Item is as described: is basically a larger sized ball with nubbins on it that are easier for a little one to use when grabbing a ball. I didn't find the points particularly sharp. It's a good starter ball to throw around the house when you have a kid learning to toss around a ball. The picture on the box even shows a kid sitting on his ball (it'd be small, but they could do it), and I could see it standing up to that kind of abuse. Seems durable.Tuesday, July 8, 2014
Tiny Love Developlay Activity Center
Well, not so much. The supposedly simple side for younger babies features a musical smiley face button and a squeaker that require LOTS of force to make them work. My son is now 7 months old and he still can't operate them. (But he CAN use the little squeaker on the other side!) The knocker with the rattle also needs a lot of force, and even if you do manage to move it, it hardly produces any sound as it only moves a fraction of an inch. The two spinners are great and he loves those, but you can get those on any activity center. The unit is quite tall, and so far, whether lying in his playpen or sitting on the floor, he can only reach these bottom two toys.
On the other side, the toy that pops out and giggles is a lovely idea but we just can't get that door close and STAY closed. I went to a store and tried every one on the shelf and they all had the same problem. So he can't play with that feature either, really. And you need to move the lever for the spinner just so, at the right speed and with the right amount of force if you want the disc to spin.
Then, most disappointing of all, there's the music. The horrible, frenetic, tinny, nasty music that was such a shock after having the Symphony in Motion mobile. It sounded so bad that I was sure the batteries had run down, but even after replacing them it sounds the same cheap and incredibly irritating. As did all the other models in the toy store.
On the plus side, the toy is really solid, made of good quality plastic, and the colours and the design are lovely and bright and attractive.
It's outrageously expensive I live in Europe so we paid about $75 for it especially considering most of the activities are useless. I'm quite annoyed that poor old Grandad shelled out so much money for it, and didn't keep the receipt. We actually get more fun out of the old FP activity center we bought on ebay for a couple of dollars to keep at Grandma's. Lesson learned new and expensive isn't always best!My wife bought this Activity Center because we love the Tiny Love toys, and with this one we were not disappointed. Our son plays on this for hours, both sides. We were somewhat disappointed that more than just two songs are available, and after time, you will be humming them in your sleep. The only concern I had with this toy was the two small yellow plastic loopholes on the bottom of the toy. While flipping it over, hung or not on his pack and play, one of my son's fingers would get stuck in the hole and he could not figure how to remove it tight fit. He would then panic and bend his finger back, causing him to cry out in pain or distress. I removed the loops and filed them down so this would not happen again. Not sure why they are there. Despite this, this is a great toy.

We've had this toy since my daughter was 3 months old & she's now 7 months old. We love it. She loves to push all the different buttons & listen to all the different sounds it makes. It's very colorful! My daughter will sit in her crib & play with this toy for a long time after she's woke up from a nap or in the morning. It's wonderful b/c you can hang it on the side of the crib or put it on the floor for her to play with. I would recommend anyone to buy this toy.Read Best Reviews of Tiny Love Developlay Activity Center Here
I bought this for my son about 3 months. This was the lowest recommended age on the product and he had just moved into his crib. I thought he would love to play with this while he was in there. He didn't, even with my encouragement he would just look at it for a few seconds. Now though at about 8 months he enjoys it. I do like the fact that it grows with him. The first side is for 3-9 months and the second side is for 9 months and up. I love Tiny Love products, but they may need to adjust the age on this one to 6 months and up.Want Tiny Love Developlay Activity Center Discount?
We've received this toy as a gift from our friends and i liked the idea of 2 sides (is like having 2 new toys at once). But then, when we tried playing with it i didn't like several things:1) side 1
has a really hard to squeak thing,
hard to pull hammer
pretty far located smiley face so the baby playing with it as an activity table (not crib mounted) won't easily reach and press it
smiley face could have more than 1 melody playing
It results in that side having only 3 things to play for the baby at 6-8 months: spinning flower, spinning ball and a mirror
2) side 2
the most i don't like in this toy (both sides) is the music of those 4 musical instruments buttons. It sounds not like it's a baby toy but like it's some kind of tool to horrify the baby. We have pretty much musical toys and none of them has the music which is soooo unpleasant. My baby just looks at tose buttons as she looks at strangers she doesn't like.
pop-up thing could have a better holding door (opens easily) and prettier "animal" inside.
the squeaky knob on this side is hard to push even for me.
To summarize i'll just say that as for me even 2 sides are not worth the money!
I don't like it at all!

Slinky Dog Retro
She loved the fact that there is a real toy with a real metal slinky.
The toy cant really 'walk' with the string on carpet but does pretty well on tile floor.
Its not an everyday toy because the Slinky can kink.
Once the toy is done it makes a great show piece my niece doesnt put it away in the closet she keeps it displayed on her bookshelf and takes it down from time to time.
Overall, a happy purchase.my daughter loves the newest addition to her toy story family. he's just as described and has held up great through daily play i loved the retro packaging too. if your child loves all things toy story...get them this slinky dog.Gave to my 2 year old who loves Toy Story I'm sure it won't last forever but he loves it. Has little wheels on the bottom of the feet so it's not being dragged round.I got this for my 9 year old who is a dog lover. After reading the other reviews, I was hesitant because they all talked about how it is cute, but not really mean to be played with. But after receiving it, it is more durable then it seems IF it is played with correctly. The string is way too short, but I think they do that for safety reasons. My 9 year old plays with it daily. She takes it for walks and very much enjoys it. I did give her the warnings about it being fragile and easy to break, So when not playing with it, it goes back in the box. Good toy for older kids, or more serious minded kids.

Jeep Backpack Harness, Puppy
Buy Jeep Backpack Harness, Puppy Now
This puppy backpack harness is super cute and huggably soft. We first introduced it to our daughter as a doll and she would hug it and pat it because it was so soft. Then when she started to walk, she was thrilled to bring her favorite puppy dog along. Great idea and great execution. The "leash" part is also plush, which is nice. It tucks into the backpack when not in use. I wish it was a little bit longer, though (it's about 4 ft long I would guestimate). Backpack straps are adjustable, though maybe too easily. The only negative is that the shoulder straps are not plush and can irritate my daughter's neck. Luckily we started using it during winter so usually she has a sweater or a jacket on. Other than that minor complaint, we use it all the time and always get compliments about it. Most importantly, my daughter loves it and likes wearing it when we are out.Read Best Reviews of Jeep Backpack Harness, Puppy Here
This is a very cute way to keep track of my two year old. We just got it today. However, I am very disappointed to see that the front clasp on the harness doesnt stay closed. I dont know if this is faulty craftmanship or what but not happy that now I have to go through the trouble and mail it back.Update: after spending 10.70 to return the faulty item priority mail I received another one as requested. The one that was sent to me has a clasp that has the same piece on each side. It is impossible to close. I dont know where this seller got their product but this is ridiculous. I wont purchase from them again. When my harness arrived, the zipper had not been sewn properly so I had to repair it myself. Then the zipper fell off. The quality control dpt was asleep on the job. I had to throw it away.

Melissa & Doug Pretty Purse Fill and Spill
Buy Melissa & Doug Pretty Purse Fill and Spill Now
As previous reviewers have indicated, you cannot dump the contents of this little purse. The opening, although somewhat small, is a fine size for small hands. I didn't feel that the fact you can't dump out the contents detracted from the fun at all. My 16 mos old loves this little purse. She is at the age where she enjoys emptying and refilling containers. Really cute toy, a little pricey, but a sweet gift for a toddler girl.Read Best Reviews of Melissa & Doug Pretty Purse Fill and Spill Here
I got this for my daughter who was 16 months, and she plays with it once in a while, but I would recommend it for a younger child--maybe 9-12 months? It is really cute, and seems durable, like most Melissa & Doug products, but it doesn't hold her interest for long. The sounds and textures would have appealed to her more earlierThe opening is too narrow to fill or spill. My daughter received this as a gift for her 1st birthday, she is 17 months old now. She has tried playing with it a few times, but gets bored quickly, it can't be used as intended. Mommy has a hard time using it too. The only part of this she likes is the phone, she likes to walk around pretending to talk on it. But she'll do that with just about anything, so it's not a great selling point.Friday, February 28, 2014
Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Music Player
+ Good Songs: Not only does *she* like them, but they are comparatively good for a children's toy. There are enough of them that the repetition isn't overly grating.
+ Lightweight: My daughter is easily able to carry this toy around with her, whether walking (unsteadily) or crawling.
+ Baby Friendly Design: The handles make the toy easy for her to carry. The buttons easily allow her to skip songs and/or to repeat her favorites. (The handles also make it easy to attach it high chairs/play pens/car seats if you have plastic ring links, which can usually be found in the baby section of most department stores.)
+ Durable: In two months it has withstood a tremendous amount of toddler abuse (i.e. flinging, banging, chewing).
+ Off Button: This toy comes with a recessed "on/off" switch on the back that tiny fingers can't manipulate. (Which is why this is one of the few toys that we haven't removed the batteries from.)
+ Entertaining: This toy distracts her when she is cranky and entertains her in boring situations (i.e. car rides). It really is developmentally appropriate for young toddlers; it holds her attention so much longer than similar electronic baby toys.
I really cannot recommend this toy enough. I'm not a huge fan of plastic/blinking/noise making toys, but this is one that my daughter really enjoys. The Fisher-Price Learning Music Player is one of the few toys that I'll actually search the house for when it has been misplaced. This is simply the very best 1st toy for a baby, PERIOD. If it seems a bit expensive, believe me it's worth every penny in happiness and satisfaction for a little one! If you only have a limited amount of money to spend on toys for your baby, please get this toy. It's so much learning and fun in one package and is lasting enjoyment for YEARS whereas other toys are limited in scope and don't entertain or last even half this long!
I bought this for my great grandson when he was first born and played it for him. He's played with it continuously since then...it was always the favorite take-a-long toy when going places in the car. He likes it in his bed and takes it all over the house. He's 20 months now and it's still one of his favorite toys. He bounces with the music and tries to sing along with it. He has some favorites...Row Row Row your Boat and the ABC song. When very small, baby can press the big button easily to play it and later they can press the smaller buttons and change the sequence of the songs...play them over and over, etc.
We call it his "radio". We wanted to find a wind-up Fisher-Price radio like the ones we bought our daughters when they were little, but couldn't find any. Instead we found this and weren't sure whether it would be as good, but it's been GREAT! It is VERY durable, having been thrown on tile floors and out of the crib numerous times, but has never failed to play. It goes a long time on a set of batteries too, which is nice. Also like the volume control for when he goes to bed and wants to play it...it doesn't have to be so loud.
Finally, with kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, the very best toys with the most lasting enjoyment have always been FISHER PRICE toys!

Both my 3 yo and my 11 mo old love this toy. I think I got it for them when my youngest was about 4 months. My 3 yo sings all the songs. I gave this to my nephew for Christmas and he loves it! I thought his parents might think it was too noisy, but they are happy with it, and said it is great for a toy to take with him since it is so entertaining but small and easily portable with no parts to lose.Want Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Music Player Discount?
We bought this for our daughter who always wanted to play with mommy and daddy's ipods. It worked for the most part and our daughter loved to dance along to the 9 short tunes preloaded on it. Unfortunately, it recently broke and even after daddy took it appart and tried to repair it there was not apparent break. So it's fine when it works, but that's not for long. I'd say it's worth about $10 but not really $20.Monday, February 24, 2014
Fisher-Price Peek-a-Blocks Tumblin' Sounds Giraffe
This toy holds his attention for quite awhile, and he'll seek it out. The cubes themselves are great fun for stacking like blocks. They also stack along the back side of the neck of the giraffe on a little holder at the base.
Put a cube in, watch it fall. Put a cube in, watch it fall. He LOVES it. There is also a door at the bottom that needs a good push to click shut to prevent the cubes from exiting great for storage of the 5 blocks.

We have several sets of peek-a-blocks and my daughter, husband, and I love to play with then all! The Giraffe was a great addition to the set. In the beginning my 6 month old daughter couldn't drop them in herselt but loved to pick them up after her we did. At 7 months now she will occasionally drop a block in herself. This is yet another fabulous product by Fisher-Price!Read Best Reviews of Fisher-Price Peek-a-Blocks Tumblin' Sounds Giraffe Here
My son received this toy for Christmas when he was about 8.5 months old. He really enjoys it, even now at 10 months old, and loves dropping the blocks (and anything else that will fit!) into the giraffe to watch them come tumbling out. The blocks themselves are miniature works of art (as are the other Peek-a-Blocks) and my son often plays with them and forgets about the giraffe. At first, however, he was very frustrated when putting the blocks in the giraffe because it would fall over at his slightest touch. By now he's figured out that he has to be more gentle with it so it stays upright, but I wonder if Fisher-Price could have made the giraffe a little wider and stouter so that it wouldn't topple so easily.
As to the blocks themselves, some of them do indeed have components that a small baby could never use. One block features a cute zebra, and on the bottom there is a dial that you can turn to make the zebra spin around inside the block. This dial, however, is very difficult to turn, and was impossible even for my 2.5 year old nephew to operate. In the main, however, the blocks are very cute and entertaining for babies, especially the ones that make noise when you shake them.
Overall, my baby has fun with this toy, but to be honest he has just as much fun with his regular Peek-a-Blocks, which cost about half the price of this Blocks + Giraffe bundle.

I bought this toy, along with a bunch of the blocks, for my daughter's 1st birthday. She's 19 months old now and still plays with it every day. As a matter of fact, our 2.5 year old loves to play with it as well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars all the way across is because it tips over pretty easily, which frustrates younger kiddos.Thursday, February 13, 2014

Fisher-Price Infant To Toddler Swing in Red
By the way, I read the 'upside down' post. I was concerned and tried to turn mine upside down without a child in it and the ropes are balanced that I could not turn it even empty. That family may have had defective ropes or it was installed improperly...This is the best swing out there. Best features:
-ability to adjust back as baby grows and wants to sit more upright. Many other swings sit back way too far and my baby didnt like that at all!
-ability to remove the tray makes for ease in taking baby out
-VERY SAFE...3 point harness, in addition to the tray that comes down.
-length of ropes is perfect...not to high or too low!
Overall, I dont think you will find a better swing with all these features.

I bought this swing second hand at a garage sale and have never been sorry. My mother's bought a number of swings for her 4 other grandchildren, and this one is by far the best we've ever had. The swing is easy to adjust, easy to get open and get baby into, and easy to close. My daughter was born in May and we have used the swing since July. We've brought it in the house, put it on the front porch, back porch, and hung it from a ladder when we've had to. This swing has been a wonderful calming source for my daughter. There were times when she didn't want a thing to do with the graco indoor battery operated swing, didn't want anything to do with us, didn't want to be alone, but when placed in this swing, all was well with her. I recommend this swing to anyone with a child under the age of 4.Read Best Reviews of Fisher-Price Infant To Toddler Swing in Red Here
We loved this swing last summer when my son was under 12 months old. My little guy is a peanut and I thought it would last a while, however, as he began to move around he was able to flip the swing. He was just over a year and leaned forward as far as he could and the whole thing flipped over. Needless to say we took it down immediately. We are now looking into a Step 2, 5 point harness, toddler swing. My daughter is 5 months and loves this swing. We added it to the swingset we have. It installs easy. It is easy to get her in and out of. She looks comfortable in it. It has a nice buckle and it has a tray in front for snacks or toys. It reclines back which is nice since she can't sit up straight yet. I highly recommend this swing. My swingset came with a bucket swing, which is too big for her. I looked at several other swings, and I am pleased with this one!
