toys out there.

The Deglingos Treasure Pouch

I purchased Jambonos the Pig treasure pouch as a Christmas present this year, because we have the full size Milkos the Cow and Klukos the Hen and love them. The little girl who received it seemed as thrilled as I hoped she'd be (this may also have been because of the money she found inside!). The quality of the whole Deglingo line cannot be beat. They are made with soft corduroy and other eclectic fabrics, giving each a unique handmade feel. This adorable pouch is just the right size for spare change, folded bills and credit cards. Or keep other trinkets, like marbles, etc. I will buy these toys again and again as gifts and will continue to add to our own collection as well.

My boys, 3 and 5 LOVE this toy! It's easy to use, they seem to find it realistic. It is a bit noisy, so if loud toys get on your nerves, this may not be the best choice, but they kids love it! It's been dropped several times on hardwood floors, and there is no visible damage so far. We've had it about 6 months, and it gets played with several times each day.

Corolle Les Classiques Classic 12" Baby Doll (P'Tit Ange)

We love the doll. It was for our daughter's 2nd birthday. We specifically chose a doll with eyes that will close and absolutely no battery packs. Our daughter loves her "baby". Only downside for us is that it's hard to find accessories like clothes or bottles for a 12" doll. Target and other places sell items for 14", but most sell 16" or larger.

btw, the newborn size baby diapers fit perfectly!

After reading the reviews and the description I thought this would be a good size for my four year old. Well it's just too small. Doll has great scent, well made but it seems no matter has small your girl is they want a life size baby. I purchased this doll because it wasn't made in China.
