Earthentree Organic Waggy Pull Toy

I was very excited about getting this toy in the mail for my daughter. When I recieved the box I thought it felt a little light. When I opened it I couldn't believe how small the toy was! For a pull toy I was expecting something about the size of a large Kleenex box. This toy is just about twice the size of a little Matchbox car. The beads it is made out of are small and that makes me too nervous to let my daughter play with it without me because she still puts everything in her mouth. It's very cute but it has become more of an ornament than anything at this point. However, she does enjoy playing with it when we do take it down to play with. It hobbles along quite nicely. I wouldn't send it back but I certainly wouldn't buy it again.

Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Musical Activity Walker

This is a fun toy. There are a handful of musical instruments represented on the front of the walker piano, guitar, saxophone, etc. Each one, when activated, plays cute, upbeat music that makes babies happy. There's a volume switch to make mommy/daddy happy, too. We received this as a gift when my son was about 6 months old, and he loved sitting in front of it and activating the songs and sounds. When he began cruising, we merely propped it against an end table for extra support and left it out for him to cruise around and continue to play with. Great.

Until he began wanting to walk independently, but needed a little support from a walker. That's the point of this, right? Umm, not quite. We quickly realized that this is a fun toy, but NOT a good walker. It's very lightweight, and easily pushes away/tips when a newly-walking-toddler leans into it. It also can easily tip back when a toddler sits down, too, coming down on his head. After my son suffered a few painful faceplants and head bumps trying to use this walker, we took it away for his safety.

As a musical activity toy for a sitting/crawling/cruising baby, this is quite cute. As a walker for new toddlers, this doesn't do the trick. I'd recommend looking for something more sturdy.

We bought this item after reading a lot of reviews and doing research. At the end of the day, my goal was to have something for my 12 month old to practice walking with (so far she cruises along furniture... but I don't want her only walking sideways!) When we put it together and gave it to her, I have never seen her so happy!!! She walks back and forth across our carpeted room like she has a new found freedom! We got nervous when she went near our tile floor, but she did just fine. The ONLY time it might tip is when she runs up against furniture and tries to keep on going. However, we are usually right there (as responsible parents) and turn her around facing her in another direction. She has flipped it on herself twice (or, rather, flipped herself over it) but neither time was she hurt or even phased by the fall. I can't stress enough how perfect this was for us. I don't think it is cheaply made at all. She can pull herself up on either side, loves the buttons, loves the music... it's great!!!! BUY IT!!!

This item offers absolutely no resistance against the wheels. If you don't hover over your child while they are walking, eventually you'll end up with some busted teeth or a bloody lip. If your child runs into anything with it, they will go over the top of it(as if over the handlebars on a bicycle). The plastic bends and the screw tips 'almost' pop through the plastic. It is very light so if your child is learning to walk... get them something else... Amazon customer support was willing to allow me a return, but we kept it as it does entertain my son. We have removed the wheels and the unit now sits stationary.

Was wearing after reading other reviews but my goodness they made it seem like I was purchasing the start of a horror movie for my child. Purchased it for my daughter before xmas so she was about to turn 10 months. She's almost 11 months now and is doing better with it than when she first got it. From the help of her 1 month older cousin she picked up how to properly start using a walker. Unfortunately my child does want to PLAY with the front WHILE WALKING BEHIND. Hilarious to watch. She always uses it backwards. A bit easier for her to play and walk.

I believe this toy works better on none shag-ish carpet (idk what to call it exactly). The carpet in our upstairs portion of the house it does not allow the wheels to roll she gets frustrated and stops playing with it. Kitchen tile can you say WEEEEEE*faceplant* .... ok lesson learned, don't allow child to use in kitchen Didn't really think of using quite there ANYWAYS. Downstairs carpet ok cool, she uses it great. She crawls over and plays with just the front as well (we do have to have wheel stoppers of some form behind to back wheels while just playing with the front part otherwise it rolls away when she slams the piano keys haha)

Music is very short (does not play forever and ever and ever). Nice sounds actually 3 settings for sound. OFF, LOW, HIGH. High really isn't that bad, just helps her hear if there is something like the TV playing or other family members having fun elsewhere in the same room.

Yes the sounds do make noise when child isn't play a quick piano roll, or guitar sound TO GET THE CHILD TO COME BACK AND PLAY. This shouldn't be the ONLY toy to show cause and effect my child will play for with it knows the sound will go off in a few moments when she stops , waits for it to do the sound on it's own, laugh like there is no other joke told like this one, and get more into playing with it. The child will read it as an interactive game with them not confuse them completely on the short bit they learned on cause an effect. They still are getting that here AND hopefully else where if you're teaching them properly. /rant

You may need to be close by while they are learning to walk just like you would if they were learning to walk without the toy. Once they start cruising and are walking like a crab by going side to side steps, this toy will really help them cruise and learn the proper movement of the steps moving forward and back.

Falls may happen in life anyways will or without toys. Realize your child's milestone capabilities and follow proper parenting actions as it suits. Don't diss a product because your child may not be completely ready for all the aspects they are really really wanting to have.

We received this toy as a gift for our 3rd daughter. We have gone through several walkers before, so I have others to compare this one to. Our little one was not yet pulling up when we received this.

Pros:

Assembly: there are only a couple screws(2 on each side I think?)to attach the "legs" to the top piece. It took me 2 minutes

The front part of the toy is actually really neat. They should have stopped there. There are several different activities requiring different types of actions from baby. The music played for each is cute and not annoying like other toys we have had.

Cons:

Once my baby tried to pull up on this toy things went downhill. When pulling up to a stand from either the front or back, the entire toy falls over. More than once it bonked her in the head and once it gave her a good bruise. She was actually DISCOURAGED from pulling up after that! Then, once we convinced her to try to use the toy from a standing she got going way to fast, the wheels caught on the carpet and she fell face-first into the toy.

We ended up taking the "legs" off of the toy after that. She played with it propped up on the table on a regular basis. it was constantly falling over, however, since this isn't what it was meant for...

Overall, I would not recommend this toy at all, and it's just not worth the price to not use the legs and just play with it on it's own.

I bought this doll as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old who had requested an American Girl baby "with brown skin". The price for this doll was much more realistic! My daughter absolutely adores this doll. The doll is very cuddly and has a nice light powder scent. Her features are much cuter than many of the others I looked at, she is the perfect size, and it appears that she will be easily washable, although we have not had to do that yet. I love that the doll is soft so I don't have to worry about her hitting and hurting herself with it when she swings it around (which she does)also the hands and feet even though properly defined, are soft enough not to hurt her when she chews on them.(Her favourite chewing parts.) The doll is durable and I anticipate many more hours of enjoyment for its little owner as she gets older, and discovers new ways to play with it.

Blossoms Pram Decoration

Extremely cute toy a little funny how it attaches with the beads you are just supposed to wrap around something. They don't want to use velcro? not sure. All in all it seems durable nothing has come off or broken. My daughter (5 1/2) months loves playing with it. She bats at it and chews on the leaves. One leaf pieces came off but I just tied it back on with no trouble and it seems to be staying. It is so pretty I enjoy watching her play with it.

I don't know if anyone else got the impression I did but I thought, based on the picture, that the ends were fixed in the curved position that they show in the picture (like wire or something) and that I would be able to bend the ends around to fix it to the car seat handle, etc. That is NOT the case. It's a string with wooden flowers, etc on it. There is no way to fix it to anything so I ended up using rubber bands. My baby didn't seem all that enthralled with it contrary to the other glowing reviews. It is very nice, though and maybe when he's bigger I'll try it again. Overall, though, not for us. I ended up getting something different for him that he loves so this kind of ended up being a bad purchase for us.

There are some things that would interest a baby such as rings to slide, a crinkle flower, and a magnetic hand. The ball also has a cute face that vibrates when you pull it out. It does have some flaws unfortunately. The ball is supposed to make sounds, but it only does so when it is thrown or hit very hard. It isn't very sensitive to touch I guess. The head is also very hard to pull out.

This was purchased at Target as a Christmas present for my baby nephew, who was nearing his sixth-month "half-birthday" at the time of receiving it. I had really wanted to present this to him as a gift the moment I spotted one at a toy shelf, due to my love of the film "Lion King" and my hopes of raising a fondness for that same movie in my nephew.

He seemed to really like it a lot; however, the toy slips from his fingers constantly and it seems quite frustrating for him. It rolls along on the floor, roaring and playing music, but my nephew found difficulty in gripping it well and required assistance from the adults supervising him. It toppled over a lot. It is not the fault of the manufacturer, and the toy WAS designed to strengthen motor skills, so he will require practice before he can grasp the lion. Fortunately, according to my sister, they had placed the lion on the tabletop while she chatted with relatives holding my little nephew, and he took to Mufasa and entertained himself with it, laughing hysterically. He loves the lion, but he simply requires practice in grasping it correctly, and I tried to provide him with proper guidance in an easy way to hold on to it. Mufasa appears pretty durable, and if babies grip him by the little blue musical Zazu protruding from his back perhaps it'd be easier. With time, I am sure that my nephew should be able to hold on better to this toy, so it is not the company's fault, and he loves it. This could make a splendid gift!

Fisher-Price Tippin Tiger Ball Toss

I really though my son was going to like this toy since he loves anything with balls, but I have to say that it was poorly made. When my son would drop the balls in to the basket sometimes they would just stay in the basket and not go anywhere, other times they would just roll down the hole with out even tipping it enough to set off the sensor for the light and music. For it to play music my son would have to tip it himself with his hands because the balls are not enough to do it. The music is the same song and saying all the time and just the nose lights up. My son played with balls alone more than he ever played with the actual toys. I would not recommend it.

The manual clearly states: "Drop balls in the basket... for fun sounds, music and lights." This is not what the toy actually does the tipping action has to be activated by the user (in this case, my 7 month-old) and so is not the positive reinforcement toy I had hoped for.

You can throw those balls all day long and it will not make noise unless you physically push the net. Also, the tail does take up some room. Not that bad, unless you're dealing with a storage shortage. Don't waste your money or you space!

I purchased this toy on a whim while walking through Wal-Mart a couple weeks after Christmas. It was seriously marked down, I think I paid about $12 for it...it's not worth even that. This toy implies that by throwing the balls into the basket the head/basket area moves side to side, lights up, and sings...WRONG!!!

The three balls are FAR too light to make the head move. You have to manually move it to make the nose light up, and it only plays one song over and over. You can't see in the stock photo they show, but there's a giant plastic tail in the back of this toy that makes storing it extremely akward...it takes up much more space then you may thing. Overall, I say PASS. Spend the money you'd use on this piece of junk, and buy something that does what it says it will do!

There are many toys available for the same price that are much more fun and educational for your baby. I have two young boys and they pretty much ignore this toy. We have a Fisher Price gumball machine that is the same concept that has become their favorite (and every other child who comes to my home) toy. The gumball machine offers the same "place ball here and retreive it here" concept and is much more stimulating with songs and lights. The busy ball popper is also another suggestion that is a favorite toy. Please don't waste your money! Oh and there is a bar that comes out of the rear of the toy that takes up a bunch of space.

I had a monkey-themed shower and was happy to find these monkey-themed thank you notes. The product description didn't say how many notes came in the pack; there were only eight and I thought the price was a little steep for eight cards. Also, as I am writing out my thank you notes in the cards, I find that the glossy paper makes it difficult to write and the pen & ink get fussy and stop working. Given these two issues, I won't be buying more of these.

These are very cute, not very much room to write on and a little glossy. Worked ok with a fine point pen.

I love the idea of this simple toy for babies, but was horrified when mine fell apart during its first day of use. The six side pieces and ball present serious choking hazards when the toy doesn't stay together. We were able to repair it with some gorilla glue, but buyer beware!

Toy is Ok...much, much smaller than it looked in the picture...no dimensions. It is smaller than a baseball. We thought it would be somewhat larger.

Our son started playing with my husband's toy car (metal, with moving parts, not appropriate for baby), so we ordered this toy as a substitute. It's great very colorful with a ball inside so it makes noise as it rolls. The ball also helps to make the toy roll smoothly across a flat surface.

My only quibble is that the toy is about the size of a plum. From the picture I expected something larger, so I was pretty shocked at this tiny little thing that came out of the box. however, our son can get his hands around it, and it rolls really well, and he likes it. So the size is not that important as long as we keep our eyes on it. That thing could go missing under the sofa in nothing flat!

We love plan toys. We have many of their toys and my kids (5yr, 3yr, and 7mth) really love playing with them. This toy was great for my first son but my 7mth old got his fingers stuck in the space between the colored slats. I had to pull pretty hard to get them out and he had crimps in his fingers after I pulled them out. I thought maybe it was a fluke since it had never happened before with my other son, so I didn't throw it away.

He ended up grabbing it again a few days later and got 2 fingers and his thumb stuck that time! He was shaking his little hand and it wouldn't come off. So, I guess it wasn't a fluke.

I would not recommend this toy. However, I called Plan Toys and they were really nice and are sending me a different product to replace this one.

My son received this from our registry for Christmas. I was surprised at the size. I thought it was going to be bigger, but it is the perfect size for little hands to grasp. He was 2 months old at the time, so he didn't show much interest right away, but a few months later, this became a favorite of his to play with. Now he is 8 months old, and he loves to hold it with one hand and shake it and pass it to the other hand. We also roll it back and forth to each other. I turn it and point to the colors and tell him what they are. Plan Toys is such a great company. I feel completely safe when I see him gnawing on it, knowing it is non-toxic and eco-friendly. Evenflo ExerSaucerJump and Learn Stationary Jumper, Jam Session

Great product once again by evenflo! This is the 5th evenflo exersaucer I've purchased in 12 yrs! I searched the web for weeks for an entertainer and came across this one. It was the only one out there that offered all the features I was looking for. Unfortunately no one had written a review on it so I was a little nervous to spend the $149.99. Especially since it was nothing like the evenflo smart steps I previously owned with my (thought was last!) baby. Well my 5 month old LOVES THIS!!! The 3 music stations do interact together while attached to the unit (not sure how really). And the bar across the top has music as well when you pull on the plush instrument toys. Also allows me to attach other toys to it as well. She loves all the teethers and bright colors. I thought by the photo that the bottom floor base was like an exercise ball, but its not. Its made of plastic and the underneath is hallow, doesn't add "more bounce" but does help with balance developement. This does seem to take up slightly more room then the a traditional exersaucer but well worth it! It also doesn't fold or come apart for storage or travel, which I use to take my other one with me when going to bbq's and other outings. I can get this outside on my own though. Also the photo on amazon shows a circular bottom, but it is actually triangular. This is better in my opinion because it fits nicely in a corner! Look no further, this is the one!

We started using this when our son was 3 months (~15 lbs). We used soft props to keep him from wobbling too much. He is now almost 5 months and can stay in it for about 30 minutes at a time. He likes the music and lights. He can't quite reach the tall toys yet but he likes looking at them. This unit is more expensive than other units but is well made and has held up well to daily use. The seat is washable and I haven't noticed any discoloration or shrinkage after washing. The base is a triangle not circle as pictured on Amazon.

I was wary of many jumpers because they had so many attachments and noisy components and colors and craziness that I thought there was no way they could be good for babies or their attention spans (or my migraines). Our baby LOVES this jumper, and it's not even really that noisy or annoying. The colors are less obnoxious than on a lot of other jumpers.

Downsides are that it takes an awful lot of batteries (12 AAA), and it's a real pain to assemble (some of the pieces on ours didn't fit perfectly together, and so the little blue saucer disc is not completely attached to the frame despite our best efforts). But our son loves it so much that I couldn't knock a star for them.

I bought this because I was hoping a music themed jumparoo would have some better music. I think it's decent. There a jazz, rock'n roll and classical sound to it. the jazz is "when the saints come marching in", the rock in "rocking robin" and I should know what the classical tune is with my background but I'm not sure about that. It's interesting because the different "stations" interact with each other if you get them going at the same time, ie, if the baby plays the drums, and then moves over to the keys, the drums are activated along with the keys and play along for a few moments. I think this is pretty sophisticated but it doesn't last too long. Overall the look of this is OK, the music is definitely better than others, and I'm overall happy with it. I did purchase a large mirror that I mounted to the side with the stuffed instruments that my baby really appreciates. The disc on the bottom has a little give to it but I wouldn't call it bouncy by any means. The mirror I bought is: Wimmer-Ferguson Double-Feature Mirror and it fits very well on the cross bar. I recommend adding this as any baby loves a mirror

Very sturdy/solid and well made. The toy options are fantastic. My 4 month old is able to grab at the large teethers without a problem and flip the music book toy back and forth. There are others that she is not strong or tall enough to play with just yet, but of course she is growing...

The seat is deep and very supportive. She is able to reach the bottom (first setting) without having anything under her feet. (Note: when you first put your baby in it he/she will probably not be able to reach, but the elastics stretched after a total of about 1 hour of use.)

I love that the seat is bouncy, but not super bouncy. I really didn't want my child to just keep bouncing like crazy without paying attention to any of the toys around her. This is a GREAT option if you have older siblings that will also be playing with your younger one. My 4 year old loves playing with this with her baby sister, the microphone is her favorite. The three musical toys on the base (piano, book, and drum) have two noise settings, the lower setting is perfect for us, not too loud. I don't find the songs annoying in any way. The musical toys on the base are also "smart" in that, if set to the right mode, play at the same time when only one of them is pressed. I have called the company myself and have confirmed that all plastics are BPA free. The plastics in this product are PP, ABS, and EVA (a common platic used for teethers), which all seem acceptable.

This has a large footprint. Although this doesn't bother me at all.

The seat really doesn't turn as well as it probably should. I have not gotten around to calling the company, but I will soon and update my review with their response. The seat is not an issue for us at this point.

Disney Owl Developmental Sound Toy

This item is ok but does not resemble an owl. Large item that looks more like a big pink Tweety Bird. Granddaughter can reach it and seems to like it. Also clamps tightly to the handle of her car seat for on the go entertainment.

I connected this to my daughter's carseat and she loves it. I thought it was adorable but it has become one of her favorites.

Lamaze Sydney and Sandy Kangaroo

I gave this to my daughter as soon as it arrived and she immediately fell in love with it (she's almost 10 months). The crinkly parts and jangling plastic pieces were very entertaining for her, and she loves it when my husband squeezes it to make it squeak. The Lamaze toys are awesome; we have the musical octopus toy and a few others as well. The hold up well and our daughter just loves them.

Really, this whole line of toys is very cute, but I especially liked the kangaroo and panda. I decided on the kangaroo for my 3 month old daughter and she loves it. The colors and patterns really hold her interest and she "talks" to it. She's just starting to grab hold of the crinkly ears. It's also nice that it attaches easily to her crib, stroller, car seat--really everywhere. And whenever people see it, they are always saying what a neat toy it is. It really was a good buy.

My 5 1/2 month old daughter has enjoyed this toy since I first handed it to her at about 4 months. It has crinkly cellophane under all the non-red surfaces, so there is a quiet bit of noise there, and the rings on the tail make a gentle rattle. The best part, though, is that there are thick parts and thin parts, so there are plenty of good grab points, and the ears, nose, tail, and feet are all good (and apparently qualitatively different) spots for mouthing. The toy overall is a good size--not hard to find, but small enough for the average diaper bag. My only complaint is that I would like for the tether between the toy and the clip to be longer or stretchable. It is not as easy for my baby to manipulate when clipped to her stroller straps as I would like. Otherwise, highly recommended!

My Grandson Loves all the Lamaze animal toys. He has 6. The red color gets his attention. He like to grab the little roo from the pouch and grab the Sandy's nose.

My son loves this toy. He has a Pup squeak and a Mortimer moose as well, and although he likes both he reaches for the Sydney much more often. He may enjoy the Pup squeak when he gets a bit older and can make it bark on his own, however.

Fisher-Price Song and Story Learning Chair

I got this for my sons 1st birthday and okay I gave it to him before his actual birthday and so glad I did. This is the "new" improved song & story chair and so happy with it. My son just loves it. He sits in it and hits the light to hear songs or the story, he stands behind it and rocks to the tunes. This has to be the best chair ever.

A few years ago, I purchased this chair for a friend's one year old after seeing how much my own granddaughter loved it. I paid approximately $40 for the chair. Today, I went online to see where I could purchase another as a gift for an upcoming first birthday and almost fell off my chair when I saw what this company is charging for that same chair $160.00. It is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen and you have to be crazy to spend that much for it. It's plastic, not gold!! What a rip. Obviously, I won't be purchasing this as a gift anytime soon.

There's no doubt at all that this Song & Story Learning Chair is cute, educational, fun for toddlers, and worth buying; however, the chair has serious -no, egregious -stability issues that come from a design flaw. The chair is not properly weighted or designed: it flips up and over when my toddler gets up from the chair as he touches anywhere on the storybook or table area. The chair tips over far too easily for its targeted age range, and this *is* a serious design flaw and problem for parents. Toy designers know that safety is the number issue, and I cannot believe that Fisher-Price did not follow through and correct this second iteration of its musical chair.

I bought this for my son when he was old enough to sit up on his own and pull himself up...I would say, about 6 months. He has played with it EVERY SINGLE day since then. Now, he is 13 months and still loves the heck out of it!! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED from us!

As for any "mechanical" issues or anything like that, we have had NO problems whatsoever with it. We just put it together, according to the directions, slapped in some batteries, and TA-DA!!! Super easy to put together!

I bought this for my seven month old daughter from Craigslist and she just adores it. I can not get her off of it. She likes to sit sideways in it and climb all around it. I put thick couch pillows behind and on the side of the chair to avoid it tipping over. My daughter likes every single thing about this chair. She likes to play with the pages, clock, lamp and the seat of the chair, all of which sing and talk. This toy keeps my daughter busy and engaged. She is 27 inches long and fits perfectly in it. Be careful when buying this product used as it had a recall. The recall included a fix for the chair which is an extra piece that is screwed on toward the back of the chair to avoid baby from getting caught between the table and back of chair.

What can you say about a stuffed animal? Bought this for one of our children and it looks to be pretty sturdy. Stitching and constructions seems solid. Toy takes abuse well. Probably a good buy if your child (or inner child for you adults) is into Mickey Mouse.

I bought the Mickey plush for my daughter, Mickey is cute, colors are like normal Mickey(red shorts, yellow shoes). Shipping was as stated. I didnt read the listing until after I purchased it so I didnt know that it had crinkly ears and jingle bells in it(I just wanted a Mickey plush and this one was the cheapest one at the time) but I think that is a nice touch, my daughter loves that he makes jingle noises when she makes him jump. His ears are not crinkly though. It does look a little off(mines face was a little uneven but then again what toy isnt). Overall its a nice toy for kids, cute, cuddly and soft and most importantly my daughter loves it =]

Hi, I recently received a gift at a baby shower for my daughter. the gift was one of your company toys, a lady bug hang toy. in one of the lady bugs hands is a sun with shapes on it. I was checking all her toys under a black light and noticed a chemical was wiping off of it on to my hands. when not under black light there is nothing, but under black light it leaves a highlighter color on my skin. after about 25 min me and my mom both started itching where it was left. I would like to know what this chemical is, for the fact that its for a baby and baby's chew and touch things. its not ok for an invisible irritant to be present on baby toys.

My daughter enjoys this toy. She is 6 months and it is eye-catching. It rattles and she likes to teeth on the various parts hanging off the feet. It does kind of look like a spider, but not so much that it's gross or anything.

Bought this for baby as a newborn only because it was under 4 dollars and saw that it was priced 15 dollars at Meijer! He loved the mirror and colors as a newborn. When hanging, the legs dangle around the mirror on the belly and he seemed fascinated by them! Grabbing at them was great for his hand eye coordination! After a few months he loved the crinkle and squeaky noises. Now at 6 months he's teething and just can't get enough of the rings! We take this toy everywhere and it is an essential on the car seat or stroller! The clip is formed perfectly to attach to things or for baby's grip to swing around. I knew it was cute but it's just crazy how attached he is to this particular toy! I am definitely purchasing more Eric Carle toys for Christmas and probably paying close to full price and I know that it's worth every penny! We also have the star toy and it's a close 2nd runner up favorite. Eric Carle toys have beautiful bright colors and textures as well!

I got this as a gift at my baby shower and we started using it almost right away when our son was born. He is now 4 months old and he really loves his ladybug. As he has gotten older, he continues to discover new things he likes about his ladybug. We take her EVERYWHERE with us. While driving around in the car, we always put her in his lap and he is constantly playing with her and will fall asleep holding onto her. We he can't reach her, he whines until we put her back into arms reach. I would HIGHLY recommend it.
