I spend a lot of time looking at rubber ducks; it's my job. I'm a rubber ducky retail buyer. I own this duck. I've handled this duck dozens of times and I have to say that, for a duck, it's a good, safe choice. Young children like to put ducks in their mouths. Duck butts go straight in, without a second thought. If you are concerned about BPAs, then this duck and his little gang of friends are a more natural choice. He doesn't float upright, it isn't advertised as such and, in fact, most rubber ducks on the market don't float upright;they float on their side. In order to float, they need a weighted bottom. That's just the way it is.

11" Treetops Giraffe

I got this as a gift for my son and once I opened it I very much contemplated keeping it for myself!! Its so cuddly, so soft, so perfectly smushy!! I also had this gift packaged and it came perfectly boxed. I was a little hesitant buying a stuffed animal off Amazon, only bcs I like to feel the material its made with and I didnt know if it was just a good advert picture... but I had to try and Im so glad I did!! Delta Disney Cars Square Table and Chair Set

For my son's 2nd birthday we redid his entire room in the Cars theme. We went as far as repainting his room & furniture.

This table & chair set is a MUST for any Cars fan. I was a little hesitant at first because the price was very good...so I wasn't expecting a whole lot. I was very pleasantly surprised. They are extremely sturdy, fairly heavy for the size, and beautiful bold colors/graphics. Can't go wrong with this fantastic set.

This table is nice because it is wood, instead of plastic and metal. My toddler loves it, but one of the table legs has loosened and stripped out where the leg screws into the table. We have glued it several times but it is still loose. The chairs have been durable and we have had the set for over a year now. Some of the paint on the top has chipped from being cleaned a lot.

I purchased this table & chairs set as a birthday present for my grandson. I thought he'd use it for play. Well as it turns out, he loves it and wants to eat all of his meals at it which has greatly reduced mealtime battles and brought some peace and quiet to mealtime for his mom and dad.

All the surfaces with the pictures on are very durable and were in excellent condition. A leg or two had some blue paint missing or scratched off, but that was really no big deal to me. If need be, the legs can be easily unscrewed and repainted, which may be necessary in time, given the great amount of use this set will get. Great item!

I am so excited to begin learning at home with these using the printables found on What a bright idea! My blocks came in the mail today, and I am printing away to create inter-changeable learning blocks for my 8, 4 and 2 year old!!!

I purchased these to make a personalized gift for my grandchild. I do a lot of photography for fun, and loved the idea of adding photos of the family and pets, etc. the blocks are durable and soft, however, they are smaller than I thought they would be from the photo. You cannot go wrong with blocks, though. A child learns cause and effect, balance, coordination, etc, from these classic toys. I am pleased, overall.

Wonderworld Bouncing Pounder

There weren't many reviews of this toy, so I thought I'd put a few notes out there for those curious. It looks just as pictures; the colors and bright and seem durable thus far. There were a few minor cracks in the paint, but nothing that most people would notice. The only things that surprised me were that (1) the cylinders don't come out quite as high as I might have expected, making me wonder how obvious it is to a baby or toddler's attention span that there has been much change (I would say they change position by about two centimeters, if that) and (2) you do have to apply firm pressure, either by knocking the levers with the hammer or pressing hard with hand to make the levers depress and the cylinders rise. I suppose I should have realized that from the fact that it is called a "pounder", but I guess I was somehow imagining the cylinders popping up quite easily and lightly. Still, none of these are drawbacks in my opinion--simply things that I may not have anticipated. Hopefully this review will help other buyers feel more informed! Overall, I do not at all regret getting this toy so far. My son is nearly 9 months old now, so he only takes the hammer and knocks it on the floor or chews on it and tries to grab and pull at the cylinders without grasping how to make them move, but I look forward to him figuring it out as he grows.

Lamaze Musical Inchworm

When our baby was first born it was fun to take pictures of him next to this inchworm because he was shorter than it. Now, at 5 months, he is longer than the inchworm and loves to roll over and "wrestle" with it. He is currently entertained by the various textures and fabrics on the inchworm, and I anticipate this being a toy that grows with him as he learns to make the music play, press the squeeky part, and learn his colors, numbers, and the measurement system! A very cool learning & development toy!

It's a cute toy though it shouldn't be advertised as a "Musical Inchworm" because the music is not very impressive. The music is similar to that of low-quality greeting card. It's very quiet and tinny, and only turns on when the nose is pressed. The various segments of the inchworm has different senses inside, only one of them actually plays music.

The lamaze toys are mostly the same so save bucks and don't buy too many. Crinkles, squeaks galore. It's not as long as my son and he's 6 months. He does like chewing on it but he likes chewing on almost anything. As another reviewer stated, it's a bit difficult to get the song to play. Still a fun tummy time toy though.

We bought this for our son when he was 2 months old, and at that time he was completely mesmerised when we wiggled, squeaked and crunched it above his head. It stopped his grumbling straight away, and he smiled at it more than us! Now he is 4 months and it is still by far his favourite toy he particularly loves the squeaking and rustling sounds and he can now chew and cuddle it.

Other reviewers have said that the musical part doesn't work, or that the song is too short, but I haven't had that problem at all in fact, our baby sets off the music just by chewing on the worm's head. I'm not sure if having toys that continually play tinny music is such a desirable thing, anyway. We bought this DESPITE the fact that it was musical, not because of it. Perhaps if you're looking for music, you should buy a CD.

I would highly recommend this for young babies, and I can see it remaining a favourite for a while to come. The best money we've spent so far.

Lamaze products are amazing because they are so cute and colorful. The problem? They all seem to do the same thing. We received this as a gift and while its cute and cuddly its not a favorite. Like another person posted it can nicely be used to prop a child up for tummy time...and could be cute to take pictures of next to. But...we got two inchworms...and the other one we got the pieces actually come apart so you can connect the inchworm together & it sings. And while connecting the pieces is harder for a newborn to do (ok impossible!) it definitely grows with the child! My 2.5 year old is entertained by it and allows the two kids to play together...so...nix this worm and go look for the other one!

I thought I was getting 2 "mice" as title is "fabric mice" not "mouse". I now have one very cute small blue mouse that after the crazy S & H cost me around $13. My cat will probably steal it its so small!

the description implies that you will recieve a set, as in BOTH mice. I only recieved the red and pink one, Im super bummed about it. Amazoncustomer service was unable to help me get the other mouse , so I guess Ill have to order again and hope they get it right next time :/ as for the product itself, of course they are adorable and well made just like all the other haba products, Im sure I wouldve been very pleased, had I recieved what I ordered :(

I got this for my 1 year old, and it is well loved by all my kids. One mouse squeaks, the other rattles, and they are just the right size to be held in his hands. it arrived with chipped paint and i almost sent it back since i was not impressed with the paint job on it. i have purchased other vilac toys where the paint is perfect. not sure what happened with this set. we ended up keeping it and our son loves playing with it daily. he's too young to get the blocks on correctly but he attempts it. he likes pushing it around. i think they should have added a string to make it a pull toy. that would have been a nice addition. despite it being chipped when it arrived it has not had any chipping problems but the paint is very different than the other vilac toys we have purchased.

Fisher-Price Sesame Street Elmo Sing and Giggle Camera

Ok, so I bought this toy for my 1 1/2 year old. he loves it , mind you, but I find some of the material they have Elmo saying to be...less than ok for small children. I never thought I'd see the day when Elmo says " work it baby work it!" and " give it to Elmo!" Just an heads up for anyone thinking of buying this toy, I thought some of the dialogue was inappropriate. my son loves it! I cringe.

My twins received this toy as a gift for Christmas. At first, I thought it was cute, Elmo tells them to say cheese, and sings a little song. After a little while, though, some other phrases started to come up. "Work it, baby, work it!" and "Give it to Elmo!" were two that immediately stood out as things I never thought I would hear Elmo say. I am really disappointed that those phrases were included. The boys love this toy, but I think the batteries may be removed soon. I know they won't enjoy it as much if the buttons don't cause it to make noise, but I really think some of the things this toy says are inappropriate for toddlers, or any children.

My 16-month-old great nephew loves the bright colors of these bugs and the way they snap together. They're well-designed to accommodate little hands and their squeezably soft, lightweight design makes them fun and safe for play. Can be used as bathtime toys, too. Great inexpensive gift!

My daughter recieved these bugs from her aunt for her first birthday and they have quickly become her favorite toys! She loves to put them together and pull them apart (with mom's help because it does take a little more strength than she has yet). She also loves to count her bugs as she puts them in boxes. But I think her favorite use for the bugs is to chew on. They are a sturdy plastic and the nub on top where they link into another bug is the perfect size and shape for teething. Grandma got these for my daughter when she was about 9 months old. The pros: the bugs are cute and bright, made of durable yet soft plastic and my daughter loves them. The cons: baby cannot possibly detach or reattach the bugs on her own as it takes a little muscle to do it. So, sometimes baby gets frustrated. Also, it's not clear what types of bugs certain of these creatures are supposed to be. Still, lots of fun for my little one.
