Aurora Plush Baby 12 inches Yummy Blue Bear

Aurora Plush Baby 12 inches Yummy Blue BearYou can tell by the dimensions that this teddy isn't super big, but it makes up for it by being super soft and super cute. I ordered a larger bear of a different material and style, but I like this one way better. The material is very soft, almost silky, and it seems to be well made. There are no noticeable defects. I will be giving it as a baby gift. After I received this bear, I ordered the pink one for a baby girl coming in 2012. I am very happy with this purchase.

This is the second plush bear I've purchased for my now 2.5 year old son. I gave it to him about six months ago after Blue Bear the First needed to be retired. I was worried because the tag on the old one had frayed (Bear One was getting a bit ratty after several washings), so I don't know who made it and I couldn't find another exactly like it. Fortunately, my boy took to his new, clean, fluffy bear immediately! Some days later, my boy found Bear One in the laundry, carried it around for part of a day, and pulled one of the plastic eyes out with his teeth! So I was very glad that he'd already taken so well to this second Bear. The eyes are sewn on (they look to me like very tightly sewn patches, but they might be embroidered like the nose), the neck ribbon is very secure, and the tag looks sturdy too (I haven't needed to wash it yet, amazingly). The size seems just right for him (he has a much larger brown bear, about 30 inches, but prefers this one). The color is a lovely light blue, not grayish like the photo here. I think I'll have to order a back up or two!

My son loves this blue bear. It lasted about a year of daily cuddles before we had to order blue bear number two. The bear is super soft and cuddly. Also at 12 " it just the right size for a baby or toddler.

The bear is more of a soft baby blue, not like the grey in the picture. It's very cute. The ribbon is stuck in place, the eyes are thread, fabric is like fluffy silk xD Overall very cute and cuddly.

Beanie Babies-Slick the Fox

Beanie Babies-Slick the FoxThis is the toy that has been replaced twice. Our child is a teen now and still loves it.

Slick's adventures started out at a supermarket in Piscataway New Jersey where he would register hop on a daily basis. From Piscataway he headed West bound for New Mexico. He saw many sites on his journey across the states. He went from PowerGas in Dunellen to the Arch in St. Louis to the Ozarks to Texas oil refineries to ancient ruins to the VLA and White Sands. But he didn't stop there! That was just summer 2007... In Winter 2008 Slick headed West again to spend 3 months camping in Death Valley California. He stayed in Las Vegas and the Sierra Nevadas! Slick camped all over the 3 million acres of Death Valley including a nudist colony in Saline Valley. Don't believe me? I've got the pictures to prove it. Send me an email and I'll be more than happy to share them! Slick's adventures continue in May 2008 traveling the North East till November. Stay up-to-date.

IQ Baby Zoom Zoom Vehicles

IQ Baby Zoom Zoom VehiclesMy daughter really likes these cars and I plan to give them as a gift in the future because of our experience with them. She loves opening all the different flaps and pockets. I originally introduced them at 6 mo, which was too young for her to really enjoy them. But now that she is close to one year, she "drives" them on the floor and makes "vroom vroom" noises. They are something she looks for in the toy bin and I would put them in the "favorite toy" category. You can't really tell from the picture, but the colors are bright and the wheels are plastic and move easily. The only thing I wish I could change is that they aren't machine washable.

My son started playing with these at about 6 months. He still plays with them everyday at almost a year. I think they are really cool, I love the colors and the flaps on them. I'm also a big fan of cloth toys. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a kid (baby to toddler) that likes cars.

My eight month old grandson loves his IQ Baby Zoom Zoom Vehicles. The six vehicles are colorful, having enough flaps and windows behind which colorful people and animals are hidden to keep him entertained for extended periods of time. The textures of the fabrics used in constructing these vehicles vary from shiney, smooth satin to corduroy-type finishes. The vehicles are sufficiently large so that he can grasp them even though his fine motor-skills are not fully developed.

We can actually get all six vehicles stacked, if we are quick, so that he can knock down the tower. This is one of his favorite things to do and results in smiles and laughter.

The finish work on these vehicles is well done. There are no rough seams or raw edges showing. The plastic wheels on all six vehicles have smooth edges; that is a real plus since those wheels are a favorite teething chew.

If you have a little one, he or she might enjoy these colorful, multi-functional vehicles.

This held my child's interest for a whopping 2 minutes, and he refused to play with it any longer. Really, it's a bunch of soft cars that don't roll, are difficult to push and don't stay stacked. Don't waste your money.

These little cars are so darn adorable. They seemed a bit expensive to me, but once they arrived, the detail was so lovely, I think they are worth the price. I just wish my son loved them as much as I did, but he's only 7-months old, so hopefully he'll grow into them. For now, I enjoy playing with them, lifting the flaps, and vroooming all around.

Sassy Hello Baby Phone Rattle Developmental Toy

Sassy Hello Baby Phone Rattle Developmental ToyMy grandson really liked the rattle but the instructions say wash before use and thats what I did. The rattle got water in the black and white swirl side. Sent it back and received a new one and the same happened to the new one. The toy itself is really well made and like I said my grandson really liked it. If I were to ever get one again I would wipe it clean and not submerge it in water (even for a brief time)

I followed the manufacture's cleaning directions and placed it under running water for like 5 seconds to rinse off the soap and water got into both ends of the toy! Boo! I couldn't get the water to dry even when I found the crack in the plastic that allowed the water to get in, I even ran my hairdryer over it & also into the crack. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is that it is super cute and stimulating for my 8 week baby girl to look at and she also seemed to like gripping it since it has a nice textured handle. So since amazon has such a awesome return policy I am getting it exchanged for a new one and only going to wipe it clean from now on and avoid having it near running water!

Wader Giant Dump Truck

Wader Giant Dump TruckI have never seen truck like this. Size, functionality, quality, ... .

We have this item strictly outdoors.

It stays out in winter and summer.

3 years have passed and it is practically as it was on the day 1.

Item is made of Poly Ethylene plastic resin, practically most durable and usable plastic resin out there.

My boys love to dump, transport everything from sand, firewood, stones, each other and yes even our dog gets a ride here and there. I am not sure how much he likes that but ... .

Product is really well designed, constructed and produced.

No question pricey but if you can afford it pays back itself you really do not need to buy another similar item again.

It is nice the see lines like Wader. We have numerous of their toys and no regrets. Made in Germany tell it all.

Tom.

Sassy Go-Go Guitars Musical Toy, Colors May Vary

Sassy Go-Go Guitars Musical Toy, Colors May VaryFirst, I will say that I do like these plush guitar toys/rattles. The easily strap on to a car seat or bouncer and the sounds they make aren't too annoying (which is a plus for parents). We have the Sassy Go-Go Bugs which I like, so when I saw these funky guitars I thought I'd get them. When they arrived I was slightly surprised and a bit disappointed as they only come with 2 rattles! This was hard to tell from the picture and you don't get to pick the colors of the guitars. Admittedly, this is my own fault since it does say that it only comes with 2, but like other items I have purchased it could have said "colors may vary" so you know what to expect. Overall, these guitars are cute, fun, and the bold, contrasting colors are engaging.

Be aware when you're purchasing this product that you are only going to get two of the four guitars depicted. I was unaware of this (I should have scrolled down and read the Product Details and Product Description more thoroughly). Since I wasn't even given the option to choose which two guitars I wanted, I didn't know until my shipment arrived. I'm fine with the product and the pricing, but it needs to be clearer that you only receive half of what the product claims to be at least in the image.

Want Sassy Go-Go Guitars Musical Toy, Colors May Vary Discount?

Unfortunately, these were not what I thought they were. I was searching for an item like the Sassy Go-Go Bugs but with the chime sound. These guitars have the rattle sound which is not what I was looking for. The description says '...with each guitar having a distinct rattle or chime sound' which I mistakenly assumed to mean at least one of the two would have a chime sound but the two I received did not. Despite that, I am keeping them as they are a good quality item, longer length than the Go-Go Bugs which is nice so my 3 month old can reach them better when hanging from the toy bar. I love that they have the velcro strap so much easier to use than the plastic rings to clip onto car seats, toy bars, etc. The velcro straps also don't slide around as much as the plastic rings do.

North American Bear Tickly Toy Zebra Soft Block Set, Black/White

North American Bear Tickly Toy Zebra Soft Block Set, Black/WhiteThis is one of those items that appeal to parents but aren't necessarily a good toy. The graphics on these blocks are really sophisticated and smart, but they're not quite simple enough to really appeal to babies. There are some additional bells and whistles to these blocks (a taggy, a bell, fuzzy sides), but none of them keep my son's attention. Everything is a teether for my kid at this point, but he does seem to find other larger sets of blocks interesting. With just three blocks in this set, there aren't really enough pieces for him to build a tower to knock down or even really take a good bite out of. For that matter, the limited number of blocks in this design (just the three) means that I won't be able to add on to the set later, like I would with Haba soft blocks for example. I really wanted to like this toy and it's a good effort, but it's just not a winner with my kid.

We have the "boy" or animal version of this and my babies loved it. so we thought we would get the "girl" or fairy version. We were a little disappointed and so were the babies. The animal version is wonderful, this one was very cute but has a lot of unrecognizable sounds. It is not educational for the babies.

it's really great for my baby because she can't hurt herself with the soft pages. She seems to play with it a lot. She is 7 months old. The only thing that she doesn't seem to understand about the book is to put the magnetic butterfly on the magnetic dots on the pages. She just chews on the butterfly like a teething toy. I would recommend it still though, keeps her entertained anyway.

BuckleyBoo - Bunny 17"

BuckleyBoo - Bunny 17'This was a gift for my daughter a few months before she turned 2. Initially she was not terribly interested and the buckles were too difficult for her, but a few months after her 2nd birthday she got the hang of it. Now it's become one of her favorite toys. The patterns on the ribbons have helped her learn to match, and she has gotten very adept at buckling. She still needs some help with the unbuckling (which is expected, developmentally), so this isn't quite for solo play yet. We play with Buckley together and I help with the unbuckling for now. I'm so glad I got this for her and I am always recommending it to parents of young toddlers.

Earlyyears Swirly Orb

Earlyyears Swirly OrbKind of neat toy, but not as interesting as I thought it would be. The beads don't slide well down the spokesthey frequently get stuck. The "rain stick" noise its supposed to make is barely noticeableI think it needs more beads in the center. The center does spin when the beads fall back and forth, and looks good. It also has a squeaker on one end and a blue and yellow ball that spins in the other end. My one year old is not as interested in it as I thought she would be. Not a bad toy, but not sure it was worth the purchase.

Playskool Wheel Pals Chuck Fold and Go Fire Station

Playskool Wheel Pals Chuck Fold and Go Fire StationThis toy is very hard to use. I bought it when my son was 19 months old and he seems rather frustrated when he plays with it. First it is much too narrow. When a truck is on the top level and he tries to grab it his hand gets stuck. The middle and bottom level are a waste as he cannot reach the trucks when they are on these levels. The ramp is cute but it is hard to drive the trucks across the track and turn it so the truck goes down the ramp. When the elevator is on the bottom level, I have to help him grab the little handle to help pull it up because again his hand gets stuck. It also tips over very easily. All in all I think this toy is a waste of money.

I agree with the previous post. I bought this for my 2 year old son who loves fire trucks but he became frustrated when he had to squeeze his hand through it to get the fire truck to the other side. It is very narrow and not practical at all. If I had known it was that narrow I wouldn't have gotten it. My son doesn't even play with fire station now, just the little fire truck. I would not recommend this to a friend, it was a waste of money.

Buy Playskool Wheel Pals Chuck Fold and Go Fire Station Now

This is a terrible toy. It is too hard to move the trucks around inside of it. It is poorly designed and made. The elevator sticks. The only thing nice about this toy is that it folds up for storage, which is the only thing I can see doing with this toy. I took it back right away. Don't waste your money.

My son got this toy for his 4th birthday and will not stop playing with it. The ramp did fall off once but we were able to snap it back on and it has not fallen off since. He loves the slide pole for the trucks and that all the trucks fit nicely in the fire station and that he can play with the fire station and the construction querry at the same time and that it can go where he goes like to great grandma and great grandpa's house on vacation.

The only thing is I would not recommend this toy for any child under 3 it is for older preschoolers.

Want Playskool Wheel Pals Chuck Fold and Go Fire Station Discount?

I am sure someone has already said the same things I will list. However I felt compelled to say to everyone thinking about purchasing this toy, "Only get it if it's free with free shipping."

I would like to share a few bad things: The ramp collapses every time the car goes down it. The twirl thing gets stuck going down and when you pull it up. The width of each level is so small my two-year-old cannot push the car through to the other side. The elevator is difficult to maneuver. It only comes with one car = one kid at a time. And even though Amazon lists it as $10, it's really worth no more than about 50 cents. I would have been better satisfied with any toy from a kid's meal.

Fisher-Price Cruise and Groove Ballapalooza

Fisher-Price Cruise and Groove BallapaloozaThe Fisher-Price Cruise and Groove Ballapalooza, much like its name, takes up way too much space for what it is. This toy takes up more room than any other we own and there's no way to reduce its size for storage. Without changing much feature-wise, this toy could have easily been designed to take up half the space.

This toy does have some neat design elements. There is a ball-dropper at the top that you can push balls into and have them fall out onto a angled plastic 'trampoline' pad so that they bounce onto the top of the highest ramp. There is also a switch that registers falling balls to turn on lights and sound (3 C batteries required). The toy comes with plenty of balls (which are very hard plastic, so watch where your kids throw them) and the toy does look great when it is fully assembled. Also, assembly is not too bad, taking roughly 20-30 minutes for the average parent, less if there's help or a powered screwdriver.

My children are 8 months and 2 1/2 years old. They both enjoyed playing with the toy right away, but there interest quickly evaporated. Simply put, this toy doesn't do much. The ramps can only be constructed one way and while there are 2 ramps, the shorter path is completely lame. The higher ramp (with the trampoline) is just short enough for easy access to my older kid, but obviously too much for my little one to handle she mostly plays with the balls and ignores the monstrous Ballapalooza. The suggested age range of 6 months to 3 years doesn't make much sense to me. I feel that any kid over 2 years will quickly become bored and many kids under 1 year will not really be able to use this toy. So, I would suggest 12-24 months.

Overall, I was disappointed by this toy and so were my kids. It looks nice and is fun for a few days, but for its size and price, it should do more to keep kids entertained. It would have been easy for Fisher Price to include more ramps and do-hickeys that interact with the rolling balls. Instead the toy offers one mildly amusing ramp, one ramp that's a waste of space and some unrelated do-hickeys that don't really do much but take up a lot of extra space.

UPDATE (11/8/2012): After a little over one month, my children have played very little with this toy since I posted my review. I have kept the toy out in a prominent location because we have space and the toy really does look great, but they mostly ignore it. Every few days my toddler might pick up a ball and play with the Ballapalooza for all of one or two minutes. I will be taking the toy down to the basement shortly.

This toy is fun ~ very entertaining and educational.

Our grandson loves to run the balls down the chute to keep the music going ~

and crawl through the arms, and this toy is also styled to share.

The flashing lights on the post are red/green/yellow like a traffic light

and blink on/off to the beat of the music.

This activity center encourages various other action

that promote motor skills and coordination.

For children 6 mo to 3 yrs ~ plus.

There are 31 pieces to screw and/or snap together, 35 screws, and some stickers.

The pieces are notched all different ways, and numbered to aid in assembly.

I used a phillips bit, in my cordless drill ~ minimized the torque and went slow ~

the plastic is tough enough that all the screws snugged down to a stop

with-out striping out any holes.

I found it easier to use the butt end of the rubber coated handle of my hammer

to hit the snap joints together, instead of my hands.

The switch on the base has two levels of volume.

Ballapalooza uses three C batteries which aren't included.

This seems to be a rugged toy, and reminds me of the sort of toys

you might see in a Pediatric Doctors waiting room.

Up-date May 27, 2013. Our grandson still plays with this toy every time he's at out house.

He's forever inventing different ways of interacting with the Ballapalooza, running his little cars around the ramps, etc.

Perhaps he's not grown tired of it because it's not available to him everyday, but he's still loving this toy.

Buy Fisher-Price Cruise and Groove Ballapalooza Now

Overall, I'm not super impressed with this toy! I've listed the pros and cons below, and although the list looks pretty equal, the pros are minor functions compared to the cons of a long time to assemble. I have a 3 year old and a 16 month old and they really don't seem to care for this toy, which was surprising, but it really doesn't do much other than the balls sliding down the ramps.

PROs

The post lights up and has fun music

It comes with LOTS of balls, so if you lose some you're not frantically looking for something to make the toy work again

It's fun colors

It has a 2 different music volumes so you can turn it down if you find the music annoying

CONs

It takes a LONG time to put together (took me more than 1 hour and I'm good with putting toys together!)

My kids were bored with it after 15 minutes

The toy itself is VERY large and takes up a lot of room (it's about 3 feet in diameter by the time it's all put together)

The balls only can take 2 different tracks, so the limited options, left my kids (3 and 16 months) bored quickly

The "door" they can crawl through doesn't move well and doesn't trigger any music or lights

The music and lights are not always triggered by the balls going through

It's too tall for my 16 month old to put the balls in the top part and The crawl through door is too small for my 3 year old to go through, so it seems like they weren't sure what age/ages they were really making this toy for

Read Best Reviews of Fisher-Price Cruise and Groove Ballapalooza Here

This was a toy for my 22 month old son, we wanted to give him something interactive to play with that would stimulate him to move and play. Out of the box this comes in dozens of pieces and should probably be put together ahead of time when your child is napping or busy, it took a little while to assemble and having a toddler run off with pieces sets you back really fast. After assembled and getting batteries installed this thing is nothing but fun. My son got the hang of it very quickly, you can add balls anywhere along the track but he does like to make them go from the tip top all the way to the bottom, we had extra balls from another toy and it is much more fun with the extra balls traveling the course. This is a very large toy, it works best if you have a playroom or space in a bedroom that is large enough to leave it up all the time, taking it down and moving it frequently is not really easy. Overall I would give this 5 stars and recommend it for anyone that wants to see their child have active play even indoors on a rainy day.

Want Fisher-Price Cruise and Groove Ballapalooza Discount?

Before I start my review I must say that usually Amazon would send a big box displaying what's inside so you can't hide it. This one came in an Amazon brown box so if you're thinking of getting this as a gift for your little one then you have no issues with packaging. Another thing you may need to do is stock up on your C batteries because this one takes 3 and they're not included. :)

Set up was not too difficult since all the parts were numbered and the directions were pretty simple to follow. It took my husband setting it up about an hour setting it up by himself. Once set up though it's a phenomenal toy. My 8 month old loves it. She has fun putting the balls in and watching them roll down. She's at the age where she pulls herself up and I'm not afraid of it tipping over with her because of the stability of the toy.

The music is more techno and fun and watching it light up amazes her. It does take up a bit of floor space so take that into consideration when buying. I definitely recommend this toy for those crawling and learning to stand.

Convertible Translucent Inflatible Sunshade Baby Float Age 6-18 months

Convertible Translucent Inflatible Sunshade Baby Float Age 6-18 monthsMy son is currently 4 months and weighs about 15 pounds. This float was easy to assemble and a breeze to blow up.

The shade is a bit low, but worked fine since my son is young. I can see that it would be an issue for any baby that was a bit taller and older. As long as the sun was behind the float than it shaded just fine, which is the most important to us since we are in 100 degree weather in Arizona. It also was nice because the mesh in the bottom of the float enabled us to sort of recline my son (always watching and holding him of course). He really enjoyed himself.

All in all it was a great price and I do think we will get our money worth on this product. It is not as nice of a design as the $35-$40 floats but it blocks the sun and enables my son to have a good time in the pool!

Schylling Color Roller

Schylling Color RollerMy nephew received this as a first birthday present. He was very excited and it turned out to be one of his favorite gifts. He spent the rest of the day wandering around with it and watching the colors. The rest of the family liked that it didn't make any irritating sounds, just a kind of whirring sounds when pushed fast.

I have bought 3 of these as gifts, and everyone raves about them. 2 out of the three received them at age 1 and are still playing with them now at age 2+. Highly recommend! Fun like a popper toy, but not quite as loud/obnoxious. :)

Bright Starts Start Your Senses Soothe-A-Bee Teether

Bright Starts Start Your Senses Soothe-A-Bee TeetherOur grandson was introduced to this teether in day care. I decided to purchase it for him. He is 6 months old and it is one of his favorite play toys as well as a wonderful teether.

I purchased this for my son on a whim and am so glad I did. It has been one of his favorites for a long time. Cute, tectured, and easy for baby to handle and chew on!

I bought this as a replacement to another teether that I ruined by sterilizing in the microwave. This was a little different and I don't think I would be able to make the same mistake with this one. However, it's a little harder than the previous one I had boght. All in all, my little one seems to like it.

Little Fox

Little FoxThe little book contains a number of lovely drawings, but no text after a while it's just not as fun to play with. However, the toy fox superbly made, soft, and very colorful can be used in so many story play-outs. My daughter and I love playing with it.

Gund Baby Stacking Toy

Gund Baby Stacking ToyThis is a cute toy. My son enjoys taking the rings out and using them as teething toys (everything goes in his mouth these days). It's also washable which is awesome. The only thing I don't like is that the top portion (the head) does not stay on.
