Haba Ladybug Pacifier Chain
Buy Haba Ladybug Pacifier Chain Now
The paint has faded a tad from constant gnawing, but my daughter loves this pacifier chain. It is also very cute.I like that it is long enough that it rarely gets caught up so that she can't get her binky to her mouth, and short enough that it doesn't tangle. The clip is sturdy and we use it every day. She can always find her binky to put it back in her mouth.
My only minor complaint might be that it is a pain to get a binky on and off, you have to loop it through the chain itself... but it isn't enough to make me mark it down... this chain has been a lifesaver.I love all our Haba toys (thank you, friends + family) and when I needed a binky-chain this was the one for us. Adorable design, solid, and simple to use. A little pricy, but you get what you pay for. Still works nine months later and no failings with the clasp, the string threaded through the wooden beads, the beads, all of it still as good as new. Baby liked teething on the beads a bit. Best of all, I wanted a chain that would be long enough to clip straight down on her clothes so she wouldn't risk any strangling and wouldn't fiddle with the clasp. This was the one! Sadly we are now broken of our binky habit but I still carry the beads and am thinking of threading a rattle or other toy, or using it with a snack trap to keep from getting thrown on the floor while in transit.I've had this paci chain for 2 years. Used w/ my 1st child and now use w/ my son. It is very durable, clips well onto clothes, etc and hold up to babies "teething" on it as well. Haba has done great once again!

Electronic Kid's Sing Along Recordable Toy Microphone by B. Okiedeokie - Papaya
Buy Electronic Kid's Sing Along Recordable Toy Microphone by B. Okiedeokie - Papaya Now
My two year old daughter loves to sing along to all of the little songs this plays, and puts on little shows for family when they come over. It is a really nice size, and is easy for her tiny hands to find the right buttons, she just needs help turning it on, but can turn it off all by herself. The volume knob on the bottom is a really nice feature, I could do without the slow down/speed up feature.I bought this for my little 8month old baby to sing along in church with us. She loves it. We even recorded ourselves singing twinkle twinkle to her. So she always has her parents singing to her.Want Electronic Kid's Sing Along Recordable Toy Microphone by B. Okiedeokie - Papaya Discount?
Sound was very quiet could hardly hear and could not adjust volume. Put new batteries in as it would not work even with new batteries it very occasionally worked. Am returning it.Monday, June 9, 2014

VTech Pop and Count Vacuum Push Toy

Vac handle falls down too readily. Would like to see an easier upright balance allowing for the vacuum to be parked/stored in the upright position without having to prop it up. Two year old enjoys pushing it and mastered pick up of the colored blocks readily. Would like to see a yellow block as well.Read Best Reviews of VTech Pop and Count Vacuum Push Toy Here
This toy is obnoxious and impossible to use. The vacuum is hard to push on carpet and hardwood and will not pick up the blocks. Plus, if you don't immediately turn it off, it will randomly sing 20 minutes later and scare the crap out of you.Received this as a gift for my daughter's first birthday. It is difficult to push on carpet and won't stand on its own. Basically she only uses it by pressing the buttons. Her fingers got caught in the rotating pieces within 5 minutes. A really bad product.Wednesday, March 5, 2014

Flapsi Rattling figure
Buy Flapsi Rattling figure Now
I love the Haba toys. Flapsi is especially cute and well-made. My son is 9 weeks old and is stating to grab at it. It makes a very satisfying clanking noise when shaken. This will be a great toy for him for a few months. Also no need to worry about chemicals in plastics or paints, as it's made of wood and is painted with water-based laquer.Flapsi makes a great clicking noise that is perfect for getting a little one's attention. At this point, my son loves putting either the head or round "tail" in his mouth. Great quality, and completely unique!THIS TOY IS A WONDERFUL ALTERNATIVE TO TOXIC CHEAPLY MADE PLASTIC TOYS. IT IS COMFORTING ESPECIALLY DURING TEETHING TO KNOW THAT OUR CHILD IS NOT CHEWING ON SOMETHING THAT CAN MAKE HIM POSSIBLY ILL. THE HABA SMALL TOY LINE IS REASONABLY PRICED AS WELL. FLAPSI MAKES A SMALL RATTLING NOISE WHEN SHAKEN AS THE WOOD PIECES HIT TOGETHER. OUR SON LIKES THE BRIGHT COLORS!!Sunday, January 26, 2014
Sing Me to Sleep Pooh
My second grandchild is 1 month old. When she was at our house, she was having trouble sleeping in the port-a-crib so I put Pooh and Piglet in with her and played the lullabys. She immediately calmed down and drifted off to sleep. Later, when checking on her, I smilingly noticed that she was holding on to Piglet. She now has her own.
This is such a special toy in our family. The on/off switch, the remote control and the number of choices make it very versatile. I would recommend it highly particularly as a baby shower gift.
The only negative the bulb is not replaceable. When it burns out the night-light effect goes with it; however, we have been operating it daily for 10 months and the bulb is still going strong.

I recieved this Pooh Bear as a gift from a friend off of my baby registry--I've never been a big Pooh fan or anything, but this toy had changed that! The toy is soft and plush and heavy enough that baby cannot pull it onto her head or smother herself or any of those scary things. It's a little large but it fits perfectly at the head of her cradle.
By tapping a button inside the pillow, you start off a long set of music beginning with Pooh and Piglet singing, then some various classical lullabye music, and finally some soft nature sounds (birds chirping and such) interspersed with lullabyes. I didn't find the music to be too loud at all. Also, as the tunes progress, a bright nightlight in the pillow dims slowly and finally shuts off.
It also comes with a remote control, with various buttons to choose from starting the lullabye set from the beginning, middle or end. The remote control is an awesome feature, as it allows me to be more lazy and shut the toy off from the doorway, hehe. The only reason I didn't give this item five stars is because after a week of use the remote stopped working for me--It used to start songs automatically, but now I have to start the toy by pushing the button on the pillow. I can still switch songs with the remote though, I just can't turn the toy on with it.My 3-month old daughter LOVES this toy! When I put her down to sleep, I tell her that Pooh is going to sing to her and she squeals and giggles. And it really works! It starts out with an adorable lullaby (that I find myself singing to myself throughout the day) then moves on to just music. The music progressively gets softer and slower, and the nightlight progressively dims. My daughter always falls asleep before it ends. It's amazing! I especially love it because I am able to put my daughter in her crib while she's still awake, and it helps soothe her while she learns to fall asleep on her own. Perfect choice for a baby shower!!!

Alphabet Blocks
I like the fact that each block has a big capital letter, and inside, something that starts with that letter; for example, the "D" block has a dog. We'll be able to use these blocks for a long time because of that; I can imagine spending time with my son and teaching him that "C" is for cat -and he'll be able to see both to make that association.
My son, on the other hand, couldn't care less at this point about the letters of the alphabet (he'll soon be one year old), but he does enjoy stacking and knocking over the blocks, banging them together, and especially shaking the ones that make noise. One of his favorites is the "I" block, which has an ice cream sundae inside with lots of sprinkles that rattle merrily when he shakes it.
All in all, this is a good, affordable, durable, educational and fun set of blocks. My family continues to be very pleased with them.I really love all the Fisher Price Peek a Blocks---I saw them long before I knew we'd have a surprise #3 baby and I would actually have an excuse to buy them! Now we own pretty much all the sets. I would have to say this set, although big, is one of the weaker ones. The letters on the sides sometimes block seeing what's inside too well, and the toys inside are not as interactive or interesting as is the case with some of these blocks---for example, a horse that just sits there, a zylophone that doesn't move much, an apple that turns. I like their blocks with tiny things to shake inside or the like---the kind of things babies can't generally play with as they are too small, but that are made safe by being enclosed! Also, having ABCs is most just a way to have a set here I think---unless you are very into early learning, I don't think most babies are really ready to associate the letters with the toys inside (I know SOME babies are, but not that many, and not mine!) However, all this said, I still would say to buy this set, if you know you like this kind of block---It's great to add 26 more in one fell swoop!I bought these blocks for my daughter when she was 9 months old and she really only enjoys them now. She is 14 months now and is starting to recognize some of the objects inside when I ask her to get them. But be warned bc they're not great for the real younger babies since there are only a few of them that really do anything like beep or rattle. Most of them just have a stationary object that may jiggle a bit. The ones that you can twist yourself are not child-friendly. She can't turn the knob at all so she gets frustrated. My 3 yr old can just do it. He likes them too bc they incorporate the alphabet. Another thing is that the printed letters block some of the objects so it's harder to see inside. I would more so recommend a diff set for a younger baby (6 mos)like the sound sensations and these for an older child (1 yr). Although you can't beat the price for 26 of these blocks! I also just recently got the Roll-A-Rounds by fisher price as a gift. It's the same concept but a ball vs block. She likes them ALOT!

After "eyeing" this toy for several months and being hesitant to buy it because of the cost, we finally broke bown and purchased it when our daughter was 15 months old. We're very glad we did!Our daughter loves shaking the blocks, banging them together and knocking over the blocks after we stack them up for her. She really likes putting them all into a plastic bin and then taking them all out again! The letter written on each block is meaningless to her right now, but that time will come.
We plan to keep these blocks for a few years. As our daughter approaches school age, the blocks will be a great tool to help teach and reinforce letter-sound association. We believe she may never be too old to benefit from her Peek-A-Boo blocks. We know we're not!
Consider donating your set to a local library or school when you're done with them. This set incorporates a lot of the favorites from other sets packaged in an A to Z learning format. I have been leary of purchasing too many of these blocks for storage reasons so the zippered case is a great bonus. Definitely worth every penny.

VTech - 2-in-1 Discovery Table
Being that I have both purchased and received these types of educational toys made by Fisher Price and Little Tikes, I had reservations about the assembly process. All those teeny tiny screws and such are NOT the business. Well, V-Tech ensured I didnt have that problem at all.
The product has SIX pieces to assemble together and none of them are small. The pieces consist of the two teddy bear shaped leg stands, the educational table/counter, an orange pencil cup and two big, long red screws. To assemble, you simply put the table between the two legs and insert a red screw through the applicable hole and tighten with your hand. No hard labor, no screwdrivers required.
Fun wise, the table is great. The colored piano keys play music and teach colors and numbers. The table's colored gears and clock (both are pre-assembled) play music when theyre rotated. The book in the middle both plays music and changes the table's learning mode. The table also easily rotates to be used as an activity table for a child to draw or write or whatever. The pencil cup is the lone accessory that is used on both sides of the table and is easily secured and removed.
Best of all, the table will automatically shut itself off after it has been idle for a time. I am sure it has some drain on the battery, but I havent had an issue in over a month of use.
This activity play center has actually sold me on the V-Tech product line and both my daughter and I love it.My son is fifteen months old and he loves this toy. Right now, he is more interested in the side with the clock, ruler, book, and gears than the drawing side. As he gets older, though, the drawing side will become more popular. This is a toy that will really grow with him. It is also educational: it teaches numbers, colors, alphabet, etc.

My 14 month old is very easily entertained with just about anything, but the toys we buy her. Since she is on the verge of walking and seems to have no interest in her step and play piano, I decided to order this. She actually goes over to it daily, which is more then I can say for about the other 95% of her toys. Does she stand at it for a long time? Nope, but she doesn't do that with anything. Her favorite part of the this table, of course, is the pencil cup which she flings all over the living room. Our dog has a fun time trying to catch it too. I really wish that cup was attached. I'm not too sure why they didn't attach it bc it is annyoing to have to have another item yet to pick up off the floor. The toy does move around if you have wood floors. If I don't push it against the wall, she will use it as a walker too and push the table around the entire house. It's sturdy and I've had no problems with the legs wobbling. I like that it's small too. Amazon had the best price for it that I found.Read Best Reviews of VTech - 2-in-1 Discovery Table Here
I bought this as a second play table for my son to have at his Grandmothers house where he spends 2 days a week. I love that you can flip the table over and have a surface for coloring! It's not the "sturdiest" of toys so it does need to be up against something or it just slides across the floor and my son can't pull up on it, it's a little wobbly side to side but not a big problem if it's up against something. He loves playing with it and it has a lot of different songs, sounds and words so it doesn't get so repetitive you beg him to stop playing with it!Overall I would highly recommend this toy.I bought this toy for my son when he was 8 months old and he loved it. He started crawling n try to stand up with different things so I bought this table. He use to stand with it like for hours and enjoys different things on its top. The only thing which I don't like about this toy is its light weight. Because my son couldn't stand on his own so he put all his weight over it and this toy slipped forward
