Tiny Love Musical Nature Stroll Toy Bar

I purchased this stroller activity toy bar for my active baby boy when he was 3 months old. He took to it immediately, and within a minute or so started pulling on the little strawberry-shaped pull that activates the spinning propeller. The spinning propeller has decals on both sides so it's interesting from either side. He loved looking through the Lion "Prism", he'd look through and smile and laugh. He loved spinning the Parrot spinner, at 3 months, it was totally his skill level so it always gave him something active to do to distract him from being frustrated. At the beginning, I set aside the little musical mirror that hangs from the Lion Prism, mainly because the music is on the loud side, it activates itself when it hits something, or you press it, and without fail, it was always went off once the baby fell asleep. There's no way to adjust the volume level or even turn it off. Now at 14 months, we enjoy playing with the musical mirror, just not on the stroller....

How does it fit onto the strollers? Place the little blue clamps onto a spot on each side of your carseat/carriage. Turn the orange twist knobs, they tighten down the clamps. The whole thing has four bend points across the arch (after each toy) so that it can be moved and adjusted into a number of shapes.

Strollers: I used this for six months on my Graco Snugride carseat/Graco Snugrider stroller combo, it tightens on fine. Then I moved it to my Peg Perego Pliko P3, where it also fits fine. On the Graco it was useful because it forms a frame so that I can drape a nursing cover over the existing sunshade and the Toy Bar to extend the sun shade like a little tent over him so that he was completely out of the sun and could sleep in peace.

We still use it at 14 months on the Peg Perego to do the same thing, and it forms a little tent in from of him (desert sun....) but he can still look out to the side as he's falling asleep, so the Toy Bar prevents him from losing his entire view....

Travel: This was useful to have on our carseat on the plane when we took quite a few long flights.

Compare to Tiny Love Sunny Stroll Toy Bar: It's much better than Tiny Love Sunny Stroll Toy Bar (which we also own): If you're deciding between the Musical Nature Stroll and the Sunny Stroll Toy Bar, then definitely buy the Musical Nature Stroll (even if it's more expensive...) A few reasons:

1. The Strawberry-shaped pull that activates the spinning propeller is much easier for a young baby (3-4 months) to grasp vs. the Sunny Stroll rattly-birdy shaped ball. On the Sunny Stroll, he almost never pulled the propeller, on the Musical Nature, he was always playing with it.

2. Musical Nature Stroll includes the little hanging mirror that is also musical, which we still have fun with today (although as a minus, there's no way to shut it off....see above). The Sunny Stroll mirror isn't musical. The mirrors are plastic on both, he never really looks in them as mirrors.

3. The little Lion "Prism" on the Musical Nature Stroll was always captivating for my baby, I think he likes Lions. He never showed the same interest in the little Sun Prism, the shape or the colors just aren't as eye-catching.

4. The Musical Nature's Parrot Spinner, again, is just that bit more interesting. The little butterfly hangs from it. On the Sunny Stroll, there's a Butterfly Spinner, and then a butterfly hanging from it, and it always strikes me as being a bit boring, because it's a butterfly with a butterfly, i.e. the concept is duplicated.

Overall, the Musical Nature Stroll was one of the best purchases we made. It's very adjustable and versatile and we still use it on the stroller in conjunction with a cover to keep the sun off the baby.

This is a really cute toy. My 5 1/2 month old daughter seemed interested in it when I took it out of the package. Unfortunately it didn't fit on my carseat (Britax Boulevard carseat sides too wide) or stroller (UppaBaby G-Luxe bad angle). I had to return it.

We bought this for our son mainly to use on long car rides. The item is well made, the colors are perfect, and we love being able to pretty much bend it any way we want. When we first got it, he was about 11 weeks old so we just attached it in the most upright position and he would just stare at it. Now that he's older, we set it a little lower so he can grab the attachments and use his feet to play with it. He grabs and chews on the butterfly and the rubber strawberry. Pulling on the little strawberry makes the fan spin. He also kicks at the mirror in the middle. If he kicks it hard enough, it plays a little tune. You have to hit it pretty hard to get the music to play though so it's something for younger babies to grow with. I like that it has two rattles, one inside the bird and the other inside the back of the mirror. So, when we're driving he always has some noise keeping his attention even if he's not actively playing with the toy. It's also great for getting his attention when he's being fussy about being placed in the car seat. Once I place it over the car seat, he instantly quiets down and starts playing with his toy. He loves it and we do too!

Encouraged by the positive reviews I purchased this activity arch for my son when he was 6 weeks old. He was quite alert baby from the beginning and he loved staring at the colorful toys attached to the bar, especially at the spinning propeller. Now he is almost 4 months old and I think now he can fully appreciate the versatility of this wonderful toy! I do not want to repeat the detailed description of the toy bar as it was already depicted beautifully in other reviews. Let me just say my son loves grabbing the hanging music mirror, squeezing the rustling butterfly and staring and touching lion prism, pull the propeller rope. This is a really great product!

Few good features: the musical mirror is fun for my 5 month old son. It scared him the first time, it's a little loud! He wants to put it in his mouth more than look at himself though! Munchkin Fun Ice Soothing Ring Teether, Colors May Vary

Almost every teether says that you cannot put it in the freezer (although most just ignore this and do it anyway) This is because they have water inside and when the water freezes hard, it expands and can damage the teether and/or cause leaking. I have just now found this teether and it has gel inside so it doesn't freeze hard. you can put it in the freezer and it gets super cold for your babies gums but not hard. And the box actually recommends use in the freezer. A "must have"---My little guy already has 6 teeth but he carries this thing around anyway.

We have the Munchkin Fun Ice hand shaped teether and my friend has this ring teether. It's a bit big yet for my 4 month old but I plan on getting one. Her one year old LOVES hers.

I have this fantasy though, that somewhere out there is a teether you can freeze but that has a detachable handle that's not frozen so they can hold it without getting too cold. Of course both parts would have to be safe (not choke hazards) on their own, thus clicking together in some clever way.

I had purchased this for my son last Christmas for a Friday deal here. I paid so little that I wanted to give it a try.

It is very cute and Winnie talks through the music as he walks with his pop along toy. One negative is that he head is a bit heavy and he ends up on it pretty often. My daughter received this kitty as a gift for her 1st birthday and she absolutely adores it! She is always patting it and giving it hugs, which is something she hadn't previously done for any other stuffed animals. Fortunately it also washes up well, I've put it through the washer (front loading) and the dryer (on low) and it came out good as new.

Incredibly cuddly! The corduroy has an appealing texture that typical animal "fur" doesn't, while still being extremely soft. I'm a stuffed animal junkie, and this is the most huggable one I've found yet. We received this cat as a baby shower gift and it pretty much stayed in a pile of stuffed animals for a long time. One day, when our daughter was around a year old, she just picked it up and named it. Ever since then, she carries it around everywhere she goes and never sleeps without it. We even bought another one as a backup in case something ever happened to the original. Our daughter is now over two and a half and she still sleeps with it. It has been through countless washes and it still looks great. The ears and the tip of the tail are a bit chewed up but none of the stitches have ripped, it has kept its shape and the color hasn't faded.

I love this kitty, but it does not look just like the stock photo. Its face is a little more round. It is very soft and has a very long tail which is cute. It is much larger-looking in real life than in the photo, also. It is very cute, but do not expect it to look exactly as shown. I was excited when I first bought this toy for my little one, because I had one when I was a child. I'll say one thing about it, it's cute and it looks like the old one, and it's durable. Most Fisher Price toys can withstand alot of abuse. But it's not as playable as the old one.

First of all, the original was made of wood of course, and this one is plastic, but no problem with that, just thought I would mention that to anyone who thought it was exactly like the old one.

The reason it's awkward for children to play with is because the reciever cord is very very short. The child will practically have to hold the whole phone up to his ear.

Whoever said that their child had the coiled cord wrapped around their neck was either lying trying for a lawsuit, or they had an actual older version. There is no way the coiled cord is going to wrap around anyone's neck unless it was a Barbie doll's neck. I'm assuming they shortened it for safety reasons. Okay, I understand that, but they left the pull cord long on it. A child could strangle themselves with the pull cord just as well as they could the reciever cord if it was long enough. So why shorten one for safety reasons but leave the other long? That is just stupid. My 1 year old won't play with this, because he won't pick up the whole phone to put the reciever to his ear. He gets frustrated with it. So really the only purpose it served was to bring back a childhood memory for me. I will probably wind up cutting the stupid 3 inch cord off of the darn thing so my baby can hold the reciever the right way.

So I only recommend this for someone who likes replicas of their childhood toys, or for someone who just likes cute toys to display on a shelf in their child's room. But I don't recommend it as a toy to play with.

This is an old favorite toy that I think every child has probably owned at one time or another.

I look for toys that are fun, easy to use and fairly quiet. I also look for toys that encourage creativity, exploration of the world (educational is just a bonus). I want a toy that will grow with the child. This toy fits just about all of these requirements.

This toy is fun for my kids to drag around. The moving eyes enchanted my son, encouraging him to walk when he first began walking. It is quiet and lots of fun.

Here are my few commentsFirst, it would be more fun if the wheels clicked or made some noise. Second, The button pad is one big pad that pushes down all at once, this is a shame because it would be MUCH more fun if it had seperate number buttons.

There are a lot of toys with strings for pulling. I bought this because I remembered mine. However, I don't think I would buy it for anything other than sentimental reasons. There are other more fun toys available.

I didn't ask for this toy, but my 10 month old daughter received it as a gift for Christmas. She loves moving it around on the wheels, turning the rotary numbers (mostly for the sound it makes) and holding the receiver up to her ear. When I first saw the toy, the first thing I noticed was how ridiculously short the cord from the phone to the receiver is! I was a bit annoyed that they shortened it. BUT then I went into the basement of my parents house and found my old version of this toy and THE CORD ON THE OLD ONE IS THE SAME LENGTH! I was born in 1985, so maybe previous versions had longer cords, but a 25 year old version of it didn't. I think it's funny how we all assume that "parents today" were too worried about their kids strangling themselves on the cord, but apparently parents back then thought the same thing. I'm not sure how my daughter even knows what this is because she's never seen a phone like that before, but she still likes it! Long story short, my now 11 month old daughter still loves to play with this toy.

I was very impressed with the quality of this costume. It didn't look or feel cheap at all. In fact it was very soft. My son (15 months old) thought it was a stuffed animal and enjoyed simply carrying it around the house, hugging it. I marked this costume highly on educational value because once we put it on my son, he began hooting like an owl which he hadn't done before. So in a way, it made him put a face to a word, so to speak. One of the reasons I chose this costume is because I knew it would keep my son warm on a cold, New England Halloween. And it did.

This is my 22 month old's favorite toy! It is soft, floppy, and very fun to snuggle. She actually stole it from a 10 year old's toy box and wouldn't give it up. Duckie goes everywhere with her, sleeps with her, and "eats" what she eats. Did I mention it launders well? She recently forgot it at the babysitter's, and she spent the weekend roaming our house calling for Duckie disconsolately. PlanToys Roller

I love the idea of this simple toy for babies, but was horrified when mine fell apart during its first day of use. The six side pieces and ball present serious choking hazards when the toy doesn't stay together. We were able to repair it with some gorilla glue, but buyer beware!

Toy is Ok...much, much smaller than it looked in the picture...no dimensions. It is smaller than a baseball. We thought it would be somewhat larger.

Our son started playing with my husband's toy car (metal, with moving parts, not appropriate for baby), so we ordered this toy as a substitute. It's great very colorful with a ball inside so it makes noise as it rolls. The ball also helps to make the toy roll smoothly across a flat surface.

My only quibble is that the toy is about the size of a plum. From the picture I expected something larger, so I was pretty shocked at this tiny little thing that came out of the box. however, our son can get his hands around it, and it rolls really well, and he likes it. So the size is not that important as long as we keep our eyes on it. That thing could go missing under the sofa in nothing flat!

We love plan toys. We have many of their toys and my kids (5yr, 3yr, and 7mth) really love playing with them. This toy was great for my first son but my 7mth old got his fingers stuck in the space between the colored slats. I had to pull pretty hard to get them out and he had crimps in his fingers after I pulled them out. I thought maybe it was a fluke since it had never happened before with my other son, so I didn't throw it away.

He ended up grabbing it again a few days later and got 2 fingers and his thumb stuck that time! He was shaking his little hand and it wouldn't come off. So, I guess it wasn't a fluke.

I would not recommend this toy. However, I called Plan Toys and they were really nice and are sending me a different product to replace this one.

My son received this from our registry for Christmas. I was surprised at the size. I thought it was going to be bigger, but it is the perfect size for little hands to grasp. He was 2 months old at the time, so he didn't show much interest right away, but a few months later, this became a favorite of his to play with. Now he is 8 months old, and he loves to hold it with one hand and shake it and pass it to the other hand. We also roll it back and forth to each other. I turn it and point to the colors and tell him what they are. Plan Toys is such a great company. I feel completely safe when I see him gnawing on it, knowing it is non-toxic and eco-friendly. Lamaze Peekaboo Baby Toy

This is a cute toy, but I'm a bit disappointed in the "interactiveness" of it. Granted, it is called a "clutch cube" because that's about all you can do with it --clutch it. I had mistakenly thought this was a cube that I saw on line made by Zolo toys. The Zolo toy cube has "lift up tabs" on EVERY FACE of the cube with interactive things, such a streamers, squeakers, pull things, mirrors, etc.... You should NOT get this toy if you are looking for an interactive toy. Instead, get the one by Zolo Toys. I thought every face of this cube had a "hidden thing" underneath, but it's only one side -the mirror side. If you notice, that's the side that is advertised in the picture. Don't let it fool you -that's just about it with the flaps. If your kid loves to "clutch things" then this is a good cube... but if your kid loves to actually interact with a toy, then this is not the toy for you.

This is by far my daughter's favorite toy. She's been playing with it since about the age of two months. She would just look at it and smile but now at 9 months, she still loves it and manipulates it in every way. The hook is great for hanging it on play gyms, strollers, or car seats. The "handles" on the corners are perfect for tiny hands to grasp. The two little rings on the handles make a pleasant soft clanking sound and make great teethers. The panda face makes the crinkly sound and if you lift it up there is a mirror underneathe for playing peek a boo. There is also a green apple scent on the underside of the panda face. I have heard other reviewers say it stinks, but I think it is pleasant and not too strong. It still has the scent after all this time. There is also a monkey face and some different patterns on the other sides of the cube. There is a satin like fabric and a flannel feeling fabric on some of the sides. So many different colors and textures to keep baby entertained for a long time. There is also a bell that rattles when you shake the cube or turn it.

Our daughter's favorite is the crinkly green-apple smelling panda face. This is the one toy we ALWAYS have when we are on the go. She will play with it in the car, it entertains her at restaraunts while we eat and is great fun at home too. It's roughly 6" cubed, so it can be a little big, but can still be crammed into the diaper bag.

This is an excellent toy. My daughter has enjoyed it since she was 3 weeks old and still plays with it at 4 months. When she was younger, we hung it above her in a baby gym activity mat. She loved to swing at it. When she started to grab at things, she enjoyed gripping onto the soft handles and the hard handles with different textures. Now, she is starting to sit up and can play with the toy for around 20 minutes without getting bored. Her favorite side is the panda face with crinkly noises. We also lay her on a Boppy for tummy time and put this cube in front of her. She loves it. This is a great toy that an infant can enjoy for many months.

This toy is another hit with my daughter. She loves looking and playing with it and reaches for it often. I like to "help" her with the mirror part, so it is a great toy for the two of us to play together with. Also, it doesn't mention it in the description, but it has a nice apple-y smell!

Lamaze makes a very high quality soft toy. Like the others my grandson has been given, the Clutch Cube Baby Toy is very well made. The seams are securely sewn. The different fabrics offer differing tactile experiences to stimulate baby's sense of touch. The bright colors are visually stimulating. The hard rings are wonderful for gumming when baby's teeth are coming in. The hidden panel which opens to reveal a mirror provides the element of surprise to entertain baby.

My only criticism is that this cube is rather large and is hard for younger infants to handle. I question whether older infants who are large enough to handle this toy will find it interesting. For a six month old who is very interested, this toy is just too large to handle and Grandma ends up manipulating it to entertain baby.

The Brightling Builders and Brightlings Dancers are much cheaper, but if you want to choose one of these two I would recommend the Builders (see my review of Dancers). The Builders come with 9 pieces overall (3 bases, 3 heads and 3 other pieces) that can be stacked and rattled one of them lights up when pressed and one has a tiny mirror. Personally I think it's a nice alternaive to the common stacker with the rings. Also, the pieces are neither too heavy nor too big for baby's hands to pick up. When stacked (3 pieces on top of each other) they are probably about 6-8 inches tall.

I have a developmentally delayed 2 year old, so I pay a great deal of attention to the educational value of a toy. This one is great. According to my son's physical therapist stacking toys, particularly ones that can be stacked many different ways are important to aid in cognitive development. Plus my son just enjoys stacking them up and knocking them down! They are cute and I don't think it would be possible to break them.

We bought these along with the brightlings matchers for our 8 month old and she really likes them. She is too young to really play with them but they do attract her as she will reach for them when presented with many toy options. As mentioned in my matchers review they are great for the diaper bag because they are small and offer a distraction when needed. I think for the price they are a good value.

Again these are a PERFECT size for him to grab and manipulate.

Right now he loves to knock them over if I stack them, or just have them piled in his lap and kick, grab and toss around.

Quite simply, this toy is boring. Just something else for you to step on. Doesn't hold my child's interest for even a minute. Waste of money.

Mini Baby Emperor Penguin

My 8 year old likes this little penguin because he is "very soft, cute and realistic."

We like that this puppet is not floppy like many other puppets. You can play with him like a regular stuffed animal if you want to. My kids usually aren't interested in puppets. However, my son does say that being able to put the penguin on his finger gives him an easy way to carry him. This little penguin is the best of both worlds -a puppet and a stuffed animal in one.

This teeny baby emperor penguin finger puppet is ADORABLE and really well made. It was a birthday present for my penguin loving 7 year old daughter. For her party all she wanted was to go feed the penguins at the zoo, so we did, and she took her new finger puppet with her. And somewhere she LOST it. As soon as she realized it was missing it was IMMEDIATE and COMPLETE PANIC. So my husband RAN all over the Seattle zoo looking for it high, low and everywhere in between, and darn it this thing is SMALL!!! We're talking maybe 5 inches??? It was starting to get dark and cold and rainy... And they were about to close... Thankfully super dad saved the day cuz it was about to be the worse birthday in history. But there it was, in the dirt, under the Komodo dragon statue she had been climbing on earlier.

Moral of the story. It's ADORABLE, and it's so cute to see my precious daughter with her teeny little hands holding this cute little thing and talking for him in a high, squeaky voice saying "I'm so cold! I miss my snuggly wuggly egg!". But be warned, it's SMALL and EASILY lost! Not only at zoos but also at grocery stores, between couch cushions and behind the bed.

My daughter loves it an takes it everywhere with her. She calls it "Fuzzball". It is clearly well made and is holding together well with rough handling.

The picture is not very accurate now you get the small baby penguin finger puppet. It is cute, but for some reason, the one I was shipped seems to be warped. The top of the head is not round, but indented. Still cute though. I wish the stitching wasn't so uneven and that my penguin's head wasn't deformed. He is not proportionate.

I was so excited to buy this for my daughter but she has had it for over 6 months and has used it maybe ten times. I figured since this a toy it would have fun songs but it only plays rock-a-bye baby. I like that it is soft but my daughter is 18 months and only 21 pounds and it looks like it is going to break each time she does use it. We do not have any other rocker so maybe she just doesn't like rockers but needless to say this has been wrapped up and put in the not used toys pile for baby number two.

My 1 year old LOVES this dolphin rocker! The "fur" is soft and squishy, yet underneath is firm enough to be sat on. The music is a little creepy thosounds like the children of the corn are singing it.

This is cute rocker but the tail broke the second time my son used it. He is only 25 pounds and when he leaned back on the tail it broke. Very disappointed in the quality of this toy.
